and Every Spark of fire is a product of God's design from the very beginning when God created the heavens and the Earth salt was part of his creation the church often overlooks the fact that God has given Authority not just to humans but also to plants animals and natural elements each has a Divine Purpose for instance fire consumes water gives life and salt seasons and preserves just as fire and water have their roles salt too was given Authority by God to preserve and purify let's take a moment to reflect on the Divine purposes of all
the elements in the world just as salt preserves food could it not also preserve our faith during challenging times I encourage you to share your experiences with salt in the comments many find inspiration and strength from hearing how others have experience God's power through the use of salt for example one person saw a Mir ulous change in her life after anointing her hands with salt have you felt better after using salt in prayer share your story with us and how God has acted in your life through this powerful mineral throughout history salt has been recognized
for its incredible power it was used to preserve meat season food and even served as currency in ancient Rome where officials were paid in salt hence the term salary Jesus often taught in Parables and not everything he mentioned was symbolic oil Bread and Wine hold sacred significance in Christianity so why do we readily accept the use of oil but doubt the power of salt some believe that salt is evil associated with dark rituals but this is a deception from the enemy remember John 10 tells us that the thief comes only to steal kill and destroy
the enemy wants to steal the truth about salt God uses the physical world to fulfill his will and salt is no exception take oil as an example anointing oil is mentioned multiple times in Scripture it was used in the Old Testament to anoint the high priest and his descendants as well as the Tabernacle and its Furnishings marking them as holy to God the ingredients for this oil were natural with no inherent Supernatural power the power lay in the obedience to God during the ritual not in the oil itself if God commands us to anoint with
oil we do it the same principle applies to Salt when we use salt according to God's will it holds a sacred place just like oil Matthew 5 tells us you are the salt of the earth we must not let the enemy steal this truth from us the Bible references anointing with oil in several key moments for example in Luke 7 Mary anoints jesus' feet in Worship in James 5 the elders anoint the sick for healing Hebrews 1 speaks of God anointing Jesus with the oil of Joy these acts demonstrate how God uses material things to
reflect the spiritual and fulfill his will consider the example of Moses's staff God used it to manif EST his power turning it into a serpent to prove his presence the prophets often used everyday objects like water salt oil mantel and staffs in their Ministries they didn't worship these objects but used them as Tools in prophetic acts everything we discuss is rooted in the Bible nothing has been altered it is simply the word of God the enemy is a deceiver In some cultures being s saly is associated with bad luck often linked to Witchcraft but denying
these practices ignores the reality of evil in the world evil exists and there is no white magic that comes from God Every Act not Guided by the holy spirit in the Bible is witchcraft the enemy imitates and corrupts what God creates trying to use God's tools for his benefit remember how Satan tempted Jesus by offering him the kingdoms of the world which were originally given to Man by God through Disobedience man lost that Authority allowing Satan to usurp it let's reflect deeply are we aware of how the enemy tries to corrupt the sacred do we
use the tools God has given us with reverence and purpose we must always remember that the physical can reflect the spiritual and our duty is to use these tools with faith and obedience to God as Ephesians 6 reminds us our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the Heavenly Realms the Bible suggests that God and His prophets were the first to use salt after its creation the story of Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis 19 is a well-known example lot seeking worldly
pleasures chose to live in these sinful cities God punished Lot's wife for her Disobedience by turning her into a pillar of salt here salt was used as a tool of divine Justice in Leviticus 2 God commands the Israelites to season all their grain offerings with salt symbolizing purification this passage highlights another quality of salt its role in purification in sa Chronicles we read about the Covenant of salt a Perpetual Covenant established by God with David's descendants this verse reveals another aspect of salt its role in creating enduring covenants we've seen three main attributes of salt
in the spiritual realm purification Covenant and cursing these qualities reveal the depth of God's purpose in creating this mineral now let's consider why Sorcerers use salt in their rituals they understand the spiritual significance of salt knowing that it is a mineral created by God with specific authorities that transcend both the physical and spiritual Worlds the enemy has deceived many into believing that salt is an evil instrument but today you will understand that salt is not just an old tool from the Old Testament the Covenant of salt is ever lasting and if Christians have stopped using
it it's because they were deceived today is the day to reject those deceptions and embrace the truth glory to God at the beginning of this study we discussed how Lot's wife was turned into a pillar of salt a punishment for disobedience in Deuteronomy 29 we read about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah where salt and sulfur are symbols of cursing salt was used by God to destroy the land preventing anything from growing now you understand why Sorcerers you salt what was once a tool of divine Justice is now used against God's children not because salt
is evil but because we have abandoned the prophetic acts and tools that were given to us salt is our inheritance and as true children of God we should not fear it if a sorcerer attempts to use salt against your home work or business know that you possess the authority to nullify any Witchcraft and break curses in Zephaniah 2 the Lord of hosts declares as I live Moab shall be like Sodom and the children of Ammon like gomorah a place overgrown with Nettles a pit of salt and an everlasting desolation the remnant of my people shall
plunder them and my people shall possess them this passage links salt to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah as well as to Moab and Ammon who were descendants of Lot's incestuous relationship with his daughters born after the fall of those cities these two peoples born from such depravity became enemies of Israel constantly Waging War against God's people sexual sin often brings curses upon future gener generations and many people do not understand why their families face issues like failed marriages or abuse the root of these problems could lie in the immoral acts of their ancestors for
instance a family might struggle with marital problems or have a History of Violence even among Christians these challenges could be due to inherited curses from the immoral acts of previous generations to free your children from such generational curses the verse from Zephaniah offers guidance take salt that has been consecrated to God and recite this prayer my father God of Israel I thank you for finding me and giving me your word I ask you to forgive the sins of my family my grandparents and my parents forgive the sexual sins of my ancestors today I take this
consecrated to your altar and I declare the end of all evil that has burdened my family until now as I spread this salt over my body I declare that the Desolation has left this place where the sin of Sodom and gamor once dwell from this day forward I will leave all wickedness behind so that your truth py and mercy will Reign Over Me and My descendants in the mighty name of Jesus amen salt is unique in the Bible as it is used both to bless and to curse it is a weapon given by God to
his children though the enemy tries to use it against us but do not be afraid for Jesus said you are the salt of the earth however if salt loses its saltiness how can it be made salty again it becomes useless only fit to be thrown out and trampled underfoot in the scripture salt is mentioned in context of both blessing and curse Psalm 107 tells us that God turned Rivers into a desert Flowing Springs into parched ground and fruitful land into a salt waste because of the wickedness of those who lived there salt as a symbol
marks Barren land as a punishment for wickedness Christians rarely use salt to curse which is good because we should act with genuine love however a child of God must know when to use salt as a weapon of war and when to use it for peace salt serves as a tool for both War and Peace here we focus on salt as a weapon of War just as an army exists to protect a nation and is deployed at the right moment when an Invader threatens the land so too must we use salt in spiritual warfare when the
enemy attacks Christian Terr territory to curse the enemy's efforts take the salt consecrated to God and spread it in your home neighborhood and city now I invite you to pray with authority my father God of Israel today I take the Covenant salt and spread it over my entire city home neighborhood and church I dry up all the works of the enemy all Witchcraft and all idolatry I break every pact made by sorcerers and witches over this city and declare that if they do not repent of their evil Deeds they will fall under the mighty hand
of the Living God I bind the strong man in the name of Jesus and bind every Spirit of vengance that seeks to come against me and mine from today onward wickedness will never rise again in this city in the name of Jesus let it be written and let it be done salt is indeed powerful in set Kings 2 The Prophet Elisha went to the source of the waters threw salt into it and said this is what the Lord says I have healed these Waters never again will death or barrenness come from it this is one
of the most well-known biblical accounts involving salt Elisha a man who received a double portion of the spirit used the salt that God had provided to heal the waters in the name of the Lord in Ezekiel 43:24 it says when you have finished making atonement you shall offer a bull without defect and a ram without blemish the priests shall sprinkle salt on them and offer them as a burnt offering to the Lord the animals offered to God had to be purified with salt before being sacrificed this illustrates the significance of salt in the purification rituals
of the Old Testament think about money it passes through many hands before reaching the altar as an offering or tithe who knows where that money has been it could have passed through the hands of Thieves murderers Smugglers or those involved in illicit activities salt consecrated to God can purify the money you bring to the altar a key rule to remember if you want to consecrate salt to God handle it with reverence and respect if you buy salt for this purpose dedicate the entire package to God's service use this salt for nothing else it should be
used exclusively to honor God just as you would dedicate an offering solely to the altar this same principle applies to oil many churches when receiving tithes and offerings sprinkle salt on them and pray for God to Pure purify them as instructed in Leviticus 2 while not all churches practice this prophetic act there are those who understand the importance of Purity in their offerings therefore before bringing their tithe some people cleanse it at home using the salt they have consecrated for this purpose numbers 18 mentions that the heave offerings of the Holy things that the children
of Israel offer to the Lord are given to the priests and their descendants by a covenant of salt forever before the Lord this is referred to as a Perpetual Covenant of salt which remains valid today for those who honor God you might say but that was for the Israelites yet I tell you as Believers we are grafted into the same family under the same father who blesses those who seek Him salt known for its preservative qualiity is symbolizes durability loyalty and the Eternal nature of God's covenant in the East because salt prevents Decay it became
a symbol of stability and permanence especially in friendships according to ancient Customs sharing salt during a meal established a bond of friendship ensuring Mutual loyalty and Fidelity two people who shared a meal seasoned with salt committed not to betray or harm each other it was said that once someone ate the salt of another they became lifelong friends God intended for every sacrifice to remind his people of their relationship with him when covenants were made the parties often ate together including salt which signified Perpetual loyalty and Fidelity to the Covenant therefore a salt Covenant was understood
to be binding and should not be broken numbers 18 indicates that breaking or betraying ass salt Covenant was often punishable by death an American historian once found himself in a dangerous situation while traveling through the Middle East night fell and he sought shelter in a tent along the road unaware that it belonged to people who often robbed Travelers despite the risk he approached the tent owner and explained that it was too dangerous to continue his Journey at night the man from the tent replied do you not know that I am a thief how do you
know I won't kill you and take what you have the historian responded I will make a salt Covenant with you the thief invited him in saying come blessed of the Lord and sit down they shared a meal seasoned with salt and the next morning the thief protected the historian's belongings and escorted him safely to his destination the thief knew that making a salt Covenant with another man was a service to God and he honored it until his death the salt Covenant remains valid in the East to this day and it is a mutual agreement that
endures even after the death of one of the parties involved at one point a merchant and a Shepherd agreed to make a salt Covenant the shepherd promised to give the merchant 300 sheep with the understanding that the merchant would pay for the remaining 200 within 60 days they sealed this agreement by sharing a meal seasoned with salt the merchant took the 300 sheep but unfortunately he passed away 30 days later however the Merchant's son knew about the Covenant his father had made when the 60 days were up the son honored the agreement and paid the
shepherd the rest of the money owed this story illustrates an important truth a salt Covenant represents a mutual commitment between God and man based on a balanced and faithful relationship you can't claim to make a covenant with the Lord and then live however you please God honors those who honor him his promise is that he will be our father and we will be his children but we must remember to obey his Commandments in Exodus 20 we learn about the valley of salt a place where victories belong to those who fight for Their Blessings according to
the 2 Samuel David became famous after defeating 18,000 arameans in the valley of salt David himself killed 10,000 in that same Valley continuing the battle that has been remembered ever since this was a challenging fight for David facing so many enemies with a smaller Army but God was with him David's victory in the valley of salt was extraordinary demonstrating that with God's help even overwhelming battles can be won however it's important to understand that we too must fight our battles to achieve Victory many people grew up hearing that God fights our battles which is partially
true while God has won the ultimate War we still need to actively fight for our blessings modern Christians often fall into the habit of only praying and crying out to God expecting him to do everything but Jesus the word made flesh combined prayer with action he didn't just pray he also acted just as David did when he fought his battles with faith in God for the Israelites salt was extremely significant it sealed God's covenant with them pure ified offerings and could be used to bless or curse that day David had to prove to the people
that God was with him and that the salt of the Covenant was upon him bringing Victory through Jehovah's hand so what are you doing to achieve the blessings of God are you just sitting and waiting praying at home and expecting God to show up do you think just attending church is enough often Christians wait for God's response without taking any action we don't want to make sacrifices or go beyond the bare minimum to be considered good Believers but this complacency doesn't lead to True gratitude or the greatest blessings what should a Christian do to receive
Their Blessings the answer is simple fight for them David's Story shows that salt can either bless or curse if you go into battle ready to win the salt will be a blessing but if you enter half-heartedly the salt could be your downfall this is how witches operate if they curse your home with salt and you aren't consecrated to God that curse can take hold but if you understand that salt is a weapon God gave you and you honor him by living Faithfully no curse or plague will touch your home a Christian must pray fast consecrate
themselves and live a life of righteousness piety and spiritual Integrity if you don't live in the spiritual realm something crucial is missing in your life salt marks the beginning of this spiritual struggle Jesus often healed with just a word but at times he used prophetic acts to demonstrate that he was the son of the Creator in John 9 when Jesus encountered a man born blind his disciples asked who sinned this man or his parents Jesus replied neither this man nor his parents sinned this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him
after saying this Jesus spat on the ground made some mud with the saliva and applied it to the Man's eyes he then told the man to wash in the pool of syum the man obeyed washed and returned with his sight restored perhaps you still don't fully grasp what I'm trying to explain so let me give you an example involving plants God created everything for his glory including plants with medicinal properties many of today's medicines like aspirin and morphine are derived from these plants while plants exist in the physical world they began in the spiritual realm
before anything existed there was nothing but a void and then everything was created by God the phys physical world is a manifestation of the spiritual before plants existed materially they were conceived in the mind of God in Jeremiah God says before I formed you in the womb I Knew You Jesus is the spirit made flesh and when the spiritual is brought into the material world miracles happen salt is just salt until it is connected with the spiritual realm in the spiritual World it represents Covenant cleansing and blessing Jesus demonstrated this when he spit on the
ground made mud and applied it to the Blind Man's eyes the Earth is just Earth but from its dust Man was created saliva is just saliva but it is also water and water was created to give life Jesus recognized this and used his authority to unite the spiritual with the material to perform a miracle but no is an important point in John 9 Jesus told the man to go wash in the pool of salom and when the man obeyed the miracle was completed obedience and action lead to Blessings In summary salt has been used as
a tool of War since Old Testament times representing the Covenant between God and his people particularly with David it was used to purify offerings and to condemn places marked by sin symbolically salt represents the Eternal and it is used to purify curse and establish covenants handling salt must be done with care and reverence from the moment you purchase it dedicating it to God to using new utensils reserved solely for this purpose when using salt in spiritual warfare Believers must be dedicated to God living as true children of faith salt is used in areas affected by
curses sin and human evil as well as in places where evil spirits are present as you engage in prayer and intercession it's important to bind any spirit of Vengeance salt can be applied to break generational curses of corruption particularly by placing it over the womb and renouncing any ancestral tithes it should also be sprinkled over tithes and offerings presented at the altar accompanied by prayers for their purification in homes and consecrated places scattering salt affirms Divine protection ensuring that no evil entity or curse can Prevail in eastern cultures salt symbolizes a bond of trust commitment
and eternal loyalty signifying a promise of no betrayal or harm however salt power lies in faith and dedication to God let me offer a final reflection have you ever heard of the bronze serpent that God commanded Moses to create in numbers 21 after leaving Mount Horeb the Israelites became discouraged and spoke against God and Moses complaining about the lack of bread and water in response Jehovah sent fiery serpents among them and many were bitten and died the people repented and asked Moses to pray for them God instructed Moses to make a fiery Serpent and set
it on a pole so that anyone who was bitten could look at it and be healed Moses did as he was told and those who looked at the bronze serpent lived God showed Mercy by providing a visible symbol for healing but the story doesn't end there later in 2 Kings 18 we learn that the Israelites began to worship the bronze serpent burning incense to it and calling it nushan King Hezekiah had to destroy the serpent because the people had forgotten that the power came from God not from a statue the same lesson applies to Salt
it is a tool to serve God's children not something to be revered or used carelessly use salt as an instrument of God's Authority with faithfulness and wisdom avoiding the mistakes of the Israelites when you do you will have the favor of your heavenly father remember blessings don't dwell in complaints or self-pity you are a warrior in times of spiritual warfare and your only goal is to move forward never backward a Christian is faithful to God in both good times and bad and your faith must remain unwavering live supernaturally as the Bible teaches thank you for
