the world is changing rapidly and the transformation we are witnessing isn't just a shift in culture or politics it's a profound spiritual shift people are becoming more and more like the Individuals described in the Bible's depiction of the last days as we enter 2025 it is impossible to ignore how Society is morphing into what the scriptures have long warned us about the selfishness Pride greed and godlessness are more apparent than ever and it's as if humanity is acceler ating toward the reality foretold in 2 Timothy 3: 1:5 the God of this world Satan is actively
at work blinding the minds of many leading them down Paths of Destruction we are seeing the signs everywhere people are lovers of themselves more consumed with their own desires than ever before they chase money Fame and power with Reckless abandon while disregarding their relationship with God and NE necting the needs of others this is not a distant future the transformation is happening right now and it's terrifying you can feel it in the air see it in the headlines and witness it in the everyday interactions of those around you the culture of me first is replacing
the love and compassion that once held communities together people are becoming more disobedient rebellious and Unholy families are fracturing as children turn against parents parents and dishonor becomes the norm the things that once shocked us things like immorality blasphemy and violence have become commonplace we are living in a world where evil is celebrated and what is good is despised this will only intensify in 2025 look at the blasphemy displayed this year in the Paris Olympics the organizers had the opportunity to showcase the best of humanity our dedication hard work and unity instead they chose to
mock one of the most sacred events in Christian history The Last Supper of our Lord Jesus Christ this act was not just an affront to Christians but a glaring indicator of the moral state of our world the ceremony filled with Blasphemous and satanic imagery was a deliberate Choice out of all the themes and Inspirations available they chose to mock the sacred and blaspheme the holy this is a clear sign that we are living in the last days where the imagination of the thoughts of man's heart is only evil continually there was no need for such
mockery while some of it may be attributed to the influence of the devil what we witnessed also reveals the depth of sin in our generation the Bible in 2 Timothy 3 warns that in the last days people will be blasphemers have you ever witnessed a more Blasphemous act than this to take an event so sacred to the Christian faith and intertwine it with sin and immorality is shocking out of all the things they could have done they chose to desecrate something so holy the God of this world will continue to Blind the minds of those
who refuse to acknowledge the truth of God's word his influence is spreading and Society is being shaped by forces that oppose God's kingdom we see people more hostile to the faith more eager to indulge in their own pleasures and more dismissive of the warnings laid out in the Bible this blindness is not just ignorance it's a deliberate choice to reject the truth in favor of Lies Satan is working tirelessly leading many to believe that they can live however they want without consequence but the word of God is clear this trajectory will only lead to destruction
as we approach the future it is critical to recognize these changes for what they are the unfolding of Prophecy the world is moving toward a climax and the characteristics of the last days are becoming more evident with each passing year do not be deceived this is spiritual warfare and the battle for Souls is intensifying the world we are living in is being reshaped but not for the better it is being conformed to the pattern of the God of this world and only those who stand firm in their faith will be able to resist stay vigilant
because 2025 will bring even more of these shifts and we must be prepared to stand against the Darkness 2 Timothy 3 verses 1 to3 this know also that in the last days perilous times shall come for men shall be lovers of their own selves Covetous boasters proud blasphemers disobedient to parents unthankful Unholy without natural affection truce Breakers false accusers incontinent Fierce despisers of those that are good traitors heady high-minded lovers of Pleasures more than lovers of God having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof from such turn away a total of 19 different
characteristics are highlighted in these verses today we will be focusing on only three one lovers of their own selves in the year 2025 a significant societal transformation becomes increasingly evident the rise of self-love and individualism to an extreme degree this development as foretold by Apostle Paul indicates a time when people will be predominantly focused on themselves placing their needs and desires above all else this shift towards extreme self-love represents a move away from the values of compassion community and selflessness the concept of being lovers of oneself in this context goes beyond the healthy self-esteem or
self-care that is necessary for personal well-being it delves into a deeper more problematic form of self-absorption where individuals view themselves as the epicenter of their world the attitude can be summarized as me me and more me the whole world revolves around me I am the main character at all times me me and more me were the needs desires and Ambitions of the individual overshadow consideration for others including those closest to them this trend manifests in various aspects of daily life and how we see selfishness in today's society you see mothers who are selfish how on
Earth can you be a mother and be selfish you see husbands who are selfish how on Earth can you be a husband and be selfish the this increasing self-centeredness runs contrary to the teachings of the Holy Bible in the Bible Jesus Christ exemplified and taught the importance of loving others as oneself the parable of the Good Samaritan where a man shows compassion and care for a stranger in need starkly contrasts with the behavior of the priest and the levite who despite their religious standing chose to prioritize their interests over helping a suffering individual the essence
of this Parable and indeed much of Christ teachings is the call to step outside of oneself to exhibit empathy kindness and love for your neighbor these values are becoming increasingly rare in a world where the culture of me first is gaining ground in such a world acts of selflessness generosity and genuine concern for others are not the norm but the exception now selfishness is one of the big problems we face and it will intensify in the coming years I could ask all of you right now very personal questions and ask you do you have any
problems in your life and most people would say yes and if I asked what caused these problems the answer would be somebody was selfish selfishness is at the root of our sins when Satan came to Eve he said oh no no no you don't want to listen to God you want to be like God that's selfishness selfishness is why people commit adultery selfish is why people neglect their responsibilities selfishness is why people exploit others selfishness is what causes divorces selfishness is why people are ignorant of the plight of others selfishness is why people spread rumors
selfishness is what causes people to betray others selfishness is the root of our sins and selfishness is at the root of all of our difficulties and selfishness is what keeps us from enjoying life and selfishness is what makes makes us wrap ourselves up in a little package and protect ourselves insulate ourselves and isolate ourselves and do you want to know how you get rid of selfishness just keep reminding yourself I'm going to heaven one day I'm going to be in glory one of these days I'm going to see the Lord one of these days I'm
going to walk through the gates of the city of Heaven whose Builder and maker is God one day I'm going to see New Jerusalem coming down from heaven like a bride adorned by her husband one one day I am going to be with the king one day I am going to be with my Lord one day this life that I am living will be a distant memory living with the thought of Heaven at the Forefront of your mind will stop you from living a selfish self-centered life unfortunately the trajectory of society in the coming years
is that more and more people will be lovers of their own selves don't allow this trend to happen to you focus on heaven number two lovers of money in 2025 a profound shift in societal values will continue to emerge with the pursuit of wealth becoming a primary focus for many across the globe this year marks a significant turning point where the majority of people driven by various socioeconomic factors increasingly prioritize financial gain over other aspects of Life the Relentless Chase for riches and the Allure of opulence dominate the collective consciousness of this age pushing many
to redefine success solely in terms of monetary wealth the generation you and I are living in and will see in 2025 is one where people see money as a god rather than a tool they can use and utilize however this shift brings with it a cautionary tale money an essential tool for trade and a means to an end is not inherently evil it's the Love of Money the insatiable desire to amass wealth at any cost that becomes a perilous path the Bible in 1 Timothy 610 warns of this stating For the Love of Money is
a root of all kinds of evil for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness and pierc themselves through with many Sorrows this scripture captures the essence of the problem facing the world in 2025 as people become more obsessed with acquiring wealth they risk losing sight of their moral compass potentially leading to destructive behaviors and strained relationships the unbridled pursuit of wealth can lead to dire consequences in extreme cases it pushes individuals to commit heinous acts including fraud betrayal violence and even selling their very Souls as they seek to gain financial advantage over
others the Quest for easy riches tempts many to engage in unethical practices disregarding the long-term impact on their their character and the well-being of those around them amidst this growing obsession with wealth the biblical call for contentment becomes increasingly relevant Hebrews 13:5 advises let your conduct be without covetousness be content with such things as you have for he himself has said I will never leave you nor forsake you this verse serves as a reminder of the importance of finding satisfaction in what one already possesses and recognizing the steadfast presence of God in our lives contentment
as encouraged by the scriptures is not about complacency but about finding peace and fulfillment in the present irrespective of one's financial status being wealthy is not condemned rather it's the misplaced priorities that are problematic hard work entrepreneurship and financial success are commendable and often encouraged in the Bible the issue arises when the pursuit of wealth overshadows one's spiritual and moral values Mark 8:36 poses a critical question for what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul this verse succinctly encapsulates the danger of allowing the love of
money to supersede one's spiritual wellbeing and moral standards in 2025 as people increasingly chase after riches the challenge is to maintain a balance where financial success does not become the sole determinant of one's Worth or happiness it calls for a re-evaluation of priorities where wealth is seen as a tool for good and not an end in itself the pursuit of riches should be tempered with the pursuit of Virtues like kindness generosity and integrity the true richness lies not in the accumulation of wealth but in the richness of character and the depth of one 's relationship
with God and fellow human beings as this year unfolds it becomes imperative to heed the Timeless wisdom of the scriptures to find joy and simplicity to seek fulfillment in relationships and experiences and to remember that our true value lies not in our possessions but in our hearts and actions number three unthankful there is a growing sense of ingratitude this shift is contrary to the biblical exhortation to Express gratitude in all circumstances as outlined in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 in everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you the call to
thankfulness is a fundamental aspect of the Christian Life reflecting a deep recognition of God's presence and blessings regardless of the situation one of the most overlooked signs of the end times is unthankfulness while many focus on the more obvious and outward sins mentioned in 2 Timothy 31:5 unthankfulness is quietly undermining the moral and spiritual Foundation of society today we can see this in the increasing sense of entitlement where people often take blessings for granted and fail to Express gratitude it's a subtle yet powerful indicator of the spiritual decline in our world and it's a sign
that we are indeed living in perilous times I saw a clear example of this unthankfulness when I was speaking to a relative of mine in Europe he lives in England and went on to explain how a professional soccer player from Manchester city was complaining about having played too many games in a year around 60 to 70 games I was shocked because he then explained that this player earns £220,000 per week which is about $285,600 per week not per month not per year but per week and yet this person was still complaining when you consider the
world we are living in there are people working 80 hours a week in backbreaking jobs who don't even make a fraction of what this player earns it's a stark reminder of the growing unthankfulness in society where people don't see or appreciate how they have been blessed in modern society there's a growing sense of entitlement people expect things to be handed to them without working for them or Worse without acknowledging The Giver whether that be others or God this attitude is evident in the rise of phrases like I deserve this or I'm owed this which reflect
a complete lack of gratitude people expect blessings success or material possessions without feeling the need to thank God or others for them there's also a diminishing recognition of God's role in people's lives many no longer thank God for the small things like Health daily sustenance or protection in fact God is often completely IGN Ed in people's lives even as they enjoy his blessings As Romans 1:21 says for although they knew God they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him but their thinking became feudal and their foolish Hearts were darkened this ingratitude toward
God reflects the growing spiritual rebellion of the last days unthankfulness may seem like a small sin compared to others but it's a clear indicator of the pride and self-centeredness that permeates our world world today it's essential to recognize how dangerous this attitude can be as it blinds people to God's goodness and leaves them ungrateful for his grace in these last days we must combat the spirit of unthankfulness by cultivating a heart of gratitude and remembering to thank God daily for His blessings both big and small the story of the 10 lepers in the Bible where
only one returned to Express gratitude to Jesus after being healed underscores the Rarity and importance of a thankful heart Jesus commended the one who returned for his thankfulness highlighting a virtue that is pleasing to God however in this era and I'm sure in 2025 this virtue will continue to diminish rapidly God is the one who woke you up today be thankful God is the one who is in control of the ticking of your heart be thankful God is the one who gives you the very air you breathe be thankful God is the one who provides
for your daily needs be thankful God is the one who gives you every smile in your life God is the one who gives you every good day you have ever experienced and we human beings forget how fragile we are how desperately we need the loving kindness of God we forget that each day is a gift from God he is a good god he is a gracious God he is tender and loving be thankful and refuse to be an unthankful individual yet we are living in a world that has a sense of entitlement the world does
not owe you anything but we live in a generation of ungrateful and selfish people who believe the world and everyone around them owes them something the world is increasingly filled with voices of dissatisfaction and complaint despite the Abundant Blessings many have received there is a pervasive sense of entitlement and a focus on what is lacking rather than what has been provided this attitude of unthankfulness is not just limited to personal lives but is reflected in broader societal interactions where the focus often lies on problems rather than Solutions on deficits rather than assets the Bible's instruction
in Philippians 46 be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God is a powerful antidote to this growing ungratefulness it encourages Believers to approach god with a heart of gratitude transforming anxiety and worry into a celebration of God's faithfulness this posture of thankfulness in prayer is not only an act of worship but also a powerful tool in maintaining a positive perspective even in challenging circumstances the decline in gratitude can be attributed to various factors such as the fast-paced and consumer-driven nature of Modern Life
where instant gratification often takes precedence over appreciating what one already has Additionally the constant exposure to social media and the tendency to compare one life with others can foster a sense of dissatisfaction and ungratefulness in response to this trend it is crucial for individuals especially Christians to intentionally cultivate a spirit of thankfulness this involves regularly reflecting on the blessings in one's life acknowledging both the big and small ways in which God provides and sustains
