well i'll ask you to look at the same chapter and same verse that we have the last two nights amen that's romans 11 chapter the 29th verse romans chapter 11 verse 29 for the gifts and the calling of god are without repentance that means god doesn't change his mind hallelujah he never changes we know that the bible said god never changes and so the gifts and the calling of god are without repentance i was preaching for a pastor one time several years ago and he was telling me about when he went to bible school some

years before because he had been married a long time his children were grown married and so a young man went to buy well actually he was his roommate in bible school god called both of them to preach well they got married about the time they graduated from bible school and went out into the ministry and this man was a very successful pastor but his wife left him she actually ran off with another man another person and then eventually just being a young man in his 30s he remarried but with the religious group that he was

with if you're divorced you can't have fellowship with him you don't have any credentials so they took his credentials away from him and so he thought well i can't preach anymore being a very successful young man he went into business and was very successful in fact he owned automotive you know distribution of new cars and was very successful and so several years i guess i think about 12 years had gone by and this pastor told me said god woke me up in the night time and brought this verse to me the gifts and calling of

god are without repentance and he said i want you to call him he hadn't seen him in years once in a while they had crossed paths but he said and i want you to take this verse to him so he said i called him long distance and set up an appointment and i went to see him and after they renewed their acquaintance you know for a while then he said i'll tell you why i'm here said the lord gave me a verse he woke me up in the nighttime i sat straight up in bed like

somebody poked me in the ribs and heard this voice speaking to me and so he said the gifts and calling of god are without repentance he said when i said that that men begin to weep he said you you you mean the calling is still there he said from god's standpoint yeah he said i know from my standpoint not one night not one single night not one night and all these years not one night have i ever gone to bed or woke up without sensing that call on the inside of me amen you mean i

can get back in the ministry he said you sure can glory to god hallelujah well thank god the gifts and calling of god are without repentance amen and it would be stupid to tell you the real truth about it that uh a person who was the innocent party would have to do all the suffering no thank god forevermore amen somebody said well now you know and that's what they based it on there in the third chapter of first timothy paul gives the qualifications of the pastor and now actually called him overseer elder it's all the

pastoral office bishop calls him the husband of one wife to be a leader in the church he said they should have only one wife the husband of one wife well he's only the husband of one wife the other wife left him hey amen one translation reads he must not be a ladies man [Laughter] i looked up a number of those different ones but the call the part i wanted to make was that call was still there that call was still on the inside of that man burning like a fire amen because god doesn't repent he

doesn't change his mind the gifts and calling of god are without repentance in recent days and weeks you know of course i knew and know that that verse was in there all the time but sometimes the holy ghost just sort of emphasizes things to us and for the last several weeks the lord just i i can't get off of this verse amen and the gifts and calling of god are without repentance hallelujah and you know he called different ones of us to different ministries and for a different purpose amen and so the lord said to

me in 1950 may of 1950 in an audible voice i want you to go teach my people faith i've taught you faith through my word i permitted you to go through certain experiences and you've learned faith through my word by experience now go teach my people what i taught you that call's still there sometimes he'll lead you to do something else you know for several years there the lord had me to have holy ghost meetings which we did and in those holy ghost meetings we had one here of course and he said in the daytime

teach on the subject of prayer and teach prayer both by precept and example and so we did that but in recent time the lord dealt with me to get back to the original call amen teach my people faith hallelujah praise god and then again three times three times the lord has said to me i've sent you to minister to the sick hallelujah thank god three different times through the years and well that call is still there now that whatever he calls you to do he will equip you or put it this way the gift he'll

give you the gift to enable you to fulfill that call amen now there's some people bless their darling hearts either they weren't called or else they'd been unfaithful amen and then of course you couldn't fulfill the call amen praise god minister to the sick well how are you going to minister to the sick number one you're always going to give them the word of god the word always comes first thank god for gifts of the spirit gifts of healings thank god for special faith thank god for the manifestation of the holy ghost but those things

don't always work for everybody but the word of god will always work god's word will work for everybody god's word belongs to everybody well now what does the word say what does the word say amen that's the foremost importance well turn in your bible you know the bible said the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established doesn't it amen all right let's look at three different references look at the 53rd chapter of isaiah the 53rd chapter of isaiah verses 4 and 5. surely he hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows

now if you have a good reference bible you'll find that many of them will tell you in the margin of the foot of the page that the hebrew words instead of griefs and sorrows the hebrew words is surely he has borne our sickness and carried our pain yet we did esteem him stricken smitten of god and afflicted now notice you know we know that the roman soldiers crucified and we know that they whipped him but this isn't something that the roman soldiers did to him that's just an outward something to let us know what happened

really in the spirit realm it said we did esteem him stricken smitten of god you see the cause of our sickness and diseases were laid on him and he bore them amen just like our sins were laid on he didn't sin he's not a sinner but our sins were laid on him and he bore them our sickness were laid on him we did esteem him stricken smitten of god and afflicted but he was wounded for our transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace is upon him and with his stripes we

are healed hallelujah now come into the new testament matthew the eighth chapter the 17th verse that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by isaiah the prophet saying himself took our infirmities and bear our sicknesses matthew inspired by the holy ghost wrote his his gospel according to saint matthew and he said that isaiah said himself himself that is jesus took our infirmities and bear our sicknesses well if he bore them there's no need that both of us bear them he bore them that we might be free then in first peter chapter 2 verse 24 peter

looking back to the cross said who his own self bear our sins in his own body on the tree that we being dead to sins should live unto righteousness one translation of this uh word translated righteousness means right with god hallelujah you know sometimes people think you know righteousness is some great state of spiritual development that you eventually grow into if you live long enough no thank god the bible teaches us him who knew no sin was made to be sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of god in him we are

the righteousness of god in him you never you can't grow in righteous you can't ever be any more righteous than you are right now in other words you can't be any more right with god than what you are right now hallelujah amen now notice by whose stripes ye were healed hallelujah now the reason you see that he says were past tense is because he's looking back to calvary and the crucifixion death burial and resurrection of the lord jesus and so he said by whose stripes ye were healed well if we were healed praise god then

i am healed hallelujah hallelujah now a lot of times folks are struggling bless their hearts putting forth great effort trying to get healed well jesus already got it for you all you have to do is to accept what he has done amen i was conducting a meeting in south texas a good many years ago and uh i was traveling alone right at that time so i i stayed in the postage with the pastor and his family or just his pastor's wife only two of them i got off to sleep and i was awakened at 1

30 i know it's 1 30 because there's a clock you know with a you can see in the dark you know and so uh it's 1 30 and i had all these alarm and see i had been healed 20 some odd years before of this heart condition but i had all those symptoms i remembered them man if you ever had them you couldn't forget them and so the devil said well now you know it's the devil well because it come from out here he's the god of this world he's out here and come against my

mind said well you know that conditions come back on you know he's looking to medical science they couldn't heal you then they told you nothing could be done you're going to die well that's bad news the devil brings bad news god brings good news hallelujah i said hallelujah the gospel is good news not bad news and so when the devil said that to me i didn't want to wake up anybody in the night time so i covered up my head and laughed out loud i didn't feel like laughing now there is a laughter in the

spirit anointed by the holy ghost to laugh i like that but no i just did it in the flesh i just put it on ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha just like that ha ha ha ha ha ha and i kept on that way the devil said what are you laughing about i said i'm laughing at you did you know the devil don't like to be laughed at any more than you do what are you laughing at me about you said i'm not going to get healed that's right this is one time

you're not going to get healed i said ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha just kept on i don't know i didn't time it but i think it must have laughed for 10 minutes again the devil said what are you laughing about i said i already told you once i'm laughing at you what are you laughing at me about you said i'm not going to get healed that's right this is one time you're not going to get healed i said until

the third time he said what are you laughing about i said i'm laughing at you what are you laughing at me about you said am i going to that's right this is one time you're not going to get healed i turned the light on my bible's on the nightstand and got my bible and open it to first peter 2 24 and i said mr devil i don't i don't know whether you can read or not but in case you can't i won't read this to you who his own self by our sins in his own

body on the tree we being dead to sin shall live unto righteousness by whose stripes ye were that's past tense isn't it ye were healed i said you said i'm not going to get healed that's right you're not going to get here i said i'm not trying to get healed i don't expect to get healed jesus already got it all i have to do is to accept it now just gather up your symptoms and get out of here man you never saw anybody scurry around so fast and gather up all the symptoms and take off

hallelujah hallelujah now that's that's the best way to minister healing to people minister the word get them to act on the word but then thank god for the holy ghost and what's strange is uh here here are three identical cases and yet you don't or didn't deal with each one of them the same way no we're to be led by the spirit the word of god tells us for as many as are led by the spirit of god they are the sons of god hallelujah amen now here are three different cases i'm going to tell

you of insane people i mean all three of them but doctors said the same thing about all three of them were in the institution we used to call them insane asylum they call them state institutions that sounds nicer state institution all three of them the doctors said they'll always need institutional care always well my first experience along this line was the first saturday of may of 1943. we were pastor of a little full gospel church in the black land of north central texas well we got up my wife and i got breakfast and actually i

cleaned up the kitchen she made up the bed and then we're ready to go if i expect her to help me i help her some of you preachers need to get your eyes open listen amen but see i expected her to be ready to go with me if i need to do some visitation or whatever but see if she's got all the house to clean up everything to do when when's she going to be ready to go with me so i cleaned up the kitchen washed the dishes cooked the breakfast washed the dishes cleaned up

she made up the bed and we're ready to go well all the time that i'm cleaning well making breakfast and then cleaning up the kitchen i'm praying in other tongues i just had an urge to pray holy ghost it won't make you do anything he'll give you a gentle push an urge and uh i got through well on saturday we didn't have any visitation but we're just used to doing that every day so we do our whatever we used to so i i had a car but i walked to the post office we got our

mail in the box at the post office small town maybe 2 000 population and so i uh i walked down through the city park just a little little out of the way but the first saturday may spring time you don't get a little fresh air and i prayed in tongues not out loud of course all the way to the post office i prayed in tongues all the way back i thought god's getting me ready for the sunday service you know i said to myself boy we're going to have a stem winder tomorrow you know what

i meant by that expression great move of the spirit from 8 o'clock in the morning till 2 30 in there until 2 o'clock or 2 30 in the afternoon i'd say i spent 90 of the time praying in other tongues now i went right on did things i needed to do i checked the church out we owned we have volunteer labor we don't have a hard caretaker or janitor well when people just volunteer you know if you got them hard you sort of put a little pressure on them but sometimes some volunteers so i checked

out to be sure you know that the song books were in place and most of the time they weren't and to be sure the pews pews are dusted most of the time they weren't and be sure the altar we had an ultra bench was dusted most of the time it wasn't and be sure the pulpit was dusted most of the time it wasn't and so i did all that but all the time i'm doing that i'm praying in other tongues then i got everything in order in good order and so i just knelt in the

altar and prayed for a while in other tongues and i went on did some other errands that needed to be done but i'm praying in tongues if i'm by myself i pray out loud if i'm around people i pray quietly they'll think you're not you would be amen i said amen and so i spent i would say ninety percent of the time from eight in the morning till about two in the afternoon praying in other tongues i thought the lords are getting me ready for the service on sunday the next day you see i like

it like this now you know the bible said in first corinthians the 14th chapter he that speaketh an unknown tongue edifieth himself edify himself edify means he builds up himself now that's not a physical building up or a mental building up that's a spiritual building up actually greek scholars tell us that we have a word in our vernacular that's closer to the meaning of this greek word than the word edify is and that's the word that we use charge like charging a battery battery runs down and we charge it up and a literal translation would

be he'd speak an unknown tongue edifies himself charges himself like a battery well in those days we didn't have you know my day for instance we didn't have electric toys toys battery operated we had spring you know you wind them up remember that now it felt to me like there's a big spring in here the more i talked in tongues i'm just winding it up amen and like i said i thought god's getting me ready for tomorrow for sunday services and i said to myself we're going to have a stem winder tomorrow but i was

wrong about 2 30 that afternoon a lady one of my members said because her husband was uh company moved him to another town it wasn't very far away only about 15 miles away well of course they had to move but she came back over to our church only 15 miles every sunday and most of the time on wednesday night and so she came with a lady because she had told this lady about how god moved in our church because we constantly had outstanding things happen miraculous spectacular supernatural and so this lady brought her sister her

that her sister had lost her mind two and a half years before this time and uh had become violently insane tried to kill herself tried to kill others and so she had been in solitary confinement for two and a half years no sunshine no exercise because she's dangerous to herself and to others but the authorities now the work the war was on world war number two and people were short of help she came out of the state institution in wichita falls texas and so the authorities of that institution contacted the the family of this lady

and they said she has she's no longer violent and we don't believe she ever will be violently insane anymore but she'll always need institutional care but we don't have the the uh people to do it she's been in solitary confinement for two and a half years no sunshine no exercise and her general overall health has depleted and unless there's a change she's not going to live much longer but if some of you could come and get her and take her you know keep her in your home and if you have a city park see this

is springtime now go spend the entire day out in the city park with her getting sunshine and fresh air you see but now stay right with her because she may just run right out in front like a little kid you know run out in front of our mobile and be killed and her mind will never be right well this sister went and got her brought her to her home and sister brown told her about god moving in our church and so they brought her they brought her i remember standing on the front porch of our

parsonage she said to this lady said to her that was her sister that's insane this is the preacher i told you about so when she said that that woman started quoting scriptures that insane moment they run out of her mouth like water out of a water faucet and poor me you know hope my mom put my foot in it i said my my my anybody quote scripture like that must really know god and she reached up and started pulling her hair out said no no no no no no no i can't be saved i've committed

the unpardonable sin i'm committed to unpardonable sin i asked her sister and sister said the superintendent of the institution said 85 percent of the people in here think they've committed unpardonable sin that gives the idea to know that the devil has something to do with it amen no i've committed unpardonable sin begin to scream scream and pull her hair and her sister that had brought her i mean she slapped her i mean she slapped her almost into the middle of the next week you know what i mean by that she said the doctor told her

you'll have to do that to get her out of it to bring her out of it so when she did that she shut up never said anything we moved her into the living room set her down in a chair and i watched her she sat there and never blinked an eye she sat there for 40 minutes and never blinked and i just stared straight in front of her like she saw her in another world well i said to uh sister brown and sister yeager the lady that had brought her sister i said my wife and

i will go and get sister sylvia sister sylvia was a little red-headed woman could pray heaven and earth together and so we went my wife went in to tell her and she said well i have to change clothes so i sat in the car and i took my testament and read it and i said now lord i know this people can be sick in their head just like people get sick at their stomach and people get sick at the stomach and do some strange things and people get sick in their head and do some strange

things and i know that if that's the case you're just sick in the head you could anoint them with oil those days are noted with oil all the type of the anointing amen and lay hands on them and receive healing but then i know right on the other hand that sometimes the devil's behind the situation i mean present and and and they have to be dealt with so i'm i'm depending on you well sister silvia got ready we went back to the parsonage and that lady is still sitting there in this straight chair in the

middle of the living room floor never even blinked an eye she's just like she was and we live and so we went to prayer the ladies over in the west side of the room my wife sister brown sister sylvia and the sister to this lady they all knelt now i i didn't have a study out in my church i just had a one-room church so i got a desk over in the corner and a bookcase there i knelt over there by my desk my back you know these ladies over there their backs all all to

me my backs to them this lady is sitting in the middle and so we all got to praying and we got in the spirit now what do you mean in the spirit well paul said he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men but unto god for no man understandeth him how be it in the spirit everybody say in the spirit he speaketh mysteries or one translation says divine secrets well i got into tongues and the 14th verse of that chapter said for if i pray an unknown tongue my spirit prayeth the amplified

translation said my spirit by the holy spirit within me prayed all of us are in the spirit all of us are praying in other tongues and i heard these words go stand in front of her and say come out the unclean spirit in the name of jesus now don't laugh at me i said lord i don't much believe i won't do that now first of all i'll let you in order to see first of all i was afraid of those kind of cases now you say why you see my father left my mother when i

was six years old and uh there were four of my children my oldest brother two years older than i my sister four years older than i then my youngest brother about five and a half years he he was just a baby about five and a half years younger than me so my daddy left well mama tried to make a living for us for children she had a complete nervous mental and physical breakdown and so we had to move in then with my grandparents on my mother's side of the family and my mother you see would

go into these spells she'd get under great depression and then she'd lose her mind she'd try to kill herself now to make a great impression on little fella you see we didn't start the school in the first grade until we're seven years old and so at six years of age you know i'm talking about now 19 and 23. my grandmother's out you know behind the house washing the old-fashioned rub board hanging clothes up on the line she had positioned me as six-year-old at the kitchen door now if your mother gets in there cause she'd try

to get a knife to cut her throat if you get gets in there you call me well i had to call run caller granny granny granny grant she had to come time she got there she had the knife take it away from her now if you don't think that'll make an impression on a six-year-old amen you got another thought coming and so because of all that yeah i was afraid of these situations and so i said lord i don't much believe i won't do that what what if i did that nothing happened i'd be embarrassed

you know well you see i got out of the spirit got back over in the natural i'm thinking and the anointing lifts but i began to pray again and the anointing came upon me and the word was go stand in front of her and say come out find unclean spirit the name of jesus i said lord i i just don't mind see i've never done anything like that i've never had one to thank god never had one of these cases to deal with beforehand i mean this is my first and i said lord you know

i know one what one preacher told me about they had a lady in their church that was off mentally and two or three of these preachers was going to cast the devil out of her they had a special meeting they had a few people praying this young minister he said i got inside the altar you know where i could pray and look through my fingers because i wanted to watch them so we all got in the spirit and just about the time that they was going to rise up and cast the devil however that crazy

woman jumped up holler boo and they all ran and i said lord what if i went over there and stood in front of her and said come out that unclean spirit the name of jesus and she jumped up my hearted boo i said we don't have any door in this side of the room and we don't need to make one [Music] amen well of course you get back thinking in the natural and the anointing lifts from you see so i got back to praying again and got back in the spirit and again i heard the

words go stand in front of her and say come out thou an unclean spirit the name of jesus and so i might as looked around the ladies still praying that moment's still sitting there like a statue and so i thought maybe i could get away from that i got up in that corner and went over to the next corner of the room close to the door there was a chair there and i knelt there and i got in the spirit praying in tongues and the spirit said go stand in front of her and say come

out by an unclean spirit the name of jesus and i said lord i don't much believe i want to do that so i got up off of my knees and sat down in the chair and i got to thinking now if suddenly those ladies see they're all in front of me over if you don't need their backs to him but they're kneeling over against that wall and this lady is back to him she's still sitting there like a statue and if suddenly these all the ladies you know don't hear my voice they'll think maybe i'm

not with them or whatever so i want to make them think that i'm with them and so we just had a hardwood floor didn't have a carpet on the you know hardwood floor and so i stomped my feet clapped my hands hollered praise god lord made all the noise i could i found out that's why people make noise a lot of time they want folks to make people think they're with you amen yeah i did i'll be honest with you you can ask my wife she was there and so i uh i just kept stomping

my feet on that wooden floor you know and clapping my hands saying praise god but it's in the flesh amen praise god so make them believe you're still with them you see so i'm sitting there i'm over here in the northeast corner of the room now the the sister of this lady sister yeager that had brought the insane woman was over in that southwest corner see right right kind of cornered across the room i'm sitting there with my eyes open stomping my feet clapping my hands hollering praise god glory to god amen and suddenly sister

yeager stood up now you see she's i just met her we hadn't known her a month of just a few days and suddenly she stood up and turned faced me never did open my eyes how she knew where i was i don't know because that many people pray in the little room and old voice bounce over and so she spoke to me in tongues thank god for tongues but i understood it as though she spoke in english ever word of she said now you're a pretty looking thing you cry and pray oh lord use me

lord use me and i tell you what to do and you sat there like a stoop boy i'll tell you the further she went to tougher it got finally i jumped up and i said lord i'll do it i'll do it i'll do it just let the let that anointing come on me again that anointing came on me and i run and stood in front of her and said come out the unclean spirit the name of jesus and i did and he did and she did hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah praise god forevermore 19 years later we

were preaching a convention for foursquare folks in amarillo texas we knew that the sister sister yeager lived there we looked in the phone book got her name address phoned her yeses her we went out to eat with her one day we asked her about your sister oh yeah she said 19 years she's still delivered she's the head of the accounting department one of the leading department stores in america teaches a sunday school class every sunday hallelujah hallelujah thank god but now while we're at it while we're at it let me give you a little little

preview of this of the gift of faith you see it takes a manifestation of special faith to cast out devils you can see people standing there in the flesh holland come out do you notice they never come out all of these worketh that one himself same spirit the bible said these nine manifest anything the holy ghost does comes under one of those definitions now now it's very easy to define not notice something you see at the moment that i said she was delivered and she was but at the moment nothing happened she looked just as

nutty as she did to begin with her sister bundled up and took her this is saturday afternoon took her home monday afternoon see monday sunday or saturday sunday monday two days later monday afternoon sister brown come rushing over to our apostle brother hagin brother hagin pray pray pray what said she's having an attack like she did when she first lost her mind now to my utter amazement i found myself that i couldn't i couldn't even doubt i tried to but i couldn't and i had said what of it didn't you ever read when jesus sometimes

rebuked the devil before he left sometimes he'd throw people down he'd manifest himself remember that i said i spoke the word to faith sarah daphne the devil has to go when she comes out of this you'll be all right sure enough when she came out of she's perfect glory to god i said glory to god glory to god hallelujah when i told sister yeager later on what she said she is ambassador i wouldn't talk to you that i said you didn't the lord did thank god amen now sometimes only twice in all of these years

i've been in the healing ministry for 68 years but twice only twice in all that time the lord spoke to me in tongues through somebody else and i understood it in english a pastor and his wife and my wife and i went from 1949 the week of july the 4th 1949. we drove from north central texas to west texas over 300 miles to pray with and to pray for a pastor's wife who was bedfast with terminal cancer now we stayed in the room and prayed with her and for her for uh the biggest part of

uh we only slept four hours and ate one meal the rest of time we were in the room praying so the third night little old parts did so we laid him the pastor i went with he and i laid a mattress down on the floor of the living room and when we lay down there i said we're missing it somewhere because see god never misses it does he jesus never misses it i i said uh it's four o'clock in the morning when we lay down to rest and i said since 1934 so i was 15

years i've never prayed this long for anything without getting an answer may not be the answer i won't but i've got the answer amen i said we're missing i believe where we're missing is we're working on the sending in instead of the receiving end now a little town we in a town about 15 16 000 population 1949 they had one radio station there i said if your radio station wouldn't get this local the radio in your car wouldn't pick up this local station you wouldn't phone up there and say you better have your station fixed

my radio won't get it no you'd have the receiving set worked on because that's where the problem is well the pastor said that sound i said see we've been working on the sending in god healer lord healer god you know do this do that lord we're working on the sending in nothing wrong on the sending in the problems on the receiving end and so this let's work on that when we get in there in the morning so at eight o'clock that was four o'clock in the morning but at eight o'clock that same morning we were

in there again for the third day to pray and the pastor said brother hagin tell tell her tell everybody what you told me well the ladies hadn't heard it and that pastor and so i told him well when i said that the lady on the bed began to cry now she's bed fast she she's in the last stages of terminal cancer doctors can't figure out how she lived this long she can't even get up and go to the bathroom she's tied to the bed she began to weep and said it's me it's me you know

i missed it here and i said oh no no that's not what i'm talking about when i said work on the receiving end sure you missed it who is it that never has missed it is anybody here that never has missed it good thing you didn't lift your hand we'd have to start praying for liars amen i said sure you missed it you're human but you asked the lord to forgive you didn't he yeah well he said if he we confess our sins he's faithful and just so he's forgiven that's not what i'm talking about

i'm talking about all of us focus concentrate focus on the receiving end and so we all began to pray and we all got in the spirit and we're all praying other tongues i'm kneeling on one side of the bed up at the head of the bed my wife's on the other side the pastor came with us by me his wife is by my wife the lady on the bed husband was there but then he got a telephone call and had to leave and so we're praying concentrating focusing and i heard these words go stand at

the foot of the bed now you understand i didn't know as much in 1949 as i know now and you understand this i don't know as much now as i'm going to know glory to god and so i didn't pay any attention to it i thought maybe go away if i wouldn't pay attention to it and so i jump over into the mental realm and lose the anointing but i get back in the spirit realm praying in tongues and then i hear these words go stand at the foot of the bed and i said to

jump back over into the mental realm then said to myself what could that do well did you ever stop and think about it if you just think about what the word of god said for just a moment jesus spit on the ground and made clay of the spittle rubbed it at a man's eye said go wash it off and pull the siloam what good would that do naaman the leper came for healing you know and elijah the prophet didn't even go out to see him send his servant i said go dip in the river jordan

seven times your flesh will come again clean or heal what good would that do huh amen but you see i i wasn't thinking like that then i said you know we're here to get healing for the woman and what good would that do i mean and so i went back got back in the spirit to got back over in the spirit then by praying in tongues the third time go stand before the bed and i thought to myself well if i don't i never will know so i'll just do it show up my eyes and

look everybody else in needing everybody else got their eyes shut i went down and stood at the foot of the bed and i'm standing there with my eyes open praying in other tongues and all that many people in a little bedroom this small room what over 12 to 14 sheedrock walls i mean that many people praying voices bouncing off the wall you couldn't if with the eyes shut you couldn't locate somebody at all but my suddenly my wife stood up now she never opened her eyes but she came right there and stood right by me

praying in tongues and then the tongue changed see they're diverse kinds of tongue and she spoke to me in tongues and i understood it in english and she said go stand at the head of the bed and say come out thy spirit of fear and doubt in the name of jesus so i went up and i started with a growth in her left breast and so i went up to the head of the bed and said come out thou unclean spirit my spirit of fear in the name of jesus now i'm still nearby as wide

open but see i'm in the spirit and i saw from her breast looked like a big black bat that big i mean bigger than the saucer come right up went right by me and out the window the pastor i came with was standing by the window he said something went out there he didn't see anything but he said something went off that window well at the moment i was discerning of spirits i was seeing into the spirit realm and she rose up now remember she's been fast she can't even get them go to the mouth

she rose up immediately praising god went all through the house kneeling down rising up and praising god went out that afternoon with us in the backyard and had watermelon hallelujah glory to god well now that that's only happened to me twice in all these 60 some odd years you see you can't i can't produce these things it is as the spirit wills not as i will amen praise god and so back to the insane women now that first one you see amen now then the next year the next year see that's 43 june of 1944

12 13 months later a lady brought her mother out of the same asylum out of the wichita falls state institution her mother was 60 i believe 67 years of age had never been saved dies now she's going to hell doctors said she'd been in the institution she doesn't respond to institutional care her mind will never be right but if some of you the family the children could keep her in the home the state will pay you isn't that wonderful state pay you actually we paid with taxes we paid to keep our own mama amen the

state will pay you so this lady kept her mother in the state paid them for her keeping her mama and so in the month of june 1944 i didn't have another case all that time this is the second one so she brought her well we prayed i got sister sylvia again that little redheaded woman could pray heaven and earth together we prayed for about two hours and a half maybe three hours didn't we nothing and so finally the lady said well i've got to get home i've got to get supper for my husband he comes

in from work we're going to have to go and so she turned to her mother and said mama we're going to have to go come on get up now helped her up put her little light wrap on her and my wife and she engaged in conversation and i'm sitting there by this lady on the couch in our living room and in my heart with tears i said lord why can't i help this dear soul she dies you see the mind is the door to your spirit she's 67 years of age never been saved turned god

away i'd realize that but gonna die and go to hell and so her daughter turned and and actually she sat there on the couch i sat right by her and made funny sounds show you the condition in my she tweeted her thumbs like that and said we do we do we do we do we do we do we really we do we do it and said nothing intelligent all afternoon but when her when her daughter shook her said now come on get up mama we got to go she shoved me by their eyes shook her

head looked at me and said will i ever be any better and i felt it you know do you ever put a coin like francis in the telephone you know you feel it go down in there this struck me in the top of the head and came down i knew what it was it's a manifestation of special faith and all i did was said yes you will in the name of jesus the daughter bundled her up and took her home well we resigned that church and left the next month and so we was on the

field holding revival meetings for a couple of years and then we accepted our last church that's 1944 when the woman came 1946. we accepted the pastor of this church two years later everyone and now and then my wife would say wonder whatever happened to that woman's mother i said i'll tell you exactly what happened to her she was healed i mean i tried to doubt it and couldn't amen and so we took this church and we got a letter from this daughter and she just sent it in care of the church and so we got

it i heard that you accepted the pastor to this church and so on and if so if you when you get this letter if you're right i'd like to come and visit you i'd like to have you to pray with me about something so my wife wrote back and told her yeah come on so she wrote back told us when she'd come and so they she came we went out to meet her and i think about the first thing answers whatever happened to your mother she said you know brother hagin the only sensible thing she

said all afternoon was will ever be any better and you just pointed your finger to and said yes you will in the name of jesus i said yeah he said well i took her home she wasn't any better next day wasn't any better the next day but it's three o'clock in the afternoon of the third day you see when the command of faith is spoken it doesn't make any difference how long it is it'll carry on praise god she said at three o'clock in the afternoon suddenly her mind was all right and she got down

on her knees in the middle of the floor and i led let her in prayer she got saved 67 years old and dear old dad 69 claimed to be an infidel said he came and got on his nate said sister pray for me and he got saved and she said two years have come again i was just out the wisdom last week that both of them stayed and filled with the spirit mama does all of her housework and all of her cooking hallelujah they're in church regularly and then again 19 to 20 years later we

made contact with the daughter and we asked her we thought if her mom was still alive she'd still be about 90 years old and everybody don't live be naughty you know and so what about your mother oh she said you know in 23 days she'll be 90. yeah said we just had a family reunion just a week or two ago and said her mind is better than anyone are we three daughters and twenty years before she set that twitter under some weedy weedy water walk weedy weedy weedy weedy water staring straight in front of weedy
