time is the most valuable gift we possess yet it slips through our hands like grains of sand each day presents us with countless opportunities to prioritize what truly matters how we choose to spend our time reflects the condition of our hearts and the focus of Our Lives if our hearts are aligned with God our time will naturally reflect that alignment the choices we make today will Ripple into eternity shaping not only our relationship with God but also the Legacy that we leave behind today I want to explore how we can consistently make time for God

every day and why it is vital for our spiritual growth I am also going to pray a powerful prayer with you in the mighty name of Jesus so watch until the end and open your hearts to receive the blessings of this prayer my friends imagine a farmer with fertile land entrusted with seeds for a lifegiving harvest if he neglects to plant those seeds or fails to nurture them the Harvest is lost and the potential for growth is squandered our time with God is much like those seeds it requires intentional planting and nurturing to produce the

Abundant spiritual fruit God desires for us Psalm 92: 12-13 says the righteous shall flourish like a palm tree he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God this verse reminds us that flourishing in life depends on being deeply rooted in God's presence daily without this intentional planting we risk withering spiritually unable to withstand the trials of life making time for God is the foundation of a life that thrives anchored in his love and wisdom now let us look at

the foundation of prioritizing God in daily life my friends the life we build each day reflects the foundation that we choose to lay if our foundation is rooted in our desires or distractions it cannot stand the tests of time when we build on God however we construct a foundation that is unshakable one that sustains Us in every season Jesus Illustrated this in Matthew 7: 24-2 where he spoke of the wise man who built his house upon the rock the rain descended the floods came and the winds blew yet that house stood firm because it was

founded on the rock this rock is not merely belief in God but a life actively shaped by his presence making time for God daily as the Cornerstone of that foundation without it our spiritual lives be become fragile prone to collapse under the weight of stress fear and uncertainty consider the story of Martha and Mary in Luke 10: 38-42 Martha though well-meaning allowed the demands of the day to pull her away from sitting at the feet of Jesus Mary on the other hand prioritized his presence choosing to absorb his words and commune with him Jesus commended

Mary's Choice saying she had chosen what is better and it would not be taken away from her this teaches us that what we prioritize reveals what we truly value each of us has countless responsibilities pulling at our attention family work and personal Ambitions can easily dominate our schedule but the truth is no no task or Pursuit can fill the void that only God is meant to occupy David understood this when he declared in Psalm 63 verse one oh God you are my God early will I Seek You My Soul thirsts For You My Flesh Longs

for you in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water David's Pursuit Of God was not driven by obligation but by an awareness of his deep spiritual need like a parched traveler in the desert he sought the lifegiving presence of the Lord my friends when we fail to make time for God our Spirits grow parched and we begin to seek fulfillment in things that cannot satisfy our busy schedules and worldly Pursuits become like broken cisterns that hold no water leaving us depleted and longing for more to prioritize God is to recognize that everything

we need flows from him when we give God the first moments of our day we set the tone for how we will navigate its challenges Proverbs 3: 5-6 encourages us to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge Him and He Shall direct your paths acknowledging God in every moment requires deliberate effort it means pausing to pray read his word and invite him to guide our thoughts and actions let us not fall into the Trap of thinking that a quick prayer or a rushed

reading of scripture is enough to sustain us a thriving relationship with God requires the same investment as any other meaningful relationship imagine a close friend or spouse who only receives a fleeting moment of your time each day that relationship would grow distant and the connection would weaken in the same way God desires more than a token acknowledgement he Longs for us to dwell in his presence to listen to his voice and to pour out our hearts before him making time for God every day is not a burden it is a blessing it is the opportunity

to align our lives with his will and receive the peace strength and direction that come only from him Isaiah 26:3 assures us you will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you when we intentionally focus our minds and hearts on God his peace guards us against the chaos of life this peace cannot be manufactured by our efforts it is a Divine gift reserved for those who abide in him friends as we reflect on the importance of prioritizing God let us remember that this decision is not only about

us our time with God affects the people around us when we are rooted in his presence we become conduits of his love Grace and wisdom our families co-workers and communities are impacted by the Overflow of God's work in our lives in Acts 4: 13 to4 it is written that when the apostles Peter and John spoke the people marveled at their boldness knowing they were uneducated and untrained men yet they realized that these men had been with Jesus the time we spend with God transforms us making his presence evident in our words and actions as we

begin to establish this foundation in our daily lives let us commit to giving God our best not what remains after everything else our relationship with him deserves the first first and finest portion of our time just as a farmer tends to his crops with care and diligence so we must tend to our time with the Lord knowing that the Harvest will be abundant let us now consider cultivating a heart that seeks God my friends making time for God begins with a heart that longs for him it is not enough to schedule a moment for him

our hearts must truly desire his presence the outward Act of seeking God stems from an inward attitude of devotion and humility Psalm 42: 1-2 says As the deer pants for the water Brooks so pants my soul for you oh God my soul thirsts for God for the Living God this Vivid image captures the essence of a heart that yearns for God a longing so profound it cannot be ignored or replaced if our hearts do not thirst for him the act of spending time with God can become mechanical lacking life and passion true communion with God

begins when our hearts are aligned with his seeking him with sincerity and love one of the greatest barriers to cultivating a heart that seeks God is the distraction of worldly Pursuits the enemy often uses these distractions to shift our Focus making the Urgent seem more important than the Eternal consider the parable of the wedding feast in Matthew 22: 1 to5 the king invited many To The Feast but they declined consumed by their own businesses and Pursuits these distractions cause them to miss the honor of dining in the king's presence in the same way our distractions

Rob us of the joy and fulfillment that come from time spent with God to overcome these distractions we must first recognize their hold on us ask yourself my friends what is consuming your time and energy what tasks or desires have subtly taken priority over your relationship with God Hebrews 12:1 urges us to lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ens snares us and run with endurance the race that is set before us the weights in our lives are not always sinful they can be good things that are misplaced in our priorities when

we surrender these weights to God we create space for him to move freely in our lives another key to cultivating a heart that seeks God is developing a deep love for his word the Bible is not merely a book to be read it is the living and active voice of God speaking directly to Our Hearts 2 Timothy 3: [Music] 16-17 reminds us that all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for Doctrine for reproof for correction for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be complete thoroughly equipped for every good

work when we meditate on God's word daily it transforms our thinking shapes our desires and equips us to live according to his will a heart that loves the word of God well naturally seek the god of the word prayer is also essential in cultivating a seeking heart prayer is more than asking for blessings it is a conversation with the creator of the universe it is where we pour out our hearts listen to his voice and experience his presence Daniel's life serves as an example of unwavering commitment to prayer in Daniel 6: 10 to1 11 even

when faced with the threat of death he knelt and prayed three times a day giving thanks to God Daniel's consistency in prayer was not rooted in fear but in a deep love and dependence on God like Daniel we must cultivate a habit of prayer that remains steadfast regardless of circumstances worship is another powerful way to cultivate a heart that seeks God true worship is not confined to songs or Sunday Services it is a lifestyle of adoration and surrender John 4: 23 to 24 tells us that the true worshippers will worship the father in spirit and

Truth for the father is seeking such to worship Him worship shifts our Focus from ourselves to God reminding us of his greatness and our dependence on him when we worship we invite his presence into our lives creating an atmosphere where our hearts can be transformed my friends it is important to remember that cultivating a seeking heart is not about perfection but persistence distance there will be days when distractions creep in and our time with God feels distant do not be discouraged God's grace is sufficient to meet us where we are Lamentations 3: 22 to 23

reminds us through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed because his compassions fail not they are new every morning great is your faithfulness each day is a fresh opportunity to realign our hearts with him and seek him a new cultivating a heart that seek God also requires Community we are not called to walk this journey alone Ecclesiastes 4:9 to10 teaches that two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labor for if they fall one will lift up His companion surround yourself with others who encourage you to grow in your relationship

with God together you can hold each other accountable pray for one another and share the joys of seeking him also remember that God promises to draw near to those who seek Him James 4:8 says draw near to God and He will draw near to you this is not a vague hope but a guarantee from the heart of a loving father when we make the effort to seek him he meets us with his presence filling our hearts with peace joy and purpose let us commit to cultivating hearts that seek God daily knowing that in him we

find everything we need and let us now consider walking in the Overflow of God's presence my friends when we consistently make time for God we begin to live in the Overflow of his presence this overflow is not limited to the moments we spend in prayer or reading his word it impacts every area of Our Lives a life rooted in Daily communion with God becomes a vessel through which his love wisdom and power are poured out into the world Ephesians 3 verses 20 to 21 reminds us that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all

that we ask or think according to the power that works in us this power flows through those who make space for him each day transforming not only their lives but the lives of those around them when we walk in the Overflow of God's presence our perspective on life changes challenges that once seemed insurmountable are now seen through the lens of faith and trust in God in 2 Chronicles 20: 1517 King Jehoshaphat faced a vast Army and fear threatened to overwhelm him and his people but instead of focusing on the size of the problem Jehoshaphat sought

God and God assured him that the battle was not his to fight this shift in perspective came from time spent In God's Presence where his voice brought Clarity and courage when we prioritize God he grants us the wisdom and strength to navigate life's uncertainties with confidence the Overflow of God's presence also produces a peace that surpasses understanding this peace is not dependent on circumstances but is a result of abiding in him in John 14: 27 Jesus said Peace I leave with you my peace I give to you not as the world gives do I give

to you let not your heart be troubled neither Let It Be Afraid this peace anchors our souls even in the midst of Storms and serves as a testimony to those around us when others see the calm and assurance that come from God's presence they are drawn to the source of that peace another Hallmark of walking in the Overflow of God's presence is a heart filled with gratitude when we spend time with God daily we become more aware of his goodness and faithfulness Psalm 100:4 encourages us to enter into his gates with Thanksgiving and into his

courts with praise be thankful to him and bless his name gratitude transforms our Outlook shifting our Focus from what we lack to the abundance of blessings God has provided this attitude of thankfulness not only honors God but also Al Fosters joy and contentment in our lives walking in the Overflow also equips us to serve others with a heart of love and compassion when we are filled with God's presence we naturally extend his grace and kindness to those around us in Acts 9 veres 36 to 39 we read about Dorcas a disciple known for her good

works and charitable Deeds her life overflowed with the love of God and she made a lasting impact on her community her example reminds us that the time we spend with God empowers us to be his hands and feet in a world desperate for his touch spending time with God daily also sharpens our ability to hear his voice in a world filled with noise and distraction it is vital to discern God's leading in our lives Isaiah 30 verse 21 says your ears shall hear a word behind you saying this is the way walk in it whenever

you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left this Clarity comes from consistent communion with God where we learn to recognize his voice above all others as we walk in his guidance our decisions align with his perfect will and our paths are made straight living in the Overflow of God's presence also strengthens our ability to persevere through trials the Apostle Paul understood this well as he faced countless hardships in his ministry yet in second Corinthians 12: 9 to10 he declared that God's grace was sufficient sufficient for him and that God's strength

was made perfect in weakness this resilience was a result of Paul's deep relationship with God which sustained him through every challenge when we make time for God we too are fortified by his grace enabling us to endure and overcome my friends the Overflow of God's presence is not meant to remain within us it is meant to spill Out and Touch the lives of others Jesus called us the light of the world in Matthew 5:14 a light that cannot be hidden our time with God fuels that light empowering us to shine brightly in a dark world

when we walk in the Overflow we become ambassadors of his love hope and Truth drawing others to him also walking in the Overflow of God's presence deepens our intimacy with him the more time we spend with God the more we come to know his heart and experience his love in John 15:5 Jesus said I am the vine you are the branches he who abides in me and I in him Bears much fruit for without me you can do nothing this abiding relationship is the source of our strength joy and purpose it is through this connection

that we bear fruit that lasts glorifying God and fulfilling his plans for our lives let us my dear friends commit to walking in the Overflow of God's presence as we make time for him daily we will see his transformative power at work in and and through us the blessings of his presence are abundant and everlasting a Wellspring that never runs dry now to all those within the sound of my voice let us go to the Lord in prayer I want you to pray this prayer with me or listen to this prayer in faith so that

you can have all the blessings of this prayer let us pray to our gracious and loving God heavenly father almighty God you are the source of life and the Fountain of Every Blessing Your Glory fills the heavens and your majesty is beyond all understanding I thank you for the gift of each day and for your mercies that are new every morning I am grateful for your faithfulness that sustains me and your love that never fails merciful father I come before you confessing my sins and asking for your forgiveness cleanse my heart and make me whole

I also forgive those who have wronged me releasing them into your hands as you have commanded give me a heart that longs for your presence and a mind that is stayed on you I rebuke every Spirit distract ction and complacency in the name of Jesus and I bind every force that seeks to pull me away from you declaring that my time my focus and my heart Belong to You alone fill me with a thirst for your word a love for your presence and a passion for prayer guide my steps Lord and help me to align

my priorities with your perfect will father I claim victory over every attempt of the enemy to hinder my spiritual growth I rebuke fear doubt and every attack on my faith declaring that no weapon formed against me shall prosper let your peace which surpasses all understanding guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus I ask for your blessings to overflow in my life and the lives of my loved ones Mighty God protect me and my family from every attack of the enemy whether physical emotional or spiritual bring healing where there is sickness or disease restoration where

there is Brokenness and provision where there is lack Shield us under your wings and surround us with your unfailing love heavenly father as I say this prayer together with everyone listening I am grateful for every heart that is opening before you right now we come in agreement as we pray for each other lifting our voices in unity let your holy spirit guide us strengthen us and Empower us to live lives that honor you in the name of Jesus we declare healing restoration and victory in every area of Our Lives we thank you for the protection
