Take off your blindfolds! I just trapped these two strangers 100 ft in the air, and if they can survive up here for 30 days straight, they will win a quarter of $1 million. Go ahead and say hi to each other.
-Hey. -Hi! I'm Alison.
Angus. Lovely to meet you. Are either of you afraid of heights?
Yeah. Honestly, not at all. My heart is, like, beating right now.
I think this goes without saying: if you fall, obviously you lose. I'm gonna go on the ground. Remember, if you fall, you lose everything.
Noting that. I’ll be thinking about that every day. Inside each of your crates is everything you need to survive for the next 30 days.
Hey, think about it: if your pillow blows off the edge, you're done. You don't have a pillow. You need to chill.
You're putting me on edge. Can I throw Angus off? I'm so done with this conversation.
We've really tried our hardest to find two people that are complete opposites. Alison is a construction worker. I'm the heavy equipment operator-- technically, demolition.
And Angus is the star of the most popular UK TV series. It's about dating. You just date for a living?
Yeah. You know, I think we're kinda polar opposites, but it'll be ok. But little do they know how challenging this will be.
Will these polar opposites be able to survive all 30 days? Or will the tension be too much to handle? Maybe I'll burn your tent.
Burn my tent? [screams] I don't know about you, but I think I'm ready to set up the tent, ‘cause it’s windy. Aw, it’s so tiny in here.
We're camping in the sky! This is gonna be tough. Much tougher than they're imagining, because… unlike our previous challenge videos, if one of them leaves, the video doesn’t end.
Instead of splitting the quarter of $1 million, the person who stays keeps it all to themselves. They are quite literally incentivized to have their partner leave. I think I slept about two hours maybe.
It was so cold. When you live in the sky, you’re exposed to the elements 24/7. No way it’s only Day 2 and we need our coats.
That's bad. Oh, we are swinging. It’s a wee bit windy.
But the wind was only the beginning. Imagine if I just pushed you now. I would be pissed.
I'mma say that right now. Ugh. It's kinda hard to get comfortable in here right now.
Oh, yeah. The weather was crazy last night. The wind was really, really bad.
It was raining, so now everything's wet. So you didn’t sleep? No.
Not really. I slept pretty good. Alison is adapting quickly.
I'm preparing my tent for snack time. Chicken burrito bowl. Pretty excited about that.
Angus, on the other hand… I'm struggling with the tent. I don't wanna be in it. It may look very cozy here, but it's not.
Hopefully it doesn't rain again for a while. Oh my God! [giggling] Oh my God!
The wind is fully in my tent now. Our tents are literally on the edge, too. This is lovely.
This is ridiculous. And the rain continued… I'm scared that it's just gonna rain straight for, like, 24 hours. all night long.
It is the middle of the night. It's still raining. Angus is walking around instead of sleeping in his tent because he hates his tent.
I cannot sleep, and my tent’s soaked. I was about to throw myself off this platform. Ok, so this is our one place to take shelter without our tents, 'cause everything else is open and exposed.
It’s literally the toilet, by the way. I'm on the toilet. She's on the toilet.
I'm standing guard. Oh, it's so nice and sunny. I think this is the first time that I've actually had to shield my eyes from the sun, and it's Day 5.
[Jimmy] Day 5. How's it been? It's been rough, man.
My gosh, it has rained a lot. We woke up wet one day, and we've been hiding in the portaloo. -But it's been terrible-- -It's our shelter.
These tents over here. What do you think of 'em? I like ‘em.
-I find it a little snug. -I think it’s great. It's like a little tight in there.
It’s damp. Very, very cold. I love my tent.
It’s cute and cozy. Would you potentially want a nicer tent? Yes!
I love my tent. It works good, and… No. I’d love a new tent.
Bring it up! Whoa! Alright, stop!
[Chandler] Yes, please stop! [Nolan] Good. I think it's good here.
As you can see, 25 ft away are two brand-new, luxurious tents that are leagues better than what you currently have. There's pillows! Woo!
This bed is so dry and comfortable. -Ok, I change my mind. I like it.
-What do you think of it? If you look at those luxurious tents, you'll notice that they're elevated off the ground. So they will conserve heat better.
I love being elevated. They have pillows, they have blankets, they have more space, and they're extra rain-proof. They do look nice.
I take it back what I said, I like it. And if you look above the tents, you'll notice two targets. Here's three tennis balls.
Here's three tennis balls. You both have to hit your target one time. And if you do, you'll get these upgraded tents.
But if only one of you misses your target, not only do you lose the tents, I will be eliminating this quadrant of your platform, effectively destroying a quarter of your entire world. -There's a lot on the line. -Right, you gotta lock in.
This entire glass floor right here will be gone if either one of you can't hit your target, so you both have to make at least one shot. -We both gotta lock in. -You gotta lock in!
-I’m locked in! I’m locked in. -Lock in!
Wow, this fits me, and I’m 6'5". Like, come on. Closer to 6'2", but you know… What?
Do you think you got it? I don't know until I throw the first one. After the first one, I'll know if I got it or not.
[Jimmy] This is big. Everything rides on this. If both of you miss, you might as well just jump off the ledge, so I can just end the video.
Oh, I'm so nervous. There's, like, no wind in here, by the way. None?
Absolutely none? I don't feel any breeze. Alright.
I'm gonna hit it, then. I'm just gonna throw it. Alright, go for it.
I'm chilling. I don't know why I'm waiting. Oh my gosh!
First throw! You did it! First throw!
-Yeah! -It barely made it! After that, there's so much pressure.
Alright, you have tough shoes to fill now. The pressure's crazy. You have three opportunities now.
What was your secret? Just don't think about it. Launch it.
Alright. Can he do it first try? Aw, he missed.
He missed! No! Alison, I'm sorry-- If I don't get it, I'm sorry.
I knew you should have left Day 2! Hey, fill me up. Fill me up!
Come on, gas me up! If he would've quit… there would've only been one target… Oh, ho, ho, ho! Oh, no!
You got one ball left! Come on. Take your time.
Wait, before you throw, I need you to give him a pep talk. Ok, lock in! Because if you don't, we're both gonna be sleeping in these tents, and I'm not going to listen to you complain any more.
Well, it’s not even just the tents. This part of the floor shrinks-- is gone! We will literally, the second he miss, start unscrewing this platform.
Where you are right now, you'd be falling. Oh, man. That's all you should hear to just hit the target.
Hey, this is the difference between you making it 30 days and leaving. Are you really gonna let her down? [Nolan] Dude, this platform is swaying like crazy.
Ok. [gasps] No! Oh my gosh, you missed!
I can't believe it. Ah! Dude.
That is heartbreaking, bro. I'm so sorry. Oh, no.
Oh, no. Oh, no. Man, the pressure got to me.
You're gonna wish you played a little more baseball. [giggling] I can't believe it. Oh my goodness.
Hey, Chandler and Nolan, go and push it off. Ah, man… Wave the tents goodbye. [Angus] Oh, no.
That would've been game changer. -Yeah. -Would've been.
They still look cozy, even down there, man. But that's not all. Ah.
[Alison] Great disappointment. Here goes the first tile. It's now gone.
Oh, no! Let's keep going. [Alison] Dang… That was rough.
Hopefully Day 10 goes better. Yeah. Don't screw up Day 10 for us.
With a quarter of their floor already gone, Angus and Alison instantly noticed the consequences of a smaller platform. When I get up in the morning, it's like, no floor. Gotta be careful.
Gotta be on my A-game right when I wake up. I'm surprised you didn't have a nightmare about the game. I don't need to have a nightmare about the game because I'm living the nightmare.
This is the nightmare. Angus was clearly mad at himself for losing the challenge. I'm just staring at how cozy they could've been.
This is what every hero does when they fail. Like, then they go into a state of quiet reflection and depression. That's what I'm in right now.
Huh. Allison was also mad at him. Yeah, that was definitely your fault.
I don't even know if we'll have another chance at shelter again. I don't know if that was, like, our one opportunity. I don't know.
And that's why losing platform is such a big deal, 'cause we don't have much to lose. If we lose anymore, like… We can't afford to lose anymore! The two of them were still getting used to living in the sky.
They had to deal with things like bugs… It's, like, winding up its wings already. Oh, it's looking at me-- [screams] less than ideal food… That's gotta be gross. That chicken I just ate, that was cat food.
They also had to try to get along, despite coming from very different backgrounds. Money has never made me happy. Grew up around it, and it just never did anything for me.
The happiest times my life had been when I've been broke. You'd say money doesn't buy happiness or whatever. So you might be viewing it differently 'cause you've already had money.
That money can change a lot of people's lives. Yeah, I'm sure. I would take the money home to start up a company with my brother.
Maybe put a little in savings. I feel like you really deserve it. Genuinely.
After hearing how dismissive Angus was about the money, Allison decided she didn't just deserve her half. She deserved all of it. Angus, I'm gonna vlog real quick.
Do you want me to cover my ears? Yeah, it's an emotional one. So, I haven't talked about, like, my game plan a lot.
Nobody in the 30-day or 100-day challenge has came in here and successfully made it to the end and stolen money from the other person. So I told myself, I'm gonna do that. I'm not even joking.
Sometimes it's like we actually forget how many days we've been up here. So this actually keeps us sane. Day #8.
What a beautiful sunset to watch. They were getting along better. We should play catch.
[giggling] You were telling me how athletic you are… I throw one can… Ooh-uhhh. [laughing] But their improved mood didn’t last long. [Angus] Oh, God.
And the wind! Jesus. [Alison] Gotta love it.
Gotta love it. [Angus] Good morning. It's so cold.
I'm standing in the sun. Waiting for it to get warm. So cold, so cold!
But the weather wasn't their only problem. I don't like the tortillas. I can't wait till we can eat normal food.
It's now Day 10. Let's see how they're doing. How you guys doing?
Yeah, not bad, man. Is the wind this bad all the time? -Most of the time.
-Pretty much. Now, we have a button. Why do you think this button's here?
Is it to tap out of something? Oh, like, if you press this, I'll give you money to quit? -Yeah!
-No. It's to stop a giant saw blade. Send it up!
Across from you, all the food you need for the next 30 days that is infinitely better than the MREs you guys have. And the only thing stopping you two from getting it is that saw blade cutting that rope. You see, in random intervals over the next 24 hours, that saw blade will start to fall.
And you must press this red button before it cuts the rope to reset it at the top. But if you fail to press the button, the platform will instantly fall, and all your food will join your tents down there. Ah, man… If you lose, you'll also lose a part of your floor.
I'm more concerned about the floor. Surely, with this game, he's not gonna screw it up. I can't miss it, right?
It's just there. But do you trust him? Because he's shown he can fail you.
Start the game! The 24 hour timer has started. Bye!
Bye. Love you. He'll say it back one day.
[laughing] We gotta push through for the floor. Redemption time. Lock in.
[Angus] And… Go. Go. [giggling] What if you have to go to the bathroom?
Well, then you need to let it get low so you have more reload time to go do something. The hour, then it might drop again. It's gonna be a rough night.
Oh, button! Button! [Alison] Back up, up, up it goes!
I'm already tired. Oh, yeah. I'm gonna eat so much pie.
[Angus] This is literally a entire day and night challenge. And we could fail at any point during it. This terrible MRE… I wish I had that food.
The hardest part of this challenge is the saw could fall at any minute. Meaning the contestants had to be on their toes at all times. Think about it.
In less than 20 hours, we can have hot coffee. Angus! Angus!
Oh man, that was close. But eventually, they had to take turns to sleep. Allison went to bed first… Good night.
trusting that Angus could keep an eye on the button and keep them in the challenge. So, we don't want it to get much lower than this… Bang. And then I can just chill mentally for a bit.
Without Alison nearby to keep him on track, Angus became distracted. And then, eventually, downright careless. [sighs] Angus!
Are you serious? I'm so sorry. Literally, it's like I lost consciousness.
The next thing I know, I just hear the sawing sound. And that was it. I'm so sorry, man.
It is what it is. Like, we can't do anything about it now. Oh my goodness, guys.
I don't even know what happened. Like, my eyes just glazed over. Yeah, that's just a graveyard of my failure down there.
Losing the food isn't your only consequence. We also have to remove a quarter of your floor. Oh, God.
No! I'm sorry, man. As you should be.
I will see the two of you on Day 15. Have fun. The loss of the Day 10 challenge was really hitting Angus hard.
Alive? I can't sleep. I don't know how many more times I can mess up up here.
All I'm doing is just making things worse. I feel I’m gonna go. Do you think so?
Like, 90% sure. Angus keeps talking about how he is gonna quit. And just being like, I can’t do this.
I am honestly a little bit worried just because having somebody else to, like, talk to makes the time go by so much faster. So not having somebody to be in the presence of, I think it's going to make the challenge way harder. But by the next night, Angus seemed to have his mind made up.
I just wanted to warn you now. What? I think it's likely that I'm probably gonna go tomorrow.
I don't wanna be a liability, and I don't wanna, every challenge day, be a risk of letting you down. I mean, look at the size of our little platform now. It's human mistakes.
You don't have to cut it short. Oh, come on… don't. It's easier just to stay.
So, while Angus had his doubts, on Day 13, I decided to give them a little surprise. You've lost two of the challenges so far. Two out of two, yeah.
That food would've made a big difference in morale. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
Well, we got a surprise for you. Woo! Let's go!
But since you're in the sky, we needed to call in a little air support. [Nolan] It's a blimp! [Alison] A blimp?
And you're getting Jack Link's. Special delivery! Woo!
Lowering the beef sticks! [Alison] What? This is so cool.
- I'm so glad I didn't leave this morning. -Yeah, what? Oh my god.
I got some hooks for y’all. Oh, thank you very much. Beef sticks coming down!
Alright, trying to get meat sticks from a floating plane. A little bit closer. [Alison] You got it.
Alright, we got it. Teriyaki coming down! [Angus] Of all days, I needed this.
[Alison] It's just, like, taunting me. [Angus] You got it! Yes?
Woo! [Alison] It's like fishing, but in the air. [Angus] Let's go.
Angus, does this make you feel better for losing the other food? I can't even remember what the other food was, man. This is way better.
And it comes in four flavors: Original, Teriyaki, Turkey and Zero Sugar. That's the best thing I've had since I've been up here. -No, 100%.
-By a mile. [Karl] Enjoy! -Bye, Karl!
-Bye, Karl! And if you want to try the best beef sticks in the world, go to your local Walmart, Target, 7-Eleven, or Kroger. We can't wait for you to try 'em.
I think eating something other than another MRE worked because on Day 14, Angus woke up in a much better headspace. Like, how do you feel today? I woke up and was like, "Oh, it's a new day.
" Yesterday kind of reminded me what a weird, crazy experience and, like, opportunity we have up here. So it's like, at least if I stay here, I've got a chance to kinda redeem myself. Challenge day coming up.
We've gotta stay locked in. Day 14. We are here and we're not leaving.
Five days with the missing floor. What's it been like? Obviously, it was a rough couple of days post-saw incident.
Play it. Angus! That was my bad.
So, um, shall we jump into it? -Yes. -Let's do it.
Your Day 15 challenge is simple. We've built this 30 ft balance beam 100 ft over the ground. And all one of you has to do is walk across, touch the other platform, and then walk back without falling.
And before one of you go, reveal what they're competing for! An improved tent. The same tent that you cost her, and some of the food you lost on Day 10.
Ok. Question. What if one of us goes and falls?
Does the other get a chance to go? No, because if you fall, you're out. -Oh.
-Oh! Yeah. So, now you have to decide, who is going across the balance beam?
I'm not gonna lie. With this one, I feel like I can get across. No 'cause, I mean, I got to redeem myself.
And there's, like, a reputation on the line. -I’ll do it. -You're doing it?
Yeah, I’ll do it. Yeah. I'll trust you.
Also, if he falls, you'll lose another section of platform. Yeah. There's a lot riding on this.
You are risking a quarter of $1 million that would go to Alison's prize pool if you fall. -You got it. -Whenever you’re ready.
Oh, wait. Before you step on it… Here, can you step up? Boys, can you help me?
Karl, lift it up. You can drop yours and I’ll drop mine. This is the actual balance beam!
Angus! Oh. [laughing] It’s so much smaller.
Oh my God. Angus, you got it. Yep.
You said that last time. [Jimmy] Redemption! Oh!
Oh my God. [Alison] You got it, Angus. This is so hard.
Oh! [Jimmy] Ope! Alright, be the hero.
[Nolan] Imagine you’re a bird. Whoa! But no, not a bird.
You might see Angus flying in a second. He's off the platform. If he falls, it's over.
[Jimmy] Take your time. No rush. [Alison] You got it.
[exhales] Oh my God. There you go. You're doing great.
He's doing great. It's getting more shaky. [Karl] I think you're the one that's getting more shaky.
[Jimmy] Look how much his legs are shaking. It's almost like he's suspended 150 ft in the air. Oh my God.
This beam is going, man! [Nolan] Stabilize! Stabilize.
[exhales sharply] Oh! [Jimmy] Oh! [Angus] No!
No! No! No!
Allison. I'm sorry. It's ok.
And after 15 days… -I'm Alison. -Angus. I cannot sleep.
It’s been rough, man. Angus’s time in the sky is over. It's like every emotion going through right now, I'm angry that I couldn't make it across.
I'm upset and sad that, like, I've left that platform behind. Well, should we just throw Angus's tent off? I mean, you can.
You don't need it. Even though it was starting to feel like maybe it's my time to go. It's like… Oh… You know, I hate that tent, but that still really hurts to see that.
Oh, man! Welcome to your new home. What do you think of it?
Uh, not much to look at. Your friend's gone, you lost half your floor. Yep.
Is there anything I can do for you? I feel like you've already done everything you could do. You gave us a great opportunity and we failed.
-And by we, you mean Angus? -Yeah. Surely, Day 20 will go better.
I'll see you then. See you then. If she doesn't fall.
But the next few days would prove to be the toughest yet. It's the first day without Angus, and it's already super weird. Super quiet, super boring.
I have nobody to talk to up here. Yeah, it's just gonna be a really long 15 days. As you can tell, this platform is extremely small now.
Sorry, Angus, but I really need this extra space. Your red box has got to go. Goodbye, Angus.
It's super windy and cold, if you can't tell. Better to be in here than miserable out there. This is by far the coldest night so far.
It's brutal. This wind is awful. It just makes me wanna hide away in my tent.
But Alison woke up with a new problem. The last thing I thought was gonna happen was whoever I got put up here with was gonna leave! A little bored.
I'm going crazy. So, Alison tried to distract herself. Probably thinking, "Dang, she's already going insane without Angus.
" I think my leg's already hurt. Haven’t even done that much. I think it's time we do some remodeling.
Back on the edge. But Alison got so bored… It honestly feels like I've lived up here forever. that she literally started talking to, well, anything.
Say hello to Angus. It's just like Angus, but a little cooler. Get it?
[laughing] Angus, are you gonna sit there and just watch or are you gonna help? I don't know if I like him just staring at me like that, but it's better than being alone. When I woke up this morning, the first thing I thought about was, "Oh my, challenge day is in one day.
" This is life changing money. Like, I'm not just viewing that as chump change, like, this is money that could change a lot of people's lives. Losing floor is definitely a fear.
I'm nervous. I don't know if it's gonna be doable. It might be pushing me to my edge.
[Jimmy] Which is exactly what I had in mind. What's taking so long? Calm down, mustard.
[laughing] It's Day 20, and you've been alone for five days. This is already not enough space for you. Yeah, so if Angus were here, it would definitely be not enough space.
So, you'd prefer having your space back over having Angus back? Yeah, I would. How about instead of that, we introduce a new challenge that can remove more space!
I like that. You guys like it! Bring up the spikes!
This platform is covered with hundreds of 6 inch long, razor sharp spikes. And every day, a balloon is gonna go up towards those spikes and you have to shoot an arrow to pop the balloon. But if you miss and the balloon is popped by the spikes, then you lose a panel of floor tile.
-Release the balloons! -[screams] [Nolan] It's rising. [Alison] That balloon is going so fast.
[Karl] There it is! You got it! Oh my goodness!
Yo, what a shot. [chanting] Yeah! Yes, yes!
Yeah, yeah! [laughing] Dude. First try!
[screams] Are you Robin Hood? Are you Katniss Everdeen? It's only happening once a day.
So you're in the clear. Can I have those? Yeah.
Just don't drop them or else that’d be bad. Bye! Bye, guys!
[Karl] Yo, she's so cooked. Low-key had nightmares last night about this balloon. I'm more nervous today than I was yesterday.
I feel like this is the hardest challenge we've had to face up here. This is a 24/7 challenge. You constantly have to be on your toes.
You constantly have to be looking to see when the balloon is gonna rise. Oh, no. Oh, no!
Oh, no. It's actually coming up here. Ok, ok.
Oh my gosh! I can’t handle this stress. But what Alison doesn’t realize… Is it moving?
Oh, no! is that the timing of these balloons isn't random. No!
It's specifically linked to when she’ll least expect it. No, no, no… Missed my first balloon and I had to pick a piece of flooring to go. I ended up going with the back corner over there by the yellow box.
Yeah. This challenge isn't just-- Oh, hit the balloons. It's fine.
No, it's literally, like, I need floor in order to make it to the end to get the money. It's kind of life or death. Oh, shoot.
Yeah, come take my floor. Day after day, the balloons continued. Oh, shoot.
Continued to threaten Alison's living conditions. About time. I can relax now.
Not really, though. Because I have to do it again tomorrow. But little does Allison know that she doesn't.
Because it's time for the final challenge. Hey, how's it going? I mean, it could be worse.
Could be better. Only five days left. How's it feel?
Crazy. Not real. What do you see down there?
A lot of balloons, but at least they’re not red. As long as they're not red, it's good. Think of something you would enjoy in the morning… on your way to work… Coffee!
-Yeah… -Starbucks! Starbucks! -Really?
-Yeah! This is a sick joke. Send it on up!
Ah! I’m actually so excited! We felt bad about how much you've lost.
I’ve lost a lot. Which is why they stepped in and provided you with your very own Starbucks up here in the sky. What!
That's right. For the rest of the challenge, Alison will get to enjoy her very own Starbucks. And a barista!
With a barista! Let’s go! I'm so excited.
So, my name is Josiah. I'm Alison. This barista is gonna be here every day for the rest of the challenge.
Here's my first sip on the platform. You're gonna have, like, a brain high. [slurps] Thank you.
But unlike Alison, you don't have to go 100 ft in the sky if you want some amazing coffee. Just go to your local Starbucks. I don't have to tell you it tastes great.
There is a catch, though. Give me one second. I need you to put these headphones on.
And then Nolan, come over here. Alright, I need you to just scream really loudly in her ear so she can't hear me. [screaming at each other] Hey, how's it going?
-[screaming] -Keep screaming, Nolan. Keep it up. Starbucks sponsored this video, and we literally built a Starbucks in the sky.
And here's the thing, they also gave us a $50,000 gift card which is the biggest Starbucks card ever given away. If she finds it, she keeps it. If she doesn’t, you get the $50,000 gift card instead.
We're putting it right here in the back of the crate. She has no idea about the gift card. She knows nothing.
It's up to you if you want to tell her or not. Hey Nolan! Nolan, stop!
Stop! Stop! Alright, Alison.
Take it off. Look who we called! Oh my God!
How have you been? I'll tell you about it when I get out of here. But not well, really.
Not well. See, I've got one little thing that I need to tell you. Oh, God.
On this platform, there is a gift card to Starbucks worth $50,000. If you don't find it, I get it. No!
Well, it's a good thing you made this platform really small 'cause now it'll be easier. Could I have this iPad? [Alison] No!
Ah! Ok. Anyways, uh, have fun with your Starbucks.
Oh my goodness. There’s just not much places to look. I don't know where that thing can be.
I've been up here the whole time. Like, where could they've possibly hidden it? No way!
I just found it! [laughing] Sorry, Angus! The search started and it ended really quickly.
So, the gift card is mine. I'm genuinely so grateful and so excited. This is a game changer.
With Alison's newfound boost of caffeine, she's locked in and ready to snipe the next balloon. Honestly, by this point, I know what to expect. You really gotta watch the balloon and keep your eye on it the whole way up, because sometimes it does some tricky maneuvers on ya' and tries to get ya'.
Are you actually kidding me? That was horrible. That was actually horrible.
I feel like outta all the pieces I could choose, this has gotta be the best one. I mean, I would be lying if I said I wasn't upset. This is the first panel to go that actually is a little bit detrimental.
If I forget that that panel is gone, and I stand up and just step backwards… Oh, game over. These last few days are only going to get harder, especially if Alison keeps missing the balloon. Only three more days.
That's insane. I'mma stand right here until 9 AM. I know my shot's not great… but it's not that bad.
Hopefully my barista brings a coat. I warned him yesterday it gets cold up here. Oh!
[gasps] Oh, hell no! Oh, hell no! You guys got me good.
I wasn't even equipped! Why am I sitting there staring at it, without the bow? That was the first time I haven't shot an arrow at the balloon.
Sitting up here and holding the bow for hours staring at the balloon is mentally exhausting. I wish I was more confident in myself right now, but for some reason I'm thinking I'm not gonna hit this balloon. When I get outta here I feel like I'm gonna be so much more patient.
Oh shoot! Oh shoot! Oh shoot!
I'm throwing it. Yeah, with the amount of floor she's losing, she might literally fall off on Day 29. I had time to reload that.
[laughs] Ok, um… I don't… That's… And by this point, it really seemed like she was starting to lose it. I'm getting worse and worse as time goes on. I take back everything I said about Angus and him failing challenges.
'Cause I can't even shoot these balloons out of the air. That's the old me. The old me could do that.
The new me is struggling, so I'm no better than Angus at this point. I'm taking my own floor away. [sighs] I'm so glad that this is my last day having to stare at a balloon.
Alison was doing nothing but waiting for the balloon. Not only would missing again make the challenge even harder, but it's her only form of entertainment. Tomorrow I get to touch the ground, the earth.
I get to go inside. I get to go in a car. I can have yummy food.
Alison! Why's Jimmy here? -Wait, don't point your bow at me!
-[Alison] [laughing] Are you trying to kill me? Wow, you're really running outta space over here. After we release the final balloon, I have a little twist for you.
Dude, I knew you would. Hey, Nolan! Yeah?
Release the balloon! Is she gonna hit it? [Alison] No!
You know, the wind caught it. Now that you missed that, you won't be needing these anymore. Remember on Day 15 the balance beam that got Angus out?
Oh, yeah. I know… What if I told you, in exactly 24 hours-- Start the timer. I will be bringing that back.
And if you can make it across and back, I will double your prize pool. Dude, I knew you were gonna do this. But if you fall like Angus… [shouting] No!
You, too, will lose everything. I knew you were gonna do this! $250,000 guaranteed… Yeah.
or risk it on a balance beam, which keep in mind, you said looked easy, for half a million dollars! You know, I thought the stress was gonna be gone after that… Stress is back. -Yeah.
-And worse than before. I will see you tomorrow for the half a million dollar decision. [Nolan] There she goes.
[Barista] Woo! Ok, guys. My head is all over the place.
My ego is telling me I can do it. And that's the fastest I will ever make that much money in my life. I got a big day tomorrow.
A big challenge, a big decision. So I'm gonna go to bed now. Good night, guys.
Alison, open your eyes. Turn around. I brought a friend.
[exclaims] He's back! -Oh, what the heck? -Oh, man!
It's so good to see you! There's only enough room for one of us up here! Yeah, this is crazy!
Are you surprised to see me? I'm glad you're in red I wouldn't have recognized you. [laughing] I literally-- I've missed you so much.
Also, if you look over there. -That… -Yeah. is $250,000, that in the next 10 minutes, could be added to her prize pool.
Where's your head at? I'm gonna be honest, I really-- I don't know. All you have to do is walk across, grab that check, and walk back.
I know, and I hate that my ego tells me I could do it. Well you said when he fell-- Here, play the clip. I feel like I could get across.
That you could do it. I know I did. You said it was easy.
You made it look really hard though! It is really hard! I'm telling you, it's so hard.
But I don't want to tell you whether to do it or not, ok? No it's like a really big decision. You've come so, so far.
Am I allowed to stand on it? Yeah, of course, but I agree this is a massive decision, which is why I also brought your brothers out. -No!
Why would you do that? -Right over there! [cheering] You think she should cross this balance beam for a quarter of a million dollars?
Hey, if you think you got it, do it! Ok, let me stand on the beam. [Alison] Oh!
Oh, is she gonna do it? Ok, well when you do like that, you make it look easy! Oh!
I hate that I just did that! If you're gonna do it, you just gotta do it! Dude.
Could I have an almond latte, please? I hate that I think I can do it. Ok, bro, I wanna go.
I wanna go. You wanna do it? [sniffles] Why am I gonna cry?
Don't cry! Like, I believe in you, whatever you do, but you just gotta be open to the possibility that you're gonna fall. Jeez, I don't know!
In the 30 days up here, she's been through some highs and lows, I've never seen her cry once. You didn't even cry when I fell! How is this more sad?
[laughs] Oh, I hate this decision. Alison! We support whatever you choose!
From the start, I've been saying I wanted to do this challenge to the fullest extent, you know what I mean? -Yeah. -Mhmm.
And I feel like… me going home with something vs. nothing… would be the fullest extent. If I actually got on this beam and fell, and didn't go home with anything… I lost.
I lost. But imagine how cool you would be in front of the whole world! If you said, I'm doing it, and you did it.
And you went there and you came back. That would be the highest of all highs in the entire world! -That would be kinda cool.
-In front of everyone! Oh, I hate that I think I can do it. I wish I just looked at the beam, and I was like heck no.
Alison, I need a decision. Do you want to leave with a guaranteed 250,000, plus your $50,000 Starbucks gift card? Or do you want to risk it all to add an extra quarter of a million dollars to your prize pool?
It's literally doable! Nolan, grab the check. I got it.
If you tell him to drop that check, the deal will officially be off the table. Your 250,000 will fall, and you will be going home with that $250,000, your $50,000 Starbucks gift card, and not a penny more. What's your answer?
Nolan, you gotta drop the check! -You sure, what? -I'm sure.
Nolan, throw it! [Nolan] There it goes! [Jimmy] Alright.
There goes your quarter of a million dollars! Woo! Which means you officially won that quarter of a million dollars!
[screams] I'm glad you did it! [cheering] But I think we're all curious, would she have made it there and back? I hope I fall!
[laughs] Let's see if she does it. This is just for fun. If she does it, I'm not giving her anything minus the money she already won.
Oh, she's making this look easy. [Jimmy] Oh my gosh. Oh.
Oh. Ruh-roh! Stay steady.
I'm getting flashbacks. This is what threw Angus off! [screams] Oh-ho-ho!
I made such a good decision! I made such a-- She is so lucky she turned down my offer! Honestly, this is your sign to not let your ego get to you because it almost got me today, and that would've cost me a lot of money and I'd be up here crying right now, and it'd be really awkward.
But instead we're laughing 'cause I'm going home paid! And with that, Alison has won $250,000! [screams] Let's go!
Oh my God. Hey, if you haven't already, subscribe! This video was great.
