with God's heart and purposes in first John 5:14 were told now this is the confidence that we have in him that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us but how do we discern God's will in our prayers how can we be sure that what we're asking for aligns with his divine plan the key lies in developing an intimate relationship with our heavenly father as we draw closer to God we begin to understand his character his desires and his ways in Romans 12:2 Paul instructs us and do not be conformed to this

world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God this transformation occurs as we immerse ourselves in God's word and spend time in his presence as we do this our desires begin to align with his and our prayers become more powerful and effective consider the example of Queen Esther who faced a life ore situation for her people before approaching the king with her request she spent three days fasting and praying this time of preparation aligned her heart with God's Will and

we initially imagined my dear friends aligning our prayers with God God's will also involves praying in faith for things that seem Impossible by human standards God Delights in doing the impossible and showing his power in situations that seem hopeless in Jeremiah 32: 27 God asks behold I am the Lord the God of All Flesh is there anything too hard for me when we pray in alignment with God's will we're not limited by what seems possible or reasonable we can boldly ask for healing for reconciliation for breakthrough knowing that our God Specializes in the miraculous as

we seek to align our prayers with God's will we must also be attentive to the holy spirit's guidance in Romans 8: 26 we're told likewise the spirit also helps in our weaknesses for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought but the spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered the Holy Spirit knows the mind of God and can guide us in praying according to his will as we cultivate sensitivity to his leading our prayers become more powerful and effective finally aligning our prayers with God's will means

passive it's an active force that shapes our daily lives and fuels our prayers so how do we cultivate this kind kind of Faith first we must imerse ourselves in God's word Romans 10:7 tells us so then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God the more we fill our minds and hearts with scripture the stronger our faith becomes make it a habit to read study and meditate on God's promises daily let his word be the lens through which you view every situation in your life secondly we must practice gratitude and praise even
