Matthew 14:31 says immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him you of little faith he said why did you doubt oh you of little faith why did you doubt that's the question Jesus asked Peter as the Lord pulled his disciple up from the water at the Lord's invitation Peter had walked on water to come to Jesus but before he made it to Jesus the howling wind and the storm tossed waves caused Peter to fear as the fear set in he began to sink by the Lord's power Peter had done the impossible he had walked

on water but doubt and fear caused Peter to lose focus on Jesus and threatened his life perhaps Jesus's question seems a bit harsh surely we can sympathize with Peter who wouldn't have a bit of Doubt while walking on a stormy sea and yet the Lord's desire was for Peter's Faith to triumph over doubt you see doubt is a dangerous weapon in Satan's Arsenal and it is one that Christians must strive to overcome if you've ever struggled with doubt then I need you to realize that you are not alone there are many good people who have

consider Sarah the wife of Abraham few individuals stand as examples of Faith like Abraham and Sarah but even Sarah wrestled with doubt in Genesis 18 God informed Abraham that he and Sarah would have a son while that should be exciting news it seemed impossible because the couple was advanced in years they were too old to have children Sarah overheard this announcement and the Bible records so Sarah laughed to herself saying after I am worn out and my Lord is old shall I have pleasure that may not seem like a big deal but the word laugh

can mean to laugh in justest or to laugh in scorn it seems the latter is what Sarah did she laughed because she doubted the Lord's promise Sarah tried to deny it but God's question was direct is anything too hard for the Lord this demonstrates one of the primary problems with doubt doubt reveals that we don't fully trust God when we doubt it's as though we're saying I don't believe God can do this maybe we doubt our sins can be forgiven perhaps we doubt the gospel can change someone in our lives essentially doubt is nothing short

of thinking less of God and his power now that's a dangerous mindset indeed and then of course we have doubt ing Thomas for whatever reason Thomas was not with the other disciples in the upper room on the day of Jesus's resurrection he wasn't there to see the Lord with his own eyes and when the others reported to Thomas that Jesus had risen he didn't believe them he famously said unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails and place my finger into the mark of the nails and place my hand into his side

I will never believe Thomas's doubt robbed him of much joy at least for a time it was another 8 days before Jesus appeared to the disciples again this time Thomas was present and his doubts they were blown away but think about this for a little more than a week the other disciples lived with the joy of knowing Jesus their teacher their friend their Messiah he was alive if Thomas had remembered the Lord's word words and believed the other disciples testimony he could have shared in their joy and hope instead Thomas spent that week in the

pit of despair and depression because doubt is a robber of joy and doubt can have dire consequences Sarah's doubt was overcome and she witnessed God's power when she later conceived and bore a son just as God had promised Thomas's doubt was defeated by seeing the Risen Lord but others in the Bible were not so fortunate for their doubt condemned them in Luke's gospel he records that one of the two thieves crucified with Jesus was saved one Thief stopped reviling Jesus defended the Lord and asked Jesus to remember him when he entered his kingdom that's a

lot of faith for a dying man but what about the other Thief it would seem he didn't have the same change of heart he mocked Jesus and never placed his faith in the Lord why it was probably because of doubt he likely doubted that a crucified man a dying man had any power to save he doubted Jesus was the Messiah he doubted Jesus was the son of God and that doubt was his ultimate downfall again doubt has consequences even in daily life we understand this truth when a detective doubts a witness's testimony or a suspect's

alibi that will significantly affect his investigation when a jury doubts a defendant's claims it may have life-altering consequences when a husband or wife doubts the Loyalty of their spouse it can ruin their marriage doubt and suspicion will change how they think and how they treat one another doubt can become a poison poison it can be a poison that destroys an otherwise loving relationship yes doubt certainly has consequences and this is especially true spiritually when the Christian Harbors doubts the consequences can be devastating James warns against this great danger James 1: 5-8 says if you need

Wisdom ask our generous God and he will give it to you he will will not rebuke you for asking but when you ask him be sure that your faith is in God alone do not waver for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord their loyalty is divided between God and the world and they are unstable in everything they do you see dear listener the problem with doubt is that it is

the opposite of faith faith is what helps us stand firm doubt will toss us around like a ship on a stormy sea with no anchor faith it gives us stability and strength but doubt doubt makes us unstable and unable to Faithfully serve God when we are ruled by doubt instead of Faith even our prayers are hindered according to James yet yes doubt is a grave danger with terrible consequences doubt turns our eyes away from Jesus causes us to question God robs us of joy and even hinders our prayers worst of all if we persist in

doubt it can even Rob us of Eternal salvation but I need you to realize you do not have to succumb to doubt even if doubts have plagued the past you can overcome them how the same way Peter did turn to Jesus and seek his help don't let the winds and waves cause doubt keep your eyes firmly fixed on Jesus and his word place your trust in him and follow him Faithfully all the days of your life now with this understanding that we cannot please God without faith that faith is an essential part of our Christan

Christian lives let us go Before the Throne of God and ask him to help us be emboldened to walk in faith and to act in faith every single day of Our Lives Lord Jesus be praised be glorified and honored Lord we desire to grow in faith we desire to grow in understanding father we want to grow in wisdom Matthew 7: veres 24- 27 says therefore whoever hears these sayings of mine and does them I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock and the rain descended the floods came and

the winds blew and beat on that house and it did not fall for it was founded on the Rock but everyone who hears these sayings of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand and the rain descended the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that house and it fell and great was its fall Lord Jesus we will build our lives on your words because our house will not fall when it's built on you master god you're the Rock of Ages and so

when The Rains of Life come when the floods of Life come when the winds blowing and beat on us we will not fall because you Lord are our anchor our Chief Cornerstone and the solid rock on which we stand father forgive us for the times that we have doubted you Lord I pray that you would displace any doubt and fill our hearts with faith I ask that the Holy Spirit would Empower us and strengthen us when we feel weak Holy Ghost remind us that God's word in 2 Corinthians 12: 9 and 10 says and he

said to me my grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in weakness therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ May rest upon me therefore I take pleasure in infirmities in reproaches in need needs and persecutions and distresses for Christ's sake for when I am weak then I am strong we believe your word Lord Jesus whenever we're weak you are the source of our strength whenever we feel powerless we're strong in you Lord I Praise You Lord because your grace is sufficient to meet our

every Need Your Loving kindness it's enough to fill every void in our lives and I praise you God because your mercy is more than enough your mercy is always available and never ending it covers a multitude of sins for this Lord we are ever grateful and I pray for anyone struggling with fear in their lives anyone who may be wrestling with doubt May the Holy Ghost move into their lives and remove every spirit that stands against the word of God May the Holy Spirit sweep away every negative thought or voice that stands against the word

of God I pray that the Holy Spirit would keep us anchored in the word of God keep us rooted in scripture father cast out all our worries all our fears and every doubt in Joshua 1:9 the word of God says have I not commanded you be strong and courageous do not be afraid do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go as your children father we will not fear because you are with us you are the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob a God who has never lost a

battle and so father we are only strong and courageous because you are on our side Lord help us not to be overwhelmed by the trials of this life father be glorified and be praised forever more it's in jesus' name I pray amen we should all have the desire to encounter the presence of God in our lives at some point an encounter that will revive and and refreshes acts 2:1 17 says and in the last days it shall be declares God that I will pour out my spirit on All Flesh and your sons and your daughters

shall prophesy and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams God has promised to pour out his Spirit on All Flesh in the last days now my prayer to the Lord is that I would not be left out of this outpouring promised in the Bible my heart's cry is Lord pour out your spirit upon me so I encourage you to make sure your heart is not hardened to the call of Jesus Christ make sure your schedule is not so busy that you will miss your Divine appointment with God in your

prayer closet blind Bemus refused to let Jesus pass him by in Mark 10:47 the Bible says and when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth he began to cry out loud and say Jesus Son of David have mercy on me we too must have that same attitude we need to be crying out to the Lord Don't Pass Me By without pouring out your spirit over my life over my home over my family do not pass me by oh gentle savior we should be yearning for Jesus Christ of Nazareth to have mercy on us if

there is one thing that you should know and expect it's that the reality of Life can sometimes be Earth shattering and harsh and perhaps you may not be able to turn your situ situation around immediately but I pray that my words today will plant seeds of faith in your spirit don't be discouraged by what you see don't be discouraged by what you hear your life is in God's hands and that's something you should actually tell yourself every once in a while my life is in God's hands your health may not be where you want it

to be but I encourage you to do all that you can and then ask God to meet you halfway your dream may seem like it's no longer possible but I encourage you to continue pursuing God whether or not you become a doctor whether or not you become an attorney or a pilot don't remove God from his throne in your life all because you're disappointed God Is Bigger Than That which comes against you and if the fight intensifies and your own thoughts become negative and they start telling you that this situation is permanent that this result

is permanent don't be discouraged even though it looks hopeless the word of God says Joy comes in the morning it says to everything there is a season so this too shall pass don't be moved by what you see with your natural eye but rely on the word of God that you know the word says that God is good he's a stronghold in the day of trouble focus on that instead of what's disappointing you the word says you are my Hiding Place and my shield it says I will look to the Lord I will wait for

the god of my salvation and my God will hear me your life is in God's hands your future is in God's hands if life hits you hard and you fall wouldn't it be better to fall into the loving arm Arms of Jesus Christ than anywhere else so don't be defined by a diagnosis don't be defined by the numbers in your bank account I've had to talk to myself and remind myself that I have a Creator who has a plan and God's plan will still Prevail God's will will still be done he has ordered my steps

and so I am not alone my beginning and my end is known by him my highs and my lows are known by him and I walk by faith and not by sight believing that the Lord has numbered my good days to exceed my bad days so get to the point where you are content and at peace to say Lord my life life is in your hands you have said be anxious for nothing you've said that you know the number of hairs on my head and so I Surrender and yield to your will so remember acts

2:1 17 and make sure that you are a part of this outpouring from the Lord and then the last days it shall be God declares that I will pour out my spirit on All Flesh and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams and so now let us pray King Jesus the Alpha and Omega you have saved me in every way possible you have made me complete in your love and in your mercy you have indeed made me whole there is no one

comparable to you oh God and for this reason I bow and submit to you I bow down and confess that you are Lord and I need you in my life pass me not my savior I Need Just One Touch from you for my entire situation to turn around just a touch of the hym of your garment and my entire family can be restored my health can be restored my faith can be restored because you are a wonderwork God I am grateful for your protection throughout the day I thank you in advance for keeping me safe

and protecting me through the night I thank you in advance King Jesus for defending me from the evil in the night father I ask that you forgive me for every wrong that I have done both knowingly and unknowingly have mercy on me and my family I thank you for being a God who has been faithful throughout the ages I ask that you put my mind at ease with everything that I am facing open my eyes and help me to see your hand in every situation that I face study my emotions father where I am anxious

give me peace Lord where I am troubled I give you my burdens and father when I am worried I cast my burdens on you you are the rock of all ages my strong tower and Fortress when I am tired and weary I will wait on on you to renew my strength your word is a lamp unto my feet that guides me so that I may not stumble and fall I pray that your strength renews us may your presence be felt continuously in our hearts I will forever be confident that you are a faithful God and

you will be my light in the toughest of times father it is your pure and Holy Light that eradicates the darkness and destroys the traps set by my enemy May the joy of the Lord shine through me the joy spoken of in Philippians 4:4 rejoice in the lord always again I will say rejoice and so I will rejoice I will rejoice in all of your goodness and all of your faithfulness I will rejoice in you Lord because your word says in Philippians 4: 6-7 be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with

Thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and Minds through Christ Jesus I pray that your peace will guard my heart and my mind Lord even though I don't know every step of your plan I do know and trust that whatever your plans may be it will be for my good I thank you for the promise in your word that when I call on you you will listen thank you for your promise that when I seek you with all of my heart

I will find you I pray that you will keep me safe from danger and harm from the enemy help me Jesus and give me the grace to be able to have Fearless Faith a faith that is constant so that regardless of what the situation is I can remain rooted and firm in my belief in you should the test be a storm Lord give me the faith to believe that you can calm the seas in my life should my test be a mountain give me the faith to believe that you my king can level that mountain

should my test even be a Goliath Lord give me the faith to believe that your power will defeat every giant your word says in Deuteronomy 10:12 and now Israel what does the Lord your God require of you but to fear the lord your God to walk in all his ways to love him to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul father help me so that I may not have any fear in this world but rather may I only fear you my God I pray that I may walk in

your ways help me to not walk in the counsel of the wicked nor to stand in the way of Sinners nor to sit in the seat of the scornful strengthen my faith Lord renew my faith re-energize my faith in this moment I pray for strong faith so that I may stand up for Jesus Christ and testify how he turned my mour into dancing give me strong faith Lord so that I may stand on your word in a world that is lost in a world that aims to discourage and drain hope be with me Holy Spirit

as I seek to stand up in faith and lift the Royal Banner of the sooncoming king Lord Jesus may your will be done you are Mighty and Sovereign you control all things and so I reach out my hand to you so that you can hold me and guide me may your love surround me may your glorious presence be wrapped around me may your precious powerful blood cover me in Jesus mighty name I pray amen Heavenly Father your word says in Jeremiah 33:3 call to me and I will answer you and show you Great and Mighty

things which you do not know father I pray for each and every person listening in agreement right now as we call on you I pray that you would show us Great and Mighty things show us Great and Mighty things within our homes and in our families do a mighty work in our lives Lord for every adverse situation we Face show your hand to be great and mighty we're praying for divine intervention Lord and we invite you to step in Break Every Chain that's holding us back from progressing or ad advancing forward break every evil chain

that limits us whether it's in our families in our marriages career or health wipe out everything oppressive in our lives whatever it may be I pray that you would loose any chains in our lives just as you did with Paul and Silas set us free from whatever it is in our lives that's restricting us Psalm 14 5: 18 says the Lord is near to all who call on him to all who call on him in truth give us a breakthrough Lord we call on the name of Jesus Christ to move mountains at your name storms

become calm Lord Jesus creation sings with joy at the sound of your name demons flee at the name of Jesus w walls and barriers come down at your name not only will every knee bow and every tongue confess that you are Lord but every problem every stronghold every force of Darkness will be defeated at the name of Jesus Christ there is no power greater than you nothing and no one can stand against you help me to fully trust in your power to bring breakthroughs and situations where I cannot find a solution you have promised that

those who seek you Lord will lack no good thing let me lack nothing as I Look to You for every need and desire in my life I declare a complete breakthrough and I declare that I am victorious through Christ Jesus I come against every form of worry in my life even though things may seem possible at times I trust and believe that with you Lord nothing shall be impossible I pray that the holy spirit will guide and direct me always may he help me to make wise decisions and lead me along a path of righteousness

Lord make a way for us where there seems there is no way you alone give us hope in situations where there seems to be no hope you alone provide endless possibilities and situations that look impossible we lift up our faith and place our confidence in you so that we may be victorious at the end in the mighty name of Jesus father surely goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our lives and that includes breakthroughs over the obstacles of the enemy that means we have the power through your blood to overcome daily direct

fighting my carnal desire to take matters into my own hands instead I submit to you and will keep my eyes always on Jesus Holy Spirit I pray that you would Minister to The Souls of each and every person listening be that still small voice voice that reminds us to constantly cling to Jesus Christ help us to keep our eyes on the Lord help us to keep our eyes on things above and not on things of the earth convict us holy spirit to continually keep our eyes on the Lord father give us an attitude whereby if

all is well our eyes would still be on Jesus the Bible in Hebrews 12:2 says fixing our eyes on Jesus the Pioneer and perfector of faith for the joy set before him he endured the cross scorning its shame and sat down at the right hand of the Throne of God when we Face the obstacles of Life help us to keep our eyes fixed on Christ teach us holy spirit to continuously examine ourselves and evaluate what our focus is and where our eyes are fixed Lord Jesus I thank you for your goodness I look to you

because you took my sins when you hung on the cross you redeemed me Lord you have saved and delivered me if it were not for your wonderful sacrifice then where would I be if you never shed your precious blood then who could have saved me there is none like you King Jesus that's why my eyes will remain fixed on you you extended your loving arms to me and called me to repentance because of this I rejoice and I say all praise and honor be to the most high because I am saved Sanctified and Redeemed by

the precious blood of Jesus Christ the Lamb of God there is no better time to praise you Lord than right now and so I Rejoice today I sing your praises today because if it wasn't for Jehovah Gyra who would PR provide for me if it wasn't for elshadai God Almighty who would save me if it wasn't for the lion of the tribe of Judah who would be my protector I Praise You Lord You Are Holy and worthy of my adoration thank you for listening to my prayer in Jesus name I pray amen [Music] for a

moment I want to encourage you to meditate on Psalm 27 today in its entirety Psalm 27 encapsulates David's deep trust in God's protection guidance and presence and I believe that this is a passage that invites us to place our confidence in God even in the face of challenges and to seek him with all our heart just as David found comfort and courage in his relationship with God we too can draw strength from our faith in the midst of life's trials and so Psalm 27 verse 1 the Lord is my light and my salvation Whom Shall

I Fear the Lord is the strong hold of my life of whom shall I be afraid David Begins by proclaiming his unwavering trust in God he uses powerful metaphors light and salvation to convey that God illuminates his path and rescues him from danger David's confidence in God's protection leads him to ask a rhetorical question if God is on his side there is no one to fear this verse sets the tone for an entire Psalm emphasizing the strength of his faith in God's guidance and refuge verse two when the wicked Advance against me to devour me

it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall here David acknowledges the existence of enemies and challenges that may come up against him however he firmly believes that God will cause his enemies to stumble and fail in their attempt to harm him this verse reflects David's assurance that God's power is greater than any threat he faces verse three though an army besieged me my heart will not fear though War or break out against me even then I will be confident David's confidence in God's protection continues to shine through he uses strong imagery

of an army besieging him and War breaking out emphasizing the severity of the challenges he may encounter yet he remains unshaken in his faith declaring that his heart will not fear and he will maintain his confidence in God's Deliverance verse 4 one thing I asked from the Lord this only do I seek that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to Gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his Temple David expresses his deepest desire to be in the presence of God he Longs

Towell D in God's house not just for a moment but for all the days of his life this reflects David's thirst for intimacy with God and His eagerness to experience the beauty and wonder of God's presence verse 5 for in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock David reaffirms his trust in God's protection and refuge he believes that in times of trouble God will provide safety and shelter the image of being set high

upon a rock symbolizes being placed above danger and adversity verse 6 then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of Joy I will sing and make music to the Lord David envisions a future where he will triumph over his enemies he anticipates offering sacrifices and praises to God with shouts of Joy celebrating God's faithfulness and deliverance verse 7 hear my voice when I call Lord be merciful to me and answer me in this verse David shifts to a heartfelt plea he calls upon

God to hear his prayers and to respond with mercy and Grace David recognizes his dependence on God's compassion and desires an intimate connection with him verse 8 my heart says of you seek his his face your face Lord I will seek David's heart prompts him to seek God's face he responds to the call of his heart expressing his determination to seek God's presence with Zeal and devotion verse n do not hide your face from me do not turn your serven away in Anger you have been my helper do not reject me or forsake for AK

me God my savior David acknowledges his Reliance on God's help and pleads for God's continued presence he asked God not to turn away from him recalling the history of God's guidance and salvation in his life verse 10 though my father and mother forsake me the Lord will receive me David acknowledges that even if his Earthly relationships falter he is confident that God will never abandon him this verse reflects David's deep conviction in God's unwavering love and acceptance verse 11 teach me your way Lord lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors David desires

to know God's ways and seeks his guidance he asks for dire ction and wisdom to navigate his challenges knowing that God's guidance will lead him on the right path verse 12 do not turn me over to the desires of my foes for false witnesses rise up against me spouting malicious accusations David recognizes the threats posed by his enemies and false Witnesses who spread lies against him he pleads with God to protect protect him from their schemes verse 13 I remain confident of this I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the

living despite the challenges David holds on to his confidence in God's goodness he anticipates witnessing God's blessing and Provisions in his current life not just in the distant future verse 14 wait for the Lord be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord David concludes the ssal with a message of encouragement he encourages himself and others to wait patiently for the Lord's guidance strength and deliverance in times of uncertainty he advises taking heart and finding strength in the Lord's promises God's strong hand is over your life on Saturday 25th of April 2015 four friends

were in Nepal for a trip in the langang Kang Jin GPA Valley now this is a place a valley that many would describe as one of the most beautiful places on Earth but on this Saturday morning around 11:55 a.m. a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the nation of Nepal now the village that this group of friends were staying at was completely destroyed it was reduced to Rubble but fortunately this group of friends survived and so here in this little village that had just been violently shaken by an earthquake the group of friends banded together with some

survivors and decided to trick all the way along the valley to the next Village which would be their exit to the mainland what they didn't know was that the next village where they thought they could get help that Village had also been completely destroyed and so as this group is walking they're talking among themselves they're happy they've made it through alive they're celebrating the fact that they survived a life-threatening situation when suddenly there was a strong Aftershock and this Aftershock happened just when they thought the worst was over just as they are leaving one disaster

here comes another now they did survive this Aftershock but can I ask ask you have you ever found yourself facing one thing after another have you ever found yourself facing one battle after another and I mean you've come out of one situation you've barely survived and here comes yet another test another challenge that leaves you asking God why me so as Believers what do we do when we find ourselves in between battles well before David faced his biggest test in the form of Goliath here's what the Bible says in 1st Samuel 17: 34-37 but David

persisted I have been taking care of my father's sheep and goats he said when a lion or a bear comes to steal a lamb from the flock I go after it with a club and rescue the lamb from its mouth if the animal turns on me I catch it by the jaw and Club it to death I have done this to both lions and bears and I'll do it to this Pagan Philistine too for he has defied the armies of the Living God the Lord who rescued me from the claws of The Lion and the

bear will rescue me from this Philistine Saul finally consented all right go ahead he said and may the Lord be with you David looked back at all of the victories that God had given him he remembered all that the Lord had done for him and I believe this is what we should do when we find ourselves in similar situations remember the goodness of God remember the faithfulness of God remember all of the battles that he has brought you through all of the attacks from the enemy that he shielded you from when you do this when

you remember that the word of God says Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever then you will be able to overcome whatever it is that stands in front of you in the book of Acts chapter 23 Paul finds himself in a difficult situation he had been arrested he now stands in court in front of the S hedrin and he is the cause of a massive uproar between the Pharisees and the Sadducees here's what the Bible says in Acts chap 23: 7 to1 and when he had said this A dissension or arose between the

Pharisees and the Sadducees and the assembly was divided for Sadducees say that there is no resurrection and no angel or Spirit but the Pharisees confess both then there arose a loud outcry and the scribes of the Pharisees party arose and protested saying we find no evil in this man but if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him let us not fight against God now when there are arose a great dissension the commander fearing lest Paul might be pulled to Pieces by them commanded the soldiers to go down and take him by force from

among them and bring him into the barracks but the following night the Lord stood by him and said be of good cheer Paul for as you have testified for me in Jerusalem so you must also bear witness at Rome so here Paul stands he stands accused he stands in the middle of enemies he is facing a very real threat on his life but verse 11 says the following night the Lord stood by him the Lord stood by him what more do you need in this life other than for God to stand by you why should

you worry why should you fear or be anxious when you know that God God stands beside you isn't it remarkable that just when Paul might have been forgiven for thinking am I doing the right thing when the whole world seems to be against me just when Paul was in the firing line there was God standing beside him God was honoring his word which says in Deuteronomy 31:8 he will never leave you nor forsake you do not be afraid do not be discouraged everything the Lord has for us is contained in these simple words he will

never leave you or forsake you so if you're feeling like the weight of the entire world is on your shoulders God is right there beside you if you're feeling low anxious or worried take heart God stands beside you the key thing for us is to believe it's to have faith in the Lord and He will take care of everything else now let us pray Lord Jesus you are my great defender you are my mighty protector Revelation 12:1 says and they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony and

they did not love their lives to the death I am blessed because I'm covered by your blood Lord the Precious Blood of the Lamb of God your word tells me that I can overcome the Devil by the blood of the lamb and the word of my testimony and so I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my my life I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my family the word of my testimony is that Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and the Lord of lords the word of my testimony is that Jesus Christ

is Victorious Jesus Christ is triumphant and greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world Lord Jesus you have never lost a battle there is no one who can challenge you and so I firmly place my confidence in you you are the reason why I am more than a conqueror you are the reason why my heart is filled with boldness and with courage Psalm 138: 7-8 says though I walk in the midst of trouble you will revive me you will stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies and

your right hand will save me the Lord will perfect that which concerns me your mercy O Lord endures forever do not forsake the work of your hands I am encouraged by Your Word which tells me that you my Lord will perfect that which concerns me you will straighten out everything crooked in my path you will remove all obstacles and you will certainly prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies be praised Lord you are an awesome God I pray that you would stand with me always the Bible says in Isaiah 59:9 so

shall they fear the name of the Lord from the West and his glory from the rising of the sun when the enemy comes in like a flood the spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him I Praise You Lord Jesus because when the enemy comes at me and my family you are faithful to block all of his attacks the enemy cannot overwhelm me because I am holding on to the promises in God's word promises that tell me I have authority in jesus' name promises that tell me that a thousand may fall at

my side 10,000 at my right hand but it will not come near me Lord Jesus I'm at peace I declare that there is no fear within me because you've not given me a spirit of fear you have given me a spirit of power love and a sound mind I can say that all is well with me me because you are for me Lord and if God is for me who can be against me who can stand against you the lion of the tribe of Judah so great is your power and might that the Earth is

your foot stol thank you for your faithfulness my great deliverer thank you for hearing my prayer in Jesus name I pray amen Matthew 14 :31 says immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him you of little faith he said why did you doubt oh you of little faith why did you doubt that's the question Jesus asked Peter as the Lord pulled his disciple up from the water at the Lord's invitation Peter had walked on water to come to Jesus but before he made it to Jesus the howling wind and the storm tossed waves caused

Peter to f fear as the fear set in he began to sink by the Lord's power Peter had done the impossible he had walked on water but doubt and fear caused Peter to lose focus on Jesus and threatened his life perhaps Jesus's question seems a bit harsh surely we can sympathize with Peter who wouldn't have a bit of Doubt while walking on a stormy sea and yet the Lord Lord's desire was for Peter's Faith to triumph over doubt you see doubt is a dangerous weapon in Satan's Arsenal and it is one that Christians must strive

to overcome if you've ever struggled with doubt then I need you to realize that you are not alone there are many good people who have consider Sarah the wife of Abraham few individuals stand as examples of Faith like Abraham and Sarah but even Sarah wrestled with doubt in Genesis 18 God informed Abraham that he and Sarah would have a son while that should be exciting news it seemed impossible because the couple was advanced in years they were too old to have children Sarah overheard this announcement and the Bible records so Sarah laughed to herself saying

after I am worn out and my Lord is old shall I have pleasure that may not seem like a big deal but the word laugh can mean to laugh in justest or to laugh in scorn it seems the latter is what Sarah did she laughed because she doubted the Lord's promise Sarah tried to deny it but God's question was direct is anything too hard for the Lord this demonstrates one of the primary problems with doubt doubt reveals that we don't fully trust God when when we doubt it's as though we're saying I don't believe God

can do this maybe we doubt our sins can be forgiven perhaps we doubt the gospel can change someone in our lives essentially doubt is nothing short of thinking less of God and his power now that's a dangerous mindset indeed and then of course we have doubting Thomas for whatever reason Thomas was not with the other disciples in the upper on the day of Jesus's resurrection he wasn't there to see the Lord with his own eyes and when the others reported to Thomas that Jesus had risen he didn't believe them he famously said unless I see

in his hands the mark of the nails and place my finger into the mark of the nails and place my hand into his side I will never believe Thomas's doubt robbed him of much joy at least for a Time time it was another 8 days before Jesus appeared to the disciples again this time Thomas was present and his doubts they were blown away but think about this for a little more than a week the other disciples lived with the joy of knowing Jesus their teacher their friend their Messiah he was alive if Thomas had remembered

the Lord's words and believed the other disciples testimony he could have shared in their joy and Hope instead Thomas spent that week in the pit of despair and depression because doubt is a robber of joy and doubt can have dire consequences Sarah's doubt was overcome and she witnessed God's power when she later conceived and bore a son just as God had promised Thomas's doubt was defeated by seeing the Risen Lord but others in the Bible were not so fortunate for their doubt condemned them in Luke's gospel he records that one of the two thieves crucified

with Jesus was saved one Thief stopped reviling Jesus defended the Lord and asked Jesus to remember him when he entered his kingdom that's a lot of faith for a dying man but what about the other Thief it would seem he didn't have the same change of heart he mocked Jesus and never placed his faith in the Lord why it was probably because of doubt he likely doubted that a crucified man a dying man had any power to save he doubted Jesus was the Messiah he doubted Jesus was the son of God and that doubt was

his ultimate downfall again doubt has consequences even in daily life we understand this truth when a detective doubts a Witnesses testimony or a suspect's alibi that will significantly affect his investigation when a jury doubts a defendant's claims it may have life-altering consequences when a husband or wife doubts the Loyalty of their spouse it can ruin their marriage doubt and suspicion will change how they think and how they treat one another doubt can become a poison it can be a poison that destroys an otherwise loving relationship ship yes doubt certainly has consequences and this is especially

true spiritually when the Christian Harbors doubts the consequences can be devastating James warns against this great danger James 1: 5-8 says if you need Wisdom ask our generous God and he will give it to you he will not rebuke you for asking but when you ask him be sure that your faith is in God alone do not waver for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord their loyalty is divided between

God and the world and they are unstable in everything they do you see dear listener the problem with doubt is that it is the opposite of faith faith is what helps us stand firm doubt will toss us around like a ship on a stormy sea with no aner faith it gives us stability and strength but doubt doubt makes us unstable and unable to Faithfully serve God when we are ruled by doubt instead of Faith even our prayers are hindered according to James yes doubt is a grave danger with terrible consequences doubt turns our eyes away

from Jesus causes us to question God robs us of joy and even hinders our prayers worst of all if we persist in doubt it can even Rob us of Eternal salvation but I need you to realize you do not have to succumb to doubt even if doubts have plagued the past you can overcome them how the same way Peter did turn to Jesus and seek his help don't let the winds and waves cause doubt keep your eyes firmly fixed on Jesus and his word place your trust in him and follow him Faithfully all the days

of your life now with this understanding that we cannot please God without faith that faith is an essential part of our Christian lives let us go Before the Throne of God and ask him to help us be emboldened to walk in faith and to act in faith every single day of Our Lives Lord Jesus be praised be glorified and honored Lord we desire to grow in faith we desire to grow in understanding father we want to grow in wisdom Matthew 7: 24-27 says therefore whoever hears these sayings of of mine and does them I will

liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock and the rain descended the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that house and it did not fall for it was founded on the Rock but everyone who hears these sayings of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand and the rain descended the floods came came and the winds blew and beat on that house and it fell and great was its fall Lord Jesus we will build our lives on

your words because our house will not fall when it's built on you master god you're the Rock of Ages and so when The Rains of Life come when the floods of Life come when the winds blow and beat on us we will not fall because you Lord are our anchor our Chief Cornerstone and the solid rock on which we stand father forgive us for the times that we have doubted you Lord I pray that you would displace any doubt and fill our hearts with faith I ask that the Holy Spirit would Empower us and strengthen

us when we feel weak Holy Ghost remind us that God's word in 2 Corinthians 12: 99 and 10 says and he said to me my grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in weakness therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ May rest upon me therefore I take pleasure in infirmities in reproaches in needs in persecutions in distresses for Christ's sake for when I am weak then I am strong we believe your word Lord Jesus whenever we're weak you are the source of our strength

whenever we feel powerless we're strong in you Lord I Praise You Lord because your grace is sufficient to meet our every Need Your Loving kindness it's enough to fill every void in our lives and I praise you God because your mercy Mercy is more than enough your mercy is always available and never ending it covers a multitude of sins for this Lord we are ever grateful and I pray for anyone struggling with fear in their lives anyone who may be wrestling with doubt May the Holy Ghost move into their lives and remove every spirit that

stands against the word of God May the Holy Spirit sweep every negative thought or voice that stands against the word of God I pray that the Holy Spirit would keep us anchored in the word of God keep us rooted in scripture father cast out all our worries all our fears and every doubt in Joshua 1:9 the word of God says have I not commanded you be strong and courageous do not be afraid do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go as your children father we will not fear

because you are with us you are the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob a God who has never lost a battle and so father we are only strong and courageous because you are on our side Lord help us not to be overwhelmed by the trials of this life father be glorified and be praised forever more it's in Jesus name I pray amen we should all have the desire to encounter the presence of God in our lives at some point an encounter that will revive and refresh us acts 2:1 17 says and in the last days

it shall be declares God that I will pour out my spirit on All Flesh and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams God has promised to pour out his Spirit on All Flesh in the last days now my prayer to the Lord is that I would not be left out of this outpouring promised in the Bible my heart's cry is Lord pour out your spirit upon me so I encourage you to make sure your heart is not hardened to the call of

Jesus Christ make sure your schedule is not so busy that you will miss your Divine appointment with God in your prayer closet blind Bemus refused to let Jesus pass him by in Mark 10 verse 47 the Bible says and when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth he began to cry out loud and say Jesus Son of David have mercy on me we too must have that same attitude we need to be crying out to the Lord Don't Pass Me By without pouring out your spirit over my life over my home over my family

do not pass BL Me by oh gentle savior we should be yearning for Jesus Christ of Nazareth to have mercy on us if there is one thing that you should know and expect it's that the reality of Life can sometimes be Earth shattering and harsh and perhaps you may not be able to turn your situation around immediately but I pray that my words today will plant seeds of faith in your spirit don't be discouraged by what you see don't be discouraged by what you hear your life is in God's hands and that's something you should

actually tell yourself every once in a while my life is in God's hands your health may not be be where you want it to be but I encourage you to do all that you can and then ask God to meet you halfway your dream may seem like it's no longer possible but I encourage you to continue pursuing God whether or not you become a doctor whether or not you become an attorney or a pilot don't remove God from his throne in your life all because you're disappointed God Is Bigger Than That which comes against you

and if the fight intensifies and your own thoughts become negative and they start telling you that this situation is permanent that this result is permanent don't be discouraged even though it looks hopeless the word of God says joy comes in the morning it says to every thing there is a season so this too shall pass don't be moved by what you see with your natural eye but rely on the word of God that you know the word says that God is good he's a stronghold in the day of trouble focus on that instead of what's

disappointing you the word says you are my Hiding Place place and my shield it says I will look to the Lord I will wait for the god of my salvation and my God will hear me your life is in God's hands your future is in God's hands if life hits you hard and you fall wouldn't it be better to fall into the Loving Arms of Jesus Christ than anywhere else so don't be defined by a diagnosis don't be defined by the numbers in your bank account I've had to talk to myself and remind myself that

I have a Creator who has a plan and God's plan will still Prevail God's will will still be done he has ordered my steps and so I am not alone my beginning and my my end is known by him my highs and my lows are known by him and I walk by faith and not by sight believing that the Lord has numbered my good days to exceed my bad days so get to the point where you are content and at peace to say Lord my life is in your hands you have said be anxious for

nothing you've said that you know the number of hairs on my head and so I Surrender and yield to your will so remember acts 2:1 17 and make sure that you are a part of this outpouring from the Lord and in the last days it shall be God declares that I will pour out my spirit on All Flesh and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams and so now let us pray King Jesus the Alpha and Omega you have saved me in

every way possible you have made me complete in your love and in your mercy you have indeed made me whole there is no one comparable to you oh God and for this reason I bow and submit to you I bow down and confess that you are Lord and I need you in my life pass me not my savior I Need Just One Touch from you for my entire situation to turn around just a touch of the hym of your garment and my entire family family can be restored my health can be restored my faith can

be restored because you are a wonderwork God I am grateful for your protection throughout the day I thank you in advance for keeping me safe and protecting me through the night I thank you in advance King Jesus for defending me from the evil in the night father I I ask that you forgive me for every wrong that I have done both knowingly and unknowingly have mercy on me and my family I thank you for being a God who has been faithful throughout the ages I ask that you put my mind at ease with everything that

I am facing open my eyes and help me to see your hand in every situation that I face steady my emotions father where I am anxious give me peace Lord where I am troubled I give you my burdens and father when I am worried I cast my burdens on you you are the rock of all ages my strong tower and Fortress when I am tired and weary I will wait on you to renew my strength your word is a lamp into my my feet that guides me so that I may not stumble and fall I

pray that your strength renews us may your presence be felt continuously in our hearts I will forever be confident that you are a faithful God and you will be my light in the toughest of times father it is your pure and holy light that eradicates the darkness and destroys the traps set by my enemy May the joy of the Lord shine through me the joy spoken of in Philippians 4 verse 4 rejoice in the lord always again I will say rejoice and so I will rejoice I will rejoice in all of your goodness and all

of your faithfulness I will rejoice in you Lord because your word says in Philippians 4: 6 through 7 be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and Minds through Christ Jesus I pray that your peace will guard my heart and my mind Lord even though I don't know every step step of your plan I do know and trust that whatever your plans may be it will be for my good I

thank you for the promise in your word that when I call on you you will listen thank you for your promise that when I seek you with all of my heart I will find you I pray that you will keep me safe from danger and harm from the enemy help me Jesus and give me the grace to be able to have Fearless Faith a faith that is constant so that regardless of what the situation is I can remain rooted and firm in my belief in you should the test be a storm Lord give me the

faith to believe that you can calm the seas in my life should my test be a mountain give me the faith to believe that you my king can level that mountain should my test even be a Goliath Lord give me the faith to believe that your power will defeat every giant your word says in Deuteronomy 10:12 and now Israel what does the Lord your God require of you but to fear the lord your God to walk in all his ways to love him to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all

your soul father help me so that I may not have any fear in this world but rather may I only fear you my God I pray that I may walk in your ways help me to not walk in the counsil of the wicked nor to stand in the way of Sinners nor to sit in the seat of the scornful strengthen my faith Lord renew my faith re-energize my faith faith in this moment I pray for strong faith so that I may stand up for Jesus Christ and testify how he turned my mourning into dancing give

me strong faith Lord so that I may stand on your word in a world that is lost in a world that aims to discourage and drain hope be with me Holy Spirit as I seek to stand up in faith and lift the Royal B manner of the sooncoming king Lord Jesus may your will be done you are Mighty and Sovereign you control all things and so I reach out my hand to you so that you can hold me and guide me may your love surround me may your glorious presence be wrapped around me may your

precious powerful blood cover me in Jesus mighty name I pray amen Heavenly Father your word says in Jeremiah 33:3 call to me and I will answer you and show you Great and Mighty things which you do not know father I pray for each and every person listening in agreement right now as we call on you I pray that you would show us Great and Mighty things show us Great and Mighty things within our homes and in our families do a mighty work in our lives Lord for every adverse situation we Face show your hand to

be great and mighty we're praying for divine intervention Lord and we invite you to step in Break Every Chain that's holding us back from progressing or advancing forward break every evil chain that limits us whether it's in our families in our marriages career or health wipe out everything oppressive in our lives whatever it may be I pray that you would loose any chains in our lives just as you did with Paul and Silas set us free from whatever it is in our lives that's restricting us Psalm 145: 18 says the Lord is near to to

all who call on him to all who call on him in truth give us a breakthrough Lord we call on the name of Jesus Christ to move mountains at your name storms become calm Lord Jesus creation sings with joy at the sound of your name demons flee at the name of Jesus walls and barriers come down at your name not only will every knee bow and every tongue confess that you are Lord but every problem every stronghold every force of Darkness will be defeated at the name of Jesus Christ there is no power greater than

you nothing and no one can stand against you help me to fully trust in your power to bring breakthroughs in situations where I cannot find a solution you have promised that those who seek you Lord will lack no good thing let me lack nothing as I Look to You for every need and desire in my life I declare a complete breakthrough and I declare that I am victorious through Christ Jesus I come against every form of worry in my life even though things may seem impossible at times I trust and believe that with you Lord

nothing shall be impossible I pray that the holy spirit will guide and direct me always may he help me to make wise decisions and lead me along a path of righteousness Lord make a way for us where there seems there is no way you alone give us hope in situations where there seems to be no hope you alone provide endless possibilities and situations that look impossible we lift up our faith and place our confidence in you so that we may be victorious at the end in the mighty name of Jesus father surely goodness and mercy

will follow us all the days of our lives and that includes breakthroughs over the obstacles of the enemy that means we have the power through your blood to overcome daily direct our steps and fulfill your plans for our lives let our feet run swiftly to follow after you strengthen us to fix our eyes on you Jesus I pray for a supernatural [Music] breakthrough may we begin to see Victory and breakthrough at work in our lives help us see all the amazing things you have in store for us thank you for listening to this prayer King

Jesus amen dear God Almighty we bow down to you and say you are Great and Mighty to be praised I pray that the Holy Spirit would help each of us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus help us to be firm and consistently focused on God's word above the opinions of man above what our natural eyes can see King Jesus help us not to be swayed and distracted by this world or by the obstacles presented to us in this world but Lord I pray that you would give us hearts that are committed to you your

word tells us that the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the Earth so that he may support those whose heart is completely his father we declare that our hearts are fully confident in you our hearts fully trust you master and we pray that the holy spirit will help us to be disciplined and not to let our eyes wander or gaze at anything sinful father your word in Psalm 16:8 says I know the Lord is always with me I will not be shaken for he is right beside me King Jesus so long as

you are by my side then I cannot be shaken so we pray that you would take the lead Master have your way I pray for the to continue fighting my carnal desire to take matters into my own hands instead I submit to you and will keep my eyes always on Jesus Holy Spirit I pray that you would Minister to The Souls of each and every person listening be that still Small Voice that reminds us to constantly cling to Jesus Christ help us to keep our eyes on the Lord help us to keep our eyes on

things above and not on things of the earth convict us holy spirit to continually keep our eyes on the Lord father give us an attitude whereby if all is well our eyes would still be on Jesus the Bible then Hebrews 12:2 says fixing our eyes on Jesus the Pioneer and perfector of faith for the joy set before him he endured the cross scorning its shame and sat down at the right hand of the Throne of God when we Face the obstacles of Life help us to keep our eyes fixed on Christ Christ teach us holy

spirit to continuously examine ourselves and evaluate what our focus is and where our eyes are fixed Lord Jesus I thank you for your goodness I look to you because you took my sins when you hung on the cross you redeemed me Lord you have saved and delivered me if it were not for your wonderful sacrifice then where would I be if you never shed your precious blood then who could have saved me there is none like you King Jesus that's why my eyes will remain fixed on you you extended your loving arms to me and

called me to repentance because of this I rejoice and I say all praise and honor be to the most high because I am saved Sanctified and Redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ the Lamb of God there is no better time to praise you Lord than right now and so I Rejoice today I sing your praises today because if it wasn't for Jehovah Gyra who would provide for me if it wasn't for El Shai God Almighty who would save me if it wasn't for the lion of the tribe of Judah who would be my

protector I Praise You Lord You Are Holy and worthy of my adoration thank you for listening to my prayer in Jesus name I pray amen for a moment I want to encourage enourage you to meditate on Psalm 27 today in its entirety Psalm 27 encapsulates David's deep trust in God's protection guidance and presence and I believe that this is a passage that invites us to place our confidence in God even in the face of challenges and to seek him with all our heart just as David found comfort and courage in his relationship with God we

too can draw strength from our faith in the midst of life's trials and so Psalm 27 verse 1 the Lord is my light and my salvation Whom Shall I Fear the Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid David Begins by proclaiming his unwavering trust in God he uses powerful metaphors light and salvation to convey that God illuminates his path and rescues him from danger David's confidence in God's protection leads him to ask a rhetorical question if God is on his side there is no one to fear this verse sets

the tone for an entire Psalm emphasizing the strength of his faith in God's guidance and refuge verse two when the wicked Advance against me to devour me it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall here David acknowledges the existence of enemies and challenges that may come up against him however he firmly believes that God will cause his enemies to stumble and fail in their attempt to harm him this verse reflects David's assurance that God's power is greater than any threat he faces verse three though an army besiege me my heart will

not fear though War break out against me even then I will be confident David's confidence in God's protection continues to shine through he uses strong imagery of an army besieging him and War breaking out emphasizing the severity of the challenges he may encounter yet he remains unshaken in his faith declaring that his heart will not fear and he will maintain his confidence in God's Deliverance verse four one thing I ask from the Lord this only do I seek that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to Gaze

on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his Temple David expresses his deepest desire to be in the presence of God he longs to dwell in God's house not just for a moment but for all the days of of his life this reflects David's thirst for intimacy with God and His eagerness to experience the beauty and wonder of God's presence verse 5 for in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock

David reaffirms his trust in God's protection and refuge he believes that in times of trouble God will provide safety and shelter the image of being set high upon a rock symbolizes being placed above danger and adversity verse six then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of Joy I will sing and make music to the Lord David envisions a future where he will triumph over his enemies he anticipates offering sacrifices and praises to God with shouts of Joy celebrating God's faithfulness and deliverance

verse 7 hear my voice when I call Lord be merciful to me and answer me in this verse David shifts to a heartfelt plea he calls upon God to hear his prayers and to respond with mercy and Grace David recognizes his dependence on God's compassion and desires an intimate connection with him verse 8 my heart says of you seek his face your face Lord I will seek David's heart prompts him to seek God's face he responds to the call of his heart expressing his determination to seek God's presence with Zeal and devotion verse n do

not hide your face from me do not turn your servant away in Anger you have been my helper do not reject me or forsake me God my savior David ignit knowledges his Reliance on God's help and pleads for God's continued presence he asked God not to turn away from him recalling the history of God's guidance and salvation in his life verse 10 though my father and mother forsake me the Lord will receive me David acknowledges that even if his Earthly relationships falter he is confident that God will never abandon him this verse reflects David's deep

conviction in God's unwavering love and acceptance verse 11 teach me your way Lord lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors David desires to know God's ways and seeks his guidance he asks for direction and wisdom to navigate his challenges knowing that God's guideance will lead him on the right path verse 12 do not turn me over to the desires of my foes for false witnesses rise up against me spouting malicious accusations David recognizes the threats posed by his enemies and false Witnesses who spread lies against him he pleads with God to protect

him from their schemes verse 13 I remain confident of this I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living despite the challenges David holds on to his confidence in God's goodness he anticipates witnessing God's blessing and Provisions in his current life not just in the distant future verse 14 wait for the Lord be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord David concludes the song with a message of encouragement he encourages himself and others to wait patiently for the Lord's guidance strength and deliverance in times of uncertainty he advises

taking heart and finding strength in the Lord's promises God's strong hand is over your life on Saturday 25th of April 2015 four friends were in Nepal for a trip in the langang Kang Jin GPA Valley now this is a place a valley that many would describe as one of the most beautiful places on Earth but on this Saturday morning around 11:55 a.m. a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the nation of Nepal now the village that this group of friends were staying at was completely destroyed it was was reduced to Rubble but fortunately this group of friends

survived and so here in this little village that had just been violently shaken by an earthquake the group of friends banded together with some survivors and decided to trick all the way along the valley to the next Village which would be their exit to the mainland what they didn't know was that the next village where they thought they could get help that Village had also been completely destroyed and so as as this group is walking they're talking among themselves they're happy they've made it through alive they're celebrating the fact that they survived a life-threatening situation

when suddenly there was a strong Aftershock and this Aftershock happened just when they thought the worst was over just as they are leaving one disaster here comes another now they did survive this Aftershock but can I ask you have you ever found yourself facing one thing after another have you ever found yourself facing one battle after another and I mean you've come out of one situation you've barely survived and here comes yet another test another challenge that leaves you asking God why me so as Believers what do we do when we find ourselves in between

battles well before David faced his biggest test in the form of Goliath here's what the B says in 1st Samuel 17: 34-37 but David persisted I have been taking care of my father's sheep and goats he said when a lion or a bear comes to steal a lamb from the flock I go after it with a club and rescue the lamb from its mouth if the animal turns on me I catch it by the jaw and Club it to death I have done this to both lions and bears and I'll do it to this Pagan

Philistine too too for he has defied the armies of the Living God the Lord who rescued me from the claws of The Lion and the bear will rescue me from this Philistine Saul finally consented all right go ahead he said and may the Lord be with you David looked back at all of the victories that God had given him he remembered all that the Lord had done for him and I believe this is what we should do when we find our eles in similar situations remember the goodness of God remember the faithfulness of God remember

all of the battles that he has brought you through all of the attacks from the enemy that he shielded you from when you do this when you remember that the word of God says Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever then you will be able to overcome whatever it is that's stands in front of you in the book of Acts 23 Paul finds himself in a difficult situation he had been arrested he now stands in court in front of the Sanhedrin and he is the cause of a massive uproar between the Pharisees and

the Sadducees here's what the Bible says in Acts 23: 7 to1 and when he had said this A dissension arose between the Pharisees and the Sadducees and the assembly was divided for Sadducees say that there is no resurrection and no angel or Spirit but the Pharisees confess both then there arose a loud outcry and the scribes of the Pharisees party arose and protested saying we find no evil in this man but if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him let us not fight against God now when there arose a great dissension the commander

fearing lest Paul might be pulled to Pieces by them commanded the soldiers to go down and take him by force from among them and bring him into the barracks but the following night the Lord stood by him and said be of good cheer Paul for as you have testified for me in Jerusalem so you must also bear witness at [Music] Rome so here Paul stands he stands accused he stands in the middle of enemies he is facing a very real threat on his life but verse 11 says the following night the Lord stood by him

the Lord stood by him what more do you need in this life other than for God to stand by you why should you worry why should you fear or be anxious when you know that God stands beside you isn't it remarkable that just when Paul might have been forgiven for thinking am I doing the right thing when the whole world seems to be against me just when Paul was in the firing line there was God standing beside him God was honoring his word which says in Deuteronomy 31:8 he will never leave you nor forsake you

do not be afraid do not be discouraged everything the Lord has for us is contained in these simple words he will never leave you or forsake you so if you're feeling like the weight of the entire world is on your shoulders God is right there beside you if you're feeling low anxious or worried take heart God stands beside you the key thing for us is to believe it's to have faith in the Lord and He will take care of everything else now let us pray Lord Jesus you are my great defender you are my mighty

protector Revelation 12:1 says and they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony and they did not love their lives to the death I am blessed because I'm covered by your blood Lord the Precious Blood of the Lamb of God your word tells me that I can overcome the Devil by the blood of the lamb and the word of my testimony and so I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my life I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my family the word of my testimony is that

Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and the Lord of lords the word of my testimony is that Jesus Christ is Victorious Jesus Christ is triumphant and greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world Lord Jesus you have never lost a battle there is no one who can challenge you and so I firmly place my confidence in you you are the reason why I am more than a conqueror you are the reason why my heart is filled with boldness and with courage Psalm 138 veres 7-8 says though I walk

in the midst of trouble you will revive me you will stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies and your right hand will save me the Lord will perfect that which concerns me your mercy oh Lord endures forever do not forsake the work of your hands I am encouraged by Your Word which tells me that you my Lord will perfect that which concerns me you will straighten out everything crooked in my path you will remove all obstacles and you will certainly prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies be praised

Lord you are an awesome God I pray that you would stand with me always the Bible says in Isaiah 59: 19 so shall they fear the name of the Lord from the West and his glory from the rising of the sun when the enemy comes in like a flood the spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him I Praise You Lord Jesus because when the enemy comes at me and my family you are faithful to block all of his attacks the enemy cannot overwhelm me because I am holding on to the promises

in God's word promises that tell me I have authority in jesus' name promises that tell me that a thousand may fall at my side 10,000 at my right hand but it will not come near me Lord Jesus I'm at peace I declare that there is no fear within me because you've not given me a spirit of fear you have given me a spirit of power love and a sound mind I can say that all is well with me because you are for me Lord and if God is for me who can be against me who

can stand against you the lion of the tribe of Judah so great is your power and might that the Earth is your foot stol thank you for your faithfulness my great deliverer thank you for hearing my prayer in Jesus name I pray amen Matthew 14:31 says immediately Jesus reached out his hand and called him you of little faith he said why did you doubt oh you of little faith why did you doubt that's the question Jesus asked Peter as the Lord pulled his disciple up from the water at the Lord's invitation Peter had walked on

water to come to Jesus but before he made it to Jesus the howling wind and the storm tossed waves caused Peter to fear as the fear set in he began to sink by by the Lord's power Peter had done the impossible he had walked on water but doubt and fear caused Peter to lose focus on Jesus and threatened his life perhaps Jesus's question seems a bit harsh surely we can sympathize with Peter who wouldn't have a bit of Doubt while walking on a stormy sea and yet the Lord's desire was for Peter's Faith to triumph

over doubt you see doubt is a dangerous weapon in Satan's Arsenal and it is one that Christians must strive to overcome if you've ever struggled with doubt then I need you to realize that you are not alone there are many good people who have consider Sarah the wife of Abraham few individuals stand as examples of Faith like Abraham and Sarah but even Sarah wrestled with doubt in Genesis 18 God informed Med Abraham that he and Sarah would have a son while that should be exciting news it seemed impossible because the couple was advanced in years

they were too old to have children Sarah overheard this announcement and the Bible records so Sarah laughed to herself saying after I am worn out and my Lord is old shall I have pleasure that may not seem like a big deal but the word laugh can mean to laugh and justest or to laugh in scorn it seems the latter is what Sarah did she laughed because she doubted the Lord's promise Sarah tried to deny it but God's question was direct is anything too hard for the Lord this demonstrates one of the primary problems with doubt

doubt reveals that we don't fully trust God when we doubt it's as though we're saying I don't believe God can do this maybe we doubt our sins can be forgiven perhaps we doubt the gospel can change someone in our lives essentially doubt is nothing short of thinking less of God and his power now that's a dangerous mindset indeed and then of course we have doubting Thomas for whatever reason Thomas was not with the other disciples in the upper room on the day of Jesus's resurrection he wasn't there to see the Lord with own eyes and

when the others reported to Thomas that Jesus had risen he didn't believe them he famously said unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails and place my finger into the mark of the nails and place my hand into his side I will never believe Thomas's doubt robbed him of much joy at least for a time it was another 8 days before Jesus appeared to the disciples again this time Thomas was present and his doubts they were blown away but think about this for a little more than a week the other disciples lived

with the joy of knowing Jesus their teacher their friend their Messiah he was alive if Thomas had remembered the Lord's words and believed the other disciples testimony he could have shared in their joy and hope instead Thomas spent that week in the pit of of Despair and depression because doubt is a robber of joy and doubt can have dire consequences Sarah's doubt was overcome and she witnessed God's power when she later conceived and bore a son just as God had promised Thomas's doubt was defeated by seeing the Risen Lord but others in the Bible were

not so fortunate for their doubt condemned them in Luke's gospel he records that one of the two thieves crucified with Jesus was saved one Thief stopped reviling Jesus defended the Lord and asked Jesus to remember him when he entered his kingdom that's a lot of faith for a dying man but what about the other Thief it would seem he didn't have the same change of heart he mocked Jesus and never placed his faith in the Lord why it was probably because of doubt he likely d doubted that a crucified man a dying man had any

power to save he doubted Jesus was the Messiah he doubted Jesus was the son of God and that doubt was his ultimate downfall again doubt has consequences even in daily life we understand this truth when a detective doubts a witness's testimony or a suspect's alibi that will significantly affect his invest tigation when a jury doubts a defendant's claims it may have life-altering consequences when a husband or wife doubts the Loyalty of their spouse it can ruin their marriage doubt and suspicion will change how they think and how they treat one another doubt can become a

poison it can be a poison that destroys an otherwise loving relationship yes doubt certainly has consequences and this is especially true spiritually when the Christian Harbors doubts the consequences can be devastating James warns against this great danger James 1: 5-8 says if you need Wisdom ask our generous God and he will give it to you he will not rebuke you for asking but when you ask him be sure that your faith is in God alone do not waver for a person with div divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is

blown and tossed by the wind such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord their loyalty is divided between God and the world and they are unstable in everything they do you see dear listener the problem with doubt is that it is the opposite of faith faith is what helps us stand firm doubt will toss us around like a ship on a a stormy sea with no anger faith it gives us stability and strength but doubt doubt makes us unstable and unable to Faithfully serve God when we are ruled by doubt instead of

Faith even our prayers are hindered according to James yes doubt is a grave danger with terrible consequences doubt turns our eyes away from Jesus causes us to question God robs us of joy and even hinders our prayers worst of all if we persist in doubt it can even Rob us of Eternal salvation but I need you to realize you do not have to succumb to doubt even if doubts have plagued the past you can overcome them how the same way Peter did turn to Jesus and seek his help don't let the winds and waves cause

doubt keep your eyes firmly fixed on Jesus and his word place your trust in him and follow him Faithfully all the days of your life now with this understanding that we cannot please God without faith that faith is an essential part of our Christian lives let us go Before the Throne of God and ask him to help us be emboldened to walk in faith and to act in faith every single day of Our Lives Lord Jesus be praised be glorified and honored Lord we desire to grow in faith we desire to grow in understanding father

we want to grow in wisdom Matthew 7: 24-27 says therefore whoever hears these sayings of mine and does them I will liken him to a wise man who built his House on the Rock and the rain descended the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that house and it did not fall for it was founded on the Rock but everyone who hears these saying of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand and the rain descended the floods came and the winds blew

and beat on that house and it fell and great was its fall Lord Jesus we will build our lives on your words because our house will not fall when it's built on you master god you're the Rock of Ages and so when The Rains of Life come when the floods of Life come when the winds blow and beat on us we will not fall because you Lord are our anchor our Chief Cornerstone and the solid rock on which we stand father forgive us for the times that we have doubted you Lord I pray that you

would displace any doubt and fill our hearts with faith I ask that the Holy Spirit would Empower us and strengthen us when we feel weak Holy Ghost remind us that God's word in 2 Corinthians 12: 9 and 10 says and he said to me my grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in weakness therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ May rest upon me therefore I take pleasure in infirmities in reproaches in needs in persecutions in distresses for Christ's sake for when I am

weak then I am strong we believe your word Lord Jesus whenever we're weak you are the source of our strength whenever we feel powerless we're strong in you Lord I Praise You Lord because your grace is sufficient to meet our every Need Your Loving kindness it's enough to fill every void in our lives and I praise you God because your mercy is more than enough your mercy is always available and never ending it covers a multitude of sins for this Lord we are ever grateful and I pray for anyone struggling with fear in their lives

anyone who may be wrestling with doubt May the Holy Ghost move into their lives and remove every spirit that stands against the word of God May the Holy Spirit sweep away every negative thought or voice that stands against the word of God God I pray that the Holy Spirit would keep us anchored in the word of God keep us rooted in scripture father cast out all our worries all our fears and every doubt in Joshua 1:9 the word of God says have I not commanded you be strong and courageous do not be afraid do not

be discouraged for the Lord your God will will be with you wherever you go as your children father we will not fear because you are with us you are the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob a God who has never lost a battle and so father we are only strong and courageous because you are on our side Lord help us not to be overwhelmed by the trials of this life father be glorified and be praised forever more it's in jesus' name I pray amen we should all have the desire to encounter the presence of God

in our lives at some point an encounter that will revive and refresh us acts chap 2 verse 17 says and in the last days it shall be declares God that I will pour out my spirit on All Flesh and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams God has promised to pour out his Spirit on All Flesh in the last days now my prayer to the Lord is that I would not be left out of this outpouring promised in the Bible my heart's

cry is Lord Lord pour out your spirit upon me so I encourage you to make sure your heart is not hardened to the call of Jesus Christ make sure your schedule is not so busy that you will miss your Divine appointment with God in your prayer closet blind Bemus refused to let Jesus pass him by in Mark 10:47 the Bible says and when he heard that it was Jesus of Na Nazareth he began to cry out loud and say Jesus Son of David have mercy on me we too must have that same attitude we need

to be crying out to the Lord Don't Pass Me By without pouring out your spirit over my life over my home over my family do not pass me by oh gentle savior we should be yearning for Jesus Christ of Nazareth to have mercy on us if there is one thing that you should know and expect it's that the reality of Life can sometimes be Earth shattering and harsh and perhaps you may not be able to turn your situation around immediately but I pray that my words today will plant seeds of faith in your spirit don't

be discouraged by what you see don't be discouraged by what you hear your life is in God's hands and that's something you should actually tell yourself every once in a while my life is in God's hands your health may not be where you want it to be but I encourage you to do all that you can and then ask God to meet you halfway your dream may seem like it's no longer possible but I encourage you to continue pursuing God whether or not you become a doctor whether or not you become an attorney or a

pilot don't remove God from his throne in your life all because you're disappointed God Is Bigger than that which comes against you and if the fight intensifies and your own thoughts become negative and they start telling you that this situation is permanent that this result is permanent don't be discouraged even though it looks hopeless the word of God says joy comes in the morning it says to everything there is a season so this too Shall Pass don't be moved by what you see with your natural eye but rely on the word of God that you

know the word says that God is good he's a stronghold in the day of trouble focus on that instead of what's disappointing you the word says you are my Hiding Place and my shield it says I will look to the Lord I will wait for the god of my salvation and my God will hear me your life is in God's hands your future is in God's hands if life hits you hard and you fall wouldn't it be better to fall into the Loving Arms of Jesus Christ than anywhere else so don't be defined by a

diagnosis don't be defined by the numbers in your bank account I've had to talk to myself and remind myself that I have a Creator who has a plan and God's plan will still Prevail God's will will still be done he has ordered my steps and so I am not alone my beginning and my end is known by him my highs and my LS are known by him and I walk by faith and not by sight believing that the Lord has numbered my good days to exceed my bad days so get to the point where you

are content and at peace to say Lord my life is in your hands you have said be anxious for nothing you've said that you know the number of hairs on my head and so I Surrender and yield to your will so remember acts 2:1 17 and make sure that you are a part of this outpouring from the Lord and in the last days it shall be God declares that I will pour out my spirit on All Flesh and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy and and your young men shall see visions and your old

men shall dream dreams and so now let us pray King Jesus the Alpha and Omega you have saved me in every way possible you have made me complete in your love and in your mercy you have indeed made me whole there is no one comparable to you oh God and for this reason I bow and submit to you I bow down and confess that you are Lord and I need you in my life pass me not my savior I Need Just One Touch from you for my entire situation to turn around just a touch of

the hym of your garment and my entire family can be restored my health can be restored my faith can be restored because you are a wonderwork God I am grateful for your protection throughout the day I thank you in advance for keeping me safe and protecting me through the night I thank you in advance King Jesus for defending me from the evil in the night father I ask that you forgive me for every wrong that I have done both no knowingly and unknowingly have mercy on me and my family I thank you for being a

God who has been faithful throughout the ages I ask that you put my mind at ease with everything that I am facing open my eyes and help me to see your hand in every situation that I face steud my emotions father where I am anxious give give me peace Lord where I am troubled I give you my burdens and father when I am worried I cast my burdens on you you are the rock of all ages my strong tower and Fortress when I am tired and weary I will wait on you to renew my strength

your word is a lamp into my feet that guides me so that I may not stumble and fall I pray that your strength renews us may your presence be felt continuously in our hearts I will forever be confident that you are a faithful God and you will be my light in the toughest of times father it is your pure and holy light that eradicates the darkness and destroys the traps set by my enemy May the joy of the Lord shine through me The Joy spoken of in Philippians 4:4 rejoice in the lord always again I

will say rejoice and so I will rejoice I will rejoice in all of your goodness and all of your faithfulness I will rejoice in you Lord because your word says in Philippians 4: 6-7 be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and Minds through Christ Jesus I pray that your peace will guard my heart and my mind Lord even though I don't know every step of your plan I do know

and trust that whatever ever your plans may be it will be for my good I thank you for the promise in your word that when I call on you you will listen thank you for your promise that when I seek you with all of my heart I will find you I pray that you will keep me safe from danger and harm from the enemy help me Jesus and give me the grace to be able to have Fearless faith a faith that is constant so that regardless of what the situation is I can remain rooted and

firm in my belief in you should the test be a storm Lord give me the faith to believe that you can calm the seas in my life should my test be a mountain give me the faith to believe that you my king can level that mountain should my test even be a Goliath Lord give me me the faith to believe that your power will defeat every giant your word says in Deuteronomy 10:12 and now Israel what does the Lord your God require of you but to fear the lord your God to walk in all his

ways to love him to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul father help me so that I may not have have any fear in this world but rather may I only fear you my God I pray that I may walk in your ways help me to not walk in the counsel of the wicked nor to stand in the way of Sinners nor to sit in the seat of the scornful strengthen my faith Lord renew my faith reenergize my faith in this moment I pray for strong Faith so that

I may stand up for Jesus Christ and testify how he turned my mourning into dancing give me strong faith Lord so that I may stand on your word in a world that is lost in a world that aims to discourage and drain hope be with me Holy Spirit as I seek to stand up in faith and lift the Royal Banner of the sooncoming king Lord Jesus may your will be done you are Mighty and Sovereign you control all things and so I reach out my hand to you so that you can hold me and guide

me may your love surround me may your glorious presence be wrapped around me may your precious powerful blood cover me in Jesus mighty name I pray amen Heavenly Father your word says in Jeremiah 33:3 call to me and I will answer you and show you Great and Mighty things which you do not know father I pray for each and every person listening in agreement right now as we call on you I pray that you would show us Great and Mighty things show us Great and Mighty things within our homes and in our fam do a

mighty work in our lives Lord for every adverse situation we Face show your hand to be great and mighty we're praying for divine intervention Lord and we invite you to step in Break Every Chain that's holding us back from progressing or advancing forward break every evil chain that limits us whether it's in our families in our marriages career or for health wipe out everything oppressive in our lives whatever it may be I pray that you would loose any chains in our lives just as you did with Paul and Silas set us free from whatever it

is in our lives that's restricting us Psalm 145: 18 says the Lord is near to all who call on him to all who call on him in truth give us a breakthrough Lord we call on the name of Jesus Christ to move mountains at your name storms become calm Lord Jesus creation sings with joy at the sound of your name demons flee at the name of Jesus walls and barriers come down at your name not only will every knee bow and every tongue confess that you are Lord but every problem every stronghold every force of

Darkness will be defeated at the name of Jesus Christ there is no power greater than you nothing and no one can stand against you help me to fully trust in your power to bring breakthroughs in situations where I cannot find a solution you have promised that those who seek you Lord will lack no good thing let me lack nothing as I Look to You for every need and desire in my life I declare a complete breakthrough and I declare that I am victorious through Christ Jesus I come against every form of worry in my life

even though things may seem impossible at times I trust and believe that with you Lord nothing shall be impossible I I pray that the holy spirit will guide and direct me always may he help me to make wise decisions and lead me along a path of righteousness Lord make a way for us where there seems there is no way you alone give us hope in situations where there seems to be no hope you alone provide endless possibilities and situations that look impossible we lift up our faith and place our confidence in you so that we

may be victorious at the end in the mighty name of Jesus father surely goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our lives and that includes breakthroughs over the obstacles of the enemy that means we have the power through your blood to overcome daily direct our steps and fulfill your plans for our lives let our feet run swiftly to follow after you strengthen us to fix our eyes on you Jesus I pray for a supernatural breakthrough may we begin to see Victory and breakthrough at work in our lives help us see all the

amazing things you have in store for us thank you for listening to this prayer King Jesus amen dear God Almighty we bow down to you and say you are Great and Mighty to be praised I pray that the Holy Spirit would help each of us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus help us to be firm and consistently focused on God's word above the opinions of man above what our natural eyes can see King Jesus help us not to be swayed and distracted by this world or by the obstacles presented to us in this world

but Lord I pray that you would give us hearts that are committed to you your word tells us that the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the Earth so that he may support those whose heart is completely his is Father we declare that our hearts are fully confident in you our hearts fully trust you master and we pray that the holy spirit will help us to be disciplined and not to let our eyes wander or gaze at anything sinful father your word in psalm 16:8 says I know the Lord is always with

me I will not be shaken for he is right beside me King Jesus so long as you are by my side then I cannot be shaken so we pray that you would take the lead Master have your way I pray for the strength to continue fighting my carnal desire to take matters into my own hands instead I submit to you and will keep my eyes always on Jesus Holy Spirit I pray that you would Minister to The Souls of each and every person listening be that still Small Voice that reminds us to constantly cling to

Jesus Christ help us to keep our eyes on the Lord help us to keep our eyes on things above and not on things of the earth convict us holy spirit to continually keep our eyes on the Lord father give us an attitude whereby if all is well our eyes would still be on Jesus the Bible in Hebrews 12:2 says fixing our eyes on Jesus the Pioneer and perfector of faith for the joy set before him he endured the cross scorning its shame and sat down at the right hand of the Throne of God when we

Face the obstacles of Life help us to keep our eyes fixed on Christ teach us holy spirit to continuously examine ourselves and evaluate what our focus is and where our eyes are fixed Lord Jesus I thank you for your goodness I look to you because you took my sins when you hung on the cross you redeemed me Lord you have saved and delivered me if it were not for your wonderful sacrifice then where would I be if you never shed your precious blood then who could have saved me there is none like you King Jesus

that's why my eyes will remain fixed on you you extended your loving arms to me and called me to repentance because of this I rejoice and I say all praise and honor be to the most high because I am saved Sanctified and Redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ the Lamb of God there is no better time to praise you Lord than right now and so I Rejoice today I sing your praises today because if it wasn't for Jehovah Gyra who would provide for me if it wasn't for elsh God Almighty who would save

me if it wasn't for the lion of the tribe of Judah who would be my protector I Praise You Lord You Are Holy and worthy of my adoration thank you for listening to my prayer in Jesus name I pray amen for a moment I want to encourage you to meditate on Psalm 27 today in it entirety Psalm 27 encapsulates David's deep trust in God's protection guidance and presence and I believe that this is a passage that invites us to place our confidence in God even in the face of challenges and to seek him with all

our heart just as David found comfort and courage in his relationship with God we too can draw strength from our faith in the midst of life's trials and so Psalm chapter 27 verse 1 the Lord is my light and my salvation Whom Shall I Fear the Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid David Begins by proclaiming his unw fing trust in God he uses powerful metaphors light and salvation to convey that God illuminates his path and rescues him from danger David's confidence in God's protection leads him to ask a

rhetorical question if God is on his side there is no one to fear this verse sets the tone for an entire psalm emphasizing the strength of his faith in God's guidance and refuge verse two when the wicked Advance against me to devour me it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall here David acknowledges the existence of enemies and challenges that may come up against him however he firmly believes that God will cause his enemies to stumble and fail in their attempt to harm him this verse reflects David's assurance that God's power

is greater than any threat he faces verse three though an army besiege me my heart will not fear though War break out against me even then I will be confident David's confidence in God's protection continued to shine through he uses strong imagery of an army besieging him and War breaking out emphasizing the sity of the challenges he may encounter yet he remains unshaken in his faith declaring that his heart will not fear and he will maintain his confidence in God's Deliverance verse 4 one thing I asked from the Lord this only do I seek that

I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to Gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his Temple David expresses his deepest desire to be in the presence of God he longs to dwell in God's house not just for a moment but for all the days of his life this reflects David's thirst for intimacy with God and His eagerness to experience the beauty and wonder of God's presence verse 5 for in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling he will

hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock David reaffirms his trust in God's protection and refuge he believes that in times of trouble God will provide safety and shelter the image of being set high upon a rock symbolizes being placed above danger and adversity verse six then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of Joy I will sing and make music to the Lord David envisions a future where he will triumph over his enemies he

anticipates offering sacrifices and praises to God with shouts of Joy celebrating God's faithfulness and deliverance verse 7 hear my voice when I call Lord be merciful to me and answer me in this verse David shifts to a heart heartfelt plea he calls upon God to hear his prayers and to respond with mercy and Grace David recognizes his dependence on God's compassion and desires an intimate connection with him verse 8 my heart says of you seek his face your face Lord I will seek David's heart prompts him to seek God's face he responds to the call

of his heart expressing his determination to seek God's presence with Zeal and devotion verse n do not hide your face from me do not turn your servant away in Anger you have been my helper do not reject me or forsake me God my savior David acknowledges his Reliance on God's help and pleads for God's continued presence he asked God not to turn away from him recalling the history of God's guidance and salvation in his life verse 10 though my father and mother forsake me the Lord will receive me David acknowledges that even if his Earthly

relationships falter he is confident that God will never abandon him this verse reflects David's deep conv ition in God's unwavering love and acceptance verse 11 teach me your way Lord lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors David desires to know God's ways and seeks his guidance he asks for direction and wisdom to navigate his challenges knowing that God's guidance will lead him on the right path verse 12 do not turn me over to the desires of my foes for false witnesses rise up against me spouting malicious accusations David recognizes the threats posed

by his enemies and false Witnesses who spread lies against them he pleads with God to protect him from their schemes verse 13 I remain confident of this I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living despite the challenges David holds on to his confidence in God's goodness he anticipates witnessing God's blessing and Provisions in his current life not just in the distant future verse 14 wait for the Lord be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord David concludes the song with a message of encouragement he encourages himself and

others to wait patiently for the Lord's guidance strength and deliverance in times of uncertainty he advises taking heart and finding strength in the Lord's promises God's strong hand is over your life on Saturday 25th of April 2015 four friends were in Paul for a trip in the langang Kang Jin GPA Valley now this is a place a valley that many would describe as one of the most beautiful places on Earth but on this Saturday morning around 11:55 a.m. a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the nation of Nepal now the village that this group of friends were

staying at was completely destroyed it was reduced to Rubble but fortunately this group of friends survived and so here in this little village that had just been violently shaken by an earthquake the group of friends banded together with some survivors and decided to trick all the way along the valley to the next Village which would be their exit to the mainland what they didn't know was that the next village where they thought they could get help that Village had also been completely destroyed and so as this group is walking they're talking among themselves they're happy

they've made it through aive they're celebrating the fact that they survived a life-threatening situation when suddenly there was a strong Aftershock and this Aftershock happened just when they thought the worst was over just as they are leaving one disaster here comes another now they did survive this Aftershock but can I ask you have you ever found yourself facing one thing after another have you ever found yourself facing one battle after another and I mean you've come out of one situation you've barely survived and here comes yet another test another challenge that leaves you asking God

why me so as Believers what do we do when we find ourselves in between battles well before David faced his biggest test in the form of Goliath here's what the Bible says in 1st Samuel 17:34 to3 37 but David persisted I have been taking care of my father's sheep and goats he said when a lion or a bear comes to steal a lamb from the flock I go after it with a club and rescue the lamb from its mouth if the animal turns on me I catch it by the jaw and Club it to death

I have done this to both lions and bears and I'll do it to this Pagan Philistine too for he has defied the armies of the Living God the Lord who rescued me from the claws of The Lion and the bear will rescue me from this Philistine Saul finally consented all right go ahead he said and may the Lord be with you David looked back at all of the victories that God had given him he remembered all that the Lord had done for him and I believe this is what we should do when we find ourselves

in similar situations remember the goodness of God remember the faithfulness of God remember all of the battles that he has brought you through all of the attacks from the enemy that he shielded you from when you do this when you remember that the word of God says Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever then you will be able to overcome whatever it is that stands in front of you in the book of Acts chap 23 Paul finds himself in a difficult situation he had been arrested he now stands in court in front of

the Sanhedrin and he is the cause of a massive uproar between the Pharisees and the Sadducees here's what the Bible says in Acts 23:7 to 11 and when he had said this A dissension arose between the Pharisees and the Sadducees and the assembly was divided for Sadducees say that there is no resurrection and no angel or Spirit but the Pharisees confess both then there arose a loud outcry and the scribes of the Pharisees party arose and protested saying we find no evil in this man but if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him

let us not fight against God now when there arose a great dissension the commander fearing lest Paul might be pulled to Pieces by them commanded the soldiers to go down and take him by force from among them and bring him into the barracks but the following night the Lord stood by him and said be of good cheer Paul for as you have testified for me in Jerusalem so you must also bear witness at [Music] Rome so here Paul stands he stands accused he stands in the middle of enemies he is facing a very real threat

on his life but verse 11 says the following night the Lord stood by him the Lord stood by him what more do you need in this life other than for God to stand by you why should you worry why should you fear or be anxious when you know that God stands beside you isn't it remarkable that just when Paul might have been forgiven for thinking am I doing the right thing when the whole world seems to be against me just when Paul was in the firing line there was God standing beside him God was honoring

his word which says in Deuteronomy 31:8 he will never leave you nor forsake you do not be afraid do not be discouraged everything the Lord has for us is contained in these simple words he will never leave you or forsake you so if you're feeling like the weight of the entire world is on your shoulders God is right there beside you if you're feeling low anxious or worried take heart God stands beside you the key thing for us is to believe it's to have faith in the Lord and he will take care of everything else

now let us pray Lord Jesus you are my great defender you are my mighty protector Revelation 12: 11 says and they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony and they did not love their lives to the death I am blessed because I'm covered by your blood Lord the Precious Blood of the Lamb of God your word tells me that I can overcome the Devil by the blood of the lamb and the word of my testimony and so I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my life I

plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my family the word of my testimony is that Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and the Lord of lords the word of my testimony is that Jesus Christ is Victorious Jesus Christ is triumphant and greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world Lord Jesus you have never lost a battle there is no one who can challenge you and so I firmly place my confidence in you you are the reason why I am more than a conqueror you are the reason why my

heart is filled with boldness and with courage Psalm 138: 7-8 says though I walk in the midst of trouble you will revive me you will stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies and your right hand will save me the Lord will perfect that which concern conerns me your mercy oh Lord endures forever do not forsake the work of your hands I am encouraged by Your Word which tells me that you my Lord will perfect that which concerns me you will straighten out everything crooked in my path you will remove all obstacles and

you will certainly prepare table before me in the presence of my enemies be praised Lord you are an awesome God I pray that you would stand with me always the Bible says in Isaiah 59: 19 so shall they fear the name of the Lord from the West and his glory from the rising of the sun when the enemy comes in like a flood the spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him I praise you Lord Jesus because when the enemy comes at me and my family you are faithful to block all of

his attacks the enemy cannot overwhelm me because I am holding on to the promises in God's word promises that tell me I have authority in Jesus name promises that tell me that a th may fall at my side 10,000 at my right hand but it will not come near me Lord Jesus I'm at peace I declare that there is no fear within me because you've not given me a spirit of fear you have given me a spirit of power love and a sound mind I can say that all is well with me because you are

for me Lord and if God is for me who can be against me who can stand against you the lion of the tribe of Judah so great is your power and might that the Earth is your foot stol thank you for your faithfulness my great deliverer thank you for hearing my prayer in Jesus name I pray amen Matthew 14:31 says immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him you of little faith he said why did you doubt oh you of little faith why did you doubt that's the question Jesus asked Peter as the Lord

pulled his disciple up from the water at the Lord's invitation Peter had walked on water to come to Jesus but before he made it to Jesus the howling wind and the storm tossed waves caused Peter to fear as the fear set in he began to sink by the Lord's power Peter had done the impossible he had walked walked on water but doubt and fear caused Peter to lose focus on Jesus and threatened his life perhaps Jesus's question seems a bit harsh surely we can sympathize with Peter who wouldn't have a bit of Doubt while walking

on a stormy sea and yet the Lord's desire was for Peter's Faith to triumph over doubt you see doubt is a dangerous weapon in Satan's Arsenal and it is one that Christians must strive to overcome if you've ever struggled with doubt then I need you to realize that you are not alone there are many good people who have consider Sarah the wife of Abraham few individuals stand as examples of Faith like Abraham and Sarah but even Sarah wrestled with doubt in Genesis 18 God informed Abraham that he and Sarah would have a son while that

should be exciting news it seemed impossible because the couple was advanced in years they were too old to have children Sarah overheard this announcement and the Bible records so Sarah laughed to herself saying after I am worn out and my Lord is old shall I have pleasure that may not seem like a big deal but the word laugh can mean to laugh in justest or to laugh in scorn it seems the latter is what Sarah did she laughed because she doubted the Lord's promise Sarah tried to deny it but God's question was direct is anything

too hard for the Lord this demonstrates one of the primary problems with doubt doubt reveals that we don't fully trust God when we doubt it's as though we're saying I don't believe God can do this maybe we doubt our sins can be forgiven per perhaps we doubt the gospel can change someone in our lives essentially doubt is nothing short of thinking less of God and his power now that's a dangerous mindset indeed and then of course we have doubting Thomas for whatever reason Thomas was not with the other disciples in the upper room on the

day of Jesus's resurrection he wasn't there to see the Lord with his own eyes and when the others reported to Thomas that Jesus had risen he didn't believe them he famously said unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails and place my finger into the mark of the nails and place my hand into his side I will never believe Thomas's doubt robbed him of much joy at least for a time it was another 8 days before Jesus appeared to the disciples again this time Thomas was present and his doubts they were blown

away but think about this for a little more than a week the other disciples lived with the joy of knowing Jesus their teacher their friend their Messiah he was alive if Thomas had remembered the Lord's words and believed the other disciples testimony he could have shared in their joy and hope instead Thomas spent that weak in the pit of despair and depression because doubt is a robber of joy and doubt can have dire consequences Sarah's doubt was overcome and she witnessed God's power when she later conceived and bore a son just as God had promised

Thomas's doubt was defeated by seeing the Risen Lord but others in the Bible were not so fortunate for their doubt condemned them in Luke's gospel he records that one of the two thieves crucified with Jesus was saved one Thief stopped reviling Jesus defended the Lord and asked Jesus to remember him when he entered his kingdom that's a lot of faith for a dying man but what about the other Thief it would seem he didn't have the same change of heart he mocked Jesus and never placed his faith in the Lord why it was probably because

of doubt he likely doubted that a crucified man a dying man had any power to save he doubted Jesus was the Messiah he doubted Jesus was the son of God and that doubt was his ultimate downfall again doubt has consequences even in daily life we understand this truth when a detective doubts a witness's testimony or a suspect's alibi that will significantly affect his investigation when a jury doubts a defendant's claims it may have life-altering consequences when a husband or wife doubts the Loyalty of their spouse it can ruin their marriage doubt and suspicion will change

how they think and how they treat one another doubt can become a poison it can be a poison that destroys an otherwise loving relationship yes doubt certainly has consequences and this is especially true spiritually when the Christian heart Harbors doubts the consequences can be devastating James warns against this great danger James 1: 5-8 says if you need Wisdom ask our generous God and he will give it to you he will not rebuke you for asking but when you ask him be sure that your faith is in God alone do not waver for a person with

divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord their loyalty is divided between God and the world and they are unstable in everything they do you see dear listener the problem with doubt is that it is the opposite of faith faith is what helps us stand firm doubt will toss us around like a ship on a stormy sea with no anger faith it gives us stability and strength but doubt doubt makes us unstable and unable

to Faithfully serve God when we are ruled by doubt instead of Faith even our prayers are hindered according to James yes doubt is a grave danger with terrible consequences doubt turns our eyes away from Jesus causes us to question God robs us of joy and even hinders our prayers worst of all if we persist in doubt it can even Rob us of Eternal salvation but I need you to realize you do not have to succumb to doubt even if doubts have plagued the past you can overcome them how the same way Peter did turn to

Jesus and seek his help don't let the winds and wavves cause doubt keep your eyes firmly fixed on Jesus and his word word place your trust in him and follow him Faithfully all the days of your life now with this understanding that we cannot please God without faith that faith is an essential part of our Christian lives let us go Before the Throne of God and ask him to help us be emboldened to walk in faith and to act in faith every single day of Our Lives Lord Jesus be praised be glorified and honored Lord

we desire to grow in faith we desire to grow in understanding father we want to grow in wisdom Matthew 7 veres 24- 27 says therefore whoever hears these sayings of mine and does them I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock and the rain descended the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that house and it did not fall for it was founded on the Rock but everyone who hears these sayings of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his

house on the sand and the rain descended the floods came and the winds blew and beat on that house and it fell and great was its fall Lord Jesus we will build our lives on your words because our house will not fall when it's built on you master god you're the Rock of Ages and so when The Rains of Life come when the floods of Life come when the winds blow and beat on us we will not fall because you Lord are our anchor our Chief Cornerstone and the solid rock on which we stand father

for for give us for the times that we have doubted you Lord I pray that you would displace any doubt and fill our hearts with faith I ask that the Holy Spirit would Empower us and strengthen us when we feel weak Holy Ghost remind us that God's word in 2 Corinthians 12: 9 and 10 says and he said to me my grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in weakness therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ May rest upon me therefore I take pleasure

in infirmities in reproaches in needs in persecutions in distresses for Christ's sake for when I am weak then I am strong we believe your word Lord Jesus whenever we're weak you are the source of our strength whenever we feel powerless we're strong in you Lord I Praise You Lord because your grace is sufficient to meet our every Need Your Loving kindness it's enough to fill every void in our lives and I praise you God because your mercy is more than enough your mercy is always available and never ending it covers a multitude of sins for

this Lord we are ever grateful and I pray for anyone struggling with fear in their lives anyone who may be wrestling with doubt May the Holy Ghost move into their lives and remove every spirit that stands against the word of God May the Holy Spirit sweep away every negative thought or voice that stands against the word of God I pray that the Holy Spirit would keep us anchored in the word of God keep us rooted in scripture father cast out all our worries all our fears and every doubt in Joshua 1:9 the word of God

says have I not commanded you be strong and courageous do not be afraid do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go as your children father we will not fear because you are with us you are the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob a God who has never lost a battle and so father we are only strong and courageous because you are on our side Lord help us not to be overwhelmed by the trials of this life father be glorified and be praised forever more it send Jesus name

I pray amen we should all have the desire to encounter the presence of God in our lives at some point an encounter that will revive and refresh us acts 2:1 17 says and in the last days it shall be declares God that I will pour out my spirit on All Flesh and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams God has promised to pour out his Spirit on All Flesh in the last days now my prayer to the Lord is that I would

not be left out of this outpouring promised in the Bible my heart's cry is Lord pour out your spirit upon me so I encourage you to make sure your heart is not hardened to the call of Jesus Christ make sure your schedule is not so busy that you will miss your Divine appointment with God in your prayer closet blind Bemus refused to let Jesus pass him by in Mark 10:47 the Bible says and when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth he began to cry out loud and say Jesus son of David have mercy

on me we too must have that same attitude we need to be crying out to the Lord Don't Pass Me By without pouring out your spirit over my life over my home over my family do not pass me by oh gentle savior we should be yearning for Jesus Christ of Nazareth to have mercy on us if there is one thing that you should know and expect it's that the reality of Life can sometimes be Earth shattering and harsh and perhaps you may not be able to turn your situation around immediately but I pray that my

words today will plant seeds of faith in your spirit don't be discouraged by what you see don't be discouraged by what you hear your life is in God's hands and that's something you should actually tell yourself every once in a while my life is in God's hands your health may not be where you want it to be but I encourage you to do all that you can and then ask God to meet you halfway your dream may seem like it's no longer possible but I encourage you to continue pursuing God whether or not you become

a doctor whether or not you become an attorney or a pilot don't remove God from his throne in your life all because you're disappointed God Is Bigger Than That which comes against you and if the fight intensifies and your own thoughts become negative and they start telling you that this situation is permanent that this result is permanent don't be discouraged even though it looks hopeless the word of God says joy comes in the morning it says to everything there is a season so this too shall pass don't be moved by what you see with your

natural eye but rely on the word of God that you know the word says that God is good he's a stronghold in the day of trouble focus on that instead of what's disappointing you the word says you are my Hiding Place and my shield it says I will look to the Lord I will wait for the god of my salvation and my God will hear he me your life is in God's hands your future is in God's hands if life hits you hard and you fall wouldn't it be better to fall into the Loving Arms

of Jesus Christ than anywhere else so don't be defined by a diagnosis don't be defined by the numbers in your bank account I've had to talk to myself and remind myself that I have a Creator who has a plan and God's plan will still Prevail God's will will still be done he has ordered my steps and so I am not alone my beginning and my end is known by him my highs and my lows are known by him and I walk by by faith and not by sight believing that the Lord has numbered my good

days to exceed my bad days so get to the point where you are content and at peace to say Lord my life is in your hands you have said be anxious for nothing you've said that you know the number of hairs on my head and so I Surrender and yield to your will so remember acts 2:1 17 and make sure that you are a part of this outpouring from the Lord and in the last days it shall be God declares that I will pour out my spirit on All Flesh and your sons and your daughters

shall prophesy and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams and so now let us pray King Jesus the Alpha and Omega you have saved me in every way possible you have made me complete in your love and in your mercy you have indeed made me whole there is no one comparable to you oh God and for this reason I bow and submit to you I bow down and confess that you are Lord and I need you in my life pass me not my savior I Need Just One Touch from

you for my entire situation to turn around just a touch of the hym of your garment and my entire family can be restored my health can be restored my faith can be restored because you are a wonderwork God I am grateful for your protection throughout the day I thank you in advance for keeping me safe and protecting me through the night I thank you in advance King Jesus for defending me from the evil in the night father I ask that you forgive me for every wrong that I have done both knowingly and unknowingly have mercy

on me me and my family I thank you for being a God who has been faithful throughout the ages I ask that you put my mind at ease with everything that I am facing open my eyes and help me to see your hand in every situation that I face study my emotions father where I am anxious give me peace Lord where I am troubled I give you my burdens and father when I am worried I cast my burdens on you you are the rock of all ages my strong tower and Fortress when I am tired

and weary I will wait on you to renew my strength your word is a lamp into my feet that guides me so that I may not stumble and fall I pray that your strength renews us may your presence be felt continuously in our hearts I will forever be confident that you are a faithful God and you will be my light in the toughest of times father it is your pure and holy light that eradicates the darkness and destroys the traps set by my enemy May the joy of the Lord shine through me the joy spoken

of in Philippians 4 verse4 rejoice in the lord always again I will say rejoice and so I will rejoice I will rejoice in all of your goodness and all of your faithfulness I will rejoice in you Lord because your word says in Philippians 4: 6-7 be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and Minds through Christ Jesus I pray that your peace will guard my heart and my mind Lord even

though I don't know every step of your plan I do know and trust that whatever your plans may be it will be for my good I thank you for the promise in your word that when I call on you you will listen thank you for your promise that when I seek you with all of my heart I will find you I pray that you will keep me safe from danger and harm from the enemy help me Jesus and give me the grace to be able to have Fearless Faith a faith that is constant so that

regardless of what the situation is I can remain rooted and firm in my belief in you should the test be a storm Lord give me the faith to believe that you can calm the seas in my life should my test be a mountain give me the faith to believe that you my king can level that mountain should my test even be a Goliath Lord give me the faith to believe that your power will defeat every Giant your word says in Deuteronomy 10:12 and now Israel what does the Lord your God require of you but to

fear the lord your God to walk in all his ways to love him to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul father help me so that I may not have any fear in this world but rather may I only fear you my God I pray that I may walk in your ways help me to not walk in the counsel of the wicked nor to stand in the way of Sinners nor to sit in the seat of the scornful strengthen my faith Lord renew my faith re-energize my faith in

this moment I pray for strong faith so that I may stand up for Jesus Christ and testify how he turned my mourning into dancing give me strong faith Lord so that I may stand on your word in a world that is lost in a world that aims to discourage and drain hope be with me Holy Spirit as I seek to stand up in faith and lift the Royal Banner of the sooncoming king Lord Jesus may your will be done you are Mighty and sovereign you control all things and so I reach out my hand to

Paul and Silas set us free from whatever it is in our lives that's restricting us Psalm 145: 18 says the Lord is near to all who call on him to all who call on him in truth give us a breakthrough Lord we call on the name of Jesus Christ to move mountains at your name storms become calm Lord Jesus creation sings with joy at the sound of your name demons flee at the name of Jesus walls and barriers come down at your name not only will every knee bow and every tongue confess that you are

Lord but every problem every stronghold every force of Darkness will be defeated at the name of Jesus Christ there is no power greater than you nothing and no one can stand against you help me to fully trust in your power to bring breakthroughs and situations where I cannot find a solution you have promised that those who seek you Lord will lack no good thing let me lack nothing as I Look to You for every need and desire in my life I declare a complete breakthrough and I declare that I am victorious through Christ Jesus I

come against every form of worry in my life even though things may seem impossible at times I trust and believe that with you Lord nothing shall be impossible I pray that the holy spirit will guide and direct me always may he help me to make wise decisions and lead me along a path of righteousness Lord make a way for us where there seems there is no way you alone give us hope in situations where there seems to be no hope you alone provide endless possibilities and situations that look impossible we lift up our faith and

that still Small Voice that reminds us to constantly cling to Jesus Christ help us to keep our eyes on the Lord help us to keep our eyes on things above and not on things of the Earth convict us holy spirit to continually keep our eyes on the Lord father give us an attitude whereby if all is well our eyes would still be on Jesus the Bible in Hebrews 12:2 says fixing our eyes on Jesus the pioneer and perfector of faith for the joy set before him he endured the cross scorning its shame and sat down

at the right hand of the Throne of God when we Face the obstacles of Life help us to keep our eyes fixed on Christ teach us holy spirit to continuously examine ourselves and evaluate what our Focus is and where our eyes are fixed Lord Jesus I thank you for your goodness I look to you because you took my sins when you hung on the cross you redeemed me Lord you have saved and delivered me if it were not for your wonderful sacrifice then where would I be if you never shed your precious blood then who

could have saved me there is none like you King Jesus that's why my eyes will remain fixed on you you extended your loving arms to me and called me to repentance because of this I rejoice and I say all praise and honor be to the most high because I am saved Sanctified and Redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ the Lamb of God there is no better time to praise you Lord than right now and so I Rejoice today I sing your praises today because if it wasn't for Jehovah Gyra who would provide for

me if it wasn't for elshadai God Almighty who would save me if it wasn't for the lion of the tribe of Judah who would be my protector I Praise You Lord You Are Holy and worthy of my adoration thank you for listening to my prayer in Jesus name I pray amen for a moment I want to encourage you to meditate on Psalm 27 today in its entirety Psalm 27 encapsulates David's deep trust in God's protection guidance and presence and I believe that this is a passage that invites us to place our confidence in God even

in the face of challenges and to seek him with all our heart just as David found comfort and courage in his relationship with God we too can draw strength from our faith in the midst of life's trial and so Psalm 27 verse 1 the Lord is my light and my salvation Whom Shall I Fear the Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid David Begins by proclaiming his unwavering trust in God he uses powerful metaphor light and salvation to convey that God illuminates his path and rescues him from danger David's

confidence in God's protection leads him to ask a rhetorical question if God is on his side there is no one to fear this verse sets the tone for an entire Psalm emphasizing the strength of his faith in God's guidance and Refuge verse two when the wicked Advance against me to devour me it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall here David acknowledges the existence of enemies and challenges that may come up against him however he firmly believes that God will cause his enemies to stumble and fail in their attempt to harm

him this verse reflects David's assurance that God's power is greater than any threat he faces verse three though an army besiege me my heart will not fear though War break out against me even then I will be confident David's confidence in God's protection continues to shine through he uses strong imagery of an army besieged in him and War breaking out emphasizing the sity of the challenges he may encounter yet he remains unshaken in his faith declaring that his heart will not fear and he will maintain his confidence in God's Deliverance verse four one thing I

ask from the Lord this only do I seek that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to Gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his Temple David expresses his deepest desire to be in the presence of God he longs to dwell in God's house not just for a moment but for all the days of his life this reflects David's thirst for intimacy with God and His eagerness to experience the beauty and Wonder of God's presence verse 5 for in the day of trouble

he will keep me safe in his dwelling he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock David reaffirms his trust in God's protection and refuge he believes that in times of trouble God will provide safety and shelter the image of being set high upon a rock symbolizes being placed above danger and adversity verse 6 then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of Joy I will sing and make music to the Lord David envisions

a future where he will triumph over his enemies he anticipates offering sacrifices and praises to God with shouts of Joy celebrating God's faithfulness and deliverance verse 7 hear my voice when I call Lord be merciful to me and answer me in this verse David shifts to a heartfelt plea he calls upon God to hear his prayers and to resp bond with mercy and Grace David recognizes his dependence on God's compassion and desires an intimate connection with him verse 8 my heart says of you seek his face your face Lord I will seek David's heart prompts

him to seek God's face he responds to the call of his heart expressing his determination to seek God God's presence with Zeal and devotion verse n do not hide your face from me do not turn your servant away in Anger you have been my helper do not reject me or forsake me God my savior David acknowledges his Reliance on God's help and pleads for God's continued presence he asked God not to turn away from him recall ing the history of God's guidance and salvation in his life verse 10 though my father and mother forsake me

the Lord will receive me David acknowledges that even if his Earthly relationships falter he is confident that God will never abandon him this verse reflects David's deep conviction in God's unwavering love and acceptance verse 11 teach me your way Lord lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors David desires to know God's ways and seeks his guidance he asks for direction and wisdom to navigate his challenges knowing that God's guidance will lead him on the right path verse 12 do not turn me over to the desires of my foes for false witnesses rise

up against me spouting malicious accusations David recognizes the threats posed by his enemies and false Witnesses who spread lies against him he pleads with God to protect him from their schemes verse 13 I remain confident of this I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living despite the challenges David holds on to his confidence in God's goodness he anticipates witnessing God's blessing and Provisions in his current life not just in the distant future verse 14 wait for the Lord be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord David concludes

the song with a message of encouragement he encourages himself and others to wait patiently for the Lord's guidance strength and deliverance in times of uncertainty he advises taking heart and finding strength in the Lord's promises God's strong hand is over your life on Saturday 25th of April 2015 four friends were in Nepal for a trip in the langang Kang Jin Goa Valley now this is a place a valley that many would describe as one of the most beautiful places on Earth but on this Saturday morning around 11:55 a.m. a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the nation

of Nepal now the village that this group of friends were staying at was completely destroyed it was reduced to Rubble but fortunately this group of friends survived and so here in this little village that had just been violently Shak Aken by an earthquake the group of friends banded together with some survivors and decided to trick all the way along the valley to the next Village which would be their exit to the mainland what they didn't know was that the next village where they thought they could get help that Village had also been completely destroyed and

so as this group is walking they're talking among themselves they're happy they've made it through alive they're celebrating the fact that they survived a life-threatening situation when suddenly there was a strong Aftershock and this Aftershock happened just when they thought the worst was over just as they are leaving one disaster here comes another now they did survive this Aftershock but can I ask you have you ever found yourself facing one thing after another have you ever found yourself facing one battle after another and I mean you've come out of one situation you've barely Sur survived

and here comes yet another test another challenge that leaves you asking God why me so as Believers what do we do when we find ourselves in between battles well before David faced his biggest test in the form of Goliath here's what the Bible says in 1st Samuel 17: 34-37 but David persisted I have been taking care of my father's sheep and goats he said when a lion or a bear comes to steal a lamb from the flock I go after it with a club and rescue the lamb from its mouth if the animal turns on

me I catch it by the jaw and Club it to death I have done this to both lions and bears and I'll do it to this Pagan Philistine too for he has defied the armies of the Living God the Lord who rescued me from the claws of The Lion and the bear will rescue me from this philistine Saul finally consented all right go ahead he said and may the Lord be with you David looked back at all of the victories that God had given him he remembered all that the Lord had done for him and

I believe this is what we should do when we find ourselves in similar situations remember the goodness of God remember the faithfulness of God remember all all of the battles that he has brought you through all of the attacks from the enemy that he shielded you from when you do this when you remember that the word of God says Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever then you will be able to overcome whatever it is that stands in front of you in the book of Acts chapter 23 Paul finds himself in a difficult

situation he had been arrested now stands in court in front of the Sanhedrin and he is the cause of a massive uproar between the Pharisees and the Sadducees here's what the Bible says in Acts 23: 7 to1 and when he had said this A dissension arose between the Pharisees and the Sadducees and the assembly was divided for Sadducees say that there is no resurrection and no angel or Spirit but the Pharisees confess both then there arose a loud outcry and the scribes of the Pharisees party arose and protested saying we find no evil in this

man but if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him let us not fight against God now when there arose a great dissension the commander fearing lest Paul might be pulled to Pieces by them commanded the soldiers to go down and take him by force from among them and bring him into the barracks but the following night the Lord stood by him and said be of good cheer Paul for as you have testified for me in Jerusalem so you must also bear witness at Rome so here Paul stands he stands accused he stands in

the middle of enemies he is facing a very real threat on his life but verse 11 says the following night the Lord stood by him the Lord stood by him what more do you need in this life other than for God to stand by you why should you worry why should you fear or be anxious when you know that God stands beside you isn't it remarkable that just when Paul might have been forgiven for thinking am I doing the right thing when the whole world seems to be against me just when Paul was in the

firing line there was God standing beside him God was honoring his word which says in Deuteronomy 31:8 he will never leave you nor forsake you do not be afraid do not be discouraged everything the Lord has for us is contained in these simple words he will never leave you or forsake you so if you're feeling like the weight of the entire world is on your shoulders God is right there beside you if you're feeling low anxious or worried take heart God stands beside you the key thing for us is to believe it's to have faith

in the Lord and He will take care of everything else now let us pray Lord Jesus you are my great defender you are my mighty protector Revelation 12:1 says and they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony and they did not love their lives to the death I am blessed because I'm covered by your blood Lord the Precious Blood of the Lamb of God your word tells me that I can overcome the Devil by the blood of the lamb and the word of my testimony and so I

plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my life I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my family the word of my testimony is that Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and the Lord of lords the word of my testimony is that Jesus Christ is Victorious Jesus Christ is triumphant and greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world Lord Jesus you have never lost a battle there is no one who can challenge you and so I firmly place my confidence in you you are the reason why I am

more than a conqueror you are the reason why my heart is filled with boldness and with courage Psalm 138: 7-8 says though I walk in the midst of trouble you will revive me you will stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies and your right hand will save me the Lord will perfect that which concerns me your mercy oh Lord endures forever ever do not forsake the work of your hands I am encouraged by Your Word which tells me that you my Lord will perfect that which concerns me you will straighten out everything

crooked in my path you will remove all obstacles and you will certainly prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies be be praised Lord you are an awesome God I pray that you would stand with me always the Bible says in Isaiah 59: 19 so shall they fear the name of the Lord from the West and his glory from the rising of the sun when the enemy comes in like a flood the spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him I Praise You Lord Jesus because when the enemy comes

at me and my family you are faithful to block all of his attacks the enemy cannot overwhelm me because I am holding on to the promises in God's word promises that tell me I have authority in Jesus name promises that tell me that a thousand may fall at my side 10,000 at my right hand but it will not come near me Lord Jesus I'm at peace I declare that there is no fear within me because you've not given me a spirit of fear you have given me a spirit of power love and a sound mind

I can say that all is well with me because you are for me Lord and if God is for me who can be against me who can stand against you the lion of the tribe of Judah so great is your power and might that the Earth is your foot stol thank you for your faithfulness my great deliverer thank you for hearing my prayer in Jesus name I pray amen
