DEGENESIS LORE DROP: THE NEEDLE TOWER DISASTER

foreign welcome everybody to the first of hopefully many degenesis Lord drop videos in this video I will focus on one significant part of the degenesis meta plot this video is separated into three parts part one will contain light spoilers every player should be allowed to know when playing a game of D Genesis that focuses on today's topic part 2 will contain medium spoilers only DMS should probably be aware of in part 3 we will dive deep into heavy spoiler territory connecting the dots laid out in all degenesis books published so far I hope you will

enjoy my video like comment and subscribe for more the Needle tower disaster in the year 2563 16 fragments of the chroniclers the highest ranking members of The Cult were sent across the Reaper's blow in East boraca the Reaper's blow is a tectonic phenomenon starting high in boracas I see North then cutting through the Alps in a Southward Ark to reach Africa's Coast at the bottom of the Mediterranean along this line the ground is torn asunder giant sheets of rock the size of cities form a scar many hundreds of kilometers long only eight of the fragments

survived their job was to create a network similar to the West walking scrap trade their first goal was to establish control over a series of tower structures called needle Towers in the East Orkin Woods they endeavored to create a radio connection between the needle towers and the central cluster in justician the remaining fragments conquered the towers and radioed their success to the cluster then their actions deviated from the plan the remaining fragments surrounded themselves with an army of and mercenaries and ceased answering requests from the cluster back home on the other side of the Reaper's

blow there is not much information on the Rogue fragments all information about them is highly classified and may neither be sold nor shared within the order that said four of them are known to even the lowest rags at least by name two of them chromium and iridium were set to have founded cities constructing needle Towers seen as Miracles clad in glass and polished steel and communicating via mirrors another one promethium was supposed to expand the radio line close to Osman into a relay station according to Legends he has instead dug a tunnel into the great

Osman Library Cobalt is the only other fragment whose name is known by anyone outside of the highest ranks water claimed to have seen him near praha where he led a host of savages the remaining identities of the Rogue fragments have been successfully removed from all databases as though they encapsulated and sunk into the core as if their names alone carried power as these Rogue fragments grow out of control the remaining fragments in the cluster take Extreme Measures they activate shutters and fuses Elite chroniclers whose barcodes have not been registered in the cluster for years their

official score is zero they exist beyond the common system yet are still very much present within an isolated mirror of the static stream only high ranking chroniclers know of their existence and among them few have the passcode to issue orders to the Unseen shutters and fuses it's better this way for those few who thrive on the fringes are adapts and dark deeds and use sanctioned meaning deadly tools as the most technologically advanced thieves and assassins in this cult the Rogue fragments are now only known as needles and they are being hunted it is rumored that

the aid remaining needles have separated into two groups of four one group being called preservers while the others are labeled defectors traitors even it is however unclear whether this information is true or just a carefully crafted piece of chronic or propaganda adhering to the numerological ideology of the cult foreign the store skis are a clan located in East orca they have Wrestled a ramified line of train tracks from the Wildland which they travel in their locomotives these locomotives are giant iron snakes with steel shutters over their windows and wheels with battlements secured by chains some

of which are equipped with coal catapults or steam throwers dwelling in close proximity to the needle Towers the store skis have made a pact with a rogue chronicler fragments that now rule over the towers the storesky main train called the carbon plays a significant role in this act it is over 500 meters long and runs between the needle Towers chromium and iridium it is a rolling City with multi-story extra wide wagons ordellos manufacturers and a casino a cooperation with the needles broad electric benefits prices for food ammunition and slaves as well as the sad songs

of the engineers drawn out over the intercoms chromium and iridium have stopped communicating only via mirrors they have begun paying the store skis and slaves and weapons to maintain the track lines between the two needle towers and regularly re-tap the bolts to feed in a carrier wave on which to modulate messages [Music] the needles are in search of an artifact called geomet's will consisting of three components a disc star and the spear the chronicler Empire who has studied the events of the Needle tower disaster is afraid that johama's will has the power to locate the

last server suspected to be located on the moon and containing all of Humanity's lost knowledge should the needles get their hands on the artifact the Renegade chroniclers would be able to Uplink to the last server and reboot the Stream the needle Towers could function as the uplink a group of renegade chroniclers Reawakening the stream without supervision from the cluster could lead to disaster [Music] the fragment impulse who is still a powerful member of the chroniclers and justician was one of the masterminds behind the Needle tower operation before it turned into a disaster the chroniclers knew

that the bygones had hidden the last server on the moon and they had located the needle Towers in East Orca the Clusters only opportunity to Ping the last server this was the true goal of the Needle tower operation a power struggle among the fragments resulted from the question of how to go about the task of restarting the Stream impulse ensured the other fragments that all disputes could be settled all decisions could be made after the cluster had taken control of the needle Towers and so the 16 fragments were sent across the Reaper's blow while impulse

stayed in justician impulse had forged a secret pact with galeabot Reuben Abraham the jahamadan ruler of Osman to destroy his Rivals as soon as they stepped foot on East Oregon soil he betrayed the Rival fragments sent over the Reaper's blow the fragments were attacked by Abraham's Fighters and only a handful survived it is unclear which of the needles died during the attack but it seems that either only four or eight of them remained the needles knew that impulse was the one who betrayed them and swore to take revenge against him and the cluster by creating

an Uplink to the last server by themselves impulse knows of their plan and tries everything in his power to stop them he has obtained an object called the fulger from a scrapper named Xander who found the object in the ruins of exiled which the needles need for their goal impulse tried to hide the fielger by giving it to the leader of the apocalyptics the mother of ravens but she refused he is still in possession of the fulger which leads the needles directly towards him but impulse Bears another terrible Secret The Marauder trick law has installed

the device into impulses larynx monitoring his every word trick law is aware of the needle's plan and knows the terrible consequences a restart of the last server would lead to impulse is trigloss tool for stopping the needles the needles not only want to create an Uplink to the last server but also want to reach the space station and buy knur that once sent members of the recombination group into space before the eschaton apparently they want to follow the prophet jehamat to the Stars they need three items for their plan to work the trisiclion a paler's

sun disk that will allow them access to the station and baikonur the fulgar small atomic reactor the size of a palm which they want to use to power the starsky's main train the carbon through the Spore wall that blocks the way to buy knur thirdly they need jahamut's will which among other things contains a star map that is set to hold the location of the prophet jahamut the plan of the needles is nearing its completion the trisiclionis in their hands after they stole it from the pious of vrotskloof a sleeper Prophet Who Rose to power

in pollen main train the carbon is fully equipped at the behest of their eight Masters the store skis have spent the past 20 years constructing the train and repairing the tracks that lead through the dense forests of Eastern borka along these tracks the four needle Towers extend into the sky the towers chromium iridium bismuth and promethium all wait to be powered so they can fulfill their function as uplinks to the last server the energy the carbon will create with its last Passage is the only thing missing the needle corium has entered justician in search of

the fulger his story functions as one of the main plot lines of the justician books from The Chronicle scalar nullify a loose cannon of the cult with unknown allegiances he learned that the fjulgar is an impulses possession and with the help of a rogue chronicler named membrane he tries to get his hands on the device corium has forged an alliance with the paler demagogue Vesna who commands a horde of palers that stalked the underground of justician whether or not corium succeeds in his attempt to obtain the fjulgar is not clear all we know is that

many different actors and factions follow their own plan to stop the needles apart from impulse and the cluster who already plan a preemptive strike against the carbon in search of the treziclion Ruka a paler hierarch has infiltrated the carbon and hit award the massive train from a safe Nook in one of the supply wagons he radios information about the carbon structure and configuration to his demagogue nakit the pious monitors the machinations of the needles from his hideout in vrotsklov he uses every trick in the book to stop the carbon from Crossing through his domain and

has made a pact with the neolibian raid of fees whose Scorchers are ready to attack the train there is also a secret plan from the cluster to detonate the tower iridium which is protected by the apocalyptics of the ghost feather flock they are Raven was promised that she'd be taken along on the journey to baikonur where she expects her own prophecy to be revealed as foretold by the tarot many questions remain unanswered still for example who are the remaining needles we know of chromium iridium promethium Cobalt corium and eject who is only named once in

a short paragraph in the chronicler section corium is alive and injustician but what about the others bismuth another needle or just the name of a needle Tower and if bismuth is a needle who is the last of the eight and what is nullify's deal does he support the needle to end game or is he a loose cannon going his own way hopefully some of these questions will be answered in the future if so you'll hear it in the D Genesis Discord first which I can strongly recommend but you will hear it here second I promise
