Messiah is speaking about what is yet to come yet he speaks of the same thing that happened during the times of Hanukkah why Hanukkah is a foreshadow of the End of the Age the events of Hanukkah took place in between the Bible they are recorded in the book of the books of mccabes first and second mccabes mccabes is not scripture but it's historical and it records what God did the events of Hanukkah were prophesied in the Hebrew scriptures by the Prophet Daniel they are recorded and celebrated in the New Testament by Jesus himself Yeshua the

Messiah Gospel of John as we said dedication is Hanukkah we're going to open up tonight the mysteries of Hanukkah which has to do with the end times for what has to do with the you as an end time believer in a nutshell it was the 2 Century BC the Syrian Greek king guy named Antiochus epiphanies epiphanies means god manifest that's what he called himself issued a decree that all the peoples of his empire were to worship the gods of the Greeks and to follow the ways of God became illegal in Israel imagine living in a

to change times and laws number one to remove the name Christmas make it the holiday season or the winter recess I can remember in public school singing Christmas carols in public school they taught us Christmas carols in public school Jewish students singing in a secular Public School System Christmas carols and yet now Changing Times you know what they're trying to change they're trying to change now BC and AD it's happening more and more in the scholarly world it's already happened in museums it's happened it's happening in the educational system even in the media you'll might

and that is even now that we are setting up Abominations in place of the Holy Jing what is sacred the culture now says what is what was holy is Unholy is an Abomination and what was an Abomination is now treated as holy in many ways children are being taught to hate everything that has been Hate Everything America has been and the subtext is Christian culture and with that you know one of the things that the that Antiochus did it says any Scroll of the law the word of God that they found they tore up they

burned it who if you are found with a scroll the Bible whoever observed the law was condemned to death you're put to death so they used their power against Israel and against those who were keeping God's way and tius was totalitarian so will be the Antichrist and we are in in and in totalitarian cultures or nations any speech that goes against the official speech is banned so we are watching the move away from Free Speech you know we grew up with it free speech I have the right to say this free speech that's America now

and he tells those who dwell on the earth to make an image of the Beast the Antichrist who had the wound of the sword and came back to life it was given to him breath to the image of the Beast that it would speak as many it's talking about an image like an idol or something and that appears to be the Abomination except it some way comes to life in some way the Antichrist is a desecrator he defiles so the spirit of the Antichrist which is even now in the world desecrates even now whatever is

Holy it it defiles it's a spirit that Delights in taking what is sacred and innocent and defiling it you can see it happening in apostate churches where the Unholy has invaded what was supposed to be holy you see a church with a flag with a rainbow celebrating immorality what the Bible says that's a desecration but as children are the most innocent you see it in children's programming Cartoons infiltrated by adult sexual immorality classic fairy tales infiltrated by the alter ation of sexuality Disney used to hear that and you think oh Disney that's family oh that's

faithful so when a culture turns away from God those who don't turn away from God convict their very testimony is a conviction to the culture you are a conviction to the culture if you're standing for God Elijah stood for God when the nation turned away and the King Ahab said you Elijah you are the troubler of Israel and he and Elijah said I am not the troubler of Israel You're the one you're the troubler cuz you have abandoned Our God so Elijah stood out as a troublemaker even though he was just standing as everybody had

standing for God in an apostate culture means you are a conviction you are a witness you're a light of in the dark one person in God is greater than a million people against us it doesn't matter don't fear their numbers you've got much more numbers you don't know you can't see all the angels that are around you they're much greater than anything in this culture and last thing it says on their return these are soldiers these are the mccabes they sang hymns and praise to heaven to God for for his goodness they said thanks go
