Bless Your Day With This Powerful Morning Prayer | God's Protection, Grace and Mercy

[Music] the Bible presents us with the story of two gardens the Garden of Eden and The Garden of Gethsemane Adam and Eve disobeyed God's will in the Garden of Eden however in the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus said nevertheless not as I will but as you will isn't it interesting that there is this huge contrast between what took place in the Garden of Eden and what took place in the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus offers us the greatest lesson of obedience In The Garden of Gethsemane whereas we can learn about the painful consequences of Disobedience when we

look at Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden in that first Garden Adam and Eve listened to a voice they had no business listening to and as a result they took a fall they fell into sin they fell into Disobedience but in the second Garden Jesus Took a stand he set his own feelings aside and he obeyed the voice of God the Father you see Genesis 3:9 says then the Lord God Called to Adam and said to him where are you think of that because of sin in the first Garden God sought Adam however

in the second Garden Jesus sought God he left the disciples to go and seek God Almighty Matthew 26:39 says he went a little farther and fell on his face and prayed saying oh my father if it is possible let this cup pass from me nevertheless not as I will but as you will and really pay attention to the contrasting events that happened between the two gardens in Eden Adam hid from God in Gethsemane Jesus made himself fully available to God in Eden the devil deceived Adam and Eve to a tree that led to their spiritual

death but oh in Gethsemane our lord Jesus began that journey of Love pain and sacrifice that ended on the cross but led us to eternal life now these two guard are symbolic of a state of living for each and every one of us we all have choices we all have a measure of control when it comes to how we live and what we do each day and what I'm trying to put across to you or rather what I'm trying to demonstrate is that when it comes to your spiritual life you're either living like Adam and

Eve in the Garden of Eden where you believe the lies of the enemy you act on those lies and you disobey God it's a state where one lives in sin and hides from the presence of God because of their shame or you're living like Jesus in The Garden of Gethsemane sacrificial living your will God and not my will that type of living where it's all about God you may be sorrowful and troubled at times but you still choose to obey God you may be overwhelmed but you still choose to obey God and I want to

encourage you today friends be like Christ separate yourself from others and seek the face of the Lord in prayer seek to be willing and obedient as for me well I've decided that I will trust I will praise I will pray and I will worship Jesus Christ today and forever I'll give my all I won't hold any back I will be loyal and wholly devoted to Jesus Christ I'm not waiting for a convention I'm not waiting for the blessing or the miracle I'm trusting the Lord today you see tomorrow is not promised today while I still

have breath in my lungs and strength in my bones I will put my trust in Jesus I'll commit my ways to him as long as I'm living as long as I have a voice I will declare that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior today I boldly declare that I will I will I will put my faith only in Jesus Christ no one else could rescue me no one else could offer me help but Jesus so I'll call on the name of Jesus Christ today I'll call on his name tomorrow and every day after that

whether I'm on the Mountaintop or I am deep in the valley I will call on Jesus Christ he is always faithful and so with this understanding let us go to God In Prayer dear God You Are Holy and Majestic in all your ways in the Garden of Gethsemane Lord Jesus your words were my father if it is possible may this cup be taken from me yet not as I will but as you will and my father I pray that when I encounter moments situations or events that leave me in a troubled state may I remember

to trust and lean on you may I remember to act with your will as my motive and not my own selfish desires Lord Jesus you could have preserved yourself you could have spared yourself the agony and pain that you endured on Calvary but yet you chose out of love out of your great mercy and out of obedience to sacrifice yourself so that we who were lost could be saved all glory and praise be to you King Jesus Philippians 2:8 says and being found in appearance as a man he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death

even death on a cross God I thank you for that extraordinary kind of love Lord Jesus I thank you for your sacrifice help us in our lives so that we might be obedient to your voice to your will to your way you King Jesus became flesh and you led by example showing us that it is possible to live a Godly life so Lord right now I ask you to help me to be more like you change me from the inside out so that I may seek first the kingdom of God father I'm amazed and I'm

forever in your dead when I think that because of your love for us you were mocked and beaten your head was pierced with a crown of thorns you were wounded and nailed to the cross all so that we could declare first Peter 2 verse 24 he himself bore our sins in his body on the cross so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness by his wounds you have been healed because of you my Lord I can say with confidence and with gratitude he was wounded for my transgressions he was bruised for my

iniquities the chastisement for for my peace was upon him and by his stripes I am healed father I am empowered by not only your word but by your love because it was your love that led you to save and Deliver Me from sin while I was yet a sinner you didn't hesitate to give your life for me so Jesus I look to you and I'm lost for words all I can say is thank you all I can do is worship you Lord you're perfect and righteous and even though you were blameless you still reduced yourself

to man so that I would not be lost Lord You're the way the truth and the life it's by and through your sacrifice that I can be delivered it's by and through your sacrifice that I can experience real Joy real Peace and Freedom Lord help me to carry my cross daily help me to reach out to you for help for strength for guidance your word in Matthew 10:38 says and he who does not take his cross and follow after me is not worthy of me so Lord I ask you give me the strength to take

up my own cross and chase after you Lord give me the strength to look unto you the author and the finisher of my faith the one who knows both the known and the unknown father I thank you for receiving me and I thank you for hearing this prayer it's in the precious name of Jesus Christ that we pray and give thanks amen now the reason why it's so important to put God first each and every day because there's so many competing forces and factors all around us as you go through your day are you mindful

that you're exposed to so much worldliness and so much spiritual corruption and material that works to pull you away from God with this in mind my message to you today is inspired by the words found in Psalm 113: 2-3 let the name of the Lord be praised both now and forever more from the rising of the Sun to the place where it sets the name of the Lord is to be praised we need to have hearts filled with praise praise attracts the presence of God praise magnifies the Lord not your situation when you constantly praise

the Lord you are saying I'd rather be in your presence Lord Jesus than to be outside and enjoying the pleasures of the world I would rather my heart and mind be focused on you Jesus rather than the distractions offered by the world so fight to praise God in your heart and in your mind at every given opportunity fight to find something a moment an opportunity to speak to him once more to sing praises to Him that way you're always in tune you develop a habit of always speaking to Jesus anywhere and everywhere now I would

like to highlight Psalm 145 a chapter of Praise verse 1-8 says I will exalt you my God the king I will praise your name Forever and Ever every day I will praise you and exall your name forever and ever great is the Lord and most worthy of Praise His his greatness no one can fathom one generation commends your Works to another they tell of your Mighty acts they speak of the Glorious Splendor of your majesty and I will meditate on your wonderful Works they will tell of the power of your awesome works and I will

Proclaim your great Deeds they celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing your righteousness the Lord is gracious and compassionate slow to anger and rich in love the Lord is good to all he has compassion on all he has made all your works praise you lord your faithful people extol you they tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might so that all people may know of your Mighty acts and the Glorious Splendor of your kingdom your kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom and your Dominion endures through all generations the Lord is trustworthy in

all he promises and faithful in all he does the Lord upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down the eyes of all look to you and you give them their food at the proper time you open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing the Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does the Lord is near to all who call on him to all who call on him in truth we can't always change our circumstances but we can change our attitude and our Outlook we

can choose to feed our spirit with God's word and reject the spirit of fear so wherever you're at right now you are not there by accident God has placed you where you are the fight you face the battle you're in it all has a purpose in the fullness of his timing the Lord will make a way for you let us pray King Jesus the almighty one teach us to be more trusting help us to build our faith May the Holy Ghost teach us and remind us that the troubles we Face serve a purpose the pain

that we feel the people who reject us can all be a blessing in disguise the tough situations and trials we go through can be the Lord ordering our steps positioning us for increase for healing for breakthrough dear Lord we come before you today offering up our praise and worship at your Holy Name fill our hearts with an intense and burning desire to earnestly seek you day and night Lord fill us with your love and joy give us hearts that are committed to praise and worship you I declare your word in Psalm 103 verse 1- 2

praise the Lord my soul all my inmost being praise His holy name praise the Lord my soul and forget not all his benefits I praise you because you are a God who forgives all of our iniquities I pray praise you because you are a God who heals restores and makes us whole again I praise you because you are a God who has saved us from destruction and shown us loving kindness and Tender Mercies I will bless your holy name as long as I live I will lift up my hands and praise Only You Lord Jesus

Holy Spirit help us to have hearts and love lips that are filled with praise so that when things are good I will bless the Lord with all my soul and all that is within me I will praise His holy name and when life is challenging or difficult I will still bless the Lord with all my soul and all that is within me I will praise His holy name I Praise You Lord Jesus because you are the one who can quench my thirsty Soul you are the one who Faithfully loves me you are the lifegiver you

alone are the one who can revive my soul and refresh my spirit it is in your presence that I am made whole I praise you because of your abundant and unfailing mercies for as long as I am alive I will lift up my heart voice and hands to worship you father as the deer pants for streams of water so my soul pants for you my God my soul thirsts for God for the Living God only your presence Lord Jesus can bring transformation into our lives only your presence can revive and refresh us father rekindle our

flame for you so that we can have a strong desire to chase Holiness and live righteously I invite your presence Lord to remove all of the turmoil and fear around us may your love and mercy Reign be our Sanctuary Lord our place of safety and refuge your word in John 7:3 8 says he who believes in me as the scripture has said out of his heart will flow rivers of Living Water Lord I pray that you would touch our lives in such a mighty way that rivers of Living Water will flow continually from our innermost

with you con concerning God's leading hand over our lives and make no mistake about it there is a need in each of Our Lives for God to lead us because if you are not led by the Lord if you aren't governed by his word then one of three things will lead you the World the Flesh or the devil this is why it's so important to always seek the counsel of God through prayer and his word now Psalm 37: 23- 24 says the Lord directs the steps of The Godly he Delights in every detail of their

lives though they may stumble they will never fail for the Lord holds them by the hand and if you read Proverbs 16:9 the Bible says the heart of man plans his way but the Lord establishes his steps Proverbs 20: 24 a person's steps are directed by the Lord how then can anyone understand their own way and finally Psalm 119: 105 says your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path dear listener it's a wise thing to ask God for direction before you make a decision take a moment and ask the

Lord is this what you want from me is this what you are calling me to do and I've often found that although you may not hear an audible answer from God at times if it is his will there will be a peace in your heart concerning that issue and so as you listen for the next few moments pray that you would be sensitive to God's voice pray that your first instinct is to always seek direction from the Lord because if we fail to seek direction from God then we are walking in darkness but remember this

always Jesus Christ is the light of Our Lives he is the light that guides us and shows us the way faith is believing that God will honor and execute his word in your hour of need to have faith is to trust in the almighty God and believe that he will come through for you in all circumstances Faith becomes more defined refined and strengthened in difficult circumstances however this is no reason to be fearful because you don't need Faith the size of Noah's Ark in his teaching on faith Jesus requires us to have faith as small

as a mustard seed in Matthew 17:2 the Bible says he said to them because of your little faith for truly I say to you if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed you will say to this mountain move from here to there and it will move and nothing will be impossible for you if you feel as though your faith is inadequate remember these two things your only requirement is to have faith that the size of a mustard seed and to look to Jesus Christ in all situations it takes Faith to receive Jesus Christ

as your lord and savior and so each one of us has a Measure of Faith to begin with the growth or increase in faith however is a personal responsibility Romans 10:17 says so then faith comes by he hearing and hearing by the word of God the food that feeds faith is the word of God so in the midst of whatever you are going through the word of God will strengthen your faith regardless of how deep the waters are or how big the giant is first John 5:5 reads who is the one who is Victorious and

overcomes the world it is the one who believes and recognizes the fact that Jesus is the son of God so be encouraged by the word of the Lord and have faith in the one who speaks and the wind obeys have faith in the one who speaks and creates have faith in the one whose breath has eternal life have faith in the one who has broken the the grip of death have faith in Jesus dear Lord you say in your word in Isaiah 41:10 fear not for I am with you be not dismayed for I am

your God I will strengthen you yes I will help you I will uphold you with my righteous right hand you have provided such a beautiful and comforting Assurance to me at times when I am attacked by doubts and the spirit of fear from the enemy help me to have faith in your word your word that is a present reminder that you are with me and you are in control your word reassures me and guides me especially in moments when my faith is tested for this I am grateful I bow before you today I set my

heart in your hands and I humbly ask for your presence to surround me Lord my hope is in you because you have promised me in your word that you will strengthen me and help me you will uphold Me with Your Righteous right hand father I am seeking an increase of faith Faith to sustain me a long life's journey I acknowledge you Lord Jesus as my personal savior I acknowledge that you are the way the truth and the life I know that you are God I know that you are all powerful I know that you are

in control and so when my faith is weak oh Lord give me strength I pray that I would draw strength from your word may your joy give me strength I commit myself and my desires to you help me never to forget to whom I belong as soon as I encounter a challenge or feel overwhelmed I pray that the holy spirit will remind me that I have Victory in Jesus Christ Heavenly Father strengthen my faith today Matthew 17:20 says so Jesus said to them because of your unbelief for assuredly I say to you if you have

faith as a mustard seed you will say to this mountain move from here to there and it will move and nothing will be impossible for you strengthen my faith Lord give me the kind of faith that not only changes my life life but the lives of those closest to me as I face the mountains of life in different shapes and sizes I believe in the promise of your word I pray that I might have the kind of faith that can move mountains the mountains of doubt in my life or the mountains of sinful generational Cycles

whatever it is that is hindering me Lord build my faith strengthen my faith so that I can walk in Victory father God I pray that you will enable me to have the kind of faith that looks beyond my problems and sees that there is Victory and Triumph in Christ I pray that my reality may be your word help me to walk by faith and not by sight when job lost everything he was able to say in job 13 verse 15 though he slay me yet will I trust in him Mighty God this is the level

of faith that I want the type of faith that understands that even in pain and sorrow you are still in control and your love for me is still great help me Lord so that I can be able to live by faith and please you despite the temptation to give up and to surrender to my weakness remind me that you are the way the truth and the life when Daniel was confronted with the threat of lions he had true faith in your power you acted on his faith in you and Daniel was unharmed you are the

same Mighty and Powerful God who can deliver me from my own Den of Lions I commit my ways to you Empower me to stand in faith and face the Lions before me your word in 1 John 4:4 assures me when it says you are of God little children and have overcome them because he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world I declare this to be true in my life greater is he that is in me than he who is in the world I believe and accept that I am your

child you will never leave me or forsake me no matter how overwhelming my trials may seem you are greater and more power power ful than anything Lord I want to live for you I want to live a life of Faith because without faith it is impossible to please you so I ask that you would strengthen my faith in you help me to fearlessly put my trust in you I thank you for hearing my prayer in the name of Jesus Christ I pray amen amen people of God I want to ask you something when was the

last time you publicly acknowledged Jesus Christ as your lord and savior now it may have been to a coworker that you see every day or to someone you just met and struck up a conversation with but overall I believe that every single one of us during the course of Our Lives we will have at least one opportunity to publicly declare what we believe and who we believe in the Bible says in Matthew 10:32 therefore whoever confesses me before men him I will also confess before my father who is in heaven now I don't know about

you Saints but here's my confession I believe in Jesus Christ I believe that he is the way the truth and the life and no one can get to the father except through Jesus I believe he is the bread of life he is the one who can sustain us I believe that Jesus Christ is the prince of peace and in him you will find peace beyond all human understanding I believe Jesus Christ is the light of the world and the Good Shepherd I believe he was a Healer and a miracle worker when he walked here on

this Earth and I also believe that he is still able to do the impossible even today I believe he died on a cross for our sins for my sins and I believe that he rose back to life after 3 days and descended on high and right now he is Seated on the right side of the father listen to me in the name of Jesus there is is power Jesus Christ is the name above every other name he is the author and the finisher of our faith he is the Risen one the almighty one when we

speak that name the mighty name of Jesus Christ every sickness has to Bow every disease has to leave every chain has to loose and so here is my word to you as Believers we should not be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ we should never compromise the word of God so that we can fit into this world we should not be ashamed of the gospel because the devil in the world oh they are aggressively spreading a message of deception the devil in this world is aggressively trying to lead people away from the saving Gospel

of Jesus Christ and so it's time that we as Believers of Jesus Christ it's time for us to stand up and to declare to the world that there is a savior there is someone who can set you free if you're bound there is a redeemer and his name is Jesus Christ Saints we should not be ashamed of the Gospel but as Christians we must stand up and fight for the gospel we must rise up as Sons and Daughters of the most high and Proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord Hebrews 12: 2 reads looking unto Jesus

the author and finisher of our faith who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross despising the shame and has sat down at the right hand of the Throne of God we should always have our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ he's the only one Worthy worthy of our devotion he's the only one worthy of our worship Jesus Christ is the only one worthy of our praise and our adoration he's the only one who should be right at the center right at the top of our priorities and I want to encourage you today

to pray with more intensity have a deeper hunger for God I encourage you to seek and Chase the presence of God with an urgence in the Book of Matthew 16:4 then Jesus said to his disciples whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me now let me ask you do you have the desire to follow Jesus Christ do you have a willingness to deny yourself of the temporary pleasures of this world I urge you to examine your heart and ask yourself am I willing to take up my

cross and follow Jesus now the cross was never meant to symbolize something easy or simple it symbolizes a place of pain a place of purging or Affliction but it also symbolizes salvation and hope it symbolizes the love of Jesus and the power of his blood the cross is symbolic of a place where flesh dies where sin is defeated and Jesus Christ wins and so we need to be mindful of the words of Jesus deny yourself take up your cross and follow Jesus Now 1 Timothy 4:8 says for bodily exercise profits a little but godliness is

profitable for all things having promis of the life that now is and of that which is to come A True Believer of Jesus Christ will strive to live a Godly life a True Believer in Jesus Christ exercises practical faith meaning that they walk by faith and not by sight and Faith doesn't mean you ignore facts no faith means that you trust in God the despite what the facts say A True Believer in Jesus Christ perseveres in prayer because prayer to a Christian is like blood to the body that's our Lifeline that's why the Bible tells

us to pray always and to pray without ceasing now let us come together in prayer Lord Jesus we give you praise and we thank you for the the perfect work that you accomplished on the cross Lord you hung on that cross for our sins you were blameless yet our sins were nailed on that cross with you Lord Jesus how could we ever thank you enough words fail me there are no words to thank you King Jesus for that price that you paid on the cross for me the Bible says in Isaiah 53: 3-5 he was

despised and rejected by mankind a man of suffering and familiar with pain like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised and we held him in low esteem surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering yet we considered him punished by God stricken by him and Afflicted but he was pierced for our transgressions he was crushed for our iniquities the punishment that brought us peace was on him and by his wounds we are healed Lord Jesus in agreement with everyone listening We Praise You Lord we adore you and we worship you

because you Lord were the one who was hurt you were the one who suffered because of our sins you were wounded for our wrongdoing Jesus you endured incredible pain for us and the blood that you shed was for our healing that blood that you shed is for our healing right now Lord I Thank you for the blood I thank you for the blood that you shed King Jesus so that we could be protected so that our families can be protected so that our children and loved ones can be protected Lord Jesus I thank you for

the blood that covers Us the precious blood that Shields Us from Evil the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 for I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures that he was buried that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the scriptures Lord Jesus we Rejoice because you have risen from the dead Our Savior has defeated death and we serve a living God we Rejoice that you are all powerful we Rejoice that you are a God who can

resurrect and restore Lord Jesus we give you all the glory all the praise and all the honor I call on your name King Jesus to be our rescue be our Banner of Hope Lord you are the reason why we are more than conquerors you Lord Jesus are the reason why no weapon that is formed against us will prosper you Lord are the reason why we cannot be intimidated by the devil in the name of Jesus we refuse to be oppressed suppressed or depressed by the enemy we believe and declare Psalm 20 verse 7 it says

some trust in chariots and some in horses but we trust in the name of the Lord Our God some find their strength in their weapons but we we will trust in you King Jesus some will trust in science some will trust in their own wisdom but oh we will only trust in you Lord Jesus we will boast in your strength and in your might alone your name is above every other name and Lord right now we thank you for hearing this prayer for we speak it in your name and we bless your name yes it's

in control you're actually not as strong as you thought you were you're not as prepared as you thought you were and in fact life tends to come and remind us that we are far more vulnerable than we had ever dreamed and I believe this is why First Corinthians 10:2 it says therefore let the one who thinks he stands firm immune to Temptation being overconfident and self-righteous take care that he does not fall into sin and condemnation and so we need to have some humility in our lives if things are well with you then praise be

to God but don't look down at others who are struggling no one is immune to the Troubles of Life the most prayerful Christian you know has their own personal battles the nicest person you've met that person who always has a smile on their face that person also has their own challenges but dear listener let me tell you this regardless of the burden you're facing regardless of the struggle you're in the Lord has you on his heart God has promised to be with you no matter what happens to you the Lord has said I will never

leave you nor will I forsake you so if you're timid or afraid then take heart the Lord has said he will never leave you if you're ashamed of your sin if you find yourself feeling bad or remorseful repent and take heart God will never leave you if you feel unqualified take heart God will never leave you listen you can rest in this this promise is true today and tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and all the days after that you and I cannot outlive God's mercy we cannot outlive the promises of God they will always

outlive us because his word it stands true forever I want you to understand that the Lord is merciful indeed he's faithful and he's righteous and he's always good he understands our pain and he really wants to lift our burdens the Lord gives us the strength to carry on through those moments when we think we can't so right here in this moment raise your faith reach out to Jesus trust him Embrace him hold on to his word cast your cares on him because he loves you ever so deeply the Bible says in Lamentations 3 verses 22

and 23 the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases his mercies never come to an end they are new every morning great is your faithfulness now life can be Bittersweet at times it's a combination of enjoying the good and pressing through the bad it's a balance between working hard and enjoying the fruits of your labor there's a duality to life smiles and tears defeats and victories love and heartbreak and the thing is all of us go through tough times all of us go through Seasons where it seems as though the odds are stacked against us

and pain well pain becomes a feeling we're all too acquainted with in Psalm 119:71 David said it is good for me that I have been Afflicted that I may learn your statutes you see the Lord is concerned more about our character than our comfort level he cares more about our growth as Believers than the number of blessings we receive I would even say that God is more concerned with the state of our hearts than our happiness I believe that as we go through life and face different trials should we remain in the Lord should we

continue trusting in the mighty name of Jesus Christ should we stand firm and believe God's promises to be true then we will experience what the Bible talks about in James 1: 2 to 4 as the Bible says consider it nothing but joy my brothers and sisters whenever you fall into various trials be assured that the testing of your faith through experience produces endurance leading to spiritual maturity and inner peace and let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work so that you may be perfect and completely developed in your faith lacking in nothing

and so with all this fresh on our hearts and in our minds let us go to the Lord in prayer Lord Jesus thank you for your grace and for your protection God I thank you because your grace surrounds us each and every day and Lord I pray that in those moments where we're weak I pray that you'd strengthen our faith reinforce our faith help us holy spirit so that we would not have hearts that are hardened by sin remove all unbelief from within us help us to believe fully and without reservation in all the promises

of God help me to fearlessly believe Exodus 14:14 it says the Lord will fight for you and you shall hold your peace help us to boldly embrace your word help us to boldly embrace it without doubt help us to declare and to hold on to Isaiah 40 verses 29-31 he gives power to the weak and to those who have no might he increases strength even the youth shall Fain and be weary and the young men shall utterly fall but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength they shall Mount up with wings like

eagles they shall run and not be weary they shall walk and not faint I pray for strong faith so that I may stand up for Jesus Christ and testify how he turned my mourning into dancing give me strong faith Lord so that I may stand on your word in a world that's lost in a world that aims to discourage and to drain hope I pray for the faith that will enable me to live in The Authority that I have been given in Luke 10: 19 it says I have given you authority to trample on snakes

and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy nothing will harm you give us the Faith Lord Jesus to Walk In This Authority as an ambassador of the most high with you by my side I can stand up to the Liv of the enemy with the truth of the Gospel I thank you Lord for your unending love you King Jesus are the Wellspring of our hope so even when life disappoints even when friends abandon I'm grateful that I can always count on you to be my rock and my refuge John 7:38 says whoever

believes in me as scripture has said rivers of Living Water will flow from within them Father May the rivers of living water flow from every part of my life may your living water flow over my heart and soul and fill me with Faith Lord Jesus so long as you are for me I know that nothing can stand against me I will continue to place my faith in you because you're a God who has held me up every time I didn't have the strength to stand on my own you're a God who has calmed the storms

in my life and you've Lifted Me Up High even when I thought I was at Rock Bottom in this world which is like sinking sand you King Jesus are my rock continue to be with me continue to give me the faith to stand firm day by day now I don't know what I'll face tomorrow but I do know that your word tells me to submit to you for you will make my paths straight I know that your word in the book of Isaiah tells me that when I pass through the waters you will be with

me and when I pass through the rivers you will not allow them to sweep over me when I walk through the fire I will not be burned because of you and the Flames will not set me Ablaze in your word I place my confidence for tomorrow in your word I place My Hope and my faith for tomorrow you are the God who knows the number of hairs on my head and you said in your word that I am not to fear because I'm more valuable to you than many sparrows I stand on that word I

rest in that word you will never leave me nor forsake me your plans for me are good father I thank you and I bless your name it's in Jesus name that I pray amen therefore let the one who thinks he stands firm immune to Temptation being overconfident and self-righteous take care that he does not fall into sin and condemnation he gives power to the weak and to those who have no might he increases strength even the youth shall Fain and be weary and the young men shall utterly fall but those who wait on the Lord

shall renew their strength they shall Mount up with wings like eagles they shall run and not be weary they shall walk and not faint I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy nothing will harm [Music] you the Bible presents us with the story of two gardens the Garden of Eden and The Garden of Gethsemane Adam and Eve disobeyed God's will in the Garden of Eden however in the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus said nevertheless not as I will but as you will isn't it interesting

that there is this huge contrast between what took place in the Garden of Eden and what took place in the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus offers us the greatest lesson of obedience In The Garden of Gethsemane whereas we can learn about the painful consequences of Disobedience when we look at Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden in that first Garden Adam and Eve listened to a voice they had no business listening to and as a result they took a fall they fell into sin they fell into Disobedience but in the second Garden Jesus Took a

stand he said his own feelings as side and he obeyed the voice of God the Father you see Genesis 3:9 says then the Lord God Called to Adam and said to him where are you think of that because of sin in the first Garden God sought Adam however in the second Garden Jesus sought God he left the disciples to go and seek God Almighty Matthew 26:39 says he went a little farther and fell on his face and prayed saying oh my father if it is possible let this cup pass from me nevertheless not as I

will but as you will and really pay attention to the contrasting events that happened between the two gardens in Eden Adam hid from God and Geth Jesus made himself fully available to God in Eden the devil deceived Adam and Eve to a tree that led to their spiritual death but oh in Gethsemane our lord Jesus began that journey of Love pain and sacrifice that ended on the cross but led us to eternal life now these two gardens are symbolic of a state of living for each and every one of us we all have choices we

all have a measure of control when it comes to how we live and what we do each day and what I'm trying to put across to you or rather what I'm trying to demonstrate is that when it comes to your spiritual life you're either living like Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden where you believe the lies of the enemy you act on those lies and you disobey God it's a state where one lives in sin and hides from the presence of God because of their shame or you're living like Jesus in The Garden

of Gethsemane sacrificial living your will God and not my will that type of living where it's all about God you may be sorrowful and troubled at times but you still choose to obey God you may be overwhelmed but you still choose to obey God and I want to encourage you today friends be like Christ separate yourself from others and and seek the face of the Lord in prayer seek to be willing and obedient as for me well I've decided that I will trust I will praise I will pray and I will worship Jesus Christ today

and forever I'll give my all I won't hold anything back I will be loyal and wholly devoted to Jes Jesus Christ I'm not waiting for a convention I'm not waiting for the blessing or the miracle I'm trusting the Lord today you see tomorrow is not promised today while I still have breath in my lungs and strength in my bones I will put my trust in Jesus I'll commit my ways to him as long as I'm living as long as I have a voice I will declare that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior today I

boldly declare that I will I will I will put my faith only in Jesus Christ no one else could rescue me no one else could offer me help but Jesus so I'll call on the name of Jesus Christ today I'll call on his name tomorrow and every day after that whether I'm on the Mountaintop or I am deep in the valley I will call on Jesus Christ he is always faithful and so with this understanding let us go to God In Prayer dear God You Are Holy and Majestic in all your ways in the Garden

of Gethsemane Lord Jesus your words were my father if it is possible may this cup be taken from me yet not as I will but as you will and my father I pray that when I encounter moments situations or events that leave me in a troubled state may I remember to trust and lean on you may I remember to act with your will as my motive and not my own selfish desires Lord Jesus you could have preserved yourself you could have spared yourself the agony and pain that you endured on Calvary but yet you chose

out of love out of your great mercy and out of obedience to sacrifice yourself so that we who were lost could be saved all glory and praise be to you King Jesus Philippians 2:8 says and being found in appearance as a man he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death even death on a cross God I thank you for that extraordinary kind of love Lord Jesus I thank you for your sacrifice help us in our lives so that we might be obedient to your voice to your will to your way you King Jesus became flesh

and you led by example showing us that it is possible to live a Godly life so Lord right now I ask you to help me to be more like you change me from the inside out so that I may seek first the kingdom of God father I'm amazed and I'm forever in your dead when I think that because of your love for us you were mocked and beaten your head was pierced with a crown of thorns you were wounded and nailed to the cross all so that we could declare 1 Peter 2 ver 24 he

himself bore our sins in his body on the cross so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness by his wounds you have been healed because of you my Lord I can say with confidence and with gratitude he was wounded for my transgressions he was bruised for my iniquities the chastisement for my peace was upon him and by his stripes I am he healed father I am empowered by not only your word but by your love because it was your love that led you to save and Deliver Me from sin while I was

yet a sinner you didn't hesitate to give your life for me so Jesus I look to you and I'm lost for words all I can say is thank you all I can do is Worship You Lord you're perfect and righteous and even though you were blameless you still reduced yourself to man so that I would not be lost Lord You're the way the truth and the life it's by and through your sacrifice that I can be delivered it's by and through your sacrifice that I can experience real Joy real Peace and Freedom Lord help me

to carry my cross daily help me to reach out to you for help for strength for guidance your word in Matthew 10:38 says and he who does not take his cross and follow after me is not worthy of me so Lord I ask you give me the strength to take up my own cross and chase after you Lord give me the strength to look unto you the author and the finisher of my faith the one who knows both the known and the unknown father I thank you for receiving me and I thank you for hearing

this prayer it's in the precious name of Jesus Christ that we pray and give thanks amen trust in the Lord and do good then you will live safely in the land and prosper take Delight in the Lord and He will give you your heart's desires commit everything you do to the Lord trust him and he will help you he will make your innocence radiate like the Dawn and the justice of your cause will shine like the Noonday [Music] Sun I have set the lord always before me because he is at my right hand I shall

not be moved therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices My Flesh also will rest in Hope he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak even youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength they will soar on wings like eagles they will run and not grow weary they will walk and not be faint
