InstaDoodle Review: Is This Doodle Animation Tool Worth It?

all right welcome to this review it's a quick review of the insta doodle new AI doodle Creator software I'm not affiliated with the company I'm not sponsored I just found this company from a Facebook ad I clicked it I thought hey I want to try this product and this is my quick review of it so first of all I want to say that uh if you go to their website normally you will find this price $47 per month or $67 for Pro or agency 127 but when you click the link on the Facebook offer you

are get to another landing page where they have the $37 onetime payment for Lifetime use of their product so if you want to try you should probably get that deal however uh it's not necessarily all you're going to pay and we'll get into that we'll get into The Good the Bad and the Ugly of this company because there's some good stuff there's some stuff I didn't like and some stuff that was a little bit of a red flag for me anyway so the first thing that happens when you buy this uh get insta doodle from

this offer $37 you pay for it you cannot do any free trial so you have to kind of trust them that they will give you the product that they show on the videos but the first thing that happens when you actually buy it is you get to another landing page where they want to sell you the pro package for $67 for Lifetime use and for me that's a little bit annoying because I haven't even tried the product yet so how do I know if I want to get the pro pack and it's really s and

pushy you have to take this offer now or it will go away if you click and close this page you will not get this offer again which is not true it's very s sales pitchy and it's not really true everything they say so yeah take their offers and their sales pitches with a grain of salt I I would advise I did not get the pro package you can get it later on for the same price I found so yeah whatever but I paid $37 one time use so when you get into the instad dooodle you

get to the app you get a login password and whatever you can use it and it's quite an easy to understand the interface it's not super complicated it's a dashboard you can start new slides and is it's a basic editing tool for creating these kind of slides you create new slides like this you can even use a template or you can use a blank slide you have a bunch of characters to choose from you can filter them like fashion woman mid-aged man you have a bunch of them you can you can use them all in

the basic program you have some props you can also filter like education books and yeah they have a bunch of options that you can use and maybe the thing that's a little bit unique with this uh program is that you can uh design your own using AI or you can upload your own and they all work as long as there are these Thin Line black and white pictures you can you upload and it can draw them out for you as a doodle but the unique function that they want to sell is to generate with AI

so how it works is you get some credits when I bought a program for $37 I got 150 credits if I want to buy more I can buy 1,000 credits for about $35 so that's what it's going to cost and uh one credit will get me one um one doodle basically one one thing to use in my slides for example I can try to create something uh a boy with glasses skipping rope let's see if you can create that you can choose if you want four variations of one if you use four it will use

four credits let's try it I generate it's not the super fast it takes a little time especially when you go from the small image and you want to make a a bigger image and save it it takes a little while so yeah be aware of that it's quite slow it's taking um several minutes to enhance the image so I've actually found it's quicker to just make the pictures in another tool and then import them that was easier for me but you can try this so here's our boy skipping rope and we can add some text

as you can see here some of the fonts have a pro Lo logo you need to buy the pro program to use them other ones are free included you can adjust every image in sides and move it around and it's very easy to use and you you also have a bunch of functions you can choose how quick the animation is going to be you can change um color on the outlines you can change um you have a bunch of op options and you can add some end delay if you want some picture to take longer

before the next one generates is customizable so you can make a decent Slide the way you want to it's it's fairly easy to use and it it works let's see how this one looks so you're going to have the hand draw the outline this looks pretty good I think and some fonts yeah they're not always like super amazing like if you slow it down it's going to look a little wonky slow it down like this it's going to look weird but I think overall this function it it looks okay but this this does not look

so good I think it might depend on the font too maybe a thinner font will look better let's see let's try this one it doesn't look really it doesn't look so good on on the texts uh the the picture looked better but anyway it works it does the trick is it's an okay function I think overall the as a doodle maker like this it works all right I don't know how useful the AI function would be it's so so I would say and I don't think it's really worth to spend a lot of money on

credits here I think it's better to import your own images from other sources but I will show you like if you if you make your own images and it it's not a perfect outline it has too much black for example example like this one I generated this one in mid journey and if you try to draw it it just draws the whole thing it doesn't go around the outlines that's what happens if you don't get the perfect one but here's another example of a picture I made if you have good outlines and it's black and

white you will get the hand draw around it and it looks pretty good like this I think this looks pretty good so you can make these images in other AI tools to to get to add to your slides so that's what I would do and I can use this one just for like putting together the slide and everything and you can uh upload a voice over is it takes some adjustments to make the voice over suit the drawing maybe I think you do the slide first and you try to add a voice over for each

slide individually and you can like watch them as you record it it would be the easiest way to do it and you have to adjust the timing on everything uh to make it perfect and you can also add soundtrack you can also change hands but some of them are pro I think more functions are coming if I I read somewhere but yeah you can change hands and stuff but it doesn't make much difference to to the look of the whole thing all right this is my review of insta doodle using insta doodle right let's start

with The Good the Bad and the Ugly here we go first of all there is some good stuff that I want to lift up it is a very intuitive and easy to use program you can make slides look pretty good with no previous knowledge and it functions as expected some of the bad stuff that I've seen is that they do have these really annoying upsells like before you even try the product they try to sell you a pro program for $67 extra sometimes adjusting the custom pictures can be a little bit tricky and uh it's

also a little bit tricky to adjust when you have too many objects in one slide it's a little bit annoying how to decide in which order they're going to come you can do it but it's just harder when you have many the interface is so small and last of course we have to speak about the ugly for some reason and I don't know why I cannot find any company information about who made this product on their website I really tried to find it it's not there you don't know who they are where they located who

runs it who started it and so on and to me that's a little bit sketchy I don't know why they did that but uh yeah it's a little bit of a red flag to me basically the the prog is the platform works for making these basic kind of slides and for $37 it's not too bad I do find the the upsells annoying because you didn't even try the product and they try to push it so hard and also as I said the sketchy bit with the company information I think that's a little bit you don't

feel as secure using them you you know what's going on with this project is it going to be around when you buy lifetime access to something is it going to be around one year from now who knows so that's something that I would uh be consider before buying but if if this is what you get for $37 I don't know how it compares to other similar functions but I think this one is actually pretty okay for the price but the the AI function is not necessarily something that I would use myself all right if you
