of his sons he reaches Judah the fourth son and something incredible happens Jacob inspired by the spirit of God utters a prophecy that will echo down the centuries Judah your brothers will praise you your hand will be on the neck of your enemies your father's Sons will bow down to you Judah is a young lion you have risen from the prey my son he bows down he lies down like a lion and like a lioness who will Rouse him the scepter shall not depart from Judah nor the lawgiver from his feet until Shiloh come and
to him shall the peoples be gathered Genesis 498 to10 these words are full of meaning and promise Jacob Compares Judah to a lion a symbol of strength courage and royalty but there is something deeper Jacob mentions a scepter a symbol of authority and Rule and says that he will not depart from Judah until the one to whom it belongs Comes This is a prophecy about a future leader a powerful King who will come from judah's lineage a messiah who will bring peace and be worshiped by All Nations as time passes This Promise becomes a focal
point of Hope for the people of Israel with each generation they eagerly await the emergence of this promised leader the lion of the tribe of Judah this prophecy becomes a light in Dark Times a promise that God has not forgotten his people and that he will send a savior to deliver and guide them now fast forward hundreds of years and we see how this promise unfolds from Judah a line of Kings is was born including the famous King David David a young Shepherd boy who defeats the Giant Goliath becomes a great king and is known
for his heart after God's Own Heart he also receives a promise from God that his throne will be established Forever This Promise further strengthens the hope that the Messiah will come from the lineage of David who is from the tribe of Judah Generations pass and the hope of the Messiah lives on even in difficult times Israel's prophets such as Isaiah and Micah continue to speak about this future leader Isaiah for example prophesies about a child who will be born and will be called wonderful counselor Mighty God Everlasting father Prince of Peace Isaiah 9:6 this child
is the Fulfillment of the promise made to Judah finally after many centuries of waiting the prophecy begins to be fulfilled on a quiet night in the small town of Bethlehem a young woman called Mary gives birth to a baby boy this child is Jesus of the lineage of David and therefore of the tribe of Judah Angels announce his birth to the shepherds in the fields and Magie from the East come to worship the newborn Jesus is the Fulfillment of the ancient promise he is the lion of Judah from his birth Jesus's life was marked by
signs and wonders he grows in wisdom and Grace and at the age of 30 begins his ministry he heals the sick raises the dead and preaches about the kingdom of God with authority people recognize in him the Fulfillment of Prophecy the promised Messiah who brings Redemption and hope the story of the Lion of Judah begins with a promise made to a patriarch on his deathbed and unfolds over centuries culminating in the birth life death and resurrection of Jesus let's move on to a night in the small town of Bethlehem more than 2,000 years ago the
town though small and humble is about to be the scene of an event that will change the history of mankind Mary a young woman chosen by God is about to give birth to her first child her husband Joseph accompanies her both aware of the greatness of the moment that is approaching because they know that the baby Mary is carrying is special a fulfillment of ancient prophecies Mary and Joseph arrive in Bethlehem after a long and exhausting Journey from Nazareth the city is full due to the the sensus decreed by the Roman Emperor and there is
no room for them in the ends they find shelter in a stable a simple and improvised place for such a grand event and it is there under a Starry Sky among the animals that Mary gives birth to Jesus she wraps the baby in cloths and lays him in a Manger a scene of humility and simplicity that contrast profoundly with the greatness of the one who had just been born that same night in the nearby Hills some she s were tending their flocks suddenly the sky lights up and an angel of the Lord appears filling them
with fear the angel says to themo not be afraid for I bring good news of great joy for all the people today in the city of David the Savior who is Christ the lord has been born and this will be a sign to you you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a Manger soon after a multitude of angels joined the first praising God and saying glory to God in the highest and on Earth peace to people of Good Will the Shepherds full of joy and curiosity ran to Bethlehem to see
for themselves what the angel had told them when they find Mary Joseph and the baby Jesus they are amazed and spread the news of what they had seen and heard everyone who hears the story is impressed and Mary keeps all these things in her heart reflecting on the great mystery that has just happened meanwhile in a distant land in the East some Magi wise Scholars of the Stars notice a bright new star in the sky they interpret this sign as the announcement of the birth of a great king Guided by the star the Magie set
off on a long journey to find and worship this newborn king they finally arrive in Bethlehem bringing with them precious gifts gold frankincense and myrr symbols of royalty Divinity and sacrifice when they see Jesus with his mother Mary they fall down and worship Him recognizing in him the Fulfillment of the Messianic prophecies the story of Jesus's birth is full of heavenly signs and moments of adoration both from The Humble Shepherds and the wise Magi from the east from the very beginning his life is marked by extraordinary events that point to his divine nature and his
role as the promised Messiah Jesus born into humble circumstances but with a grand Destiny is the lion of Judah destined to bring Redemption and Lead God's people this moment in Bethlehem is not just the Fulfillment of ancient prophecies but the beginning of a new era of Hope and salvation Jesus from the lineage of Judah is born to transform lives and bring light to a world fallen and destroyed by sin imagine a man in his 30s with eyes that seem to see straight into your soul walking through the towns and cities of ancient Judea this man
is Jesus and with every step he is about to to change the world forever growing in wisdom and Grace Jesus the son of Mary and Joseph begins his public Ministry carrying with him the Divine mission of revealing the kingdom of God to humanity at the very beginning of his ministry Jesus went to the River Jordan to be baptized by John the Baptist as he emerges from the water the heavens open and a Divine voice Echoes this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased Matthew 3:17 this moment marks the official start of his
mission imbued with the Holy Spirit Jesus is ready to bring the message of the kingdom of God to all who have ears to hear and hearts to receive Jesus begins to preach in synagogues squares and Hills proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God his words are strong and authoritative like the Roar of a lion echoing in people's hearts he speaks with a wisdom that confounds the wisest and an authority that challenges the Rel religious traditions of the time his message is clear repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand Matthew 4:17 but
Jesus doesn't just talk he acts he heals the sick freeing them from their afflictions the blind see the deaf hear the paralyzed walk he raises the dead bringing comfort and hope to bereaved families each Miracle is a demonstration of the supernatural power that can only come from God confirming that he is the promised Messiah imagine the joy and amazement on people's faces as they witness these Miracles crowds begin to follow him seeking healing wisdom and the presence of the man who seems unlike any other Jesus also challenges the religious authorities of his day the Pharisees
and Sadducees strict guardians of Jewish Traditions often found themselves in confrontation with him Jesus brings a new interpretation of the scriptures one that emphasizes love mercy and Justice he denounces hypocrisy and empty legality proclaiming that the true worship of God is to love God above all else and your neighbor as yourself through Parables Jesus teaches profound truths in a way that everyone can understand he talks about the swer who scatters seeds on different types of soil illustrating how people receive the word of God he tells the parable of the Good Samaritan showing the true love
of neighbor transcends social and religious barriers each Parable is like a jewel full of wisdom and Revelation inviting listeners to a deeper understanding of the kingdom of God Jesus also calls disciples to follow him 12 ordinary men fishermen tax collectors and zealots are chosen to learn from him and continue his mission they accompany him witnessing his miracles listening to his teachings and gradually understanding the depth of his call among them Peter James and John become his closest companions witnessing moments of great Revelation such as the Transfiguration on the mountain every day Jesus reputation grows he
attracts crowds who Marvel at his authority and power recognizing in him the true leader sent by God people come from all over to hear him to be healed and to find Hope in his message Jesus is the lion of Judah in action not just a symbol of strength but also of justice and mercy his presence and actions transform lives and plant the seeds of a faith that will continue to grow and spread throughout the world Jesus with his authority and power reveals the nature of the kingdom of God not just as a future Kingdom but
as a present reality that transforms hearts and Minds he is the lion of Judah whose Roar awakens Humanity to A New Hope and a new way and so Jesus ministry continues to inspire and challenge bringing light and truth to all who wish to follow the path of the kingdom of God it was morning in Jerusalem the City full of pilgrims who have come to celebrate Passover is in a frenzy of activity the streets are packed and the air is full of expectation suddenly news begins to spread rapidly Jesus of Nazareth is entering the city Jesus
riding on a donkey is approaching the Gates of Jerusalem this is not an insignificant detail but the Fulfillment of an ancient prophecy Zariah had written see your king comes to you just and Victorious humble and riding on a donkey Zechariah 9:9 by choosing a donkey instead of a warhorse Jesus is showing that his Reign is one of peace and humility not military conquest the crowds begin to gather men women and children line the road many of them have heard of Jesus his miracles his teachings full of wisdom they are excited and eager to see the
one some call the Messiah the Son of David people cut palm branches and spread them along the path While others lay their cloaks on the ground for Jesus to pass by this gesture is a sign of honor and respect recognizing Jesus as a king as Jesus advances the crowd begins to shout hosana to the son of David blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord hosana in the highest Matthew 21:9 hosana is a cry of praise and salvation and by calling Jesus Son of David they are acknowledging his Royal lineage and his
claim to the throne of Israel this is a moment of Celebration and hope where the people of Jerusalem publicly recognize Jesus as the promised King but Jesus the lion of Judah doesn't enter the city with Pomp and Circumstance his entry is marked by humility and meekness he doesn't come with an army or in a chariot but on a simple donkey a symbol of peace this image contrasts sharply with the expectations of many who were expecting a warrior king who would free Israel from Roman rule Jesus is showing that his kingdom is different it is spiritual
and eternal not based on Power and violence but on love and Justice as Jesus advances he is moved by the sight of the city he knows that his triumphal entry also marks the beginning of his passion the weak that will culminate in his death and Resurrection even so he presses on determined to fulfill his father's will and bring Salvation to humanity the scene of jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem is a moment of profound significance it is a public recognition of his kingship and a declaration of his Divine Mission the Crowds Are clamoring for an Earthly
King but Jesus offers them something much greater a kingdom of justice peace and love that will transform lives and Hearts as the Palms Sway and the shouts of hosana echo through the streets of Jerusalem Jesus continues his journey knowing that the real Victory Is Yet To Come he is the lion of Judah not because of his Earthly power but because of his ability to love serve and sacrifice himself for all of us his triumphal entry is not just a historical event but an eternal reminder of the kind of King he is a king of humility
Mercy mercy and Redemption this is the arrival of the king the triumphal entry into Jerusalem a moment that signals the beginning of the end of an era and the start of a New Covenant between God and Humanity Jesus the lion of Judah is ready to face what comes next with the certainty that his mission will bring life and hope to all who follow him after jesus' triumphal entry the city is buzzing with expectations and intentions Jesus continues to teach in the temple confronting the religious authorities and bringing hope to the people but at the same
time the religious leaders are plotting his arrest they see Jesus as a threat to their power and influence on the night of the Last Supper Jesus gathers with his disciples in an upper room he shares the Bread and Wine instituting the Lord's supper and speaks of his body and blood which will be given for many he also reveals that one of them will betray him Judas es scariot one of the 12 leaves to hand Jesus over to the religious leaders for 30 pieces of silver after supper Jesus and his disciples go to the Garden of
Gethsemane there Jesus praise intensely knowing what is to come he is in anguish but he submits to the father's will saying father if you are willing remove this cup from me nevertheless not my will but yours be done Luke 22:42 suddenly in this Garden Judas appears with an armed crowd he kisses Jesus signaling the guards who to arrest Jesus is taken away and so begins a series of events that culminate in his crucifixion he is Tried by the religious leaders accused of blasphemy and taken to pilate the Roman governor who condemns him to death even
though he finds no guilt in him the people incited by the religious leaders cry out crucify him Jesus is scourged crowned with thorns and forced to carry his cross to golgatha there he is nailed to the cross between two thieves even on the cross Jesus shows Mercy asking the father to forgive his executioners and promising the repentant Thief that he will be in Paradise at noon Darkness covers the earth and at 3:00 in the afternoon Jesus cries out in a loud voice it is finished John 19:30 and gives up his Spirit the veil of the
temple is torn the earth trembles and the tombs open the Son of God the lion of Judah seems defeated Jesus body is taken down from the cross and placed in a new Tomb belonging to Joseph of arthea a large Stone seals the entrance and guards are posted to keep watch all seems lost and his followers are desolate but the third day Dawns with a miracle women who go to the tomb to embomb the body find the stone removed and the tomb empty an angel tells them why are you looking for the one who lives among
the dead he is not here he is risen Luke 24:56 Jesus rises from the dead defeating sin and death he appears to Mary Magdalene to the disciples on the road to emus and to the Apostles showing them the marks of the nails and eating with them to prove that he is alive his resurrection is the triumphant Roar of the Lion of Judah proclaiming victory over the forces of Darkness he gives his disciples the Great Commission therefore go and make disciples of all Nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and
of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you Matthew 28:1 19:20 this event transforms human history offering Redemption and hope to all who believe Jesus res res Direction confirms that he is the promised Messiah the Eternal King of the tribe of Judah whose reign will have no end his victory is not just a victory over physical death but over the power of sin and the separation between God and Humanity Jesus the lion of Judah is risen and lives forever ensuring that those who trust in him will also have eternal life
Jesus crucifixion and Resurrection are not just historical moments but events that continue to impact lives around the world the lion of judah's message of Love sacrifice and victory resonates through the centuries bringing hope and Redemption to all who hear and believe after jesus' glorious Resurrection a new chapter begins in the history of the world Jesus spends 40 days with his disciples a period full of teachings and Revelations imagine the disciples joy and amazement at seeing the master who was dead now alive and walking among them these 40 days are intensely precious because Jesus is preparing
his followers for the great Mission ahead of them during these days Jesus meets his disciples on several occasions he appears to them in a closed room walks with two of them on the road to Emmas and meets them on the shores of the Sea of Galilee in each encounter Jesus teaches and clarifies profound truths about the kingdom of God he tells them all authority has been given to me in heaven and on Earth therefore go and make disciples of all Nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the
Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you Matthew 2818 to20 he commissions them to be Witnesses of his life death and Resurrection starting in Jerusalem and going to the ends of the Earth finally the day of the Ascension arrives jesus takes his disciples to the Mount of Olives a special place where he often retired ired to pray there he gives them his last instructions and words of encouragement he promises the Holy Spirit who will come to enable them to fulfill their mission of preaching the gospel then in a moment of pure
Majesty Jesus begins to ascend into heaven imagine the awe and reverence of the disciples as they watch their Master being lifted up before their eyes until he disappears into a cloud they stare into the sky amazed and a little confused when two angels appear and say to them men of Galilee why are you standing here looking into the sky this same Jesus who was taken up from you into heaven will come back just as you saw him go up Acts 1:1 Jesus Ascension marks the beginning of his Reign at the right hand of God the
lion of Judah is now enthroned in heaven interceding for his people and awaiting the moment to return in glory He reigns with supreme authority ruling over all things visible and invisible this Ascension is a sign of his final victory over death and sin and a guarantee that he is preparing a place for all those who believe in him with Jesus enthroned at the right hand of God the disciples returned to Jerusalem full of Hope and expectation they were waiting for the coming of the Holy Spirit whom Jesus had promised on the day of Pentecost this
Spirit descends upon them with power enabling them to speak in different languages and to proclaim the gospel with boldness the message of Jesus the lion of Judah begins to spread throughout the world bringing light and salvation to every corner of the Earth but the story doesn't end there Jesus Ascension is accompanied by an extraordinary promise he will return This Promise is a source of Living Hope for all believers one day Jesus will return in glory as judge and King he will bring justice peace and renewal to the whole of creation his return will be an
event of great Triumph and joy where all tears will be wiped away and the pain and suffering of his elect will be no more Believers live with the expectation of this great day knowing that the lion of Judah who once came in humility and meekness will return with power and Majesty the promise of Jesus return is the foundation of Christian hope a constant reminder that evil will not have the final word the biblical narrative ends with this Living Hope assuring us that one day the lion of Judah will Roar again bringing a new Heaven and
a new Earth where he will reign forever with Justice and love this is the Eternal reign of the Lion of Judah A Reign that has already begun and will one day be fully realized the story of Jesus is not just a story of past events but an ongoing story of redemption and hope until the day of his glorious return we live in the certainty that Jesus the lion of Judah is on the throne interceding for us and guiding us on our journey of Faith do you believe in these things write in the comments that concludes
