[Music] Exodus 3: 11-15 but Moses said to God who am I that I should go to pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt he said but I will be with you and this shall be the sign for you that I have sent you when you have brought the people out of Egypt You Shall Serve God on this mountain then Moses said to God if I come to the people of Israel and say to them the god of your fathers has sent me to you and they asked me what is his name what
shall I say to them God said to Moses I am who I am and he said say this to the people of Israel I am has sent me to you God also said to Moses say this to the people of Israel the Lord the god of your fathers the god of Abraham the god of Isaac and the god of Jacob has sent me to you this is my name forever and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations In this passage of scripture Moses was clearly daunted at the prospect of going to pharaoh and
telling him to release the children of Israel and really take a moment to think about what Moses had to do here he had to go and take on the government he had to stand for God and stand against the Egyptian king So Moses was clearly asking God the question why me who am I to go and perform such a task but I want you to notice What God Says and his response to Moses in verse 12 God says but I will be with you I have sent you in verse 14 God says to Moses I
am who I am I believe it's important for us to take note of a few things here Moses was concerned about himself perhaps he thought he wasn't influential enough or perhaps he thought he wasn't a great fighter but God didn't care whether Moses had great influence in Egypt or not God didn't care if Moses had the skill of a mighty warrior or if Moses was influential enough to go up against Pharaoh all God wanted Moses to do was to go in his name in the same way that in world affairs one country can send an
ambassador to represent an entire country or the president of that country God gave Moses Authority because he said I have sent you go in my name now we all know the story of Moses and Pharaoh in the Red Sea but I don't want to overlook this passage of scripture in Exodus 3: 11-15 Moses didn't go to Pharaoh under his own will and Authority he went under the authority of The Great I Am Moses didn't fight Pharaoh with an army or physical weapons he fought Pharaoh under the authority of The Great I Am and so my
message is simple today trust God approach life's challenges knowing that God is with you approach life's battles knowing that God is with you and then approach Temptation believing and trusting that God will strengthen you now I'd like to take a few moments to encourage the believer who's listening right now and maybe you're saying I'm tired of struggling I am so tired of trying and falling short I'm so tired of the shame the failure the feeling of not being good enough well listen I want to tell you that many of the Bible characters we admire they
all went through difficult things they all struggled with something but you see it was in the struggle that God showed them his faithfulness it was in that difficult situation that the Lord revealed his power and they might not have seen it right away they may not have realized it at the time but at some point down the line it became apparent that their suffering their pain it really did have a purpose when God allowed it the Bible gives us several examples of people who went through very challenging situations and they made it through to the
other side with God as their guide and protector Esther Esther faced emotional turmoil as she had to make an incredibly difficult Choice she was a queen who had hidden her real identity and now her people were in danger and the the end Esther acted courageously despite the threat that was against her life David he's another person who was familiar with trouble David ran into the Wilderness to escape the jealousy of Saul within his own family David had to flee from his own son Absalom who had risen up against him and listen the list is endless
Joseph was betrayed and sold into slavery by his own Brothers Hannah wept bitterly because she was Barren and job job suffered unimaginable pain and loss however there are two things that all of these people had in common they had problems but they had God some had family problems but they had God they kept their faith in the Lord some of them they suffered loss others went through a great deal of pain and some had to fight emotional battles but the one thing that is clear is that God was with them every step of the way
despite the fact that they couldn't see it at the time God's hand was still over their lives when it was hard they still trusted in the Lord when it was tough they still believed in the Lord When It Hurt they still had faith in God and it's only when they looked back when they looked back at what they've been through that's when when they saw the goodness of God now Saints my question to you is as you face your problem whatever name it may have whatever form it may be in are you facing your problem
with the Lord as you go through that pain as you go through that suffering are you still trusting him are you still believing in him be encouraged Saints no one is without problems but there is hope there is victory for the one who faces their problems while they trust in God now as we get ready to go before the Throne of God take a moment and put that thing that you're going through put it beside our almighty God do you see that the thing that feels like it's going to consume you there's no way that
it can consume God and you are in God so whatever it is is and I'm not belittling your pain I'm not belittling your situation but is there anything too hard for God is there anything he cannot do let's step into prayer with boldness and with confidence in the God we serve now let us pray dear Lord Jesus I pray that you would be with me always in you I have found joy in you I have found safe refuge in you Lord I have truly found the Good Shepherd your word in Luke 10: 19 says I
have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy nothing will harm you I have authority in King Jesus I have authority in your word because your word is living and sharper than any two-edged sword all authority in heaven and on Earth has been given to you King Jesus there is none greater than you you have no equal and you stand alone in glory and in magnificence you alone King Jesus have the authority to speak to every restore my face and bring peace you alone King Jesus

and I pray this through the authority that is in the name of Jesus Christ Luke 10:17 says the 72 returned with joy and said Lord even the demons submit to us in your name at Your Name Lord Jesus every demonic influence that seeks to destroy my faith has to leave every demonic and evil force that seeks to attack my home or my family is rendered powerless at the name of Jesus Christ all authority belongs to you my God and the Bible says in Philippians 2: 9-1 therefore God also has highly exalted him and given him
the name which is above every name that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow of those in heaven and those on the earth and of those under the Earth and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father my knee is bowed to you Lord Jesus my heart is open to you rule and Reign Over my life God Rule and Reign Over my emotions my passions and my goals my tongue certainly confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord Jesus Christ is the sooncoming king I believe that
you're the Prince of Peace I believe that you're the same yesterday today and forever Lord Jesus I praise you as my savior because you died and you Rose from the grave for my sins so that I can be forgiven and so I exalt you Let It Be Your Will that I will follow in my life Let It Be Your Authority that is the ultimate ruling authority over my life father I thank you for listening to this prayer be glorified and be honored in the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray [Music] amen but Moses said
to God who am I that I should go to pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt he said but I will be with you and this shall be the sign for you that I have sent you when you have brought the people out of Egypt you You Shall Serve God on this mountain then Moses said to God if I come to the people of Israel and say to them the god of your fathers has sent me to you and they asked me what is his name what shall I say to them God
