thrall the hero vanquishes the demon king after years of bitter struggle now the world will know peace instead of pain or so he thought Raul is tied to a cross in preparation for being burned the Princess Victoria tells him that now that the Demon King has been defeated the only threat to the royal family is him this could have all been avoided had he not rejected her advances a crowd calls for his immediate execution raw laughs maniacally as he is systematically hacked to death by an executioner while dogs are loose to feed on his slowly

dying corpse with his dying breath Raul swears revenge on them all and not in a pretty way he'll burn kill and rip apart every single last one of them traitors a lot of them Raul returns to White world the place where he originally started when he was first reborn into this world the goddess of love is there to welcome him back with compassion Rawl has had enough of love he smacks her like it's the 1950s and he asks her how it felt watching him die in vain the goddess offers to give raw strength and he

tells her that if her regret and love for him are real then she should resurrect him so that he may lay waste to the world that betrayed him this is a Revenge story for the ages a year later in a kingdom of kers Victoria fully dressed in her ceremonial garve prepares to meet her husband-to-be IMO her ladies in Waiting do their best to praise and adore her while a few boasts that the dress they have prepared for her is the finest in the land tailor-made for the occasion it suffices to say that Victoria is displeased

and she viciously smacks one of her Maids with a whip she is unsatisfied with the dress and she demands that a more suitable one be picked out for her at once the maids frantically try to explain that emo himself was the one who picked out the dress today for the sake of her wedding but she doesn't care she just wants them to find a different dress and while they're at it she orders them to clean up the bloodied body of the maid she just whipped Sandra the captain of the royal guards uses that this is

a bad Omen for the princess departure a month ago soldiers protecting the kingdom Gates were discovered to be all dead it was a clear day yet they all die died under mysterious circumstances there was nothing but a pool of their blood and a large pool of water his Royal order of chivalry has been working tirelessly to find the culprit but they haven't found any leads Sandra bows down and respectfully calls out to Victoria and her breath is taken away by her beauty she reminds herself to be careful in her conduct while talking to her Sandra

respectfully asks her to reconsider holding a parade while they have yet to resolve the incident from a month ago Victoria sees that she has a point but she reminds her that if any harm befalls her she will make sure to eradicate her entire order in Revenge Sandra tries to change her mind pointing out that several of their strongest Gatekeepers have been killed furthermore leaders Barons and influential people around the country have been dying one by one to some strange disease Victoria couldn't care less if some random old men died she fails to see how any

of this affects her Sandra tells her how this affects her all of them kept repeating the same words on their deathbeds bless her highness the Princess Victoria doesn't see see how creepy that is and she is instead flattered by their loyalty the recent herders and mysterious plague happening at the same time greatly troubled Sandra and she asks that Victoria at least postponed the parade until the culprits for the murders are captured Victoria doesn't see the need to given that both the demon king and the despised hero are dead besides regardless of whatever dangers are present

during the parade she has plenty of shields referring to the guards and the general populace Sandra is repulsed by how cruel she is but at the same time she is beautiful so she gets a free pass as if spurred on by some form of charming mind control Sandra swears to be her Shield the parade is held without delay Victoria and emo wave to the adoring crowd this is what Victoria has been waiting for the cheers and cries of her fans this overwhelming support they are practically enthralled by her Emil can't help but be impressed by

the display of support Victoria reminds him that they're here for her not him though she has no complaints about Emil's social status as the son of a prince she has plenty to complain about about his mindless droning and Chatterbox of a mouth she prepares herself to listen to him talk nonsense from now on however this is all a trivial thing in the face of her ambition to Bear a child and install him on the throne where she can eventually seize power over the entire country Amel is simply a favorable Pawn in all this he has

the pedigree stupidity and looks perfect for manipulating a Young Ruler she'd be bothered if her son turned out to be ugly she'd have to kill it all IMO has to offer is his good looks and if good looks for all Victoria cared about she'd prefer the hero to him too bad she had him executed Raul first came to the kingdom of curse a few years ago wishing nothing more than to defeat the demon king and bring peace to the world he was a simple kind-hearted and foolish man despite this he held a powerful gaze even

someone as notoriously arrogant as Victoria couldn't help but be fixated on them but for a different reason she desperately wanted to ruin those honest eyes of his raw was her favorite plaything and she found that it was a waste that he died so quickly so suddenly and so unceremoniously she wonders why a wonderful man like him turned her down maybe it's because he knew you were a psycho Victoria and Emil approached the Altar for their ceremony while the Royal order of chivalry led by Sandra guards them on all sides a few townspeople asked Victoria to

look her way and she decides that she can spare her precious Shields a glance Victoria merely looks at them and they are sent into Euphoria thunderous Applause follows and Victoria basks in it this world is well and truly hers she will seize everything everything will be hers the priests begin the marriage ceremony and they begin saying the words that Victoria has been waiting for her whole life words that shall bless her and her marriage as the ceremony continues she eagerly waits for her Glory Days to begin not if for all has anything to say about

it when the priests say bless her highness the princess she suddenly remembers Sandra's warnings from earlier one by one the priests begin exploding into a gruesome pool of blood this is no mere coincidence a man removes his hood Victoria remembers it all too well jet black hair and red eyes that look like they could burn right through you it is the hero Rawl Victoria swears that she saw him die and Raul says that he has been resurrected from the depths of Hell itself to get revenge on them all he is no longer a hero in

a flashback the goddess of love begs Raul to punish and scold her more for refusing to help him Raul stares at her with a look of disdain and disgust she is truly off her rocker Raul used to have dreams of becoming a savior and bringing peace to the world but none of that matters anymore the goddess has become strangely dependent and has begun blindly supporting Raul no matter his selfish desires Rawl ass serve the gods decreed that he would end up being killed and punished like this but the goddess swears that they did not intend

for his execution to happen she personally finds it despicable that the humans would kill their one and only savior Rawl grabs her face and reminds her that this is the true nature of the humans that she wanted to save the goddess admits that she made an error in judgment and and she swears that she will no longer bring them salvation he asks her if she still loves the barbaric humans and she replies that the only person she loves is him and him alone the goddess is enamored by Raul's strong-willed eyes his Fearless gaze and an

unimaginable power that would let him control the world if he saw fit Ron uses that the goddess would make a fine Pawn he demands that she resurrect him and help him wipe out all those who betrayed him but she hesitates a spirit that has died once can no longer be returned to the Earth especially one with an existence like Rawls furthermore any goddess who attempts this heinous taboo will have their powers and positions revoked Raul doesn't give a rat's Bass about these rules and he gaslights her into doing them anyway left with no choice and

blinded by her love and affection for raw the goddess for lens raw will use any tool at his disposal to attain his revenge he certainly didn't expect the goddess to be so reluctant to lend her Aid he tells the Goddess that he wants the other power that she has sealed away but this is one thing the goddess refuses to do if she does this then the power of Darkness will eat away at raw and his very soul will be consumed Raul can't believe his ears after all that he's gone through the goddess is still trying

to dissuade him she tries to convince him to abandon his mission of Revenge and to live here peacefully with her but Rawl flips everything on its head he tells the Goddess that if he remained here he'd only be watching them suffer he reasons that he is the savior and he is meant to save the world even if it means cleansing it completely of Filth raw will Purge this world in the name of saving it the goddess nearly soils herself after witnessing raw like this and she pledges her undeen support Rawl smirks this goddess is truly

insane Rawl tells the goddess to Grant his wish and she does so with Glee she wraps her arms around raw and kisses him deeply which unlocks the power that has been laying dormant inside him for so long this is his original Power which is unlike anything the world has ever seen the only thing left is for the goddess to revive raw though she is sad to see him go she returns him to the Earth and she imparts to him the goddess blessing she tells him to go forth and begin his new Legend the goddess may

have done something profoundly wrong and irreparable she has Unleashed on the world a new Scourge raw will not rest until he has purged the world Raul approaches the capital of kurs and a few guards order him to Halt and turn around as the princess wedding reception is being held in a month without warning raw impales them on dozens of stakes Raul is offended by such an unwelcoming greeting but he learned of something rather delicious Victoria's wedding is being held in a month's time the ceremony will be to die for a month has passed since Raul

first returned from death and his plan is in full swing he has been waiting patiently for this day when Victoria realizes that she has been splattered with blood she has a panic attack Raul can't help but laugh that Victoria is referring to the blood as filthy he expected nothing less from her Sandra immediately puts herself between her and raw and she charges raw with the crime of killing messengers of God when she sees rawl's face she claims that he isn't Raw but a demon that has stolen his face raw raises an eyebrow upon hearing Sandra

called the priests messengers of God he points out that these clergymen have robbed conspired and tortured people for their own selfish needs he asks Sandra if she is aware of just how many people have died under the care of these so-called messengers of God Victoria demands that he reveal his true form but Raul says that this is his true form Victoria still can't believe it he should be dead Rawl is getting tired of this conversation and so am I it's going nowhere if she won't believe his words he'll just have to prove it he pulls

her by her hair so she can get a closer look at him and Sandra orders her chivalric order to apprehend him Raul sneers at the Knights their little letter openers won't be able to harm him much less be within an inch of him using a single magic spell raw kills them all except Sandra when the townspeople realize that raw cannot be stopped they enter a frenzy and they frantically try to escape the square Rawl finds it hilarious that they all begun fighting amongst themselves even when there is no hour to go he calls everyone's attention

to stop moving and look his way strangely all of them are compelled to obey him the crowd stands still Rawl slams his foot on the ground and he invites everyone to attend an exclusive rare spectacle starring Princess Victoria herself Raul knows that they just love watching things like this since they were all kind enough to attend his execution the townspeople frightfully ask if he plans to kill them next reasoning that they have nothing to do with Victoria Raul starts laughing suddenly Victoria snaps at the townspeople to remain calm and quiet she asserts that she does

not fear this monster posing as the hero and neither should they the crowd descends into murmuring and bickering over what to do next Rawl is getting really tired of being called a monster he pulls on Victoria's hair again and repeats that he has been reborn Victoria orders Sandra to hurry up and kill Raul but Sandra explains that her legs have been frozen in place and she cannot move Victoria doesn't care she expects her to cut her legs off if that means that she will be able to say safer Raul doesn't appreciate his carefully crafted plan

being detailed like this and he tells Sandra to shut up he knows Sandra to be an upstanding and pure female Knight but he knows all about her true form he drags Sandra away so they can begin their show in Earnest he announces that soon the curtain will be raised when emo hears these words he soils himself Raul remarks that since this parade was for their marriage it is fitting that Emil join in it will be a beautiful do it between a loving couple Raul uses magic to dragon all toward Victoria where in a panic he

Embraces her and he starts betting for his mom to come and save him Victoria is embarrassed to be breeding the same air as him Raul can't help but laugh he didn't know that emo was this pathetic of a man raw forces emul to hold Victoria in place while he continues to cry out for his mom Sandra demands that raw release the princess at once if it were that easy there wouldn't be any villains in the world Raul remarks that all the actors for his spectacle are here but he has a little problem he asks why

Victoria isn't wearing a white dress address even though this was their marriage announcement the color of blood wouldn't look good on her dress he rips her clothes to shreds revealing her bare body to the general public she screeches and even though many of the men in the crowd are fearing for their lies they spare a glance at the bare form of their beloved Princess Victoria asks what raw plans to do to her and he scoffs he remarks that Victoria wanted children so he's going to fulfill that dream for her it's time for the main event

Victoria gets a nasty feeling in her stomach it's clear what raw plans to do and it's not something I can say on a family-friendly website Victoria orders him to stop this at once warning him what will happen if he touches her immaculately pure body Rawl doesn't take her seriously and Victoria continues to act as though she were still in control of the situation she still tries to get Raul to kneel which is hilarious Sandra demands that raw release Victoria as taking a hostage is a cowardly thing to do Raul scoffs why is Sandra fixated on

things like honor when they use completely non-honorable methods to capture him Raw all reminds her of how they captured him to begin with in a flashback to before the Demon King was subjugated raw and his party wake up in the village of Macaulay which has been kind enough to house them after breakfast they pack up and prepare to leave and the villagers are sad to see them go but alas the hero's job is never done one of the village children brings him a loaf of rye bread for the road and he asks Raul to come

back and play with them once he defeats the Demon King Raul promises him a few months later Sandra reports that Raul has defeated the Demon King Victoria orders Raul to be captured immediately and to search McCauley Village Sandra asks if they're taking the villagers hostage but Victoria tells her to kill them all as brutally as possible all the women and children too and as the cherry on top she wants all their limited edition toys to be taken out of their boxes Victoria sips her tea and she wonders what kind of face raw will make when

he sees the Carnage unfold when Raul arrives at Macaulay Village he sees that all the villagers including the women and children have been impaled on Stakes he is horrified by what he sees before he can try and process what happened the Royal Guards led by Sandra apprehend him back in the present Raul asks Sandra if she noticed that he killed her precious guards the same way she murdered the villagers Sandra defends herself by claiming that she was only following the orders of the princess and therefore did not commit any crime Sandra believes that it is

right to commit a massacre that means attaining Justice Victoria realizes too late what is happening and she fails to stop Sandra in time Sandra loudly proclaims that Victoria's orders are absolute and all other lies pale in comparison she remarks that the villagers were likely happy to die for their princess when Sandra realizes that her voice is unnaturally loud Rawl reveals that he Amplified her voice with a bit of Magic the entire public now knows about the princess's crimes the townspeople begin murmuring amongst themselves they were told that the massacre of Macaulay was the handiwork of

Raul public opinion begins to rapidly turn against Victoria Victoria angrily Howl's Sandra's name and Sandra begs for forgiveness Rawl decides to have a little bit more fun with a snap of his fingers to compels Sandra to punch Victoria in the face Sandra had no control over her body Victoria's beautiful face is ruined as her nose is broken and a few of her teeth have been knocked out Sandra tries to explain that her body moved on its own all while Rawl loses it in the background this is the funniest thing he's ever seen even funnier than

that guy who turned himself into a pickle he compels Sandra to repeatedly punch Victoria over and over again Force an emo to watch his bride being beaten to a pulp Victoria's face is left a swollen mess but her spirit remains intact and defiant she remarks that only her face has been made a mess and nothing else those are famous last words if I've ever heard them Rawl realizes that she makes a good point but now he decides to move on to the final he'll have Victoria a ton for killing his older sister in another flashback

before Rawl defeated the Demon King Raul visited his pregnant sister praying at a church and he was concerned that she might tiring herself out his sister tells him not to worry so much since the church was built by a saint who funded it using Spoils of War raw playfully finishes her sentence it is plain to see that they care very deeply for each other and rawl's status as a hero has done nothing to diminish their relationship Rawl prepares to leave for his adventure and he gives his sister her husband and her unborn child the Fawn

farewell the next time they meet her child will probably already be born his sister and her husband see him off and they pray for God to protect him always fast forward a few months and raw has been framed for massacreing the entirety of Macaulay Village he has brought in Chains and presented to Victoria who taunts that he was so pitifully easy to catch Rawl demands to know for what crime he is charged with and Victoria replies that his crime is existing she and the royal family only needed his strength to defeat the demon king and

now that the Demon King has been defeated she no longer has any use for him he has become trash and trash is made to be thrown out Raul demands to know why she had the Village burn turned but Victoria pretends to be innocent she remarks that all that was his doing she inches closer to raw and offers to make all these crimes go away if he agrees to marry her since she doesn't at all dislike his intense gaze Rawl spits blood in her face Victoria snaps she wants to defile him even more she has him

taken away to watch a rather intimate show Raul is brought to a church and the stench of blood permeates the air she has raw raised his head and he is horrified to see his pregnant sister impaled with the Kingdom's Royal swords back in the present Raul hastily Begins the final he will have her atone for her sins we're all casts a spell deep inside her stomach and he is careful not to kill her he wants her to experience just the right amount of pain not enough to kill her but just enough to make her wish

that he had he clenches his fist and something pops inside Victoria he remarks that her trichury has been extinguished Victoria cries out in agony and she wretches and rides and spits out blood Rawl has Emil release his grip and Victoria Falls into a pool of her own blood Victoria is experiencing an unimaginable pain in her stomach Rawl tells her not to scream so loud unless she wants to die from excessive bleeding he uses magic to stop the bleeding not out of the goodness of his heart but because it'd be boring if she died too quickly

he asks her if the pain has subsided but Victoria uses the opportunity to go on a violent tirade and thrall she considers him nothing more than a pawn she was using to further her own Ambitions so she demands to know why things ended up this way raw who was twisted in the head himself calls Victoria Twisted in the head all he is doing is making her pay for her misdeeds he's just copying what they did raw turns around to the Frozen guards and tells them to rejoice as they will also have their turn to die

of miserable death Rawl is Satisfied by the performance and he snaps his fingers again releasing everyone from his freezing spell immediately Victoria orders her guards to kill raw Rawl is genuinely impressed that she still has the energy to shout like that the guards are unsure of what to do but they ultimately decide to fight for Victoria they run their swords through raw seemingly killing him Victoria begins laughing maniacally remarking that Raul has gotten his just desserts for opposing her she screams at him to repent but Raul has done enough repenting he sighs how many times

does he have to teach Victoria this lesson he the hero will not die to some letter openers Victoria's face contorts into Panic again and raw nonchalantly removes the swords from his body he tells Victoria that he'll be back once her face has returned to its normal State he menacingly lifts her face with the bloodied sword and he drops it he starts walking away from the Town Square but he remembers something he congratulates Victoria on her wedding and with a bow he says bless her highness the princess Raul returns to the church where his sister was

killed and he lays down in bouquet of flowers in her memory as he walks away he glances at an overweight man and he is disgusted by what he sees he steps outside stretches out his hands and burns the church to the ground this is his resolve he will not turn here a second time as the fire rages on Rawl sees a vision of his sister he laughs he didn't know that he of all people could see ghosts he excitedly tells his sister of his recent exploits and the precarious state that the capital is in because

Victoria's crimes have come to light many are on the brink of open Rebellion on the other hand those who still believe in the princess are being hunted down like animals several of the country's best healers are doing their best to tend to Victoria but raw cheerily remarks that her belly is beyond repair furthermore he also placed a barrier around the Royal Capital preventing anyone from escaping he has also killed the priest who sold out his sister he had done so prior to the parade he had disguised himself as a priest and ambushed Victoria it was

a sight to see and he relishes reliving every second of it the priest's name was Gustaf he lived in a massive mansion that he bought using money he had embezzled from the church rallen bushed him in his own home and exposed his shame to the world Gustav tried to bargain for his life offering raw money and women as much as his influence would allow when he said these words Raul killed him in an ironic twist of fate using Gustav's favored torture method waterboarding Raul reassures his sister that he isn't doing this for her per se

there isn't really any cause at this point he has come to despise having a sense of justice he will simply and dutifully carry out his revenge no matter what happens he'll never forgive them he will Massacre every single last one of these traitorous Souls No Quarter no mercy when the final wooden beings fall to the ground Rawl takes this as his signal to go it's time for act two of this Divine Comedy in aubrec Castle deep within the castle dungeons Victoria has Sandra brutally beaten and punished for her shortcomings during a recent incident Victoria demands

to know why Sandra didn't cut off her legs to protect her and all Sandra can do is apologize Victorious smacks her across the face Sandra's apologies amount to nothing it isn't even worth a strand of her hair she viciously strikes her with a whip again and Sandra weekly begs for Victoria tells her to shut up and she cracks her whip on the ground all Sanders should do is keep quiet and take the punishment on the chin ever since the incident with raw Victoria has been unable to leave the castle kill people or do anything that

brings her Joy it's almost as if she's been cursed the least Sandra can do is squeal like a pig Victoria catches her breath after a few intense minutes Sandra is still alive but just barely she orders her men to continue torturing Sandra like this but one of them explains that Raul has placed something similar to a magic barrier over Sandra though whips and other torture tools can reach her no sword or blade will ever seriously harm her Victoria tightens her grip around her whip she orders that raw be captured immediately she quickly corrects herself she

doesn't want him captured she wants him killed drawn and quartered and his head brought to her on a pike and Knight is dispatched to meet with the only person who could hope to cross swords with Rawl he makes haste through the densely wooded forest but his horse suddenly breaks into a panic the night spots to goblins emerging from the bush so he Dismounts to take care of them however the Goblin King suddenly rises from the ground and before the Knight can react the Goblin King swings its Mighty Club however just before the club hits a

man suddenly appears out of nowhere and parries it with his bare arm he asks the Knight if he is all right and the Knight refers to him as Excellency he Mourns the night to stay close to him unless he wants to end up like sliced salami in an Italian deli with a single swing of his sword the mysterious man decapitates all the 3D rendered goblins and the Goblin King himself the Knight is Amazed by what he just witnessed he took out all the Goblins in an instant and his reputation as the Kingdom's strongest swordsman isn't

just for show the man Brown reassures the Knight that he will no longer begotten prey beneath His Kind inviting smile is a smirk reminiscent of Victoria round tells his family that he will depart for the Royal Capital the following day one of his children Adam excitedly asks him if this is so he can hunt down the rumored Resurrected hero brown smiles and tells them that yes he will be going out to hunt down the hero Adam cheers him on and tells him to kill him with the most merciless means known to man this entire manga

is filled with crazy people I tell you Adam had hoped to join his father on this Quest but he is far too young to set out brown tells Connie that he'll come back with a souvenir Connie looks forward to it Brown's wife Maria teases that he spoils Connie too much their breakfast is interrupted by one of their servants who is asking what kind of meal they should prepare for the messenger a more senior servant grabs him by the shoulder and apologizes on his behalf Brown tells them that the messenger has already left so the meal

is no longer necessary he sternly tells them to withdraw a maid walks in with Brown's main dish Brown's eyes light up he's been eagerly waiting for it all morning the aroma is irresistible the cloche is removed revealing what appears to be a seared steak Adam and Connie would like to have a piece too but Brown tells him that they must hunt their own game he hunted this himself just this morning round slices a cut of meat and takes a large bite his body jolts with exhilaration it's the taste of meat the taste of Victory and

the taste of the messenger the next day Brown mounts a horse and with a few hand-picked men he sets off for the capital his family sees him off and Adam and Connie also begin practicing how to hunt they head to their backyard where they viciously hunt down on defenseless kobold Adam is annoyed by how noisy it is and Connie remarks that it's because Adam is crushing its throat regardless their father will return with a new monster so they no longer have a need for this one the tiny kobold lashes out at Adam and Connie urges

him to kill it already Adam likes it right back and they chase it down Adam fires a few magic bolts that strike the kobold dead in its tracks and Connie asks if it is okay for him to kill it now Adam lets him however before Connie can deliver the finishing blow someone appears behind them they turn around and Rawl asks if he can join them a month before Victoria's wedding reception Rawl is stopped outside the gates by the City Guards one of them recognizes his face Raul happily sings a song about which of the guards

he should pick off first the guards finally realize that the hero is raw they immediately surround him and they wonder if this raw is a vengeful ghost who has come here to exact revenge for assaulting and killing his female comrades you're right on the vengeful part but he isn't a ghost which makes him even scarier Rawl stops whistling he decides to just kill them all in one go he Taps his foot causing Jagged Stone Stakes to thrust out of the ground killing nearly all of them instantly the guards dropped their weapons and try to explain

that they only violated his comrades because Victoria told them to if they hadn't they would have been the ones who would have been violated Rawl decides to slowly violate them too and he aims his Stone Stakes just a little bit more to the left the guard calls Raul a heretic and he retorts that at this point they both are raw ties up Adam and Connie and leaves them under a tree with the siblings try to intimidate raw by telling him that they're the children of the great General Brown Rawl asks them if they'd like to

dig holes like the sir currency is compelled into digging this wouldn't be the first time that young men were forced to dig holes to find something in the ground even if they don't raw remarks that he'll give them a special Duty afterwards soon enough a servant comes and tells Raul that they found it he leads Raul to a hole which is filled with human bones and remains jackpot Raul gives the man Enrico one point for finding a body Enrico claims that there aren't any more than these prompting Raul to grab his head Raul knows that

this is nowhere near enough and Rico of all people should know just how many people were killed and buried here a maid comes by and says that she has discovered another corpse that of the messenger from earlier Rawl asks Enrico if Brown had any meat last night and when he lies and says no Raul snaps his neck Rawl is fully aware that all the servants here make bonus cash on the side by killing all these people it isn't surprising that they're just as twisted and rotten as their masters Adam and Connie taunt that once Brown

returns he'll be the one begging for mercy Rawl takes this all in stride and he tells them that he's already called the general back Maria prepares a poison tipped Arrow which is strong enough to take down the Goblin King in a single blow she draws back her bowstring and lets the arrow fly their dinner tonight has been decided Adam and Connie anticipate rawl's death with Glee unfortunately the moment the arrow seemingly strikes Rawl a barrier sends it flying right back and it pierces Maria instead raw Smiles it's time to give Adam and Connie that special

brown recognizes who it is it's the ghost of the messenger they killed yesterday Brown is a man of science and he is understandably skept Optical that ghosts could exist but the messenger has a new message for him he asks Brown to return home when he does the hero and his children will be waiting for him this strikes a nerve with brown Rawl stands in front of a shallow gray filled with the manor servants it's been a tiring afternoon for him rawl's black magic doesn't just let him exact murder it allows him to easily see the

past of a person's soul he glances at the pit filled with servants and each and every one of them is revealed to have been complicit and in fact willing to commit all those murders just like their masters they were rotten to the core Raul sighs that he has misjudged Humanity he thought that these kinds of heinous acts could only be committed by demons it appears that he was wrong Brown arrives bubbling with Fury raw nonchalantly welcomes him home he stands up stretches out his arms and presents the desecrated corpse of raw's wife Brown explodes into

an unbridled rage Raul Smiles like it's a regular Tuesday afternoon to add insult to injury Raul reveals that it wasn't he who designed this masterpiece it was his own two children it shouldn't be possible for brown to be even more angry but he is he demands to know where his sons have been taken but raw refrains from revealing that information before he can say anything else Brown hurls a powerful slash in straight at raw's head he Ducks obviously because an 8 chapter manga wouldn't be very satisfying Brown hurls another air slash while demanding to know

where his children are and Rawl reassures him that they're in a safe place more importantly Rawl wants Brown to take a look at his wife's corpse again and he asks him if he finds it familiar it's the spitting image of rawl's Hometown Baden Village several years ago at Baden Village a young Rawl scavenges for mushrooms with his sister after finding a sufficient amount they bring them home where they are roasted for lunch this is Baden Village a small settlement located at the Western end of the kingdom of kurs Raul was born and raised here along

with his mother and older sister in a family of three it was an ordinary day like any other later that evening Raul and his sister attempt to hunt a wild rabbit for their supper Raul manages to catch their elusive prey but he ends up tripping and tumbles down a hill his sister catches up to him but with their Uncle Hans bloodied and injured warns them that the village was attacked Baden is Up in Flames what little buildings are still standing will be reduced to Ash within minutes Rawl immediately goes looking for his mother and his

sister points upward what Rawl sees horrifies him Brown and his Knights arrive at Baden Village after hearing reports of a demon attack and he sees raw looking up at the corpse of his mother who has been mutilated and hung up on a tree raw begins to Glow as a result of his resentment which Brown recognizes as proof that he is a hero Ron apologizes for not coming in time to rescue Raul's mother but at the very least he could save him Brown invites him back to the castle offering to train him to defeat the demons

overcome by grief and a thirst for Revenge Raul agreed he entered the capital and under the tutelage of the esteemed General Brown he began training to become the hero completely unaware of the conspiracy in place back in the present raw laughs at the navity of his younger self he had foolishly believed in the words of Brown and his superiors that demons loved ravaging Villages and that demons love killing and burning things he flamboyantly repeats a declaration he made in his youth to exterminate demons to save humankind how foolish she was round lass he wondered what

Rawl was doing all this for and it turns out that it was something as laughable and shallow as Revenge Brown admits happily that it was he who set Baden Village Ablaze he was thrilled to receive the order because it isn't every day that you get to commit King's sanctioned massacres Brown reveals that he had long loathedral for being known as the hero even though he believes himself to be the strongest in the Kingdom his pride won't let him tolerate rawl's existence Brown perhaps simply to boast or to anger raw recounts that he had stumbled upon

raw's mother trying to protect a village child he killed her where she stood cooked her right in front of the kid and dined on her Exquisite tender meat it was unbelievably succulent Raul is unimpressed he already knows all about that food story it's the whole reason he tried to reenact the scene to begin with he points to the grisly scene behind him the only reason he didn't eat her is because he isn't a cannibal Raul taunts that brown is still hung up on the title of being the strongest which is something a mid-tier anime villain

would declare insulted Brown draws his sword ready to inflict some painful punishment on Raw it's time for judgment Raul Smiles now he knows what makes brown tick the unwavering belief that he is the strongest alright then Rawl is all warmed up now come and get some Rawl tells Brown that his children are currently locked up in the dungeon of the estate the only way Brown can save them is if he defeats Raul Brown announces that once he's killed Raul he and his sons will eat him Brown hefts his great sword and tax Rawl but he

Ducks out of the way in time round follows up with another slash of raw amusingly hops right on top of his blade he taunts that none of Brown's meager attacks will ever hit him now it's his turn using his black magic raw conjures a blade out of thin air Rawl Twirls the blade and weakly swings his arm toward brown brown prepares to Parry the weak attack but instead he is nearly crushed by The Unbelievable weight of rawl's Slash his old knees will probably give out before his arms Rawl starts playfully laughing encouraging Brown to do

his best if he doesn't want to die with a chilling howl Brown engulfs his blade and his very body with potent Flames hoping to burn Rawl to Ash he starts laughing uncontrollably expecting to see Rawls dry to pusk any moment now but unbelievably raw is just fine it's like a sauna in here still on fire raw rushes into Brown compressed that he has been able to put up a fight it's a welcome change of pace given that everyone so far has folded like wet cardboard Brown Perry is one of rawl's blows and leaps back to

keep his distance their brief exchange lasted no more than a few seconds but Brown is already exhausted Rawl notices his heavy panting and he remarks that it's time to end this this reg nights Brown's fighting Spirit if there's one thing he hates it's being looked down on he is the strongest Fighter the kingdom has ever known and he's going to prove it he's going to prove Jack Raul knocks his sword out of of his hand and knocks him into the tree where his wife is hanging the impact alone ruptured a few of his organs but

Brown still insists on fighting he crawls toward Raul again adamant that he cannot lose Raul tries to tell Brown that there's no point in trying to fight since he's already lost but Brown still believes he can win rawl's size so this is what the villains feel like when the hero refuses to give up raw squats and encourages Brown to do his best to approach his sword the moment Brown is within Arm's Reach of his blade Raul kicks him in the stomach psych try again Brown tries crawling towards his sword again only for raw to kick

him down each and every time it becomes a pitiful sight but Brown wasn't born to quit an entire afternoon passes with brown trying to reach his sword and Rawl notices that the sun is already setting a confused and frustrated Brown tearfully asks why he can't defeat Raul even though he is the strongest and raw has finally had enough he smirks and he tells Brown to give up with a simple magic spell Raul destroys Brown's prize sword Brown has lost to a mere child at that Brown's eyes nearly pop out of their sockets since he no

longer has a sword Brown no longer has need of hands Raul kneels down and casts a small spell over Brown's hands causing them to pop off the strongest man in the world reduced to lameness Raul tells Brown that a special dinner awaits them this evening and he reassures him that he'll love it too now on to the feast Braun awakens in his Manor's dining room with his two sons in a state of delirium to his right Raul is appropriately dressed in a chef's hat and tunic when Brown sees that his sons are in a trance-like

state he demands to know what he did to them Raul seems confused by the question after all he was just copying them Raul found the special drug while trying to find a place to temporarily imprison Adam and Connie while passing through the dungeons he notices that the cell inmate is groaning mindlessly he tries to ask Adam and Connie why the servants are acting this way but they are too overcome by grief and despair at their mother's death useless Rawl decides to toss them into the same cell but he feels a small bottle bump into his

boot how interesting Brown's wife had cultivated the drug herself as her family is a renowned clan of herbalists and as it seems drug makers Rawl tells Brown that he plans to pay his wife's family a visit once he's wrapped up his business here so he asks Brown if he has any messages round yells at him to screw himself Raul will relay that exact same message to them they've talked enough rawl's iron griddle is nice and hot it's time for him to start their Carnival feast and he has prepared Brown and his two sons delicious meat

from two lambs and a bowl raw brandishes a knife in front of brown and kills the younger Connie to harvest his meat The First Cut is a shoulder roast he dangles it in front of brown before laying it on the iron plate and seasoning it with salt and pepper after cooking it medium rare he lays it on a plate right in front of brown after remembering that he cut Brown's arms off Rawl picks up the slab of meat and forcibly feeds it to brown brown bites down and is forced to chew the food but he

he tries his best to get it out of his mouth Raul tells him that it is impolite to spill food like that eventually Brown swallows all of it realizing what he has done Brown kicks and screams at Raw calling him a heretic cannibals don't exactly have the moral High Ground in these types of situations next Raul certain up even more parts of delicious meat and he eventually finishes each and every plate of the Lamb he has served Connie is no more but why should Brown enjoy all the meat Raul thinks it's high time that his

sons got to eat some bull meat Raul asks Brown what he'd like Adam to eat first Raw Cuts off a part of brown and feeds it to Adam who happily will sit down he sure loves meat Raul starts laughing truly like father like son Brown having lost all his willpower and Defiance begs raw to at least let his eldest son Adam go he no longer cares what happens to him as long as his hair can live on Raul remarks that this is exactly how his mother pleaded for that young boy's life he casts a small

choking spell to shut Brown up he tells Brown try and remember what happened to his mother's body because Brown is about to experience the exact same fate raw holds the knife to Brown's throat and his last words are save me but nobody came with the moon high in the sky Raul's revenge on Brown's family has come to an end all of a sudden it has all become terribly dull there's no fun in tormenting a dead body but at least Rawl has finally taken revenge on him now it's time to move on and play with his

next unsuspecting prey
