if you're a Fiverr freelancer and you're struggling to maintain a consistent flow of orders or even get your first order I'm going to go over three key aspects in this video that will help boost your five gig orders almost immediately if you follow each of these steps exactly so let's get into it now key aspect number one is all about your gig title and your thumbnail as these are the two most important things as these are the things that any potential buyer is going to see first before even deciding to click onto your gig now
your gig title does need to be somewhat SEO optimized meaning it does need to have keywords that are going to help buyers find you and put you into the category that you want to be in and there are a couple of ways that we can actually do this now let's take my Niche for example I offer video creation services and if I look through my competitors I would see the main keywords that they're using is spokesperson ugc vsl video content and these are the kind of keywords that they would be using within my Niche so
I would know that these are the keywords that I need to also use in my title now don't feel like you have to be unique with your title because there are thousands of competitors out there so it's going to be impossible not to somewhat copy somebody else's title it's just going to happen so don't worry about that that's completely normal now that's one way of doing it is by looking at your competitors another way is by joining the fiver seller plus program because this does give you some advantages so on your dashboard if you go
to analytics and we go to keyword research this will give you all of the keywords which are ranking so these are the keywords which are most searched for and we can search by category so let's say if we go to writing and translation let's go for website content now as we can see we have seven different keywords here that we can use now we can see the search volume we've got high medium medium high so out of the seven options here we've got three highly searched keywords and those are website content writer website content and
SEO website content writer so as we can see actually there are really four yeah four individual keywords here so it's SEO website content and writer so we know straight away that we want to try to include at least two of these keywords into our title if we can include all four that would be amazing now once you sign up to this you can actually look through every single category so if we go subcategories let's go article and blogs let's have SEO writing and we can see right now the top keywords are blog writing SEO blog
content writing SEO content writer so this is actually a great tool because it will actually allow you to customize more gigs for yourself so rather than having one gig that tries to cover everything you can then actually see that okay this is a highly searchable term let's say blog writing I will now create a gig purely for blog writing and that's something I want to come to right now here are threee gigs which are currently live from other sellers in the copywriting category and I just want to focus on the titles right here and show
you exactly what they're doing wrong so we have the first one here I will create powerful sales ad and website copyrighting second one is I will solve all your copyrighting needs and the third one is I will copyright your Facebook ads to supercharge your sales now only one of these is the correct way of doing things maybe you've already guessed it maybe not but let me show you so the problem is this first one I will create powerful sales ad and website copyrighting so actually what he's already done here is try to generalize his one
gig way too much now if he had focused purely on sales and AD copy that's completely fine because they're two of the same things but because he then added website copyrighting and I'm pretty sure the reason why he wanted to do this was just to add another keyword to help him rank but the problem is now he's kind of becoming a jack of all trades and the issue with that is you're not actually specializing in any one thing so me as a potential buyer I would look at this and be like okay he's probably good
at what he does but generally he's offering everything and I just want one thing and I want somebody to be good at one thing so if he advertises purely a sales copy I would be like okay yeah I'll click on it but he doesn't un fortunately he's trying to generalize a little bit too much and that is a big negative and something you shouldn't do what he should do in this case is actually create another gig for website copyrighting and just specialize website copywriting on a completely different gig because they're two separate things the second
one David and I spoke about David in my previous video and he's popping up again now I will solve all your copyrighting needs okay David fantastic but generally are you telling me that you're going to be great at sales copy great at website copy great at email copy no there's no chance that he's going to be fantastic at all of these but that's what he's trying to do and that's what he's telling potential buyers and again this is a big no no so you need to be very specific however Sam has completely nailed it for
me I will copyright your Facebook ads to supercharge sales so this gig he has specialized purely on ad copy but more than that he's focused purely on Facebook ads this is absolutely fantastic and you can see he's doing really well so he's a top rated seller his starting price is $65 which is more than the other two and he's got a thousand plus feedback already so he is specialized in a certain area now this doesn't mean you can't specialize in other areas just put them under different gigs you don't just have to have one gig
you can have multiple gigs so that's exactly what you need to do with your title specialized be specific now let's get to the thumbnail because while we still look at these real quick we can see actually this one here that I will create powerful sales ad and website copyrighting now one thing he's done in his thumbnail he has copyrighting that sells your stuff like umbrellas on a rainy day that's cool a little bit humorous I like it but generally his thumbnail is pretty terrible there's way too much writing as you can see when it's a
small size you can't even make out what it says because of the font that he's using so it's very difficult to to read and to see plus there's just way too much text and here are another two examples so these are also in the copyrighting niche I just wanted to stay consistent with copywriting we have gram now Graham is you know he's got his face on the thumbnail which is always good you're a freelancer make sure to sell yourself and be more personal so that's good however the Fone that he's chosen to use and the
amount of text on his thumbnail it's messy and again nobody can read it however we have this second one here which is a good example of a good thumbnail again we have her face which is great we have SEO website content in big bold lettering which is very easy to read and then we have the three key points we have website copy landing pages home and about us so as you can see she's tailored this gig purely to website content and this is a very nice thumbnail and it does stand out from the rest so
your title needs to be specific and your thumbnail needs to be clear if you can include your face in the thumbnail that is going to be a massive winner okay key aspect number two is about making yourself stand out on Fiverr with video content and profile links now the problem is with Fiverr everybody has exactly the same constraints they can only upload a small video they can only upload so much to their portfolio everybody is under the same constraints on Fiverr you can't be unique on Fiverr but you need to try now the only way
to really be unique and really make make yourself Stand Out is through video content so for example I've just searched in the category brand style guides now this is a great one because generally brand style guides are all about creating well guides for Brands whether it's colors fonts maybe icons or images but one thing you can see from all of this one they all generally look the same and two nobody is really offering any video content of themselves now as we scroll down we can see the only three that have really caught my eye are
these three here because they're actually using a face ah okay Gabriella has done a video and this is perfect so she's created a video of herself speaking to the camera now when you create video content you don't need anything fancy because you're a freelancer people will buy you and you need to become personal with that with that potential buyer and this is exactly what she has done here which is absolutely fantastic so she's just talking to the camera explaining who she is what she does maybe there's no intense editing here whatsoever she might even be
following a script maybe not you don't have to follow a script you can just talk to the camera and it's about showing that authenticity that potential buyers will buy into you okay and as you can see she's doing really well top rated four orders in Q her starting price is $250 her maximum price is $1,450 for her premium gig so she's doing really well she's already worked with some really decent clients and this is something as you can see if we go back nobody nobody body else is offering video content on the first page here
or yeah nobody they all look exactly the same and this is what you really need to do you need to be personal this is the only way that you're going to be able to stand out on Fiverr so first one is video content now getting used to being in front of a camera is a little bit hard but honestly I promise you it will be worth it okay even if you don't have perfect English it really doesn't matter you can easily add subtitles to your video as well but at the end of the day the
potential buyer is going to buy you as well as your services okay now the second thing to kind of stand out a little bit more what you can do let's go back to Gabrielle real quick so what you can do is in your description and this is what I've done in mine now she hasn't got it here but what I would potentially do is add a URL Link in your description and this would show uh send people to your portfolio now this portfolio can be whever ever you want it to be it can be a
Cana portfolio it can be a dedicated website portfolio this can be whatever you want and actually if you do decide to create a website portfolio you can put the URL in your description so that people can then copy and paste it into a browser and it will send them to your portfolio and there's nothing stopping you from having a contact form on that portfolio and potentially some of your potential buyers and Fiverr might contact you directly and that will kind of save you the 20% Commission that fiver would take if you can take him off
the platform like that because technically you're not doing anything wrong here okay and it is absolutely fine to add a URL Link in your description so that is another thing that you can do and it kind of just it allows you to be more unique and more creative outside of the Fiverr platform key aspect number three and that is about being unique with your packages now just like I've been unique with mine so if we actually look at my profile very quickly we can see actually one of my gigs I was fairly unique with because
what I did was I did something that actually nobody else in my Niche is doing I started offering monthly YouTube subscriptions so basically it meant that rather than people just purchasing one gig from me and basically like one gig would normally be one video they could actually sign up to a subscription a monthly subscription of four videos per month now of course they can have a custom offer and they can have more videos if they want but generally this has worked really well for me so my main problem with this though was that video content
actually costs a fair amount to produce yeah it's not a cheap option so for example my starting price is $600 which is actually really cheap and then we have standard $850 and premium 1,300 so but this has worked it hasn't worked quite as well as I would have liked it to and I think that is mainly down to the price the starting price if I could manage to bring that down cheaper then I think it would work better but at this moment I can't but I do have some ideas later on but this is still
working well and I do have clients who purchase this package and for me that's great because you know it's a big lump sum of money they send me four scripts for videos and I can pump those all out in the same day and send it off to them so this is great it means that you know these clients can get it a little bit cheaper rather than buying the video separately and this is all about being unique cuz I'm pretty much I'm sure I'm the only person on Fiverr in my Niche that is offering such
a thing at the moment and I want to let's go to thumbnails because I know a lot of you are graphic designers and you can create thumbnails and thumbnail design is a huge one but this is the situation so let me just let's go into the footsteps of a new freelancer entering fiber okay I'm a new freelancer I'm a thumbnail designer I go on to Fiverr and I'm like oh wow yeah these people are doing great okay let me upload my gig to Fiverr and start creating thumbnails for people but hold on what about the
packages what should I be charging okay so let me click on one okay so I can see that this guy offers one thumbnail for $20 or I can get five thumbnails for $90 or I can get 10 thumbnails for $160 oh and guess what if I check out all the other thumbnail designers their packages will be very similar too and this is what I mean by being unique you need to try your best to be unique even in regards to the packages don't just copy everybody else like yes you can go on here and create
exactly the same packages you know if you're in the thumbnail Niche standing out in the thumbnail Niche is very very difficult because you have people charging $5 or $10 for a very good thumbnail and generally they are all offering the same thing so what I would personally do and I've spoken about this before if you're in the thumbnail Niche I would try to create a package that's completely different to what everybody else is doing and again in my situation maybe I would try a monthly package like a monthly subscription because you can offer subscriptions on
fiva and that's maybe what I would do so I would say okay guys for $150 a month you're going to have me as your personal thumbnail Creator then this gets you up to six or I don't know 10 thumbnails per month but all you got to do is contact me straight away and we work directly so I try to package it in a way that I am kind of their employee and not just a freelancer who they can contact and let's say if I'm too busy you know they have to wait days for a thumbnail
so I would just try to package it slightly differently to make it more attractive and different from everybody else so it's all about being unique and with the amount of competition on Fiverr right now being unique is one of the key points to getting more orders so you have to think outside the box just a little bit a little bit more than what other people are doing anyway so those are the three key aspects to really getting more sales and more orders on fivr now if you follow those exactly then I can pretty much guarantee
that your a gig will start taking off now if you enjoyed this video then definitely go check out this other video that's up on screen right now because I think you're going to find it really useful otherwise I'll see you in the next video
