[Peter]d Imagine that you were the guy's teacher when he was just a little brat, then the years go by and he tries to kill you, your family and destroy your village. It might sound weird, but this happens like hell all the time in Naruto. Come with me to check out the biggest betrayals in Naruto history!
Hey Nerd, what's up? Peter here! There's a lot about "friendship" and "hope" in Naruto, so that makes the betrayals that happen there even more painful for the characters and for us fans.
Exactly guys, it's not always that friendship and loyalty win in the end. Naruto has very shocking betrayals and you will remember some of them right after you like. Capricha as hell, guys, it helps a lot especially this fandom so cool that it's with me, look, I've been talking about Naruto for a long time.
Lets go guys! When Sasuke decided to leave Konoha in search of more power, he also rejects all the friendships he made in the village, including those who were the closest thing to family to him, Team 7. Sakura felt that something was wrong and waited for Sasuke in front of him.
road leading out of the village. She tries to talk him out of gearing up, but in the end he ends up knocking the girl out and leaving her on a bench. Naruto tries his luck during the Sasuke Rescue Arc, but is also unsuccessful.
In fact, many of Sasuke's comrades in Konoha are sent on this "rescue" mission and he rejects it all. They were there to save Sasuke as if he had been kidnapped by the Sound Four, but the truth was that he was leaving of his own accord, to gain power from Orochimaru. After immense efforts by Shikamaru's team to follow the Sound Four and bring Sasuke back, including the near-death of Neji and Choji, the battle at the Valley of the End ends with an unconscious Naruto and Sasuke leaving for Orochimaru's hideout.
The first one we never forget. Mizuki is the first villain in the anime, not a big villain, but still one of the most despicable. He took advantage of Naruto's loneliness and despair to graduate from the Ninja Academy, and manipulated him into stealing Konoha's Scroll of Seals for him.
Mizuki presents himself as a nice, kind and nice guy for a twelve year old boy who was lacking in affection! That's so wrong. Mizuki initially wanted to kill Naruto after he stole the scroll.
When Iruka shows up to save Naruto, Mizuki ends up revealing that Naruto was Kyuubi's jinchuriki. Mizuki still says that Iruka hates Naruto because he is the Kyuubi. At least the beating he took from Naruto was satisfying enough.
Okay, we already suspected Mizuki a nd everything. But this guy here, guys… I bet he got a lot of people scared when he showed himself to be a real snake. The guy showed up there during the Chunnin Exams and he was a damn good guy, with that nice Harry Potter face and stuff.
He was really nice to the main crowd and even helped Team 7 pass the Second Round of the Chunin Exams. People really believed that he was a nice guy, since he fought alongside Naruto and Naruto had a really nice feeling for him. But at the end of that stage of the chunnin exam he revealed himself as Orochimaru's biggest bootlicker, which left everyone very surprised.
He was just a big liar and it was easy for him to deceive people, since his whole life he was a spy in different villages. Fooled us as hell! [SASUKE (AGAIN)] The guy who switch sides.
Sasuke trained with Orochimaru for three years, all to get strong enough to beat Itachi to the punch. Sasuke and Orochimaru had an agreement that Orochimaru would possess Sasuke and thus defeat Itachi. Only Sasuke over time became so strong that he surpassed Orochimaru's power.
And when he realized that, he decided to kill Itachi himself. He knocked on Orochimaru's door and tried to kill the snake's uncle. He just couldn't because the guy doesn't die.
Some cases are more complicated than others. Itachi was part of the Uchiha Clan, but he also saw concepts of clan names and status as useless things, as everyone was face to face with war and they were all the same. He chose to spy on his clan for the Leaf and reported the Uchihas' plans for a coup against the village.
At the risk of a war destroying the village, weakening its reputation among other nations and putting Sasuke in danger, Itachi carried out a massacre against the entire Uchiha clan, except for Sasuke. It's heartbreaking, but Itachi killed his own parents. We understand the reasons for Itachi's betrayal, but it's still a little difficult to forgive.
There were children, there were old people among the people that Itachi killed, you can't forgive that. In reality most of the people that Itachi killed were innocent. It's complicated, this one Itachi didn't help me help him.
[YASHAMARU] Gaara already had a screwed up childhood because he was Shukaku's Jinchuuriki, which made everyone in the village hate and fear him. Even his own father passed by. Gaara only had his uncle Yashamaru as a secure and stable figure who loved him.
That changed when Yashamaru attacked Gaara. As the sand defense protected Gaara at all costs, Yashamaru died, but not before saying that he never loved Gaara and that Gaara was alone. This made Gaara adopt the mindset of a violent killer.
Gaara only found out a long time later that this was all planned by Gaara's father to test him and that Yashamaru was forced to lie about not loving him. [BLACK ZETSU] The worst plot twist in Naruto history is also one of the biggest betrayals. Until then, Black Zetsu was just one of the parts of Zetsu and was basically just Madara's doormat.
He never had any in-depth backstory and was presented only as "Madara's will personified". He had 0 relevance to the story, really. I did a little thing there and another here, and that was it.
But then out of nowhere Kishimoto pulls out of his hat that Black Zetsu was actually Kaguya's will, that he had manipulated the entire history of ninjas, that he used Akatsuki and Madara and he KILLS Madara. Okay, it doesn't kill him, but he literally stabs Madara in the back and revives Kaguya in him. This betrayal was just revolting, because it had neither foot nor head.
[SASUKE (YES, AGAIN)] The guy won't stop! Just when Sasuke seems to be finding new friends after leaving Leaf and Orochimaru, he turns his coat again. When he goes after Danzõ because he was most responsible for everything that happened to Itachi, Danzõ takes Karin hostage to protect himself.
Karin was one of Sasuke's new companions, she was in love with him and did everything he asked. Only, instead of taking into account the life of his companion, Sasuke used Chidori to cross Karin and Danzo at the same time. Crazy, psychopath!
This almost killed the girl who stayed the whole fight helping and healing Sasuke. She just didn't die because Sakura showed up there to heal her. Karin helped Sasuke the whole fight, so that in the end he would do this to her.
Pure evil. And so that's not even enough for you to say "Sasuke had that reason", it didn't, Sasuke was pure villain, unforgivable. Obito Uchiha being revealed as "Tobi" makes the horrible things that "The Masked Man" did even more horrible.
He was a leaf village ninja, he had friends and relatives in the village. But none of that stopped him from throwing a nine-tailed fox at the village where he was born, killing a lot of people, including his former sensei, Minato, and his wife who was a very good friend of his, Kushina. Like this?
These Naruto betrayals don't make sense, like, the guy freaks out: "I'm going to betray everyone, I'm going to kill everyone. " He doesn't just get angry at who, I don't know, who screwed him up, he wants to take it out on everyone. He even helped Itachi annihilate the entire Uchiha clan and, unlike Itachi, he had no "noble" motives.
He just went there to kill, damn it and that's it. It was Obito's clan, guys. He had relatives there.
We saw in the anime that he had a grandmother. Did he kill his own grandmother? Ironically, Kakashi often visited Obito's memorial, thinking he was dead, and always gave him the highest morale.
Obito, who taught Kakashi that "those who abandon their friends are worse than trash", was responsible for the death of many colleagues, relatives, teachers and even tried to destroy the legacy of these people. This turn of coats certainly hurt. Comment here if you remember any more betrayal, and comment on what, for you, is Naruto's biggest betrayal, that betrayal that you want to pocket the crazy guy, in the beating?
