distant or abstract they're intimate personal and lifechanging today I will explore the life changing promises God has for you in Psalm 91 I am also going to pray a powerful prayer with you in the mighty name of Jesus so watch until the end and open your hearts to receive the blessings of this prayer Psalm 91 is a treasure Trove of divine Assurance a Psalm that has comforted Believers for Generations in verse one we read he who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty this verse sets

the stage for the amazing promises we're about to unpack it speaks of intimacy with God of finding refuge in his presence but what does it truly mean to dwell in this secret place how can we position ourselves to receive these promises these are some of the questions we'll be answering as we explore this powerful Psalm my friends God's word is alive and active sharper than any two-edged sword it has the power to penetrate our hearts to transform our minds and to reshape Our Lives as we explore Psalm 91 together I encourage you to open your

hearts to receive fresh Revelation allow God's promises is to take root in your spirit to strengthen your faith and to empower you for the journey ahead let us now consider three profound promises found in Psalm 91 that can revolutionize your walk with God number one the promise of divine protection my friends in a world where danger lurks around every corner where uncertainty seems to be the only constant God offers us an unshakable assurance of his protection this isn't just a comforting thought it's a rock solid promise from the creator of the heavens and the Earth

let's look at Psalm 91 verse4 which says he shall cover you with his feathers and under his wings you shall take refuge his truth shall be your Shield and buckler what a beautiful picture of God's protective care he doesn't just stand at a distance Watching Over Us he draws Us close covering us with his feathers Sheltering us under his wings this imagery speaks of intimacy of tender care of a love so deep it compels him to Shield us with his very self with his very presence but notice my dear friends that this promise comes with

a condition it's for those who dwell in the secret place of the most high as we read in verse one this secret place isn't a physical location but a spiritual position it's a place of intimate fellowship with God where we live in constant awareness of his presence it's a place where we settle into his love where we find our rest in his faithfulness when we dwell in this secret place we position ourselves to experience the fullness of God's protection now let's be clear this doesn't mean we'll never face difficulties or dangers but it does mean

that in the midst of Life storms we have a refuge that cannot be shaken think about the Apostle Paul who faced shipwrecks beatings and imprisonment yet in all these he experienced God's protecting hand in second Timothy 4 verse 18 Paul declares and the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for his Heavenly Kingdom this is the confidence we can have when we dwell in God's presence my friends God's protection isn't just a defense of Shield it's an offensive weapon against the forces of darkness in Psalm 91 verse 13 we read you

shall tread upon the lion and the Cobra the Young Lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot this verse speaks of victory over spiritual enemies over the schemes of the evil one when we're under God's protection we don't cower in fear we walk in bold confidence knowing that greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world but how do we access this Divine protection how do we make the secret place our dwelling it starts with a decision a decision to trust God completely to rely on him fully it's a choice

we make daily sometimes Moment by moment to turn our hearts toward him it involves spending time in his word letting his truth become our shield and buckler it means cultivating a life of prayer not just talking to God but listening for his voice it's about aligning our lives with his will Walking In obedience to his commands when we do this we create space for God to move powerfully in our lives we open the door for his protection to manifest intangible ways remember the story of Shadrach meach and Abednego in the fiery furnace these three young

men chose to trust God even in the face of certain death and what happened God showed up in the fire with them his protection was so complete that not even the smell of smoke clung to their clothes this my friends is the kind of protection that God promises to those who dwell in his presence it's not just about physical safety but spiritual preservation it's about keeping our hearts intact our faith unshaken Our Hope secure in Psalm 91:7 we read a thousand may fall at your side and 10,000 at your right hand but it shall not

come near you this verse isn't promising that we'll never see trouble or that others around us won't suffer but it is promising that even in the midst of widespread Calamity God can keep us safe he can preserve us for his purposes protect us for his glory this protection extends Beyond just ourselves when we dwell in God's presence it creat creates a sphere of protection around us that can impact others think of Paul and Silas in the Philippian jail their choice to praise God in their chains led to not only their Deliverance but the salvation of

the Jailer and his entire household our dwelling in God's presence can become a Channel of his protection for others my dear friends I want to encourage you today to make the secret place your home don't don't just visit God's presence occasionally live there continually let his protection become your reality his promises your daily bread no matter what you're facing no matter how dire your circumstances may seem God's protection is available to you he's inviting you into that secret place that place of intimate fellowship with him will you accept his invitation will you choose to dwell

in his presence to abide under his shadow as you do you'll find that his protection is more than enough for whatever you may face you'll discover a peace that surpasses understanding a confidence that overcomes fear you'll experience firsthand the truth of Psalm 91:2 I will say of the Lord he is my refuge and my Fortress my God in him I will trust number two the promise of divine presence my friends This Promise is not just about God being near but about him being actively involved in our lives it's about experiencing his companionship in a deep

personal way in Psalm 91 verse 15 we find this remarkable promise he shall call upon me and I will answer him I will be with him in trouble I will deliver him and honor him let's break this down and understand the depth of what God is offering us here first God promises to answer when we call upon him this isn't a vague hope but a confident Assurance when we cry out to God he hears us and he responds he's not distant or uninterested in our daily struggles he's a loving father attentive to the cries of

his children think about that for a moment the creator of the heavens and the Earth the King of Kings promises to answer when you call this is an open invitation to dialogue with the almighty but God's promise goes even further he says I will be with him in trouble my dear friends this is a game Cher God doesn't just respond from a distance he comes alongside us in our difficulties when we're walking through the valley of the shadow of death he is with us when we're facing trials that seem overwhelming he is there his presence

doesn't always change our circumstances but it always changes us it gives us strength to endure courage to persist hope to keep believing remember when Shadrach meak and the bedo were thrown into the fiery furnace the king saw a fourth figure walking with them God's presence was so tangible it was visible even to unbelieving eyes this is the kind of presence God promises us real tangible transformative but God's promise doesn't stop at being with us in trouble he goes on to say I will deliver him and honor him God's presence leads to deliverance and honor he

doesn't just Comfort us in our trials he brings us through them victoriously and not only that he honors us the god of the heavens and the Earth chooses to bestow Honor on us this honor isn't about world fame or recognition it's about being esteemed by God himself being seen as precious in His sight now you might be wondering how can I experience this divine presence in my life the key lies in the first part of the verse he shall call upon me experiencing God's presence starts with reaching out to him it begins with acknowledging our

need for him with inviting him into every aspect of Our Lives it's about cultivating a lifestyle of dependence on God this doesn't mean we become passive or inactive rather it means we learn to partner with God in everything we do we learn to listen for his voice to seek his guidance to rely on his strength in Psalm 91:9 we read because you have made the Lord who is my refuge even the most high your Dwelling Place making God our dwelling place means making him our home it means finding our security our identity our purpose in

him when we do this we position ourselves to experience the fullness of his presence my friends God's presence is not just a comforting thought it's a transformative reality in his presence fear gives way to peace anxiety is replaced by trust weakness is transformed into strength think about Moses who said to God in Exodus 33:15 if your presence does not go with us do not bring us up from here Moses understood that God's presence was more valuable than any Promised Land he knew that without God's presence even success ESS would be empty with God's presence even

the Wilderness becomes a place of provision and growth the same is true for us today when we learn to live in God's presence every place becomes Holy Ground every moment becomes an opportunity to experience his love and power every challenge becomes a chance to see his faithfulness in action but experiencing God's presence isn't just about feeling good or finding Comfort it's about being equipped and empowered for his purposes In God's Presence we find direction for our lives we receive wisdom for our decisions we gain strength for our tasks in Psalm 16:1 David writes you will

with God and number three the promise of Divine Purpose my friends This Promise assures us that God not only protects us and stays with us but he also has a plan for our lives in Psalm 91:14 we read because he has set his love upon me therefore I will deliver him I will set him on high because he has known my name this verse reveals God's response to our love and devotion he promises to deliver us and set us on high but what does it mean to be set on high it's more than just elevation

or status it's about being positioned for purpose placed where we can fulfill God's plan for our lives when we set our love upon God he lifts us above our circumstances he gives us A New Perspective a higher vantage point from which to view life from this position we can see beyond our immediate struggles we can Glimpse the bigger picture of what God is doing in and through us this promise of purpose is not just for a select few it's for everyone who chooses to love God and know his name knowing God's name in biblical terms

means understanding his character his ways his heart as we grow in our knowledge of who God is we grow in our understanding of who we are in him we begin to see ourselves as he sees us not defined by our past or limited by our weaknesses but empowered by his strength and guided by his wisdom in Jeremiah 29:1 God declares for I know the thoughts that I think toward you says the Lord thoughts of peace peace and not of evil to give you a future and a hope God has good plans for each of us

he has a future filled with hope a purpose that brings fulfillment and joy but how do we discover this Divine Purpose it starts with setting our love upon God as Psalm 91 says this means making him our highest priority our greatest desire it means aligning our will with his seeking his kingdom Above All Else as we do this God begins to reveal his purpose for our lives he opens doors of opportunity guides us through his word and his Spirit he places Desires in our hearts that align with his will remember the story of Esther she

found herself in a position of influence for such a time as this as mentioned in the Bible God had placed her there for a specific purpose to save her people like Esther each of us has been placed where we are for a reason God wants to use us right where we are with the gifts and abilities he's given us his purpose for us isn't just about what we do but who we become it's about being transformed into the image of Christ reflecting his love and grace to the world around us in Romans 8 verse 28

we're reminded and we know that all things work together for good to those who love God to those who are called according to his purpose God's purpose prevails Even in our struggles and setbacks he uses everything our successes and failures our Joys and Sorrows to shape us and prepare us for his plans my friends embracing God's purpose for your life brings a deep sense of meaning and fulfillment it gives direction to your days and hope for your future it empowers you to face challenges with courage knowing that God is working all things for your good
