Get Subscribers On YouTube By Avoiding These 3 Mistakes

I'm going to tell you three things that you might be doing that make people not want to subscribe to your YouTube channel and we're starting right now I'm Nick nimon welcome to another video today we are talking about three things that I see people doing all the time on YouTube that are keeping people from subscribing to their YouTube channels and the reason I'm making a video about this is because I see a lot of people in different places on the internet saying hey I'm putting up all these videos why are people not subscribing to my

channel why are people not coming to my channel why are they not subscribing once they do come to my channel what's going on well we're going to answer that question and see if you are guilty of any of these three things so that we can fix them so that you can get more subscribers and more views on your YouTube channel number one right now between two of my YouTube channels I have about 6,000 subscribers and because of that I get a lot of comments and unfortunately some of those comments are people saying things like hey

check out my video hey nice video come check out my channel hey this is a great video come check out my videos and let me know what you think now before we go further I understand that people instruct other YouTubers to leave comments and basically say to come check out my channel and they say you know hey how do I get traffic to my YouTube videos and one of the solutions that is commonly spread around YouTube is to leave comments on YouTube to get people to check out your videos but here's is the thing you're

doing it wrong what if you really want to get people to your YouTube channel through the comments you have to leave good comments you have to leave thoughtful comments you can't just drop by say nice video and spam your Channel or your video and then get out of there because here's what happens when someone does this on my channels on this channel I'm not as strict about it as I am on my other channel but when people do this I instantly hide that user's comments from my channel the reason I do this is because because

you know as a person in charge of both of my communities it's my responsibility to keep my comments free from spam and other garbage that might bother everybody else that's in my comments and let me make something clear I understand that some people have just started out on YouTube and they hear that information about leave comments on people's other people's YouTube videos and they take that and they interpret it into leaving links or saying hey check out my channel and all the videos they watch and I understand where that confusion can happen but the thing

is is that's not actually how you do it the way that you get people to your videos from comments is you leave constructive comments you leave comments that engage in the conversation you become an active participant on YouTube and you're saying legitimate things that you think about the video you're not just jumping in there for the sake of leaving a link to your video so that's number one don't comment spam if you want to get traffic from you YouTube comments then be a part of the community be an active participant don't just Spam your stuff

your your link to your channel is your username that's going to show up in every comment that you leave if people are interested in what it is that you're that you're saying the conversation that you're having they're going to click on your channel and they're going to check you out and as a side note this is also where Channel branding and things like that come into play because if you have an attractive Avatar there's a really good chance that people might see that and get curious and say oh hey you know what is this I'm

going to click on this and see what's going on over here on this channel because they left a thoughtful comment number two upload schedule now I'm not pointing fingers on this one because I'm guilty too you know on this channel right here I mean I let this go for all for 6 months before I started uploading videos again because of that I know that I'm hurting my subscriber count I know I'm hurting my view count I know that I'm hurting my input into YouTube's algorithm to send me more traffic because I'm not hitting that dead

line every single week and it's hurting me and it's hurting you too and the reason that I'm saying this one the reason that I'm putting myself out there on this one and adding this one to the list is because I want you to get subscribers I want you to get views on your channel you know as well as me I want all of us to get views and subscribers to our channels so that's number two in a nutshell make sure that you upload on a regular basis so that people can count on your content coming

out and more importantly so you can please YouTube's algorithms because if you are uploading on a regular basis you are bringing more people into YouTube more people are watching your videos and they're watching your videos on a more regular basis which pleases Google's and YouTube's algorithms number three content we've all heard it content is King listen every single video that you make you have to make it even if you have 10 subscribers you have to make that video like you have 10,000 subscribers or 1,000 subscribers 100,000 subscribers because it shows the viewer that you care

enough about the viewer to make your content as good as you possibly can and by doing that people are going to stick around they're going to subscribe they're going to leave comments and they're going to appreciate what you're doing and they're going to respect you as a video creator so to sum up number three you have to think your content through you have to make content that is good you have to make content that shows your viewers that you care enough about them to put that effort into making quality content for your viewer that alone

will get people to stick around that will get people to respect you as a video creator that will get subscribers or that'll get people to subscribe to your channel that that will get people to share your videos and comment and interact with you and send you emails and tell you you know how cool your stuff is and all of that if you focus on making quality content that helps people that's even that takes it a whole other level if it helps people if you make quality content that helps people then you will definitely over time

get subscribers and Views to your YouTube videos and now for something brand new I'm going to start doing in all my videos it's a subscriber shout out this idea comes from Alfie Turner YT Alfie basically said hey do you ever shout out other YouTubers to give them some exposure a little bit and until then until I read that comment the answer was no uh you know unless it was a collaboration or something but now I'm going to start doing that at the end of all of my videos because I appreciate you guys in this video
