so we begin again tonight discussing the the the importance of understanding the difference between God's glory which is his presence and God's power which is his anointing now remember what I had said to all of you which is of vital importance acts 1:8 ye shall receive power the anointing after that the Holy Ghost the presence and the glory comes upon it and and the reason for God's power which is the offspring if I may say the result or the fruit of his presence God's power is the fruit of his presence and the reason for God's

presence and God's power is one thing that ye might be witnesses God does not give us his presence or power for picnics or for parties or for blessings or for goosebumps he gives us his presence and power for service witnesses Jesus said ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you and ye shall be witnesses witnesses unto me and it's amazing he said that you would begin first at home he said in Jerusalem then in Judea then ins then in all Samaria then the whole world so you must begin properly if

you want to start or when you begin I should say you begin properly at home nobody ever begins with the world they always begin with their family see I want my family before I could with any anyone else you you've got to win your home before you can win the world if you can't be effective with those you know you won't be effective with those you do not know so in Jerusalem begin with your people begin with your home so what did the Lord say ye shall be witnesses unto me in Jerusalem first you're gonna

affect and impact those that know you before you will impact those that do not know you and now when God revealed his presence he revealed himself he revealed his attributes and so on which we had discussed once you begin to know God's presence you will lose sight of yourself that is the result of knowing God's presence you lose sight of self remember I gave you that from Exodus 34 when Moses wished not that his face Sean after being in the presence of God and it is God's presence that of course transforms us and I also

talked about God's presence comes when we seek him with our spirit Isaiah 36 8 and 9 and that presence produces wholly silence you'll get all that on your DVD next week and go through it again because it's really of vital vital importance and God's presence stills the activity of the soul it doesn't stir them now once that presence is in your life it would eat it will it will invade your heart and it will steal your soul and only after God's presence is within you on in that fashion that you'll begin to dig wells and

find water a lot of people are digging wells and finding nothing because it's all soulish and it's not spiritual now I also made a statement and I think I said it too fast and I think it's so important I gotta say it again that the highest spiritual attainments are the easiest to reach people make something so difficult something so simple the highest spiritual attainments are easily reached in life it's not something difficult God's presence isn't so difficult to find God's presence is so easy to find and it is found by silent prayer well now prayer

becomes silence and silence becomes prayer and now silence becomes his presence and his presence becomes silence and I think you know what I'm talking about if you do not you will experience it as you enter into God's presence remember that in that presence there is protection there is light and there is power remember that Habakkuk 3/4 says power is the result of God's presence that's in Habakkuk 3 for now God has promised us his power but now remember something and let's just if you all please look up here and let's repeat something together simple and

profound is what I'm about to give you this is very important jesus said that the Spirit of God first is in you then sorry I'll go back he's first with you then he's in you then he's on you so say with me the Holy Spirit is first with me then in me then upon me now that is found in John 14 17 he is with you shall be in you he is with you and shall be in you but then in acts 1:8 he said he shall be upon you so in John 14 17 he's

with you he's in you in acts 1:8 he's upon you these are three separate experiences and I'll discuss them further tonight but I want to explain them now he is with you to bring you into salvation he is with you to convict you they he's in you to save you once you are saved he's in we are filled with the spirit and he indwells us in dwells dwells within us at salvation but then thirdly he comes upon us and he comes upon us for a whole different reason which we're gonna get into here tonight but

remember the three keys I just gave you he is with you before salvation to bring you into salvation he is in you at Salvation and continues to be in you forever the Holy Spirit will not leave you when you reach heaven you will be filled with the spirit eternally in that amazing that the infilling of the Spirit is not just for this time it's forever yeah now then he is upon you and he's upon you for service he's upon you for action so he's with you he's in you he's upon you once the part of

God and and I don't want to dwell further with the presence it's in you I want to begin talking about the power upon you because there'll be another time another class when I do want to deal with the presence of God and its importance and I want to talk about other things that God's presence will produce because God's presence doesn't only does not only produce God's presence does not only produce power it produces fruit we'll talk about that later but I want to dwell now with power the anointing once that anointing ye shall receive power

after the Holy Ghost come once that blessed power blessing it and owning is upon your life the scripture says in 1st Samuel 10 6 you'll become another man God will change you because of that anointing and we'll see that again tonight so I will not do all much on at this moment before I begin into into what I want to teach on tonight I want to finish by saying this one thing the presence of God will cause you to be and the power of God will cause you to do remember that I said that two

weeks ago God's presence will cause you to be in other words it affects your heart God's power causes you to do it affects your actions God's presence affects me God's part effects what happens through me God's presence affects my heart God's part effects my actions God's presence effects my inner spirit man while God's part effects my body my mind my emotions people will often ask what do you feel under the anointing it effects me completely I'm a different man even my children don't look at me as daddy anymore why thou shalt be another man the

scripture says and do not be do not be amazed when God's anointing comes on you and they'll say I don't know this man well they don't know you only God knows you at that moment thank God for that now the anointing of the Spirit is a must please understand before I begin this section of the teaching God's power is a must in your life without the power of God all you do is rejected God will not accept your work without his power now remember what I said earlier God's presence causes you to be and God's

power causes you to do but God's power must be upon you to be accepted in your doing if God's power is not up is not on your life all you do is fruitless and useless and reject it so God demands that we be anointed in order to be accepted and our work to be accepted so whatever you do for the Lord remember that which you do must be anointed even when you sing a song preach a message or teach a Sunday School class now the word anointing the Hebrew says Misha M SC h h m

is CH h it means to smear means to rub if you ever took oil and rubbed it on somebody somebody's hand if your child was sick and you took all of oil and we back in the days when I grew up in Israel you know olive oil was used for all kinds of things they used it as medicine if our ear hurt my dad would rub oil on it if our stomach hurt it takes rub oil on it hot olive oil people don't do that now but they did it back then now sometimes it worked

and sometimes it didn't work but they believed in olive oil but I have always such a powerful thing they would rub it on your little hand or if you were burning or whatever Shepard's to this day rub oil on sheep to keep flies off so the Flies don't come in and and and bite them so they can sleep it in peace and so on so to rub means to anoint so when we say anoint we mean rubbed smear I love it that God loves to rub his power on your life the Word of God also

tells us something most amazing turn to acts chapter 6 now we all read acts 1:8 we ought to know it by heart in fact I would like to test you on Romans 1 a set enormous forgive me acts 1:8 acts 1:8 says ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you and ye shall be witnesses unto me stop right there now I want to have have you all say it one more time loud and clear one more time 1 2 3 ye shall then I stop stop some of you are looking

at your Bibles you ought to notice my heart look at me when you say it not at your Bible there ought to be one verse you ought to know just like you know your name ok let's go again 1 2 3 go ye shall we see Wow after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you and ye shall be witnesses unto unto whose me the Lord yea unto me remember that incredible key when the part of God comes only you won't talk about yourself or your congregation or your organization or your denomination or your family

if Jesus is not mentioned the anointing is absent I like you mmm say he shall be witnesses unto me that's the result of the anointing he is glorified he is spoken of his name is mentioned continually shall do it with witnesses unto me people get up and talk about all kinds of things they never mentioned Jesus there's no anointing the anointing is not for clubs it going to a club talking about the weather and how's your health and whatever the the anointing is not going to be sent for people talk about these silly things nor

will they known and come upon you so you can help somebody didn't deal with their hurts or emotions the anointing is for one glorious reason Jesus right ye shall be witnesses unto me he said I said I'm not gonna not you so you can help somebody fix their troubles live a better life or whatever we always forget we think the anointing is gonna come to help my emotions or urges or his or no no it's not even for counseling God doesn't anoint you so you can counsel somebody he anoints you so you can testify of

Jesus glorify Jesus magnify Jesus preach Jesus is that clear now that's the key to their noni the key to the anointing is the preaching of the name of Jesus the the glorifying of the name Jesus the lifting up of the name Jesus me-me-me jesus said not you you you and your troubles or anybody else has troubles you know it's so sad you you see some blessed not hot enough for it but anyways all they deal with this stuff that really has nothing to do with the Lord then has said they spent all their time just

wasting their time on our counseling somebody on how to deal with a little whatever you bring Jesus in and everything else is over with I mean your troubles are over when he's there right so why why focus on the little stuff let's welcome the Lord goodness okay he shall be witnesses let's do that again come on ye shall receive power and Wow in a marvelous talk to me that ought to be underlined in your Bible in red and to me okay now listen carefully to what I'm gonna say to you next in in in Acts

chapter six which you ought to be at by now Acts chapter six I know some of you want to Acts chapter one it's alright you can always get to Act six quickly verse five says and the saying please the whole multitude and they chose stephen a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost now remember the question had to deal with who takes care of the widows and there was some little problem in the early church because in those days it says when the number of the disciples was multiplied there arose a murmuring the

Greek the Greeks or the Gentiles were complaining about the Jews because they said well you take care of your widows but you don't take care of ours it was a little question between Jews and Gentiles the Gentiles saying well you you Jews are taking care of your widows and you don't bother helping our widows and so the Apostle said look we are not gonna leave prayer and the world to handle such problems you choose men they'll take care of these problems and so it says that they chose stephen a man full watch this now this

is very this is ki full of faith and of the Holy Ghost but now if you look down at verse 8 it says and Stephen full of faith and power notice these three keys always you'll find them together in the scriptures Holy Ghost power faith faith is always present when power is power is always present when the Holy Ghost is oh there God I can help so many precious ones who've been seeking faith and hand founded the Holy Ghost will always brings faith brings faith with him he is the spirit of faith so whenever you

find the Holy Spirit you will find power and faith always always together so if you really are anointed you're a man of faith faith will always be present in your life if the power of God is there so once God's power is on your life there'll be faith it's just that simple and remember it is that power which we're about to discuss in completely I mean we you're about to receive the whole teaching which begins here tonight and continues on and on next week and so on a power of God and only the power of

God destroys Satan and his authority now I you missed what I just said I've got I've gotta say one one more time one more time this is one of the most amazing truths in the scriptures which often is not we don't pay attention to it you'll never find God's presence or Satanists never God's presence is never manifested if the presence of evil is there never Elijah had to leave word Jezebel was to find God's presence and had to go down to the Sinai he could not find it in the atmosphere of evil now this is

this is this is almost like a secret to most people that and they have no clue they that's one thing they don't even understand now not the part of God we're not talking about the part of God now I'm talking about the presence of God the presence of God is found in the secret place Jesus went up to the mountain to find God's presence and came down and demons were down in the valuating he could have very easily the Son of God could have easily found God's presence in the valley but no he said we're

gonna go up the mountain God is too holy to allow this presence in what evil is present it's not a question of weakness it's a question of holiness do you understand that now I want to explain that because some some look-look-look study be a good student of the Bible even if I say something go dig go find it go read the whole Bible and see if it's there example after example after example after example we're talking about the glory now the glory of God was not even manifested to Israel except to the high priest except

to the high priest and Moses the children of Israel never knew God's presence it was hidden from them it was in the Holy of Holies and if they dared go in there they'd be killed the high priest went in with blood and only once a year and went in fear and trembling and they tied a rope to his ankle in case he dropped that in there because if sin was present in his life he'd drop dead and so they put bells on the on the skirt of the high priest so in case the bells quit

ringing it meant he dead and if they those bells quit ringing they'd drag that man out with a rope nobody would dare go in there they would being killed by God's presence God's presence is so holy said don't even let let an animal near near that mountain when I come down to talk to you Moses das presence is so holy that the scripture says that children of Israel were not allowed into the Holy of Holies he just Moses just the high priest Aaron could go in there only the high priest the thousands and thousands and

thousands and thousands of priests could not experience it only the high priest and not every day only once a year God's presence belongs in the holiest of places do you understand that God's power is a different matter we're talking about the power now I could have said all this two weeks ago because in our minds we do not differ between presence and power we must we must that's why there are preachers who can preach with power and lack the presence and the living in sin they have people saved and healed and they're sleeping with women

on Monday through Friday but they have power on Sunday why because they're separate you understand now that power came when the presence of God was on their life God's presence is not given without repentance his power is the gifts of God are given without repentance but not the presence of God if the presence of God leaves like it left Saul a demon replaces it no vacancy is allowed God's presence once gone out of a life if ever God God forbid should happen to any believer that vacancy will be filled with a spirit from hell God's

presence belongs to the spirit of men to the innermost being now that is what keeps you alive that presence keeps you united to your father that presence keeps you in tune with his voice why is it that Saul could not hear God when he prayed because the presence was gone God didn't answer him so he went to which the Witch of Endor remember that yeah why the presence was gone the danger is that son and it's happened lose the presence and mistake that the power being present means all is well the power present doesn't mean

a thing to God because of the power is there without the presence that man is lost because the presence is gone the power of God by itself will not keep you in fact it will become your enemy now never forget what I just said right here the power of God without the presence of God will destroy but the part of God with the presence of God will build when people lose the presence of God and the part of God stays because that's not taken away that's not given to be taken away it's without repentance God's

power is given without God's gifts and power or without repentance people can go speaking in tongues all they want and still have a devil in them because the presence is gone now you are y'all hearing it now go check it in the Bible it's in the Bible God's presence belongs only in the Holy of Holies he's too holy to reveal it in the outer court he's too holy to reveal it in the presence of the world he's too holy to reveal it to those who are living in the flesh God's presence is protected Elijah not

only went to the tip of the Sinai desert to find it even when he found it he covered his face with a mantle to hide himself in it and then he heard what do us now here Elijah so when we talk about the presence of God it's a it's a it's a very sacred subject and I have tuned I have to read rehearse it to you that so you understand that God's power and presence there is a division between both there's a there's a if I may say a wall of separation now you need the

presence to keep the power of God truly alive in you and that power to be a blessing to you because if God's presence is withdrawn God's power will be a an enemy to you not a blessing it destroys as it did Saul and Isaiah and Judas Judas received the power of God and betrayed his Lord say what of course she did he was one of the twelve he gave unto them power it says them all of them he said go in my name heal the sick raise the dead cast out devils they all came back

and said in your name Lord Judas was one of them read your Bibles don't be immature with those things there in the Bible Judas was one of the twelve he was one who went and preached he called the twelve and said go ye in my name go preach the gospel go heal the sick go raise the dead they all came back it's a lord in your name the demons are subject unto us he said don't rejoice for that rejoice that your names are written one of the most Judas the same man who knew the power

but not the presence betrayed the Lord I'm gonna shock you with a little more none of the Apostles before Pentecost ever knew God's presence the Holy Ghost was not yet upon them he hadn't yet fallen think about seeing Jesus and not feeling a thing seeing Jesus and not feeling God's presence that's what happened to him thousands saw him preached and saw him raise the dead and weren't even moved they were amazed but nothing happened to the heart they still went and crucified him why because they only saw and heard it didn't touch the heart at

all but after that on the day of Pentecost what happened when the Holy Ghost came upon when this word of God filled them they changed the world the same man who were hiding in fear became mighty the same ones who fled in case they got killed were ready to be martyred why the presence hello the presence say it say it again now when we talk about the power of God we'll talk about something completely separate and different it's the fruit of the presence it's the result of the presence you can't get it without it yet

in the in the in the case of the Apostles it was the sovereignty of God I won't even touch that right now that's too deep for this moment imagine that Jesus gave the power to the twelve with not one of them ever knowing gospel God's presence yet the order of the vine scripture is presence produces power and in that case Jesus said authorities I give it to you doing my name Wow the sovereignty of God now once the power of God oh this is marvelous are you people enjoy this as much as me once the

power of God comes on your life the power remember the power the anointing we're talking that's what I'm teaching on but you can't ignore the presence of God when you talk about the power but once the part of God comes upon you it will change your actions turn you into a different man they won't even recognize you they say who's this guy and know me for sure I didn't think he can talk like that that's what they'll say about you but you protect the anointing by protecting the presence take not thy spirit from me David

said he didn't say don't take your own only from me he said don't take your presence from me as long as your presence is with me all is well but the second your presence leaves me I'm doomed I'm sunk so now the anointing that anointing that power once it comes upon you remember something oh this is so amazing dear Jesus I pray take us deeper right now and help this class understand way more than they can handle enlarge their capacity in Jesus name let me hear an amen the anointing of the Spirit just write this

down the anointing of the Spirit comes at three points in your life it comes at Salvation Leviticus 14 18 comes at the moment of ministry when ministry is born in your life Exodus 30 30 and comes for authority second Samuel 5 verse 3 and verse 7 now I I'm saying this now and I'm gonna explain it further to you but I want you to hear something I gotta tell you now the anointing of the Spirit comes at Salvation at the moment a ministry is born in your life salvation Leviticus 14 18 ministry Exodus 30 30

and it comes for those moments in life when you must have authority over demons or sickness or disease second Samuel 5 3 and second Samuel 5 7 the presence of God and I gotta get back to discuss this just a second the presence of God as long as you walk in obedience never leaves you so there are you still hearing me yeah the presence of God is an abiding presence say abiding now the power of God is it like I said a separate matter but there's something amazing about the part of God that I'm gonna

take a little time here and explain it so may I have your eyes are you ready to go deeper then listen when you got saved remember now we're talking about salvation so think back the day you were born again the Holy Spirit convicted you right now that happened before you got saved may have taken days months even years where the the convicting power of God was on your life and it was so strong that finally you yielded is now right finally you came to the cross and said yes Jesus now that moment the minute you

said yes the second you said yes the Spirit of God came in Jesus came in the presence of God indwells you but with that came the part of God why it was that power that gave you faith to believe Jesus is really the Son of God you came down to the altar and said I'm a sinner you could not believe you're a sinner without the part of God giving you faith to believe it because those who are living outside Christ say oh I'm fine I go to church I do this you know how they all

talk like that they all justify their sin by oh I'm a good man you cannot say truly you cannot repent without the part of God it is the power of God that enables you to repent the presence of God can vicked you but the power of God enables you now the power of God enables you to understand the Bible enables you to pray and believe God is listening to you that's what the power does the power of God produces in you the ability to believe and receive to pray and to know you're heard part of

God now that happens with salvation and that power has levels of intensity to it as you as you know the Lord longer it's it's stronger on you as you know him deeper that power on your own your life is is more it actually becomes like second nature to you you don't have to think it's now it's it's there it's always there how many understand yeah when you pray when you prayed today when you pray tonight you're not gonna struggle to believe you're gonna just believe right it's become easier to believe right now then when you

are saved why cuz that power has you in a deeper place in that River your faith is stronger right now part of God brought you deeper now think about what what happens when you begin ministering so it's the same thing it all begins line upon line precept upon recept it all begins with the seed and grows into a tree no matter what you do for God begins small and gets big God's power intensifies it's that river of Ezekiel 447 it gets deeper and higher and the same thing happens when you receive Authority you start slow

slow you see you start small you start with a little stutter and a little list but then actually know it flows God's power always intensifies on Christians on God's people not so his presence if I may say it like this the presence of God comes in fullness and stays there for the rest of your life there's no ups and downs it's all always there not God's power God's part begins with a little seed and grows to be a mountain so God's presence doesn't grow God's power does now here's something else about God's power that's amazing

God's power comes for a reason in a season while God's presence is an abiding presence I'm gonna explain that there what I just said is never taught in Bible schools because most don't even understand what I just said all right let me explain it to you would you like that look at me if you can I know many of you are taking notes I love it the presence of God in you is abiding say abiding it never leaves right have you seen me on that platform huh yeah somebody gets healed and I swing their arm

almost taking it off right would I dare do that outside that unknown never when I pray for people they collapse what a thousands of times but not when I'm walking through them all why they're anointing comes for that season for that reason of ministry it's not only when I'm home I would not be normal then and my children would go on the floor 24 hours a day oh what a lovely thought but anyways I mean think about the anointing how how pleasant and how amazing it really is how it works you you begin ministering and

everything about you changes but that begins with a seed even when you minister every single time it starts small it goes higher and it's reap and it's repeated every time you minister all over again now I'm I'm not talking about salvation here I'm - what ministry now remember when you got saved it began with the seed but now you're you're really in the river well you're not gonna get saved again tomorrow so that there's no need to repeat that process but ministry is a different matter i Minister all the time I saw it in Singapore

I couldn't believe it I had a service at 4:00 at a service at 7 but that break took me right down to the to that violin had to go right back up again and do it again Asuna Lord you know why don't you just keep that anointing on me what I just had a sandwich and come back and bang I'm back on uh it didn't work that way the I know and it always begins with the seed and grows even if you have a an hour's break because he doesn't repeat himself not amazing about God

yeah when it comes to ministering under the anointing you always have to begin with what God plans in you and then that blessed seed grows and grows and grows till it just takes whole it takes a hold of you and the Crown's with you so when you start ministering don't expect to walk in straight and dive into the river the first thing you do is get your feet wet and only then you'll know you're gonna have to go do all right the same thing with authority the anointing comes for salvation ministry and authority same thing

with with authority authority begins with a small word and then it moves it moves armies everything begins with a line and then goes into a chapter then goes into a book line upon line precept upon precept and then it just increases from there the anointing always increases we'll talk about the increase of the anointing next week not today because I want to help you understand what your part is in causing it to increase am I getting too deep for you all right now let me let me go back here and say just a few things

and we'll go back sometimes tonight I pray about these three very important points but I I let me just keep keep going I just feel feel real the Lord just moving me 2nd Corinthians 1:21 write it down it says every believer is anointed every one of you is anointed you don't even have to question am i anoint ya you are anointed you can be saved and be uninvented 2nd Corinthians 1:21 2nd karinski 2nd corinthians want in fact I like you all to turn to the chapter and read it for me loud and clear I want

to I want to hear you read it you gotta read this verse and you gotta underline that verse and you've gotta allow that word to sink deep in your heart deep in your heart every one of you must know this fact about you you could not be God's child without that fact being a reality in your life alright 2nd Corinthians 1:21 are you all there okay now you begin reading slowly one two three go now he who has established you and anointed you you're established and you're anointed say I'm anointed say it again say it

one more time slowly do you believe that that faith you have believes that your anointed is the result of the anointing you can't even believe without that in an amazing the anointing gives you the ability to believe you're anointed all stems from the anointing gives your faith to believe for it now the Word of God says everything you have as a Christian you have because of the anointing everything numbers 18 verse 8 turn to it and look at it are you learning okay number is 18 eight look what it says all we've received we've received

because of the part of God you see how important God's power is how vital it is to our life and existence numbers 18 verse 8 the Bible says listen now and the Lord speak unto Aaron behold I have also given thee the charge of mine heave offerings of all the health things of the children of Israel unto thee have I given them by reason of the anointing unto thee have I given them by reason of the anointing everything you and I have we have because of what what is the anointing what is the anointing what

is the anointing the part of God the part of God is the fruit of his now the scripture says the new birth it's just the beginning all that you've been given and all that you will be given and most of you don't have all that belongs to you you have only scratched the surface and you think you have it all there's so much more for you that you don't even know about but all you've been given and all you will be given is given by the anointing is given by what say by reason of the

anointing now look what it says in acts 8 now this is a very familiar and somewhat amazing part of the Bible acts 8 beginning at verse 12 I want to show you a group of men that had no idea what belonged to them a lot a lot of people are just like that like these ones here living in California and all over America and I pray you will go much higher and deeper say Amen all right now look at acts 8 and look at the beginning at verse at verse 12 it says but when they

believed Philip preaching when they believed the preaching of Philip and the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ and were baptized both men and women then Simon himself believed also now Simon was a sorcerer but he believed Simon himself believed also and when he was baptized he wondered beholding the miracles and the signs which were done by Philip now when the Apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the Word of God they sent unto them Peter and John who when they were come listen now who when they

were come down prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Ghost for as yet he was fallen upon none of them only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus now this is something most amazing because here's a group of believers who believed the word in verse 6 look at verse 6 there it says so very clearly they believe the word it says and the people with one Accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake hearing and seeing the miracles which he did they heard the word they even saw the part

of God in verse 7 it says for unclean spirits crying with a loud voice came out of many who were possessed with demons many were healed who had been taken by the palsies and who those who were lame and they were healed they even experienced the joy of salvation look at verse 8 and there was great joy in that city there were even baptized in water verse 12 when they believed the preaching what does it say they were baptized see it right there here is a group of people who heard who believed who saw the

miracles who experienced the joy of salvation who were baptized in water you do nothing about the Holy Ghost not a thing why is it so well because the new birth is just the beginning they were born again does it look look at this amazing thing they were born again and they could not have been born again without the presence of God in them already and they knew nothing about it not a thing in fact hey there's another scripture in Chapter 17 that's more amazing than that would you turn to acts 17 sorry acts 19 look

at verse will begin at verse 1 it came to pass at while Apollo's was at Corinth Paul having passed through that upper coasts the upper coasts came to Ephesus and finding certain disciples they're called disciples they're already saved remember that he said unto them he said unto them have you received the Holy Ghost since he believed and they said unto Him we have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost they were baptized excuse me they were saved they were saved they were called disciples they believed the gospel and he said they

said what Holy Spirit we've never even heard of such a thing now this is amazing you know here are these people who heard the gospel message who believed it who were saved called disciples but the knowledge of God was down to almost close to zero can't even heard the name Holy Spirit knew nothing about his ways knew nothing about the fact he wrote the Bible knew nothing about his gifts of power presence nothing had Paul not come by nobody would have told them now innit amazing here is a group of people as we saw in

acts 8 who had the presence of God they saw the tremendous results of God's power they saw demons come out of people they saw the lame walk and the lepers cleansed and so on and when the Apostles came to lay hands on them they did not up to that point know anything about the power of God they saw it they heard it know nothing about it so here is another point to prove to you that God's presence coming in and saving you won't help you till you know what this Bible says it is God's Word

that keeps you in that presence it is God's Word that feeds your heart so you can abide in that presence it is God's Word that you need to live day by day and God's Word is given to us through his power the power of God gives us that understanding of the Word of God enabling us to receive His Word enabling us even to pray in Ecclesiastes in Ecclesiastes 9 verse 8 we're all commanded to be anointed all the time do you know that turn to it Ecclesiastes 9 8 now this is not as easy of

a class as the last one but don't expect always to sit there and and and not work as hard I want you to look at this with me are you still there you know I love teaching people who really receive and you certainly receive Ecclesiastes 9 8 you know some such well I never wrote this well you expect me to be teaching you things you always heard we known it for this class if you heard everything you ought to be teaching by now right all right Ecclesiastes 9 8 read what it says I want you

me to be anointed say that again will you obey that command there's three things you got to do three things number one in fact I just give it a little more before I give you the three things you're gonna do God wants you to be anointed so much that he wants that and only to saturate your life what did the psalmist saying in Psalm 23 5 my cup runs over when did he say that he said it after he said thou anointest my head with oil and my cup runs over say it my cup runs

now say with me God anoint my head with oil so that my cup will run over in other words God wants you to be saturated with an awning he's not just interested in you being anointed he wants you to be saturated Wow Wow I was right he wants to be dripping with it thou anointest my head with oil my cup runs over Ruth 3:3 Ruth the Book of Ruth 3:3 this is how it begins this is one of the most amazing commands in the Bible dealing with the anointing the Book of Ruth turn to Ruth

sir where is Ruth come on after what book judges Joshua judges Ruth never forget that Ruth 3:3 is how it begins even though I did not know that when I started I'm giving you the Word of God which I discovered for myself later wash thyself therefore and anointed a you cannot be anointed unless you wash yourself you've got to be clean to be anointed nobody ever got anointed being filthy it'll be clean cleanse your life you want to be anointed hello you want to be anointed he'll never anoint filthy garments never an awful thing honest

the job he gives you is wash go wash go clean up take a bath wash your life wash yourself so Ruth 3:3 says wash yourself and then be and be anointed yeah wash yourself how do you wash yourself now wait wait now don't answer my question there's only one way to be washed in the blood it is the blood that washes us the blood say the blood now remember in Leviticus 14 now can I have your eyes and ears because I want you all to do a little work would you mind doing a little work

they say once that's done that that leper will be cleansed then you bring him back and you anoint his ear and thumb and his toe then after you anoint his ear thumb and toe you take oil and you put it on top of the blood on the ear thumb and toe then you take the oil and dump it on him now that man got anointed but he got anointed only because of the blood the oil had to go over the blood God will not anoint anyone who doesn't have blood on him the blood comes first

and the oil comes second the oil has to be over the blood so where the blood is the anointing is always now you're going to go read that whole chapter I gave you the headlines and some of you took notes most did not thank you you're gonna go read that and I want you to go through every part of that chapter and next week I'm gonna ask what does it say in verse why did he do that you're gonna tell me all right Oh bless you I'll make it easy hyssop my dear this was was

a plant it still grows in the whole land and all it is is they would dip this plant in the blood and spray it just was like a a an instrument to sprinkle blood with but it's symbolic of faith in the Bible yeah remember what did David say in the Psalms wash me with hyssop and I shall be clean right that's Psalm 51 by the way so now the blood washes and once you've been washed in the blood only then are you allowed to be anointed so once the blood cleanses you you become available to

sons go into the tabernacle of the congregation they shall wash with water that they die not or when they come near to the altar to minister to burn an offering made by fire unto the Lord so they shall wash their hands and their feet that they die not and it shall be a statute forever to them God says you're gonna wash and keep washing even to him and to his seed throughout their generations as long as you live on this earth you will need to wash now they washed with water we wash with the blood

but the result of washing look if you will now add verse 33 0 and thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them that they may minister unto me in the priest's office so because they have been washed now they can be anointed see there and thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel saying this shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your generations now he says something amazing in verse 32 upon's men's flesh shall it to not be poured neither shall you make any other like it after the composition of it

it is holy it shall be holy unto you in other words the anointing does not belong to those who live in the flesh but only to those who live in the spirit because he said it will not be port upon man's flesh but how does it come it comes when you wash and in Ezekiel 16 verse 9 write all these scriptures down because are important Ezekiel 16 verse 9 God says when I found you I washed you and then i anointed you then washed ID with water yea I thoroughly washed away thy blood from thee

or your polluted blood is one translation and I anointed thee with oil Ezekiel 16 verse 9 God will wash you then anoint you now the anointing comes also through the word say through the word as you read the Word of God as you feed upon the word of God the anointing is released so don't expect to be anointed if number one you're not washed daily and number two the world the world is not coming to you daily job 29 6 job 29 6 it says when I washed my steps with butter I washed my steps

with the word I lived in that word when I washed my steps with butter and then the rock poured me rivers of oil the rivers of oil are the result of butter the word say the word Deuteronomy 32 13 he said God caused me to suck oil out of the rock out of his word oil comes out of his word Deuteronomy 32 13 and then some 23 verse 5 again he prepares a table before me that's the word and then he anoints my head with oil hello did you hear that he prepares a table before

me and then he announced my head with oil the oil comes as a result of the table prepared before you that's the word numbers 11 verse 8 says when they ate the manna when they ate write all the scriptures down and look em up please numbers 11 verse 8 when he when they ate the manna the taste of it was fresh oil the manna tasted like oil in other words the word brings the anointing did you write that down okay and finally some a hundred and nineteen verse 25 I know I'm giving you a lot

of information but I expect you to go and to get that back and and rehearse it to yourself psalm 119 25 quickened me according to thy word you can't be quickened or be anointed without the word and thirdly and finally prayer brings the anointing prayer remember acts 1:14 right up down out I'm giving you scriptures quickly you know write them down acts 1:14 these all continued in prayer and acts 2:4 they were anointed the anointing came as a result of prayer in the book of Acts acts 1:14 these all continued in prayer acts 2:4 they

were anointed then they prayed again in acts 424 they prayed a second time acts 424 it says the they came and prayed and then the result of their prayer the second time was again they were anointed in acts 4:31 so they prayed in acts 1:14 they were anointed in acts 2:4 they prayed again in acts 424 they were anointed again they're what I know that again in acts 4:31 and when did Elijah anoint Elisha when he was plowing Kings first Kings 1919 he was plowing and he came and put his mantle on him so you

cannot be anointed without prayer so three keys the blood the word and prayer say it the blood the and prep they bring the anointing you don't have to even look for it God will tour it on you as you do what I just gave you now before I close I wanna I want to deal with something so important and extremely extremely difficult to talk about but it's must it must be dealt with and it is for your safety or protection and information the anointing of God is a very precious substance it's a very precious substance

and the anointing of God can be lost and if lost it will result in disaster on your life even though the anointing of God is a gift even though the anointing of God will not be taken away quickly the anointing of God can become your enemy and finally you would lose it and tragedy can strike and I want to take just a few moments I know we need to quit because I want to deal with something next Monday that nobody wants to talk about it's one of those hot potatoes but it's in the Bible and

it's vital to our life to understand because then and only then the fear of God will take hold of us to protect it the Word of God says that Saul was anointed he was anointed so greatly that he became a different man first samuel 10 six and the Spirit of God will come upon thee and thou shalt prophesy with them shall be turned into another man and he did become a different man so much so that the scripture says he ruled Israel he fought the enemies and please God then later something happened something happened so

serious he the king tried to be a priest and said bring me an offering Saul disobeyed Samuel when Samuel said now you wait for me we're gonna have a day with God we're gonna offer a sacrifice Samuel said I am the priest here not you you just go wait for me and Saul couldn't wait and commanded that sacrifice to be offered and wanted to be what God never called him to be he tried to be a priest when he's a king never walk away from your anointing and he did and when he offered that sacrifice

here comes Samuel says what did what are you doing and listen to what he said and this is the tragedy this is the tragedy and this is how people begin to lose the anointing in verse 12 he said I forced myself you see when you begin to force your will upon God's plan for your life your you're in danger now I'm not gonna you know teach the whole thing tonight I'm preparing you for next week he said I forced myself I forced myself to offer that sacrifice and his troubles began and Samuel said you've done

foolishly you've not kept the commandment of the Lord and now a second time came when again hehe he was foolish he commands the priest to seek the Lord and as he was seeking the Lord he heard a noise Saul heard the noise and when he heard the noise of the enemy he got scared and said withdraw your hand don't seek the Lord any more because now his attention was focused on the enemy rather than God there was a second mistake I'll go to you next week 1 he forced himself to offer a sacrifice which was

not his job to do secondly he begins to seek the Lord and hears noise and God's get gets all scared and tells the priest quit seeking God now with withdraw you're a knight I've changed my mind I don't want to pray anymore I'm third mistake Samuel comes and says look I want you to kill emilich destroy all of them for what they have done to Israel God God's command is destroy emilich but he doesn't he keeps a gang of their King alive and he keeps the Sheep alive and just it does his own thing and

now salmon says why do you reject the word of the Lord so will God reject you and the Spirit of God left him and a demon came in into him and now look at the most I think the saddest the saddest verse in Samuel this is almost like a frightening verse to read in 2nd Samuel 1 I'll just read this to you it's it's one of those that really shakes me up when I read it for there the shield of the mighty is violently cast away in other words Davison is now speaking after Saul had

been killed he said for there the shield of the mind meaning soul is taken away or cast away the shield of soul as though he had not been anointed with oil now he look at me all of you Saul was anointed and lost the anointing and what does God say about him after he lost it he says it was as though he never had it God looks at that person as though they were never anointed that's a frightening verse I'm going to show you from the Word of God how to keep the anointing and never

lose it you want that hallelujah now there's a whole lot more that I cannot go through right now because were almost out of time but know this just know this as long as you seek the Lord as long as you obey his word as long as you draw close to him and be faithful to him he'll never take that and own it from you he's not unfaithful to you how many of you have have made a promise to serve him till the day you die or he'll never forsake you and if any one of you

here has withdrawn from the Lord if any of you have failed in your heart he's a merciful Lord you know he says return unto me I'll return to you seek me you'll find me so what I'm beginning to teach you tonight is is important it's heavy it's life-changing and do not expect to know everything in one week we've just started to live alright we'll continue next week god bless you [Applause]
