Always Start The Day By Spending Time With God | A Blessed Morning Prayer To Start Your Day

[Music] now before we pray I'd first like to speak on the importance of early morning prayers I want us to understand why we should be praying first before we start our day because it's only once you understand the importance of morning prayer that you can begin to put it into practice everyone needs a place to be alone with God as long as we don't have a place we won't be able to maintain private prayer Mark 1:35 says very early in the morning while it was still dark Jesus got up left the house and went off

to a solitary place where he prayed Jesus knew the value and the power of private prayer Jesus spent time alone in the wilderness for 40 days and nights he later spent more time alone praying In The Garden of Gethsemane before the cross his example is important for every believer we cannot do the work of God we cannot live and walk by faith we can't even live a life pleasing to God if we are not filled with him everyone who claims to follow Christ should take the time alone to recharge take the time to talk to

God get to know him for yourself not just through some sermon you hear online you need to get to know him for yourself you should take the time to read scripture and consider what God has for you next and let me challenge you right now stand up and be honest with yourself right now are you praying like you should be are you taking the time to recharge your faith do you have a place where you can pray without distractions a place that you can pray openly and I challenge you to find your time for private

prayer because this life it will drain too much of you listen to me life will happen situations will happen things will come up that will drain your focus on God doing life out of your own power that will not work we need God we need the holy spirit so that fatigue and burnout won't happen we need him so that we don't grow weary spending time with God it keeps our focus on him and off ourselves and I believe that the best time to pray privately is in the morning that's when our Spirits are fresh and

our minds are free that's when our bodies are rested it's before the cares and distractions of the day have taken our focus and it's better to go from prayer to business than from business to prayer Mark 1:35 says very early in the morning while it was still dark Jesus got up left the house and went off to a solitary place where he prayed if Jesus made the effort to get up and pray while it was still M how much more important is it for us how much more is it important for us to get up

up before the world grabs possession of our thoughts before the devil tries to tempt us and fills us with Unholy Feelings by having communion with God the father in the morning we're saying Lord out of all my priorities instead of going for a run instead of going to the gym or making cereal Lord you are the most important on my to-do list today and I will give you the first fruit of my day if we allow time for God first thing in the morning he will bring together the rest of our day you'll find that

you start your day strong you start your day being full in your spirit and you're in a stronger position not to be hungry for this world not to give into the lures of this world but if you wait until later to have your private time with a father what tends to happen and if you're honest you'll agree what tends to happen is that we push it back I'll pray later I'll pray as soon as I get home I'll pray after it gets pushed out of the line it gets pushed out of the lineup and either

it never gets done or it gets done in a hurry and then if you're not careful you'll find that you've gone days without spending quality time in God's presence days without talking to God or reading his word you're in danger of filling yourself up with the world and leaving no room for God as opposed to filling in yourself up with the Lord and leaving no room for the world do you know what Colossians 3: 1-4 means it says since then you've been raised with Christ set your hearts on things above where Christ is seated at

the right hand of God set your minds on things above not on Earthly things Jesus wants us to seek first his kingdom and righteousness and this begins with how we set our mind in emotions and behavioral Direction during the first part of each day what we think about we become if we start each day with communion prayer worship and praise then we will bear much fruit for the Lord Jesus awoke before Daybreak because he wanted to avoid the distractions that would come from people events and duties we should also set an appointment with the Lord

that we will not miss or put off don't be choked out by the worries the pleasures the duties of this life instead set your mind on things above now I'm not saying to neglect your responsibilities it just means prioritize your soul and your spirit because in a heartbeat any one of us can be standing in front of our maker and the thing is those other priorities those other duties they won't mean a thing when you stand in front of the Lord all that matters is your relationship ship with him when we devote ourselves to the

Lord and his word every morning he restores our soul he makes us walk in the path of righteousness when we choose to let go of our prayer lives or our prayer time in the morning several things can happen we're not able to see things and people around us from a more spiritual standpoint we end up reacting to people in situations from a carnal standpoint instead of a let go and let God handle this point of you we end up facing the day without being fed in our spirit there are countless things that can go wrong

in your day if you choose not to begin your day with prayer of course things can still go wrong when you do pray in the morning but after you start your day with prayer you find that you're able to take things on with a peace that's beyond human understanding you're able to handle things with confidence knowing that you have a God who works through you in you and for you God already knows what we will face that day before we ever open our eyes why not take a few minutes to ask him what the plan

is Psalm 119: 147 says I Rise Before Dawn and cry for help I have put my hope in your word hope in God's word encourages us to continue in prayer it's better to take time from sleep than not to find time for prayer we have access to God at all hours and and if our first thoughts in the morning are of God then he will help to keep us in the right frequency all day long so hear me our earliest thoughts should be those of devotion our earliest acts should be in acknowledgement of God our

first actions should be private prayer so let's make a commitment commit to starting your days with God now let's pray Lord Jesus your word in Proverbs 16:3 says commit to the Lord whatever you do and He will establish your plans father in obedience to your word I commit everything to you I commit it all Lord the plans I have made they're in your hands father the goals I've written down and all of the things that I want to achieve I commit them into your hands father in agreement with everyone under the sound of my voice

we commit our ways to you we commit Our Lives to you Lord Jesus our families our children our marriages we commit it all to you mighty God take control and have your way let your will be done in our lives God May the Holy Spirit lead and move within our hearts and our homes so that we may do that which is pleasing in your sight father in committing all that I have to you I am saying that I submit to you Lord Jesus I Trust You Lord I believe in you and I believe in your

word Lord Jesus as I commit everything to you as I declare my loyalty and Devotion to you I also submit my thought life into your hands I submit my heart's desires to you reshape my thinking Lord let my thinking be aligned to the word of God let my heart's desire be pure in your sight this world may try to get me to conform to its ways but I pray that you would give me the strength to overcome the Temptation Of The World friends may try to entice me so that I can conform to their sinful

ways but Lord I pray that you would give me the strength to overcome every temptation may I be so committed to following you Lord that nothing in this world would take my focus or Draw my affection Lord I will not fear the unknown because my eyes are continuously fixed on you I pray and declare Psalm 16: 8 and 9 I have set the lord always before me because he is at my right hand I shall not be moved therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices My Flesh also will rest in hope I will

not be moved by any situation my heart is filled with gladness and joy because I'm under your care Lord Jesus I may not know what tomorrow has in store for me but I do have faith that whatever the enemy means for evil you Lord will turn it around for my good I may not know what tomorrow has in store for me but I do have faith in you as my provider I trust that you will be my safe place be glorified in my life Lord Jesus I'm at peace because I know who my God is

I'm at peace because I know who my source is I'm at peace because I know who my protector is Lord you have my focus you have my attention I look to you and you alone for direction for strength and for Comfort I Praise You Lord Jesus for all that you've done and I praise you in advance for all that you are doing and that which you are still yet to do father help me to fearlessly believe in Exodus 14 verse1 14 it says the Lord will fight for you and you shall hold your peace God

help us to boldly embrace your word help us to embrace it boldly with no doubt help us to declare and hold on to Isaiah 40: 29-31 he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak even youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength they will soar on wings like eagles they will run and not grow weary they will walk and not be faint I pray for strong faith God I pray that I may stand up for Jesus Christ

and testify of how he turned my mourning into dancing I thank you for your grace and mercy and I thank you for hearing my prayer it's in Jesus name that I pray amen the Lord is my light and my salvation so why should I be afraid the Lord is my Fortress protecting me from danger so why should I tremble when evil people come to devour me when my enemies and foes attack me they will stumble and fall though a mighty Army surrounds me my heart will not be afraid even if I am attacked I will

remain confident the one thing I ask of the Lord the thing I seek most is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life delighting in the Lord's Perfection and meditating in his Temple for he will conceal me there when troubles come he will hide me in his Sanctuary he will place me Out Of Reach on a high Rock then I will hold my head high above my enemies who surround me at his Sanctuary I will offer sacrifices with shouts of Joy singing and praising the Lord with music hear me

as I pray oh Lord be merciful and answer me my heart has heard you say come and talk with me and my heart responds Lord I am coming do not turn your back on me do not reject your servant in Anger you have always been my helper don't leave me now don't abandon me oh god of my salvation even if my father and mother abandon me the Lord will hold me close teach me how to live oh Lord lead me along the right path for my enemies are waiting for me do not let me fall

into their hands for they accuse me of things I've never done with every breath they threaten me with violence yet I'm confident I will see the Lord's goodness while I am here in the land of the living wait patiently for the Lord be brave and courageous yes wait patiently for the [Music] Lord commit to the Lord whatever you do and He will establish your plans father in obedience to your word I have set the lord always before me because he is at my right hand and I shall not be moved therefore my heart is glad
