before we pray I'd like to share a short message and then we'll pray together as we celebrate New Year today you may find yourself reflecting on the past the victories the challenges and perhaps even the moments that left you feeling weary while the weight of yesterday May linger today is a reminder that God is always doing something new this is your chance to leave behind what no longer serves you and step boldly into the future with faith let me encourage you with the word of God as you begin this journey into the new year Isaiah

43: 18 and 19 it says forget the former things do not dwell on the past see I am doing a new thing now it Springs up do you not perceive it I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the Wasteland this is God's message for you as you begin the new year he is making all things new you don't have to be defined by what is behind you whether it's failure pain or uncertainty he is a God who transforms the barren places into flourishing Gardens today is not just another day on the

calendar it is a Divine opportunity to walk in the fresh mercies of God trusting in his faithfulness to carry you through the days ahead as you reflect on this New Beginning let the words of Philippians 3: 13 and 14 guide you it says but one thing I do forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus this is your moment to let go of the burdens of the past and focus on the future God has

prepared for you the struggles and triumphs of yesterday have shaped you but they do not Define what God has in store for your tomorrow as you pray for the year ahead hold on to the promise of Proverbs 3: 5-6 says trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways submit to him and he will make your path straight trusting God is the foundation of every new beginning even when the road ahead is uncertain you can rest in the assurance that he is directing your steps and

lighting your path finally let the truth of Jeremiah 29:1 be your anthem for I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future as you celebrate New Year today take this moment to thank God for his grace that has carried you through and the promises that will sustain you in the year to come his plans for you are good and his love will never fail today is not just the start of a new year it's the beginning of

another chapter in God's story for your life celebrate with joy but also with prayer invite God into every part of your year thank him for bringing you this far and trust him to guide you through what's ahead declare this prayer over your life as the new year begins let's pray together heavenly father thank you for your goodness and mercy that have been upon my life and my family I bless your holy name for you are so faithful so loving and so kind as I step into this New Year Lord I humbly ask that you go

before me in every way be the light that leads me the voice that guides me and the strength that carries me just as you led the Israelites with a pillar of Fire by night and A Cloud by day I ask that you lead me with your wisdom and presence if there are obstacles in my path whether physical emotional or spiritual I pray that you will part the seas before me and make a way where there seems to be no way let your plans for my life unfold Lord for I know that your plans are good

perfect and filled with hope father I pray against anything that seeks to follow me from the past into this new year be it fear doubt or challenges in the powerful name of Jesus I declare that no weapon formed against me or my family will prosper Break Every Chain every hindrance and every plan of the enemy that seeks to hold me back I trust trust in your protection knowing that you have already fought and won many battles on my behalf thank you for your faithfulness Lord and for being my shield and Defender Lord as I stand

at the threshold of this New Year help me to let go of the pain disappointments and struggles of the past heal the wounds that linger in my heart and fill me with hope for what lies ahead I pray that you will help me release anything or anyone that no longer aligns with your will for my life give me the courage to walk away from unhealthy relationships and toxic influences and instead surround me with people who uplift encourage and strengthen me in my walk with you teach me father to learn from my past without being weighed

down by it let every mistake become a lesson that leads to wisdom and let every trial be a testimony of your grace and goodness I declare that cycles of failure discouragement and negativity are broken in Jesus's name by the power of your word and the blood of Jesus I cut off every tie to things that held me captive I speak Freedom healing and restoration over my life and the lives of my loved ones Lord I ask that you erase every accus ation curse or negative words spoken against me I stand firmly in the righteousness of

Christ knowing that I am covered by his sacrifice help me to walk boldly in faith and make decisions that honor you let your word be the foundation of my life guiding me in every choice I make and every step I take strengthen my trust in you Lord and remind me that your plans for me are always good as as I move forward in this new year fill me with a fresh outpouring of faith and boldness help me to face every challenge with confidence knowing that you are with me pour out your spirit upon me Lord

and let the Sevenfold anointing of your spirit rest upon my life may the spirit of wisdom understanding counsel might knowledge and the fear of the Lord guide me in all that I do Let Your Presence be my refuge and my strength my peace in the midst of every storm father I Surrender this New Year entirely into your hands I commit my family my loved ones my dreams and my plans to you lead me on the path of righteousness and help me align my heart mind and soul with your will let this year be a SE

season of spiritual growth transformation and victory help me to see your hand in every situation and to trust in your perfect timing and purpose thank you Lord for walking with me into this new year I believe that this year will be filled with your goodness favor and Grace help me to live each day with a heart full of gratitude a spirit of faith and a mind focused on you thank you for hearing my prayer and for being my faithful father in The Mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ I pray amen if this prayer has
