there is a greater power and gratitude than most people realize the ability to recognize and appreciate blessings is a key that unlocks the doors of joy peace and divine favor a heart filled with gratitude does not dwell on what is missing but magnifies what God has already done when you count your blessings you shift your focus from burdens to breakthroughs from Pain to purpose and from lack to abundance the enemy wants you to believe that you are without help but the truth is you are surrounded by the goodness of God Every Breath You Take is

a testament to his Mercy every step you walk is evidence of his sustaining power every battle you have survived is proof of his unfailing love the word of God reminds us Psalm 68 verse 19 blessed be the Lord who daily loads us with Benefits the god of our Salvation God is not a distant observer in your life he is an everpresent help constantly pouring out blessings even in ways you may not yet recognize today I will reveal to you the power of recognizing God's goodness the dangers of an ungrateful heart and how to develop a

mindset that sees the richness of His blessings even in difficult Seasons I'm also going to pray a powerful prayer with you in the mighty name of Jesus so watch until the end and open your hearts to receive the blessings of this prayer now let us explore the power of recognizing God's goodness my friends gratitude is a for that shifts your perspective from what is missing to what is abundant a grateful heart does not dwell in sorrow but rises in Victory even when challenges arise the ability to recognize God's goodness is not just about saying thank

you for the obvious blessings it is about seeing his hand in everything even in places where others see nothing it is about understanding that you are not forsaken not forgotten and certainly not empty-handed God is working in ways that you may not immediately see but his blessings are present surrounding you at all times there is power in opening your eyes to the blessings that are already in your life many people live in constant pursuit of something more believing that Joy is found in the next achievement the next possession or the next break through they pray

for what they lack but rarely acknowledge what they have already received this way of thinking creates a blindness to the Daily mercies of God but those who choose to Count Their Blessings unlock a deeper dimension of faith and peace one powerful example of this is seen in the life of King jehu's wife jehos sheiba as recorded in 2 Kings 11 verses 1 to3 when aalia sought to destroy the royal family jehos sheiba saw what others overlooked an opportunity to preserve the seed of David she took joash a young boy with no power No Authority and

no apparent future and hid him in the house of the Lord for six years to many he was just a helpless child but jehos sheiba recognized the blessing in what seemed insignificant she counted what God had provided and acted upon it because of her ability to perceive Beyond destruction she became a vessel of divine preservation God used her to keep his Covenant alive how many times have you dismissed something in your life because it seemed small or insignificant how many times have you looked at what you have and thought this is not enough what if

the very thing you overlook is the key to your breakthrough what if the blessing you fail to count is the answer to your prayers jehosheba saw a blessing in the midst of chaos and because of her recognition of God's provision an entire dynasty was preserved in Psalm 34:8 the word of God declares oh taste and see that the Lord is good blessed is the man who trusts in him the goodness of God is not just something to hear about it is something to experience but you cannot experience what you refuse to acknowledge if you do

not count your blessings you will live as though you have none you will walk around with the weight of burdens that were never meant to Define you you will spend your days longing for what is next instead of rejoicing in what is now but when you open your eyes to the goodness of God your life transforms gratitude is the language of faith it is the Declaration that God has already been good that he is still good and that he will continue to be good faith does not only speak about future blessings it Praises God for

what is already present many people ask God for more but have not learned to appreciate what they already have in Luke 16:10 Jesus teaches he who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much if you fail to acknowledge small blessings you will never be able to handle greater ones God Is Watching how you respond to what he has already given counting your blessings does not mean denying difficulties it does not mean pretending that challenges do not exist it means choosing to magnify God's faithfulness above life's troubles it means shifting your focus from

what is missing to what is abundant it means recognizing that even in your struggles you are still standing because God has sustained you the breath in your lungs is proof of his Mercy the fact that you woke up this morning is a testimony of his grace you are not forsaken you are not forgotten God's blessings are surrounding you even when you do not see them a thankful heart produces joy and joy is a weapon against the enemy the devil wants to keep you focused on what is wrong what is delayed and what is uncertain but

when you begin to count count your blessings you silence his lies you declare that God is greater than your circumstances you refuse to live in complain and choose to walk in Praise this is why first Thessalonians 5:18 instructs in everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you Thanksgiving is not just an act it is a position of the heart it is a lifestyle that places God at Center of your perspective it is a way of living that acknowledges his goodness at all times many people wait until they receive

something extraordinary to give thanks but the truth is every moment is filled with the extraordinary mercies of God every answered prayer every open door every provision these are all reminders that he is with you even the moments that seem small are Divine appointments of Grace God is working even when you cannot see it he is blessing you even when you do not feel it your responsibility is to recognize his goodness and respond with gratitude if you start counting your blessings your joy will increase your faith will rise your spirit will be strengthened your perspective will

shift from burdens to breakthroughs what you magnify will determine the condition of your heart will you magnify the struggles or will you magnify the Savior will you dwell on what is missing or will you rejoice in what is present if you choose gratitude you will see the goodness of God in ways you never imagined let us now focus on the dangers of an ungrateful heart my friends an ungrateful heart is a doorway to spiritual blindness it distorts perception and makes even the most blessed person feel as if they have nothing it is not a lack

of blessings that makes people miserable it is the failure to acknowledge them in other words you don't need more to be thankful you just need to be more thankful the enemy knows that as long as you remain blind to what God has already done you will live in discouragement ungratefulness does not just steal Joy it robs people of the ability to trust God for greater things it makes them focus on what is lacking rather than what is present leading them into bitterness frustration and despair one of the clearest examples of this is seen in the

story of the people of jabesh gillad in 1 Samuel 11: 1:3 when Nash the ammonite came against them they were so focused on their weakness that they were willing to surrender without a fight they did not consider the past victories that God had given their Nation they did not seek the Lord's help they did not count the strength that still remained among them instead they accepted defeat before the battle even began their lack of gratitude made them blind to the power of God that was still available to deliver them ungratefulness limits the ability to see

Solutions it paralyzes faith and makes small problems feel insurmountable the people of jabes gilled had a covenant keep keeping God but they acted as if they were abandoned they had access to Divine help yet they were ready to live under oppression this is what happens when a person stops counting Their Blessings they start believing that their struggles are bigger than their savior they give up on prayers that have already been answered simply because they fail to see the blessings right in front of them in Deuteronomy 28:47 the lord gave a warning because you did not

serve the Lord your God with joy and gladness of heart for the abundance of everything therefore you shall serve your enemies God desires gratitude not because he needs validation but because it keeps your heart aligned with his will ungratefulness opens the door to unnecessary struggles it leads people to chase after things that cannot satisfy always searching but never finding peace a person who refuses to acknowledge what God has done will never be satisfied no matter how much they receive they will continue to live in lack even while surrounded by abundance gratitude is not just about

thanking God when everything is perfect it is about recognizing his presence in every situation it is about trusting that even in Trials he is still working all things together for your good when a person allows un gratefulness to take root in their heart they begin to speak words of doubt they begin to complain rather than praise they focus on what is not happening instead of what God is already doing and in doing so they close the door to Greater blessings the Israelites in the wilderness provide another example of how lack of gratitude affects Destiny though

they had been delivered from from Egypt and witnessed the miraculous power of God they constantly murmured about what they lacked rather than focusing on the freedom they had received they longed for the Comforts of their past bondage in numbers 11 verse 6 they lamented but now our whole being is dried up there is nothing at all except this Mana before our eyes God had supernaturally provided food for them daily yet they despised his provision instead of rejoicing in what they had they complained about what they did not have because of their ungrateful Hearts they wandered

in the wilderness for 40 years instead of stepping into the promised land ungratefulness will always prolong a season of struggle it keeps people in a cycle of frustration because it blinds them to the opportunities God has already placed before them it stops them from stepping into Their Blessings because they fail to see the Miracles unfolding in real time many people pray for God to change their circumstances when in reality their circumstances would change if they simply started recognizing what God has already given they ask for greater things while dismissing the smaller gifts that are already

in their hands when Jesus fed the 5,000 he did not start with a feast he started with a few Loaves and fish yet before he multiplied them he did something important in John 6:1 it says and Jesus Took the Loaves and when he had given thanks he distributed them to the disciples Jesus gave thanks before the miracle he did not wait for the abundance to appear before he acknowledged the blessing he saw value in what was present before it became more if you want to see increase in your life start thanking God for what you

already have gratitude activates multiplication in other words gratitude in the seed for more ungratefulness on the other hand repels favor it causes people to live beneath their potential because they do not recognize the Divine resources already available to them it keeps them Bound in negative thinking making them believe they have nothing when in reality they are already walking in God's provision a grateful person sees possibilities where others see impossibilities they walk in faith rather than fear they move forward rather than surrender when you acknowledge what God has done you open yourself up to receive even

more God is still blessing you even now if you are breathing he has given you another opportunity if you can still pray he has given you access to his presence if you have survived he has sustained you for a reason do not allow an ungrateful heart to rob you of your joy do not allow blindness to steal what God has already provided choose to see choose to recognize and choose to give thanks and let us now turn our attention to cultivating a grateful heart in every season my friends gratitude is not meant to be seasonal

or dependent on circumstances it is a condition of the heart that must remain steadfast whether in abundance or lack in Joy or sorrow a grateful heart is not one that denies hardships but one that refuses to let hardships Define its perspective it sees beyond the present Challenge and acknowledges the unchanging goodness of God a person who cultivates gratitude in every season will walk in Greater peace greater faith and greater revelation of God's power many people only give thanks when life is going well but true gratitude is tested in difficult times in habakuk 3: 17 to

18 the prophet declared though the Fig Tree may not blossom nor fruit beyond the vines though the labor of the olive May Fail and the fields yield no food though the flock may be cut off from the folden and there be no herd in the Stalls yet I will rejoice in the Lord I will joy in the god of my salvation habakuk understood something powerful gratitude is not built on what is seen But on who God is even when resources were scarce even when there was no visible provision he chose to praise God this is

the kind of gratitude that sustains a person through every storm cultivating a grateful heart begins with training the mind to focus on what is true many people allow their emotions to dictate the perspective but emotions are unreliable they shift with circumstances making a person feel blessed one day and abandon the next but when the mind is renewed by the word of God gratitude becomes a firm foundation Philippians 4:8 gives this wisdom whatever things are true whatever things are noble whatever things are just whatever things are pure whatever things are lovely whatever things are of good

report if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy meditate on these things when your mind is fixed on what is good gratitude flows naturally it becomes a way of thinking not just an occasional reaction another key to maintaining gratitude is remembering past victories many times discouragement arises because people forget what God has already done they face A new challenge and act as if they have never seen his power before yet throughout scripture God constantly reminded his people to remember in 1 Samuel 7:12 after a great Victory Samuel set up a stone and

named it Ebenezer saying thus far the Lord has helped us this was not just a monument it was a testimony it was a reminder that God had been faithful before and would be faithful again when you take time to reflect on past blessings your heart is strengthened in present trials gratitude also requires contentment many people struggle to be thankful because they are always chasing after what is next they are waiting for a bigger breakthrough before they appreciate the one that they just received but contentment does not mean settling it means recognizing that what God has

given in this moment is enough in 1 Timothy 6: six Paul writes now godliness with contentment is great gain a person who is content is not controlled by comparison they do not look at what others have and feel deprived they do not resent someone else's blessing because they know that God's provision for them is always perfect in its timing another powerful way to cultivate gratitude is through worship worship shifts the atmosphere of the heart it takes the focus off problems and places it on the greatness of God when Paul and Silas were imprisoned they could

have complained but instead they worshiped acts 16:25 tells us but at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God and the prisoners were listening to them their worship did not change their circumstance ances immediately but it changed the environment around them their gratitude and suffering became a testimony that led to a miracle gratitude is not only about recognizing blessings it is also about being a blessing to others a person with a thankful heart naturally becomes generous they see what they have and seek ways to share it in 2 Corinthians 9:1 it is

written while you are enriched in everything for all liberality which causes Thanksgiving through us to God when you give out of gratitude you create a cycle of blessings your Thanksgiving overflows into the lives of others leading them to glorify God a person who hoardes what they have leaves in fear of loss but one who gives freely walks in the abundance of Grace also gratitude requires humility many people struggle with thankfulness because they believe they are self-made they forget that every good thing in their lives has come from God James 1 ver1 17 reminds us every

good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of Lights with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning the more you recognize that God is the source of all blessings the easier it becomes to walk in gratitude humility allows you to see that nothing is owed to you but everything is given by Grace it removes pride and replaces it with Thanksgiving if you desire to cultivate a grateful heart it must be intentional it will not happen by accident you must train yourself to recognize blessings discipline your mind

to think on what is good and choose worship over worry you must remember past victories walk in contentment and extend gratitude through generosity most importantly you must remain humble before God knowing that all you have is because of him when you live with gratitude your life will be transformed you will experience joy that is not dependent on circumstances you will walk in faith that is strengthened by remembrance you will find peace in the assurance that God is always providing gratitude is not just an action it is a way of life now to all those within

the sound of mind my voice let us go to the Lord in prayer I want you to pray this prayer with me or listen to this prayer in faith so that you can have all the blessings of this prayer let us pray to our gracious and loving God Heavenly Father Mighty and glorious God you reign in majesty and your power has no limits you are The Giver of all good things the one who loads me daily with benefits and the Everlasting source of my joy I thank you Lord for every blessing that surrounds me both

seen and unseen I am grateful for your mercy that has sustained me and for your unfailing love that never ceases forgive me Lord for the times I have sinned against you for the times that I have overlooked your blessings and for the moments I allowed complaint to take the place of gratitude I also forgive those who have wronged me just as you have forgiven me Lord I reject the spiritual blindness that causes me to focus on what I lack instead of what you have already provided and I decree and declare that my eyes are open

to see the abundance of your goodness in my life in the name of Jesus I rebuke uke every Spirit of discouragement Every Lie of the enemy that tries to convince me that I have nothing to be grateful for Lord I choose today to recognize and count my blessings not only in times of Plenty but in every season I refuse to surrender to despair even when things seem uncertain for I know that you are my provider my sustainer and my refuge I will not give in to fear for I know that you hold my future securely

in your hands I declare that my heart is full of Thanksgiving and I will praise you at all times pour out your blessings upon me Lord and let your favor rest upon my life heal every place of Brokenness and sickness both in my body and in my spirit deliver me from the traps of the enemy from attacks against my mind my finances my relationships and my purpose Lord I ask that you cancel every assignment of Darkness that seeks to rob me of peace and joy protect me and my loved ones under the covering of your

Mighty hand let no weapon formed against us prosper and let every scheme of the enemy be destroyed in the name of Jesus Lord as I say this prayer together with everyone listening I am grateful for every heart that is opening before you right now we stand in agreement lifting up each other and praying that you would fill our hearts with gratitude we reject complaining Spirits we refuse to be blinded by what we do not have and we declare that we will magnify your name above of every circumstance Lord let your Holy Spirit lead us into

a deeper revelation of your goodness Empower us to walk in Joy To Remember past victories and to trust you with all that is to come in the name of Jesus we claim victory over discouragement over fear and over anything that tries to steal our gratitude we declare healing over our minds our emotions and our bodies we speak life into every situation knowing that you are the source of all things for yours is the kingdom the power and the glory forever and ever thank you Lord for hearing and answering my prayer in the mighty name of
