if you are anything like me you have been throwing down these past couple of weeks okay but honey it is time to just cleanse myself of everything going on and just have a nice little reset I love to use this juice to do that not only is it easy to make it is really delicious let's go ahead and get started the fruits I am using today is green apple cucumber and pineapple I know some of y'all are saying isn't cucumber a vegetable well technically it is a fruit because the seeds are on the inside okay
and I also have a root of Ginger and I'll be using a few other ingredients later on in the video I am going to use Dr Bronner Salsas to thoroughly clean the outsides of this fruit now getting organic is of course the best but even with Organic they're still going to use some pesticides on your fruits and vegetables so since I am going to be using the peel in this juice I am going to spray them with a spray that I make that has about a teaspoon or two of Broner Sala and some water and
I'm going to scrub them very aggressively the scrubbing combined with the salsas will remove as much dirt and pesticides as possible y'all we can't get everything but you know what we can just do the best that we can so I'm going to start start by first prepping the pineapple by cutting off the top and the tail then I am going to peel off the skin I'm going to cut pretty deeply because I don't want any of those little eyes I'm also going to cut out the middle because that is a very hard core I'm then
going to take the pineapple pills as well as the pineapple core I'm going to place them in a pot and I'm going to put them in the stove with just enough water to cover or equal the amount of pineapple pills that I have you don't want to get excessive with this because I actually want this water to boil down however I'll be using this pineapple flavored water to help me blend the juice I'm going to let it boil on high for about 10 minutes and then I'm going to cut it off while that is boiling
I'm going to prep the rest of my fruits so I finished chopping up the pineapple and then I'm going to move on to this cucumber which I am also not going to peel y'all cucumber is great for weight loss it has tons of water in it it's great for lowering your blood sugar it has tons of fiber super healthy and refreshing fruit I'm also going to use the green apple and leave the peel on now you may be wondering can I use a different colored apple well sure you definitely can however because the Granny Smith
apples are lower in Sugar that is what I picked also if you choose a red apple and leave the skin on it will probably change the color of your juice now that has nothing to do with the flavor but I think it may actually start looking a slightly murky Brown may not be the cutest but you know what you may not care about that okay for the ginger you can either peel the ginger or not peel the ginger if you want to peel it you can use a spoon to do so I'm just demonstrating how
to do it here and then I am going to cut it into medium to medium small chunks you do need to chop it up because your blender or juicer for that matter will have a very hard time with a whole piece of Ginger then I'm going to also place that to the side at this point you should see that the water has reduced on the pineapples so I'm going to drain this water and then I'm going to place this pineapple flavored water in the fridge to cool down for about 10 to 15 minutes I also
have a lemon here I've cleaned that thoroughly as well and then I'm going to roll it to get out that extra juice okay cuz I'm not leaving nothing behind and I'm going to squeeze it all over that Apple because I don't want no Brown apples okay I know it's getting blended but you know I'm just particular about my food and the lemon also going to add a nice brightness to the juice so delicious okay you have two options for how to make your juice you can either take your whole fruits and put them in a
juicer and just get a pure juice that way you know if you got it like that and you got a juicer okay baby I don't have it like that okay and I don't have a juicer but I know that most of us do have a blender so I'm going to place place in about a four of my fruits with about half of the water that pineapple water that is and then I am going to blend this until it is you know well Blended up okay now I'm going to take advantage that there's already a good
amount of liquid in the blender so I'm just going to add more fruit to that until it reaches the blender's maximum line and then I'm going to blend that again until it is finally Blended you have two options for how to get the juice out of you know away from the pulp now I guess if you want to have the pulp and have like a smoothie situation okay baby I'm not going to stop you okay but baby I want a juice juice okay so the first thing you can do is take a strainer and just
push your juice through the strainer that can work however it takes a little bit longer and your pulp is not going to be able to get as dry but hey you know don't let anything be a barrier for you okay my favorite option is a nutmilk bag this one actually just came with my blender so what I do is put all the pulp in the juice inside of this and then I squeeze it really well now you going to get a little bit of a finger workout okay go ahead and build up them finger muscles
but the benefit of doing it this way is that you can really squeeze out all the goodness okay baby we ain't leaving no nutrients no nothing behind and the pop gets fairly dry if you decide to that you want your juice to be sweeter I suggest adding something like Truvia or Stevia I don't suggest adding honey because that is going to spike your blood sugar to take this juice to the next level we are going to be adding some organic apple cider vinegar with the mother and I don't add this to the whole juice okay
cuz everybody in my family don't like that okay I'm going to just add this as I serve it so I'm going to take a tablespoon of Apple vinegar and then into my glass I'm going to add anywhere from 8 to 12 oz of the juice and then I'm going to do something else okay we're not going to stop here then I'm going to add a serving of this complete fiber this is a 4in one it has celium husk chia seeds inulin AA it's all ground up I take this fiber because adding that extra fiber can
help to regulate your blood sugar as well as help you be more regular this fiber has a slightly sweet taste and blends in perfectly with the juice okay y'all so let's talk about how to drink this juice I usually have like 8 oz right before I have my breakfast the fiber as well as the apple cider vinegar are going to help curb any insulin Spike that I may get before I breakfast and it's also going to help me to feel full you then want to have a protein fill breakfast this is not the time to
P the pancakes and the waffles and the muffins baby we're talking eggs with maybe a little bit of sauté mushrooms and spinach and one thin slice of whole wheat bread okay like a seated bread would be perfect okay you could also maybe have this with a little bit of oatmeal and egg but I really suggest that you have that protein because it's going to make you feel full as well as the fiber from the juice and y'all I can tell you this this juice is not hard to drink because it is actually delici ious it's
