things cannot last in front of God God does not like it when people do wrong it's like saying that in God's area only those who do right can stay because God expects us to live by good values this verse can help us when we feel frustrated with unfairness or wrongdoing it reminds us that ultimately God does not tolerate bad behavior it encourages us to follow God's way of Truth and Justice giving us hope that wrongdoers will not succeed forever in the Bible the story of the great flood in Noah time reflects this the world was

full of wrongdoing and God decided to start over with Noah a righteous man this shows us that God upholds what is right and does not let the foolish actions of people last in his sight next Psalm 5:6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing Thou shalt abore the bloody and deceitful man this verse declares that God will put an end to those who lie and those who harm others it shows that God strongly dislikes deceit and violence it's like saying that God will take action against those who are not honest and those who hurt others

because these actions are against his ways when we are hurt by lies or violence this verse offers Comfort by affirming that God is against such actions it reassures us that God stands for truth and kindness and that he will deal with those who oppose these values the story of ananas and safira in the book of Acts who lied to the holy spirit and faced God's judgment illustrates the seriousness with which God views deceit their story warns us of the consequences of lying and reassures us that God maintains Justice next Psalm 5:7 but as for me

I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy and in thy fear will I worship toward thy Holy Temple this verse expresses a personal promise to visit God's house thankful for his Mercy it means the person will go to a place where they can worship God because they are grateful for the kindness God has shown them it's like saying I will come to your house God because you are so good to me and I will show you my respect when people feel thankful for the good things in their lives they often want

to show gratitude this verse encourages us to thank God in places where we feel close to him like in church showing our respect and love through worship because of his Mercy towards us this attitude can be seen in the the story of King Solomon when he built the temple for God in Jerusalem Solomon came to God's house with respect and gratitude leading his people in worship because of God's mercy and greatness Solomon's dedication to the temple shows us how to express our gratitude and reverence for God next Psalm 5:8 Lead Me O Lord in thy

righteousness because of mine enemies make thy way straight before my face this verse is asking God for guidance to live a right life especially when facing enemies it's like asking for a clear path to walk on without stumbling so nothing wrong can be said about them the person is seeking God's help to do the right thing even when it's hard because of others who may not be kind when we Face challenges or people who may not like us this verse reminds us to ask God for help to stay good and true it suggests that God

can show us the right way to handle tough situations keeping us on a path that is good and straight the biblical figure Daniel lived this way even when facing enemies in Babylon who tried to harm him Daniel asked God for guidance and remained honest and true his story shows that God can lead us through difficult times keeping us on a path of righteousness next Psalm 5:9 for there is no faithfulness in their mouth their inward part is very wickedness their throat is an open Seiler they flatter with their tongue this verse describes people who are

not honest and have bad intentions it says that nothing good or true comes from their mouths instead their words are harmful like a grave that is open and ready to swallow up goodness they use nice words but only to trick or deceive others when we encounter deceitful or manipulative people this verse warns us to be careful it reminds us of the importance of being aware of the true intentions behind sweet sounding Words which might not be honest in the New Testament Jesus warned about such people comparing them to whitewashed tombs that look beautiful outside but

are full of bones inside he taught us to be cautious of those who appear good outwardly but are not truthful or good-hearted next Psalm 5:10 destroy thou them oh God let them fall By Their Own counsels cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions for they have rebelled against thee this verse is a plea for God to deal with deceitful people according to their actions it asks God to let these people face the consequences of their own bad decisions and to remove them because of their many wrongdoings it's a request for justice for those

who go against God's ways to face the outcomes of their choices when we feel wronged or upset by Injustice this verse expresses a desire for accountability it reassures us that God sees the wrongs and can handle them appropriately allowing us to trust in his judgment rather than seeking Revenge ourselves the story of hmon in the Book of Esther illustrates this Hamman plotted against the Jewish people but ultimately his plans led to his own downfall his story reflects the principle that those who plot evil will fall by their own schemes demonstrating God's justice next Psalm 5:1

those who live rightly it's like saying God will surround a good person with favor as if covering them with a shield that keeps them safe it ensures that those who follow God's ways and do what is right will receive His blessings and protection This Promise can be a great comfort when we try to live good lives despite challenges it reassures us that God recognizes our efforts to be righteous and rewards us with his protective presence much like a shield that guards us from harm the story of Abraham in Genesis shows this promise in action God
