the thing I love about the Lord is that his ways are not like our ways what God does how God works is beyond our understanding or comprehension the way that God chooses to answer your prayers may not always be what you expect sometimes your prayers are indeed answered by loss sometimes God answers your prayers by taking something away from you and that can hurt but after that initial sting you may start to realize that this painful experience was a blessing in disguise maybe people begin to walk out of your life maybe you start losing friends

that you care about but later on you realize that they were hurting you more than they were helping and so God was actually answering your prayer for a joyful and drama free life maybe you lose a relationship but as a result you also lose the anxiety that came with it you begin to feel Freer and happier just like you once prayed for maybe you lose an opportunity that you were really excited about but later you find out that God was setting you up for something even greater in all these situations you might not see the

positive consequences at first but one day when you look back you will suddenly be able to connect the dots you will start to see how God was actually being gracious by removing that person that relationship or that opportunity from your life of course none of this is a surprise to God Isaiah 55:8 says for my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways declares the Lord as much as God hates to see our pain he knows that sometimes pain is necessary for our ultimate Joy God knows exactly what we need and at

what time we need it we just have to trust him we just have to let him work in the way only he can do because we have all the blind spots areas of our life that are unhealthy or toxic to our relationship with God and we don't even realize it but in his mercy God steps in and removes those things for us and he replaces them with something better so right now if if you're going through a loss if you're going through a season of disappointment consider the possibility that God is answering your prayers in

an unconventional way consider the possibility that through this loss he is rearranging your life through this loss he is strengthening you through this loss he is leading you to better God doesn't always answer our prayers the way we want but he always gives us exactly what we need what I'm trying to put across to you is that as a people we are so conditioned to getting what we want as soon as we want and subconsciously we can take this mentality into our prayer lives we can approach god with this fast food fast service expectation however

God in his righteousness knows best when it comes to you should receive that answer the Lord himself knows the best time to open this door he knows the right time to close that door think of this every parent wants their child to drive they would love to see their kids in their first car but if you gift them the keys to that car too soon it's a disaster waiting to happen and so the Lord knows the right time to give you those keys now let us pray heavenly father thank you today for your word and

your promises your promises that we will hold on to each and every day of Our Lives father I pray in agreement with all who are listening see us Lord Cast Your Eyes Upon Us let your gaze be fixed on our lives for the man or woman who is listening right now and in need of a touch from your hand may you see them Lord may you see their faith may you see their desire Lord may you see their need I Praise You Lord Jesus because you are a God who sees beyond the veil you see

beyond the facade that we put on for the world you are a God who sees right into our souls I pray and I yearn for your gaze over my life over my family because unlike the human eye when you see me Jesus when you look down on me from your heavenly Throne you see all that's in my heart you see all that troubles and hurts me you see all of my struggles and pain you see the innermost parts of me and I am grateful because it's only you that can then make me whole it's only

through your gaze that I can have all of my burdens and troubles lifted I pray in agreement with the person who is listening May the Holy Spirit lead us to be grounded and equipped with the word of God so that we can realize that same power that same power that resurrected Jesus from the dead is also at our disposal through the Holy Ghost because greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world and so I confess that greater is he who is in me than the spirit of fear in this

world instead of fear I choose to live in faith to walk by faith your word tells me in Proverbs 4:23 watch over your heart with all diligence from it flow the Springs of Life help me to guard over my heart King Jesus help me to be alert and spot anything that may cause me to fall into sin I pray that you give me a heart that is willing to put aside all selfish and sinful desires I want to be a believer who is able to critically self-evaluate themselves help me to be diligent and careful to

avoid anything that might cause me to fall into wickedness I pray that I would never become a person who has a form of godliness but rather may I develop a genuine fear of God a genuine hunger and thirst for Holiness Galatians 2:20 says I have been crucified with Christ it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me and the life I now live in the flesh I live in faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me Lord this life is no longer mine but I will

live this life through you and for you I set aside my will and I choose to submit to your will I set aside my priorities and I choose to prioritize you I choose to follow you Lord Jesus and not anyone else or anything else in this world work within me Lord Jesus Purge my heart of anything that displeases you remove Pride from within me remove any jealousy or Envy remove any attraction to uncleanliness I pray that I may be drawn to Holiness I pray that I may be drawn to Pure things to good things things

that are above and not of this Earth give me a mind that is focused on you a mind that loves to meditate on your word Ephesians 4:4 says and to put on the new self created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and Holiness I pray that the holy spirit will help me to put on the new self the regenerated and renewed nature of Christ you are my Hiding Place Lord Jesus and my faith is in you it's only you that will protect me from trouble and Surround Me with the songs of deliver an
