as chosen ones the calling of God comes with a cost it is not a cost measured in worldly terms but in spiritual battles moments of loneliness and sacrifices that can stretch us beyond our comfort zones but for every cost there is an unimaginable reward waiting for those who endure to be chosen is not just a it it's a Divine appointment it's a mark on your soul that distinguishes you for a unique purpose and that purpose comes with a price but take heart for the price we pay here is nothing compared to the Eternal reward that

leave his homeland and go to a place that God would show him Genesis 12:1 imagine the uncertainty he must have felt the fear of the unknown yet he obeyed sacrificing the comfort of the familiar for the unknown Journey with God Abraham's obedience didn't just cost him Comfort it cost him security he was called to leave behind everything familiar his family his culture his way of life to follow God into an uncertain future some of you have made sacrifices that others cannot comprehend you've let go of relationships careers or Lifestyles that once brought Comfort because you

knew God was calling you higher but with every sacrifice comes the feeling of loss it can be hard to explain to others why you made the decisions you did and sometimes it may even feel like you are wandering alone in a desert like Abraham however remember this God honors every sacrifice made in faith he sees your tears your struggles and he knows the weight of the cost you are not Forsaken and you are not forgotten the scripture is clear God is faithful to those who are faithful to him Hebrews 610 tells us for God is

Not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward his name the sacrifices you've made are not in vain God is using them to mold you to prepare you for the next level of your Divine Purpose you see sacrifice is not just about loss it's about gaining something greater when Abraham left everything he gained the promise of God just as Abraham became the father father of Nations because of his obedience God has a promise waiting for you that far outweighs the sacrifice you are making now number two the spiritual

battles we Face being chosen means standing on the front lines of spiritual warfare the enemy knows that you are marked by God for a purpose and because of that he will do everything in his power to derail you we see this in the life of Joseph who was chosen by God to lead a nation his journey was filled with betrayal false accusations and imprisonment Genesis 37: 50 it seemed as though everything in his life was going against him when God chooses you he places a Target on your back not to harm you but to prepare

you for battle spiritual warfare is not a sign of God's absence it is evidence that you are on the right path the enemy does not fight those who are no threat to his plans Ephesians 6:12 reminds us for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities against Powers against the rulers of the darkness of this world against spiritual wickedness in high places Joseph faced betrayal from his own Brothers was falsely accused by Piper's wife and was thrown into prison for a crime he did not commit yet despite all of these trials Joseph never

lost his faith in God he knew that the spiritual battles he faced were part of the process of being chosen you may feel like Joseph right now you may feel like the battles you are facing are too much to bear like your circumstances are unjust and overwhelming but hear me today the battles you face are not the end of your story they are merely the preparation for the elevation that is coming every trial every hardship every spiritual attack is preparing you for the moment when God will lift you up Joseph's story didn't end in prison

it ended in the palace and so will yours the enemy may try to knock you down but God is faithful to see you through the trials are refining you shaping your character and preparing you for the blessings he has in store this is why it is so important to remain steadfast in your faith when the battles come remember that you are not fighting alone God is fighting for you Exodus 14:14 reminds us the Lord will fight for you you need only to be still be still in his presence and let him do the work number

three the loneliness of the chosen one of the greatest costs of being being chosen is the loneliness that often comes with it Elijah a powerful prophet of God experienced this loneliness after a great Victory against the prophets of Bal he found himself fleeing for his life and feeling utterly alone First Kings chapter 19 he cried out to God feeling like he was the only one left who was faithful have you ever felt like Elijah After experiencing great spiritual highs there's often a sudden plunge into deep isolation you wonder if anyone else understands the weight of

your calling if anyone else has experienced the depths of the sacrifices you've made the loneliness can be overwhelming it's in these moments that the enemy Whispers lies to make you feel forgotten abandoned and unseen but just as God came to Elijah in his moment of Despair he comes to you now he is not a distant God he is near to the Brokenhearted Psalm 34:18 promises the Lord is close to the Brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit in your loneliness God is doing a deep work within you molding you shaping you and preparing

you for what's to come Beloved the loneliness you feel is not a punishment it is a part of the process God often removes us from the noise of the world to speak to to us more clearly he isolates us so that we can learn to depend on him and him alone during these Seasons of Loneliness God is drawing closer to you refining your faith and teaching you to trust in his provision you are never truly alone God is with you and his angels surround you even now just as he sent an angel to minister to

Elijah he will send his Divine Comfort to you don't let the enemy convince you that you are forgotten God sees you he hears your cries and he is working behind the scenes on your behalf number four the refining fire growth through suffering another profound cost of being chosen is that it often involves suffering suffering is not something we enjoy talking about but it is an undeniable part of the Christian walk when God chooses you he allows s you to go through the refining fire not to harm you but to purify and prepare you the refining

process removes the impurities of Pride self-sufficiency and doubt leaving behind a faith that is strong and unshakable consider the story of Job a man chosen by God to endure incredible suffering job lost everything his wealth his family his health yet he remained faithful to God in the end God restored everything to job and gave him even more than he had before Job chapter 42:10 the refining fire job endured was not a punishment but a preparation for the greater blessings that God had in store for him when you are chosen you may find yourself walking through

seasons of suffering these seasons are painful but they are also purposeful Romans CH 5: 3:4 reminds us we also glory in our sufferings because we know that suffering produces perseverance perseverance character and character hope God is using your suffering to produce Something Beautiful In You perseverance character and hope you may not see it now but every tear you've cried every pain you've endured is bringing you closer to the person God has called you to be you are being refined and when you come out on the other side you will be stronger wiser and more equipped

for the purpose he has set before you number five the reward of the chosen Beloved the reward for those who endure is far greater than we can imagine Jesus himself told us in Matthew 19: 29 and everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life the reward of the chosen is not just in the life to come but in this life as well God is faithful to those who are faithful

to him just as Joseph was elevated from the prison to the Palace just as Abraham became the father of Nations and just as Elijah was renewed and continued his prophetic Ministry so too will you see the reward of your perseverance God is not a man that he should lie numbers 23: 19 every promise he has spoken over your life will come to pass if you remain faithful the cost is great but the reward is greater still for Joseph the reward of being chosen by God was not only his personal restoration but also the preservation of

his family and an entire nation imagine the profound impact Joseph's faithfulness had on future Generations his obedience and perseverance through trials not only elevated him to a position of influence but also fulfilled God's divine plan for his people in the same way the reward that awaits you is not just for your own benefit but for the impact it will have on others you see God's blessings are generational when he elevates you he does so not just to reward you for your faith a fulness but also to establish his Covenant with future Generations your perseverance will

set a foundation for your children your children's children and all those who will come after you the reward of the chosen carries an eternal weight of Glory that stretches far beyond what we can see when we think of the ultimate reward we must turn our gaze heavenward Jesus told us in John 14: 2-3 in my father's house are many mansions if it were not so I would have told you I go to prepare a place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you to myself

that where I am there you may be also the ultimate reward for the chosen is to dwell with our savior for all eternity the trials battles and sacrifices of this life pale in comparison to the joy of being with Jesus forever but even here on Earth God gives us glimpses of his reward He blesses us with peace that surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7 with joy that cannot be taken away John 16:22 and with his abiding presence that guides us every step of the way Psalm chap 32:8 these are the treasures that sustain us as we

wait for the full manifestation of God's promises Beloved the Journey of the chosen is not easy but it is worth it the road may be marked with sacrifice battle and loneliness but it is also marked with Divine encounters Heavenly rewards and eternal glory God is with you every step of the way and he is faithful to complete the work he has begun in you Philippians 1:6 number six the Legacy of the chosen one final aspect of being chosen that I want to emphasize is the Legacy that we leave behind when you answer God's call and

walk the path of the chosen your life becomes a testimony that will echo through generations think of the Legacy left by those who answered God's call in scripture Abraham Joseph Esther David and others their obedience didn't just affect their own lives it shaped the course of history for God's people when you walk in obedience to God's calling your life becomes a Living testament to his faithfulness your perseverance through trials your faith in the face of adversity and your unwavering commitment to God will inspire others to pursue their own Divine calling your legacy will be one

of Faith courage and obedience in Hebrews 12:1 we are reminded that we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses those who have gone before us in the faith they are cheering us on as we run our race encouraging us to press on toward the prize just as they have left a legacy of Faith so too will you the legacy of the chosen is not measured by worldly success or accolades but by the impact your life has on the kingdom of God every prayer you pray every act of kindness every step of Faith you take

is building a legacy that will Outlast you your life will leave an imprint on the hearts of those who come after you pointing them toward the God who is faithful to his promises so beloved embrace the cost of being chosen knowing that it is building a legacy of faith that will inspire generations to come your life is a story of God's grace power and love a story that will continue to be told long after you are gone conclusion embrace the cost reap the reward I'm speaking to you chosen one yes the cost is high the

sacrifices are real the battles are fierce but the reward oh the reward is beyond anything you could ever imagine God sees every tear every sacrifice every step of Faith you've taken and he is faithful to reward those who diligently seek Him the Journey of the chosen is not easy but it is worth it today I challenge you to embrace the cost knowing that the reward is already secured in heaven for you keep fighting keep believing keep pressing forward God has not forgotten you and your reward is closer than you think hold fast to the words

of Jesus in this world you will have trouble but take heart I have overcome the world John 16:33 he has already overcome the battles you face and his victory is your victory walk in that truth knowing that the reward of the chosen is both for this life and the life to come so beloved embrace the cost embrace the sacrifices the battles the loneliness and the refining fire know that God is with you in every step and he is faithful to bring you through true to the other side your reward is coming believe it receive it

and protect them from every scheme of the enemy that seeks to derail their purpose let your peace which surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and Minds in Christ Jesus father we declare victory over every spiritual battle they are facing we cancel Every Lie of the enemy every Spirit of Doubt fear and discouragement and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper strengthen them Lord for the battles ahead and remind them that the victory is already won in jesus' name and Lord for those who have made sacrifices in obedience to your call whether it
