I am challenging you to a 75 Hard, except it's YouTube, and you are going to get paid for it! The concept of 75 Hard, you see it everywhere online. It's like a 45-minute workout inside, a 45-minute workout outside, um, 10 pages of a personal development book.
. . What else is it?
Drnking water? I don't know all the rules. I see all the people on TikTok saying, "I'm starting my 75 Hard challenge.
" They have the sticky notes on the wall, taking their "day one," "day two," "day three" off the wall as they go. Like, okay, cool, great! I'm going to do a 75 Hard, basically on this channel, and I'm inviting you to join me.
I'm five—I don't even know—five days in on this channel now, and on this channel, I'm just talking, sharing my thoughts, sharing my ideas with you guys, and I'm challenging you to do it too. If you have a phone, you don't have an excuse. That's all you need.
You don't need a camera, you don't need lights, you don't need a microphone. You just need an idea! You don't even need to edit it; you don't need to make a thumbnail; you don't need to do anything.
Imagine if that 75 days changed your life! Or nothing happened, but like, what if it did? Like, I love the simple quote—uh, wait, what is it?
It's from Amber Shaw, I think. It’s like, "What if it doesn't happen? But what if it does?
" I'll put it on the screen. It's so simple. It's just like the video I made about how your fear of looking stupid is holding you back.
Like, what if you tried to do something for an extended period of time consistently? It takes you 20 minutes a day, if that, and it literally creates a new income stream for you. Like, what if that happened?
That would be great, right? So, for myself, my rules for my 75 Hard are: I just have to post one long-form video a day, talking—low edit—in just a chill, just a chill me-talking video. No crazy editing!
On my main channel, I edit my videos like crazy. This is like zero editing for me. I mean, obviously, I'm doing little cuts here and there, but I don't want this to be stressful.
I'm going to just post every day. I invite you to try doing the same with me—bonus if I can make shorts on here. I'm definitely going to be posting in my community tab.
I love to post inspirational quotes just to try and inspire you guys, but that's not going to be my focus. Literally, the parameters of this challenge for myself are just posting one long-form video every single day, sharing my mind, talking about whatever I want to talk about. That's it!
It’s just like hopping on a FaceTime call with your friend. You could do that. You're probably going to do that anyway.
You're probably going to spend ten minutes watching a Netflix show later, so why can't you reroute that ten minutes into something that could potentially really benefit you or potentially really benefit your audience? Like, you can make a beautiful connection with a whole new community of people. You could find joy in filming or creating content, or find people that think the same way you do.
There are just so many benefits to YouTube! It's super interesting. Maybe one day you'll connect with a brand you like to work with or start getting paid from AdSense.
Maybe you'll create a new income stream. So yeah, 75 Hard—75 Hard, except it's the YouTube edition. Um, I also have made a goal for myself to try and monetize this channel in 30 days.
I don't know; we'll see how that goes. I mean, it's just up to the algorithm. The algorithm has been picking up stuff, though, just a little bit, which is interesting and cool.
But yeah, this is just a fun experiment! You never know what could happen. I mean, obviously, you could set whatever goals you want for yourself and think whatever you think you can handle, but like, imagine if you did a long-form and a short-form!
Your channel could take off. YouTube loves consistency; the algorithm loves consistency. I have noticed the algorithm has been in my favor when I have been consistent on my other channel.
It's real, and it's also something to take into consideration. Every issue you have with the word "algorithm"—the algorithm doesn't like my video—replace that with "audience. " The audience doesn't like your video.
Okay? The algorithm isn't pushing your video because the audience isn't clicking, staying, watching, giving them your time, giving the platform watch time. So, what does an audience like?
An audience wants you to show up for them; they like you to show up for them! So, that's why this 75 Hard for YouTube can be so beneficial. So, I wish I could put a long-term video out on my main channel every day.
Oh my God, it could literally change the nature of it! So, if you're doing this or planning on doing this style of video with me, comment down below. I want to see your guys' journey too; it's super interesting!
So, start right now! Like, literally after this video, if you can, if it’s not like the middle of the night and your family's sleeping, go record your video! Go sit in your car, set your phone on your dashboard, and just say your thoughts.
Just hit record; don't think about it. Hit upload!
