Start Your Day with Praise and Bless the Lord for His goodness | Morning Prayer

let's read Psalm 103 verse 1 before we pray it says bless the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me bless His holy name bless the Lord oh my soul and forget not all his benefits this verse is a beautiful reminder from David about what it truly means to worship and praise God when David spoke these words it's almost as though he was having a conversation with his own soul he recognized that his praise wasn't enough it wasn't as wholehearted or as full as it could be and so he called upon his soul

to rise higher to dig deeper and to give God the honor he deserves David understood that true worship isn't just about outward expressions or saying the right words it's something deeply personal and inward it comes from your soul from the very core of Who You Are this kind of worship is not superficial or half-hearted it's full sincere and complete that's why David said all that is within me bless His holy name he didn't want to hold anything back he wanted every part of himself his thoughts his emotions his strength his entire being to give God

the glory he is worthy of now you too can praise the Lord with all that is within you it's easy to get caught up in the distractions and difficulties of life and forget to worship god with your whole heart sometimes we thank him out of routine or we praise him without truly reflecting on his goodness but David's words remind us to give God our best to offer him the deepest parts of our hearts think about it if you're alive and watching this you already have countless reasons to praise the Lord you have breath in your

lungs a heart beats and the ability to hear and understand these words yes life may bring challenges and you may have struggles but are those challenges greater than the love mercy and blessings of God don't let anything stop you from giving him the praise he is due let these words become your personal Anthem bless the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me bless His holy name bless the Lord oh my soul and forget not all his benefits let's take a moment to pray together dear Lord Jesus I want to lift up your

Holy Name with all that is within me you are far greater than anything I can comprehend far greater than anything that exists in this world you are infinite in wisdom unmatched in power and unfailing in love you are the creator of the heavens and the Earth yet you care care so deeply for me how can I not Praise You Lord when I think of how vast you are and yet how intimately you know me you invite me to call upon your name to draw near to you and to experience the beauty of your presence for

all these reasons and more I offer you my highest praise I praise you Lord for who you are a God of endless mercy and forgiveness despite my flaws despite my sins you never turn away from me you are a God who forgives every iniquity and wipes away every sin when I come to you in Repentance your mercies are fresh and new Every Morning a reminder of your unwavering love for me you cleanse me with the precious blood of Jesus making me whole again you don't just forgive you restore you give me the chance to start

a new every single day Lord how could I ever thank you enough for such incredible Grace I praise you because you are a god of second chances of Hope and of unfailing compassion Lord I Praise You For Being The God Who heals not just in one way but in every way you heal my body when I am weak or unwell you heal my mind when I am troubled or anxious and you heal my spirit when it is weary or burdened your healing touch reaches into the deepest parts of me mending what is broken and making

me whole again there is no wound too deep for you to heal no pain too great for you to soothe you are the great physician Lord and I give you glory for the countless ways you bring healing into my life I praise you because you see every hurt every tear and you respond with a love that is tend and transformative you are also The God Who redeems when my life was heading toward destruction you stepped in and saved me through the sacrifice of your son Jesus Christ you gave me a way to live in Victory

and Triumph you didn't just save me from sin you gave me a new identity as your child an heir to your kingdom you redeemed me so that I can walk in Freedom no longer bound by the chains of my past how amazing it is to know that you value me so much that you would pay the ultimate price to rescue me Lord You Are My Redeemer and for that I will forever give you praise Lord I praise you for being my protector my refuge and my shield you guard me against the enemy schemes and protect

me from the forces of Darkness that seek to harm me you surround Me With Your Love Sheltering me under your wings your word says the name of the Lord is a strong tower the righteous run to it and are safe I Run To You Lord because you are my safe place my Defender and my Fortress thank you for watching over me for protecting me even in ways I may never see or understand thank you for waking me up this morning for the gift of another day to experience your love and grace thank you for the

air in my lungs for the ability to see to hear and to move even though I don't deserve it you pour out your love and compassion on me you offer me Grace when I fall short forgiveness when I fail and mercy when I least deserve it what can I possibly give you in return for all you have done all I can offer is my heart my praise and my life I will bless your name with all my soul and everything that is within me I will lean on you trusting in your wisdom and not my

own understanding I will sing praises to you Lord because you alone are worthy of all honor and adoration as I face this day I ask you to go before me Lord order my steps and guide my path be my light in the darkness A Cloud by day and a pillar of Fire by Night lead me in the way I should go and protect me from anything that could cause me harm surround me in my family with your hedge of protection I plead the blood of Jesus over my loved ones declaring safety preservation and restoration over

our lives Lord I declare that no weapon formed against me or my family shall prosper I commit my life into your loving hands because in your arms I find peace comfort and hope I pray that your presence will remain with me wherever I go guarding my home and my heart as I leave my home I ask for your guidance in my going out and your blessing in my coming in Lord fill my heart with a longing to seek you Above All Else help me to prioritize your presence to desire your fellowship and to walk closely

with you each day Lord please give me the strength to guard my heart and keep it pure protect me from careless thoughts unkind words and actions that are not aligned with your will keep me humble Lord and free me from the traps of Pride and distraction help me to remain steadfast and not discouraged by the enemy's lies fill me with a spirit of gratitude so that praise and thanksgiving are always on my lips I give you all the glory and honor to you thank you for your love for your faithfulness and for your grace that
