I wish I could find something that could cover the wrinkles more but that's asking a little much in fact I had Botox once it didn't do a thing oh yeah yeah on my forehead I paid so much money I came out and I said I still see the lies I said I don't think I'm G to do this again hey ladies I'm so excited to introduce you to Peggy today she's 75 years old and she's really truly embracing aging with Grace she spends her days golfing going on quilting retreats and living life to the fullest
but today we are doing a beautiful makeover with Nicole beauty products plus we're featuring a trending eyeliner look that's just not only for 20-year-olds but looks stunning on 70-year-olds are you ready let's get this beauty [Music] started so I'm going to first start off the makeup tutorial with these bags or designer this is something that I created for you to have that you can use over and over and over again you can use these up to like a 100 times if you take care of them I know you do and I'm just you can use
any eye cream that you want any serum and they're going to just push the serum or the eye cream into your skin so you're going to get this really great hydration how are you feeling using them oh I love them and then do you feel that you find your under eyes are a little bit more hydrated oh yes I'm just going to be using the Estee lutter eye concentrate so it's important to hydrate the under eye before you start doing your concealer your color color corrector so you'll see a big difference when you do moisturize
your under eyes and then you put on these bags or designer you're going to just really hydrate underneath the eyes like supercharges it I'm going to now hydrate the skin with Lam Mer's emotion this is really light I really love you using this because you don't get a very heavy application just going to go in with my flat foundation brush and I'm going to apply this to the skin so now we have the eyes are hydrating the face is hydrating and we're going to ask you a couple questions that I've been very curious about uh
oh now tell me you're 75 years old I'll be 76 in November oh wow okay I haven't seen any quilting retreats before so quiltin is not just a hobby for you it's a passion oh gosh yes so tell me about these quilting retreats well they're just so much fun um it's usually at a venue a hotel or whatever it's a venue you that probably 50 to 60 women go and we spend several days there together just sewing and it's so fun because somebody might be working on the same thing that you are but then they
may not be but you'll learn stuff from them so it's a lot of fun I really enjoy it now do you start off with a project and complete it within this Retreat oh God no oh you don't oh no not unless it was a little table square or something right usually the the work I do um are quilts but they're not huge quilts the last big quilt I made was a Kings size for my niece who got married seven years ago I said I won't NE ever make another queen size wow or king size they
so big but now I'll make double size because they still look good on a bed when did you start oh gosh well I've sown all my life I went to public school growing up and we had homech so we learned to sew in homec and as an eighth grader we had to make ourselves an outfit so we could have a fish show oh great oh yes we learned how to walk and so oh yeah you would know as a model but anyway that's when I started to sew and then my mother had a real old
Singer sewing machine with a tredd so I learned on that went to high school and I didn't SE much in high school at all I was having too much fun and then when I afterwards I got married my my kids were born I thought I think I want to make some clothes for them so I bought a singer not a singer I'm sorry a Kenmore and and I've made several things out of that for my kids growing up you're also an avid golfer I wouldn't say Avid okay so but you're a golfer yes and so
how has that shaped you aging and keeping busy with athletic things to do that's what I I mean I do that because I say to myself if you get out there you're doing the steps and I always notice the days I golf I get my 10,000 steps in always so I feel good I usually golf once or twice a week and I like it this is the sociability of it all the girls we just interact we go to lunch after and so it's fun it's it's a lot of fun then at the end of the
season we'll have golf tournament like we just all play against each other and then a big luncheon and a drinking party so you are embracing your beauty with Grace so tell me give me some advice for women in their 50 60s 70s on how like what is your philosophy on this on makeup I'm just I'm taking care of yeah let me take these off a second for you think we've we've moisturized the under eyes wonderfully I just think the older I got the more I realized I really didn't start taking care of my skin early
enough and now I I look in the mirror and I go oh Peggy you have sunspots you have so many wrinkles I wish I could find something that could cover the wrinkles more but that's asking a little much cover the wrinkles yeah fill them in oh you want to fill in the wrinkles well not really but in fact I had Botox once didn't do a thing oh yeah yeah on my forehead I paid so much money I came out and I said I still see the mines I said I don't think I'm gonna do this
again well that's probably a good thing yeah if you could give one piece of advice on Aging to women in their 30s 40s 50s and 60s what would it be probably to not go not go crazy over anything just stay calm the calmness will come come from inside and you have to find it just look for it because a young like if a 30-year-old myself me at 30 years old I would have said piggy you're going to be fine and who ever thought I'd live to 76 so I'm thrilled about that so I just take
it as it comes and if you learn to do that in your 30s it'll be much easier when you get older that's a great piece of advice I love that I'm going to start off with our fiercely smooth this is my face primer now that we have Peggy's skin nice and hydrated we're going to Prime the skin so it's going to really give a nice Foundation to her BB cream and everything else that we put on her skin I'm going to just pick back up my flat foundation brush I don't need too much I just
did about a pump or so and I'm going to put it on the skin the same way I did her [Music] moisturizer I'm going to also prep Peggy's lips with our rose lip balm so by the time we get to her lipstick and her lip liner her lips are going to be nice and hydrated I'm going to take out our nickel Beauty stencils I created four different stencils for you for your brows so I have a bold Arch a slim a full and a classic so you have a lot of range so when you don't
have brows or they're actually very fine or thin or light you can have a little template because I think sometimes as we age we sometimes forget where do our brow what what shape should I have I don't know and then you just don't do them because you're like so we're going to do them today and I think that we should do I think we should do a slim Arch so the what was wonderful about these is that they're they're clear so you can see where they're going to go on your skin when you have them
on so we're going to take our skinny brow pencil in taupe what I'm going to do is if you are not sure where your brow should start you always go to the outside of your nose so the corner of your nose straight up so this will make a little Mark so that's where you would be putting the beginning of the stencil and then we do the ball of the nose you can just take the pencil over the ball of the nose across so basically where your iris is you're going to just do this is where
it should Arch so this is according to your bone structure and then we'll take the corner of the eye go straight up sometimes I like to cheat a little bit so I go a little bit so it's not dragging the brow down I'll go a little higher so there you have the beginning the arch and the end so when you go to put your stencil on you go to the front so you see where I'm putting the point just push it down just like this you see I'm exactly where I should be so this is
just you don't have to have it perfect this can be just just kind of like Scribble in very lightly so you have an idea of where your brow should be it doesn't have to be perfect I just want to get this basically an outline of it so you'll see when I take it off we have the brow there ready for us to now enhance so I'm going to just do these nice wispy Strokes giving some shape to the brow so I don't want to make very hard lines here I'm doing a light application with my
strokes and if you find that the pigment gathers too much just take the other end of it it's called your spoolie and you're going to see how it disperse the color really nicely and you go back in get exactly what shape that you want bring it down just a little bit so you're going to see we could go a little bit further down I just don't want to drag out the brow too much or bring it down too much I think it looks nice and natural just like this and then you can darken it a
little bit more for that structure now you can see how the brow really nicely came together I'm going to do the same thing on the other eye again outside of the nose straight up so I'm going to make my little Mark here that's the where it's going to start the brow ball of the nose straight across over the iris we're going to make it Arch right here and then corner of the eye straight up going to cheat just a tiny bit so ladies you can see the beautiful shape that we have for Peggy's eyebrows now
before we didn't see any she does have hair there but now we've really structured them out and you might say well Nicole those look really dark and she has white hair and I think it's too much well we haven't done any makeup yet we haven't really created anything besides these brows we do want to see them this is a beautiful taupe color really looks beautiful with her skin tone with her brow color that she has now and her blue eyes I didn't go with the soft gray because I felt like it might be too much
so I just went in with this beautiful taupe we have a very nice structure looks very natural another really important thing to to know ladies I learned this in permanent makeup school when I was in Los Angeles and we always would say because we were doing permanent makeup it wasn't with a brow pencil so this was actual pigment into the dermis of the skin so we would say that your brows are not twins but they're not distant cousins either so you never going to get brows exactly the same you can try but we have asymmetrical
faces so if you find that your brow reaches up a little bit more it's more arched here you can cheat and bring it up just a little bit more or you can give some more base to your brows maybe this one has a little bit more base you just have to look and see what the structure is for your face in the mirror and then just alter but they're never going to be exactly the same same it's just not possible I mean I've done thousands and thousands of brows and that's the first thing that I
would always say to anybody that just remember that the Brows you can try to get them as perfect as they look but they're never going to be the same I'm going to be starting off using the eye primer this is my favorite product this is going to neutralize out your eyes make your eyes shadow look true all day long it's really beautiful I'm going to be using our concealer brush and I'm going to L is more really you don't need a lot of this product it's a nice creamy product you're going to go from the
base of the lashes right here all the way up to the brow bone so you can see all of that pigmentation redness Blues pinks are now disappearing and you want to get right into that inner corner you make sure that you're really nicely covering the entire eyelid so you can see when Peggy closes her eyes that this is nicely primed you're going to see all of the purples and the pinks and the pigmentation just like I have on the eyelid and that's what you want to get rid of because when you go to put your
eyeshadow on it's going to mix with that pigmentation on your lid and it's going to turn into a totally different color so you want those really true beautiful colors and you don't want to be frustrated so this is your first step to really achieving that [Music] our next step is going to be with the naughty Nancy eyeshadow palette you have three eyeshadows in this palette they're tal free they're gluten-free and they go on really seamless and that's what I really wanted for you I didn't want you to fight with your ey Shadow I wanted it
to be something that could really easily blend so we're going to start with the middle color first I'm using my shadow brush that comes in your essential makeup brush kit these are 10 brushes this is all you need you don't need a total roll you don't need 50 brushes just keeping it very simple and easy these are a synthetic they're 100% vegan and we're going to start in the middle of the eye and you can build up the pigmentation as you want you can do a nice wash of color or you can do more of
a more intense look so you have a lot of range you don't have to worry they do have a nice Sheen to them it's not glitter it's not micro glitter it's none of that it's a nice Sheen because I want you to have a little bit of light on the eyes that's what I love about it you have a little bit of that Sheen I'm just going to turn the brush over on the clean side and use the first color just as a little [Music] highlight I'm going to take one of my favorite brush the
short smudge brush I like to also call it my little eraser brush if you make any mistakes you can just easily buff it out this is like your best friend when it comes to mistakes or maybe shaky hands I'm going into the darkest color and I'm going to just give a little bit of Contour just at the end here and you know it's really about you ladies making the decision for yourself on what you want to have on your Lids if you want to have Matt you can do matte if you want to have a
little Sheen it really isn't about the industry dictating your age and saying oh Peggy you're 76 you can't wear a Sheen on your eyes Becky you need to be wearing a mat like you can do whatever makes you feel good and it doesn't matter what the rules quote unquote are the rules are what Peggy makes for her eyes and what she feels beautiful we normally don't have a lot of Fallout with my Shadows but if you want to crisp up the ends I just use a little alme pad it's an eye makeup remover pad they
came out with these now they're biodegradable and this is the one that's oilfree I just clean up at the very end in case I feel like maybe I went outside the line a little bit maybe I just want to clean this up make sure it's nice and crisp it's not dragging down the eye that's what I do so there is a trending eyeliner kind of technique going around and it looks just as good on 20-year-olds that it does for 70y olds and I'm very excited about this so I have taught you on my channel for
over a decade that I don't like black liner for mature women I really just don't like black liner in General I like to have a dark chocolate because I feel like it's softer I think you can still get that definition you're really defining the eyes and it just makes you look fresh doesn't drag down I mean if you have dark circles underneath your eye and using a black liner now that's not to say if you love your black liner then ladies use your black liner I'm just saying if you are finding that it's not working
for you as you're increasing in decades then this is a really great trick for you so I'm going to be using a dark chocolate and I'm also going to be adding in our Plum so it's almost like this eggplant color that is really beautiful so if your granddaughter in her 20s is wanting to use it you can also use it too and I love that I love that for women that are in their 70s and 80s and Beyond being able to utilize trends that are happening now something that's fresh something that's beautiful and my technique
is going to be very simple so look down you want to stay as close to your lash line as possible so you're almost almost just building up that lash line so if you don't have a lot of lashes it's going to make you look like you have more definition around the eyes these are very creamy so you can see I don't have to push a lot of pressure if I put a lot of pressure on Peggy's eye right now I'm going to get a really thick line and I don't want that you can see I'm
right here at that base of that lash line it looks so beautiful it's not overwhelming her eye this is a really important thing for women in their over their 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s is to really master that eyeliner you don't want that heaviness you don't want to make your eyes look smaller you really want to give that really nice definition and if you have more hooded eyes you can still work with your eyeliner you just have to figure out the technique that works for you [Music] now this is the perfect time to show you
with my little eraser brush so I just mentioned my short smudge brush how it can help if you do anything that you don't love if you have more of you can see on this line here it's not so e even so all I have to do is just nicely drag it across and it's going to give it that softness it's going to kind of blend it all in so it doesn't look like maybe I kind of skipped d a little bit it just nicely goes into this beautiful kind of smudged look still keeping that definition
and then now what we're going to do is we are going to add a little bit of that Plum on top so it's like that nice Dimension you're not just getting one if you want to experiment maybe you're a little bored with doing one color this is you can always mix and you can always get that different color you're going to see it a little bit it's not going to be too obvious so I'm going to just layer right on top of my dark chocolate this beautiful Plum [Music] color I'm just going to give a
nice little kind of smudge over here to match the other [Music] eye I'm going to take my dark chocolate and go right underneath to balance out the eye just nicely on the bottom lash line not too thick just giving some nice def again this is a really nice pencil to be smooth on Aging eyes it's not pulling and tugging just going to give you a nice [Music] application and then we just go back with our smudge brush just nicely make sure we got that nice and Blended we're going to take our volume up this is
mascara that is so beautiful I created this for mature lashes because I know how frustrating it is to have short lashes that don't grab the mascara you have a big brush and it just rolls over them and then you're like where where's the masc where's mascara where are my lashes so this grabs every single lash as you probably know and it really gives you more than what you have so if you have these little lashes that you don't see it all look down you're going to see we go to the base we grab what lashes
that we have and we get mascara coating each and every one so it's really nice it really brings out the lashes so you might think oh I have no lashes Nicole it's never going to work it will because you're going to see Peggy has little bit of lashes curling up and it's going to grab them and really coat them and separate them [Music] so now we have mascara on both eyes really pulling out all the lashes giving her that definition which is really really beautiful now we're going to do something that I've been wanting to
do I've been showing you these press on lashes I usually use Ardell 420s which are really nice and wispy they're called naked lashes but I luckily found the Press on nakeds and then wispies and I thought these are already preglued how perfect for my Fierce aging series I know you can do this so I wanted to show you on Peggy like what they look like I don't know I don't know what these are going to look like we're these are definitely a little bit more dramatic than my lashes that go on the top these go
underneath your lashes so I felt like if you have a hard time seeing and you can't close your eyes to put on false lashes these you actually keep your eye open and you look underneath your lash so you just attaches underneath your lash it's just I still don't believe that it exists but we're going to try on Peggy to see and we're going to use the shortest ones I'm going to be just using eights that's 8 millimeter that's what we have here I hopefully we'll have enough we maybe we'll do couple tens we'll see what
we have [Music] here so you can see this beautiful lashes Now They are thicker as in they are going to be a little bit more dramatic because we are putting them underneath we're not doing it on top so they're darker they still look very natural they're just much more enhanced more defining the eye how do they feel I don't even feel them not at all not at all right not at all what I'm going to do is this is my little sneaky eyeliner trick that I did I have a video on it and when I
would be doing makeup I don't want to see underneath like I want to connect this water line This tight line with the lashes so I'm just coloring that in so I don't see that so I can make sure that it all looks like one one nice seamless lash so just going underneath just like that not too much so you're going to see right here you're going to see that nude color we're going to just take it away and it's going to look really nice and dramatic look down [Music] what we're going to do now is
we're going to neutralize out the the skin so you might be feeling like oh my gosh not her eyes look so dark or they're just so much of course we don't have anything on the skin we haven't put the lips on the blush we didn't put the whole thing together so you have to trust the process so I'm going to be using no redness Peggy was talking about how she has rosacea so she does have a lot of redness on the nose and on the cheek area so that's going to be my first step is
that I'm going to take my green color corrector that cancels out red so we're going to apply this to all the little areas that we see this redness we don't have to cover the whole entire face we want to really be strategic about it come down and just where I see where we have any kind of redness we're going to be using just peachy for the darkness or any of the pigmentation that you've seen me do before I will take my Foundation buffing brush and I will just work this into the skin so what this
is doing is it's neutralizing out that redness it's not going to be showing through when she puts on her BB cream I'm going to just really nicely work this into the skin you can work it in with your fingers too if you want to I feel like you get a really nice kind of buffing into the skin a little bit more seamless when you use a brush not your fingers so you can see instantly that we brought that red this down this is what we want to do now we're going to go in with our
just peachy this is a peach color corrector to cancel out the blues the Grays anything else that you see on the skin I like to do it underneath the Eyes First this does have shea butter in it so it's nice and smooth but you also want to make sure like we did prior to putting Peggy's makeup on is really hydrate the skin you don't want to be taking any of your color correctors concealer just to dry un ated skin you're not going to get the same application you have to prep the skin so you can
see if you have a little pigmentations you can hit them with the just peachy just like this underneath the eye I like to take a clean blending brush it's very nice and fluffy and I can go underneath the eyes it almost gives this like an airbrushed kind of feel like this is going to nicely just work itself in but I'm not moving it around too much that's why I like to use this brush sometimes where it's just really nicely being able to work the product into the skin and then you get a nice finish now
for the face to work that in I'm going to take my Foundation buffing brush I'm just going to work the just peachy in on those little pigmentation spots and then we'll go over with our BB cream I'm going to be taking our BB cream and light this is a beautiful BB cream it's really nice and light it's going to give you a nice coverage it's buildable but it's not going to be heavy in covering the skin again I'm just working with my Foundation buffing brush I'm going to press the product into the brush you want
to make sure that you get the whole brush really seasoned with the BB cream and then I'm going to the same kind of motion I'm going to basically be buffing it in I don't want to do it too hard I want to really work the product into the skin having it look really nice and seamless I'm going to teach you really nice trick I have shown this before but you notice that I did the BB cream and we didn't do the concealer yet so we can do the concealer after BB cream it depends not to
get confused because there is no right or wrong on how you're applying so if we want to neutralize out the skin and then go back and say okay I don't need that much because I just color corrected you're not over dispensing your product like you're not putting too much on and then feeling like oh I have so much on right now so that's the way I wanted to do it today with Peggy so we're going to do two different con coners I'm going to be using our fair and our light and I'm going to be
using our blending brush this is a brand new one so there's no color on this right now so I'm going to show you the technique to do if you feel that you have maybe some bags you have some kind of shadowing if you will I'm going to take our first our light I'm going to take the concealer and I'm going to I don't want a lot because remember I just color corrected so I'm going to take the light right underneath where I would normally put my concealer now I'm going to take the the fair and
I'm going to just give it right where we have this like it kind of dips down and it gets a little bit darker you could call this a little mosaic if you [Music] will so the key is is that I made this this applicator the do foot it's a dome so you could precisely do what I'm doing so you don't have a huge D foot that's stamping a lot of concealer on your face you're being little precise you're saying oh the inner Corner needs it or you know what this little Groove needs to have just
this lightning so you have a lot of range with it you don't feel like oh gosh I just put on a ton now I got to take it off I'm going to just nicely again use with like wispy Strokes underneath the eye area here now they're going to mix together which is fine it's basically just lightening this area not moving it around too much but giving her that [Music] lift going to take my Nikita banana again this is T free glutenfree it's really a beautiful brightening powder same brush I'm just going to you know just
kind of Glide it across not too much tap off if you feel that you might have too much on it and then I'm going to just set underneath the eyes I'm not adding a lot of weight that's something that again as a mature woman you want to do nice thin layers so this is going to just set what we just did bringing it [Music] down before I get to the cheeks and adding that beautiful color we're going to use Rosé all day our waterproof lip liner we're going to start adding that color into the lips
and the cheeks which will bring everything together so I'm going to be just lining Peggy's lips outlining [Music] them now you have a really beautiful outline of your lips using a waterproof very creamy lip liner I'm going to be using the other side of my concealer brush it's a lip brush you just pull it out and I'm going to be using actually I Ken you know it's funny I think that I Love Actually A Ken for my ladies in their seven because I feel that in this decade that you say you know what actually I
can like I think you are probably the most confident decky from the ladies that have been on the channel they have a beautiful color very high shine actually I can looks beautiful on a mature lip going to be taking our Cream Blush in St Barts this is really a beautiful just it brings life to the cheeks to smile now you can it depends you know there's there's a whole another thing with where you apply your blush you can apply your blush where you feel the most comfortable we want to lift the face so you want
to concentrate on going up you don't want to bring it down too far but you know I like sometimes to have the blush on my cheeks right here because that's where I normally flush and then I bring it up you know so if you feel I just don't want my ladies watching the show thinking like oh I'm doing everything wrong every every channel tells me something different do what you feel makes you look beautiful don't listen to you know all of the channels if there's something I'm doing that you feel you don't look great doing
then don't do it do what what you feel and how you apply it that's really what I want you to be doing but the important thing is is to be doing it you know doing whatever it is put the makeup on put the mascara on feel good feel confident you can use your fingers or I go back to the flat foundation brush it's really nice because it works it into the skin it makes it look like one skin doesn't look like it's just sitting on top of your skin so it just really really nicely comes
together so with St Barts you get a nice creamy blush looking beautiful radiant bringing your skin up just a little bit with that color one of my last steps is going to be with my lip gloss called Shams this is short for champagne it's like one of my favorite things because you know how they will Top a cocktail with a little bit of champagne it's like the same thing that we're doing just adding a little bit of that gloss I'm going to do it on the bottom bottom and right here on the top and it
just gives you that extra just a little bit of freshness we're going to end the makeup tutorial with just a little Rose setting spray it's a little hydration smells really beautiful and gives us just that ending smells beautiful right you feel just really nice and hydrated I can't believe it's me I love the eyebrows too I love it what do you think about the lashes like would you wear them I can't even of course I would because you can't see them and yet I mean I can't feel them but I see them so but I
don't know that they're there I look and think are that my those are my lashes but they're not well what's what happens is now is that when you take off the lashes you're going to say there's no lashes what happens you're going to think that they took your lashes with them and they didn't it's just you get used to seeing that and then you're like wait I don't have so then you'll love them oh gosh I love them now but they're so easy press them like I know yeah you just press them on they stay
yeah okay I don't have the Press on so I have to get the Press on and they're at the the drugstore it's so expensive thank you so much ladies for being a part of our Fierce aging Series today this is our first one going into our sixth season we're so excited so subscribe to our Channel share with your friends if you think that they'd be inspired by Peggy's story and her beauty and until my next video we'll see you later thanks for watching another exciting episode of fierce aging Series where we celebrate age and women
