Today I'm showing you 12 powerful AI tools that will not cost you a dime. And no, these aren't stripped down premium versions. These are fully functional AI tools that are completely free.
In fact, the most powerful one and my favorite on this list I'm going to share with you is named like a serial. And the first tool I want to share with you is called Google Workspace Studio. Now, at the time recording this in early December 2025, this just came out.
This is finally a tool that Google's put out that allows you to connect and create workflows of all of your Google tools within your Google Workspace ecosystem. So, Gmail for example, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Drve, Google Sheets, uh Google Meet, Google Chat, etc. And so, you can come to the Workspace Studio page, you can describe a task for Gemini, and then it will go ahead and build that workflow for you.
They also have some pre-done templates. So, for example, get a daily summary of unread emails. So, I can click on this and they call the trigger, what most tools call a trigger, what wakes up the workflow, they call it a starter.
So, it'll recap the emails. It gives you a prompt in here. Then, it will notify you in Google chat.
And if I want to create my own agent from scratch, I just click the blue plus button here and then choose a starter from any one of these. So, for example, when I get an email, I can choose a step. I can say ask Gemini.
So, this can be my executive assistant managing my email and set it up to draft replies in three steps. Super, super easy. And again, this is totally free.
It's part of your Google Workspace account. By the way, if you're new here, my name is Rick Mardy. I'm the founder of the AI Playbook community, which is an AI community specifically for online businesses.
And I help online businesses leverage AI so that you can streamline your operations, make your business more efficient, increase profitability, and make more money in your business. I'll link to it in the description below. Tool number two is called Pomelli by Google and this is part of Google Labs.
By the way, if you've not gone to Google Labs before, it is labs. google/experiments. Scroll through here.
These all of these tools are totally free uh to use with your Google account. And so just start scrolling through, pick something you want to try out and definitely check it out. And so Pomelli leverages Gemini to help you easily generate onbrand social media campaigns.
You just give it a little bit of information about your business, like your URL, and then it will start creating campaign ideas for you. So, we're going to try this right now. So, we're going to go in here.
I'm just going to put my website in here. And as you can see down here, it'll do the analysis for about 10 minutes. And here we go.
I just did that actually in about 40 seconds or so. So, grab the brand colors. These are actually my old brand colors.
Again, I'm updating my website right now, rebuilding it with Lovable, but I'm going to say it looks good. And then you can describe the campaign that you want to create or you can just take one of the suggestions. I'm going to pick this one here.
So here's image one, image two, image three, image four. And then I can make changes to these. So for example, if I want to click on this, I can add some text to it.
I can add a call to action. I can add creative. So I can come down here, describe the creative I wanted to create.
I can upload different images. I can choose the dimensions here. And all this took about 90 seconds to do the whole thing.
And again, this is a totally free tool logging in with your Google account. Tool number three is called Whisper Flow. Now, you may have heard of Whisper Flow, but it would be a travesty for me not to include this tool in this video here today.
This is a voicetoext AI. So, it will translate whatever it is that you're speaking. And so, you can create a shortcut on your keyboard.
And for example, here I am showcasing I'm showcasing Whisper Flow, what it does, and why I love this tool so much. Okay, notice I messed up the first time, but I kept going and it cleaned it up. That's one thing I love about Whisper Flow is it said I'm showcasing Whisper Flow, what it does, and why I love this tool so much.
So, it cleaned up the inaccuracies of what I said and the mess ups. And as you can see, it's available on Mac, Windows, and iPhone. And for the pricing options, the free plan is really, really robust.
It's 2,000 words per week on Mac or Windows, 1,000 words per week on Flow for iPhone. I have been using the free version for better part of 2025, and I've never hit the max year. I'll leave a link in the description below the video where you can get a free month of the pro tier of Whisper Flow.
For tool number four, yes, I know you've heard of this tool, but I cannot do this video without including Notebook LM in it. It is that good. So, Notebook LM, I'm not going to spend a ton of time on it because I've done tons of videos.
I'll link to one right here. But Notebook LM is a tool that allows you to bring all of your content into one place. It'll do research, both web research and from your Google Drve, for example.
It'll also do fast quote unquote research and also deep research. And then, let me show you one of my other notebooks. Then you have all these options up here.
audio overview, video overview, mindm map, reports, infographics, slide deck of your content that you are pulling in here. What Notebook LM was originally created for and is now so much better was to help writers when you're doing research for a book, for example, you put all your research into Notebook LM, and you could use the AI to make connections between all of the content. So you can prompt it in here for example and it'll analyze all the pieces of content that you have in your notebook here and it'll start to make connections for you and then you can create infographics and slide decks and all different types of content.
It's amazing. All right, for tool number five, it's called Granola. So this is your uh virtual noteaker.
So this will join your Zoom calls for example and take notes for you and transcribe the call for you. And I'll show you an example of what it will look like after a call. So, for example, these are the notes that it delivers to you.
I can talk to the call if you will. So, I can talk to the the transcript and they have pre-done options here. They call recipes.
So, like a write TLDDR and then you can go into all recipes. You can browse all of them. You can create your own recipes.
So, whatever kind of workflow that you want to do with it, it just works. Then you can go up here to the top right hand corner. You can click on different template.
You can choose different templates here. You can also create your own template that you want your call notes organized. Like you can also send your notes with one click to notion to Slack.
You can copy the text. You can draft an email. So for example, if I wanted to write a follow-up email, I come down here and just click on this button.
Again, you can set up your own what Granola calls recipes. So in terms of limitations for Granola, as of right now, it is only available on Mac. So, if you are a Windows user, for example, you might want to try something like Fathom, which has also has a really good free plan.
In terms of pricing, I've been using the free version for a very long time, recording a lot a lot of different calls, and I've never hit my limits or anything like that. All right, tool number six is called Goblin Tools. Goblintools.
It is primarily, I think, built for neurode divergent people like myself because, as you can see here, it's a collection of small, simple tools for when things feel too big or complicated. So, what I like to use it for is the magic to-do. So, you can put in a project, for example, and then it'll break the project down into individual steps all by itself.
So, let's type in create a new live workshop for my email list. So I can choose a little magic wand over here. Click on breakdown item and it will break that down into a complete project for you step by step.
And now what I can do is I can go in here and I can estimate the amount of time something might take me or I can add a subtask to it. So I'm basically breaking out my entire project by just typing in one sentence. Create a new live workshop for my email list topic TBD.
And then it just breaks it down into steps. Then they also have these other tools. Formalizer, text transformers for tone, read a text for emotion, etc.
Consultant, professor. Then there's the compiler tool, which I really like. You can turn a brain dump into action.
So I can click in here, perfect example of where I would use my whisperflow app. So just hold down my keyboard shortcut, start talking, brain dumping, and then click turn into tasks. And it does it in a matter of seconds.
And again, this is such a simple tool, but yet super super helpful, and I love it. It's totally free. Tool number seven is called mymap.
ai. And as you can see here, it helps you turn ideas into diagrams using AI. So, flowcharts, mind maps, matrices, and presentations.
This is really the key to using AI in your business and creating workflows, understanding what the process map is because you're able to visually see all the different steps of your workflow. And they also have a whole bunch of different tools. By the way, they have a flowchart maker, which we're going to look at, PDF summarizer, and then all of these other uh tools.
So, we are going to build a process map. I'm going to put some steps in here of an AI workflow that could be part of a business. So, I'm going to click on submit.
So, it just mapped out the steps here, and it's asking me if I want it to proceed. I'm going to say proceed. And as you can see here, it's building out the flowchart.
All I did was I put three different steps uh in there and it's building out the flowchart and in a matter of maybe 10 seconds here is our flowchart. So I can chat to modify it. So I can sort of vibe code if you will the flowchart.
Then I can go up here and I can make edits in terms of adding text uh a web card, title card, text card. Is it the most beautiful thing in the world? No.
However, this you can build total AI workflows based on this type of um process flowchart. I'm on the free plan right now and as you can see here, I mean I don't I don't need to be making a whole bunch of these workflows, right? So, I would just the free plan is is fine.
It's $20 a month build if you do monthly. If this is something that you do in your business, which I highly recommend you process mapping things in the business so that you can figure out what things are right to use AI for, then yeah, I think my map. AI is a no-brainer to upgrade to.
Tool number eight is one that you likely have heard of. I was one of the first people to do a video on Napkin AI, which I will link to right here. They are officially out of beta.
So essentially what this is it, as you can see here in the screen here, it turns your text into visuals. So if you've got really meaty or dense text that you want to visually represent, Napkin makes it super super easy. So here are some notes about my Inside Out AI framework.
So if I want to create a visual of just this number one here with the bullet points, I just click this little lightning bolt here and it starts to generate visual options to represent just that text. And so these are the AI suggestions. So this is one of the new features of Napkin where it's giving you the different types of visuals here that it thinks align the best with the content that you have highlighted.
So let's just say I like this one the best. Then I can click on similar visuals right here. So now I have different options of that specific image.
So I can just mouse over these. You can see how some of the colors changing, the text is changing, but I can also make edits to this. So I can highlight the whole thing and then I can change the text for different uh different fonts here.
I can change colors and then I can also download this image if I want to. Now one limitation I do think the napkin has is the types of graphics that it has. They tend to be repetitive pretty quickly.
However, how quick was that to be able to visually represent this text. So great for a presentation for example. And yes, Napkin AI, even though they're out of beta now, they still have a very robust free plan.
As you can see here, 500 AI credits per week, unlimited visuals, editing, etc. , etc. , and you just sign up and it says free forever.
All right, tool number nine is called Headline Studio by Co-chows to put your pretty much what it sounds like. Allows you to put your headlines in, and it will grade it and analyze it and give you recommendations. You can analyze YouTube video titles, email subject lines, blog titles, Tik Tok, Instagram podcast titles, LinkedIn ad uh headlines.
And so let's try this out on YouTube. And I'm going to use the title for this actual video here. And let's just see what it thinks of it.
12 AI tools you won't believe are free. And click analyze. And it's going to give me a report on that specific title.
It does not like the title a whole lot. gives me a 67 uh score and then it breaks down why it's giving you that score. It'll show you what it would look like in Google.
Gives you the word count, character count, uh word balance, shows you where you rank on these different uh sliders here like on the emotional scale, power, uncommon, etc. All right, so this is something that I would want to definitely improve upon. Um if you see this title for this video here, we still went with it to test it out.
The other two options here, SEO score and headline AI are premium features as you can see here. So I click on SEO score. Uh headline AI will this is a chatbot.
So you can ask different questions about your title and it will help you. But this again this is a paid option but as you can see here it's really inexpensive if you go the quote premium uh level and pay for that plan. It's $4 a month for 10 premium credit.
I think this is absolutely worth upgrading to if you want to be testing out your headlines. Okay, for tool number 10, you've definitely heard of it, but got to include it in this type of video and that is N8N, but specifically the locally hosted version or the community version as it's called here on N8N. Totally free to use.
If you're not familiar with N8, it is a visual AI workbuilder. It is great. Now, I will say that in terms of technical ability, in terms of AI tools and workflow builders, this is going to be at the top.
This is going to be the most technical tool compared to all the other tools out there. But with that said, it is completely scalable. It's really powerful.
You can do all kinds of integrations with it and uh connect to different agents and so forth. So, for example, this one I'm building out here. clicked on the plus button here and I can choose uh apps or specific AI.
So if I want to put an AI agent in here, I can do that. It is really a powerful tool. Now if you look at the pricing option, go to the pricing page.
So this is the if you do paid version, but if you scroll down here, it's going to give you the community edition and that is exactly what the free version is. It's going to kick you over to GitHub. So again, this is where it starts to get even more technical here.
You got to be familiar with setting up locally run tools. So, if you scroll down here, it's going to give you instructions and quick start. So, using your terminal or Docker, it'll give you complete instructions on how to install, but N8N is a really powerful tool, but it is on the more advanced side.
So, if you're a complete beginner, I wouldn't start with uh N8N. I'd start with a tool like Relay. app.
A tool number 11 allows you to look at prompt output from a variety of different models all at the same time. It's called Cathub. ChatHub.
gg. GG. So, if I go over and open it up here, you can download this, by the way, as a Chrome extension, for example, which is really, really nice.
But you can choose different models here. So, if I want to compare uh say GBT 5. 1 versus Claude Sonnet 4.
5. So, I can choose how many models that I want to compare the output with, I can do three models. So, let's just choose this Gemini 2.
5 Pro. And then if I put a prompt in here, we're going to see the output from all three models all at the same time. Okay.
And here it goes. So you can see this is uh GPT 5. 1, SU 4.
5, Gemini 2. 5 Pro. So right off the bat, you can see the nuance and how each model's responding.
So I really like this tool, especially with the Chrome extension that you can add. I can add to my uh DIA browser. Now, this is one of those tools that I do like the option to upgrade.
So, if I click on upgrade, you can see here it's $19 a month for the ChatHub Pro option. So, I do think if this is important to you and testing multiple models here at the same time to see what the output is, then yeah, I think this is worth upgrading. The 11th and final tool of my list here for this video is called Snipped and it's the AI powered podcast app.
So, what you're able to do is when you're listening to an episode, for example, you can save key insights automatically. You can chat with episodes. You can get AI generated summaries before you go and listen to an entire episode and give you the key takeaways.
So, let's take a look at what this looks like on the on my iPhone. All right. So, here we are in the app.
So, I just pulled up a recent Alex from Ozie video, how to charge 3X without losing clients. So, I can click on read more, and this is where I'll get the AI summary of the episode. Here, I can obviously play it.
And so if I play it and it's listening, let's just go forward here. Notice as I'm listening here, it's giving me the chapters of the episode, which I think is super super cool. If I scroll down a little bit, you can see the transcript, you can see different quotes from the episode, you can look at the show notes.
Let's just say that I want to create a snip of that specific uh thing that he's talking about. So I just did that really, really easily. Artist versus businessman.
So I can share that. I can add the star and it's automatically saved now. So really, really cool.
I can scroll through the different quotes here. You can see that the AI has grabbed quotes. So maybe this were if this is your episode, for example.
This would be really cool to grab this quote and make a like a social media card or something like that. And I just really love this app because it allows me to get so much more out of podcast episodes. So if you do want to chat with an episode, you do need to upgrade.
It's $7 a month if you do the annual option or as you can see here, $11. 90 if you do the monthly option. All right, there you have it.
