how much of your life do you waste worrying how many projects have you put off wishing that you had gotten them done but you're still waiting for the perfect time as if there is such a thing on this video today I'm going to teach you how to end worry once and for all how to brainwash yourself scub that bra brainwash yourself to overcome procrastination and take action and do it with Biblical mind science I made up that term I didn't make up the concept but that's what I call it because people think that the Bible

is a Feelgood book on Sunday morning but the Bible is a live live good book Monday Sunday through Saturday and if you apply it to your life it can change your life in ways that you currently cannot imagine I'm going to read a passage to you from Matthew chapter 6 starting with verse 19 and I'm going to I'm going to I'm going to chase a lot of rabbits today but I'm going to like if you will do what I'm saying maybe one day you'll have an experience that I had recently okay I'm going to tell

you about this experience I had I I was I went to the doctor's and I got some blood work done and so I went back to have the nurse practitioner tell me like what's wrong with me good luck with that one okay anyway went back to have the nurse practitioner tell me what's going on she asked me this question here's what she said she said do you ever worry about anything I said no not really that's a really weird question why would you ask me that and here's what she said to me you have the

lowest cortisol levels of any human being I have ever seen y'all know what cortisol is Right cortisol is the stress hormone but guess what ain't no stress in my mess why cuz God's got it covered God's got it under the whole thing is already done and guess what happens at the end we win but we don't actually win we've already won we are more than conquerors through him that loved us so I'm going to read this passage of scripture to you and it says in starting with verse 19 says lay not for yourselves Treasures upon

the Earth where moth and rust do corrupt and where thieves do breakthrough and steal but lay up for yourselves Treasures in Heaven where neither moth nor rust do corrupt nor thieves breakthrough and steal now there are a lot of people who misinterpret this to mean well I sh I need to spend every dime out of every dollar that's not what it's saying it's not saying don't prepare for your future life that's not what it's saying it's saying don't lay up treasure for yourself key words for yourself so you say my but aren't you rich yep

and I'm going to get richer and I have no problem with it whatsoever you say why do you say Rich because it's a Bible word and God used it and when he used it the first time he used it he was talking about Abram who later became Abraham who was the friend of God and Abram wasn't just Rich he was very rich yeah sming but he was rich with a Godly Heritage yeah he was also rich with like resources like monetary resources here's what it says go read Genesis chapter 13 after God told Abram he'd

bless him if he left his hometown and his family and all the stuff he was familiar with it says in Genesis 13: number two and Abram was very rich in cattle and silver and gold say why do you use the word Rich cuz it's in the Bible Mar are you a Prosperity Gospel preacher nope the gospel is Jesus died was buried and resurrected the third day according to the scriptures for your eternal life that's the gospel now what does the word gospel mean good news je now if if I I can't think of a whole

lot better news for a PO poor person other than you don't have to be poor so if you going to preach the gospel to the poor right like you don't have to be poor I'm not like God doesn't want does God want everybody to be rich I would say probably not that would be my guess but it is it is it God's design for his people to be wealthy and abundant 100% the Bible lays that out all throughout scripture I'm not going to apologize for that I'm not going to pretend that it says something else

because you might call me a name my is a Prosperity Gospel preacher I don't even know what you mean when you say that but I know that I teach the Bible and I don't sell any blessings to anybody and I'm not going to ever never I've never told you to send me money and I've never asked anybody in here to give a donation have I never never so I'm like I don't have any blessings for sale I believe that we should use the money and love the people not love the money and use the people

I believe that we should use the money to love the people okay so when when it says lay not for yourselves Treasures upon the Earth that's not telling us don't accumulate wealth it's telling us don't accumulate wealth for ourselves but just like the B the same Bible that tells me not to accumulate wealth for myself tells me to create generational wealth for my descendants because the scripture tells me a good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children and I know what you're saying but that's not talking about wealth and money okay that's what you

say but I let the Bible interpret itself what does the Bible say house and riches are the inheritance of fathers and a Prudent Wife is from the Lord so according to the Bible if I want to stand before God and as a good man it is my responsibility to leave an inheritance of at least a house and at least some riches to my children not you're 18 go figure it out like I did that's the American way that's not the Bible Way okay so I'm not laying up Treasures for myself I'm laying up Treasures for

my children my children's children for the causes that I care about and the people that I love the most and if you talk to my children they will tell you that now here's what's amazing you can lay up Treasures you can lay up like an inheritance for your children without giving them money when they're growing up I didn't give my children money when they're growing up maybe that's why they work so hard now now I I helped them grow into the people who would learn how to earn money so that when they inherit it they

would perpetuate the family wealth instead of decimating the family wealth okay anyway that's biblical by the way so lay not for yourselves treas upon the Earth where moth and R are corrupt and sees do break through and steal but lay it for yourselves Treasures in Heaven neither moth or rust of the corrupt or nor thieves do breakthrough and steal how do I lay up for myself Treasures in Heaven well one of the things I can do is I can give to the poor the scripture says he that giveth to the poor lendeth to the Lord

and He Shall repay him what when I give money to poor people who can't pay me back God says he's going to pay me back yes now I got to be honest with you if you're going to pay me back or God's going to pay me back I'd rather have God pay me back hasht just saying okay verse 21 says where your treasure is there will your heart be also I'm going to tell you something as much as we are commended and commanded not to love money we are also commanded and commanded to love people

let me ask you a question while you've been busy not loving money have you been busy loving people I'm just asking like when was the last time you did something for someone who could do nothing for you because Jesus said how you treat them the least of these you've done it also unto me just not an accusation it's a question okay you don't even have to answer me just answer yourself okay by the way let me let me tell you this the whole chapter of Matthew chapter 6 Jesus is preaching and he's basically saying live

like this don't live like that pray like this don't pray like that give like this don't give like that right this whole chapter do this don't do that the whole chapter is that okay so he's given us some you call this the dos and don'ts of living your life chapter okay all right here we go then it says lay for your Treasures in Heaven where neither mouth nor rest of corrupt if Israel for where your treasure is there will your heart be also giving to Charities and churches that serve people and not ones that use

people to serve themselves then it says verse 22 the light of the body is the eye and If thy eye be thine eye be single thy whole body shall be full of light but if th I be evil thy whole body shall be full of Darkness if therefore the light that is in thee be Darkness how great is that darkness when when you are doing good for the wrong Reason by the way the reason that Matthew chapter 6 is giving us is to be seen of men because you need people to believe something about you

if that's why you're doing your good deeds your light is Darkness what about a pure motive what about this is a human that's made in the image of God they have a need that I can f I'm going to do it say Mar I thought this is about how to end worry it is but I got to you ain't even you ain't even ready to get to the place where you can end worry like I I literally don't worry about anything I would recommend you do the same thing because worry is waste the greater the

worry the greater the waste the less you worry the less you waste the more you worry the more you waste I should turn that into a song but I don't have time right now maybe I'll work on it later then it says no man can serve two masters for he will either hate one and love the other or else he will hold to one and despise the other you cannot serve God and Mammon m is not money Mammon is the false god of prosperity so like unfortunately too many people in America never leave their state

some of them never leave their town the country nah i a n n I've never been overseas you got to go other places if you want to learn some stuff man when I went to Greece you know what I learned those Greeks had an idol for everything they got the god of the ingrown toenail and the god of the hooping clo no I mean it's not quite that bad but it's pretty close they the god of Victory and his twin sister the god of defeat they have the god of poverty and the god of prosperity

mammon's the god of pro the false god of prosperity you can't serve God in man now let me ask you a question what is a master no man can have two masters what's a master a master is someone who what owns you and what controls you H now here's the funny thing I found out about money it had way more control over me when I didn't have any yeah than it has over me that now that I have a lot money when it is your master and you are broke its answer is almost always no

I mean think about it two of the most tragic memories I remember painful memories that I remember in my own life were number one when my uncle Freddy died and I lived in Jacksonville Florida and I was broke my dad's brother who was closest to him in age when he died I couldn't go to the funeral because my money said you don't have enough money to go I couldn't go and support my dad when his brother died because money was my master because I didn't have any and it said no you can't go and then

y'all heard me tell the story about how between like 2010 and what and really got tight in 2013 14 through 2015 I was broke as a joke and ready to choke and my wife's brother who I led to Christ died and I had enough money for one of us to go but he didn't have enough money for both of us to go there's not a single solitary person on planet Earth who can persuade me about the virtues of poverty because I literally believe what the Bible says about that also the rich man's wealth is his

Strong City but the destruction of the poor is their poverty how many how many sermons have you heard on that not many probably none can I get a witness okay we're going to keep it moving because I want to get P get to this worry thing which is comes up in ver next verse 25 therefore because you can't serve two masters because where your treasure is there will your heart be also therefore I say unto you because whenever you read therefore it's always referring to what came before therefore I say unto you take no thought

for your life what you shall eat nor what you nor for your body what you shall put on is not life more than meat or the body more than rainment now when it says take no thought that word take no thought is not don't plan for tomorrow that's not what's that's saying it's literally saying don't worry about tomorrow another place that same word is translated in Philippians chapter 4 it says and be careful for nothing don't be full of anxious care that's literally what it means when it says take no thought for tomorrow don't have

anxiety about tomorrow now this is how you overcome worry by first of all recognizing what worry is what is worry worry is anxiety what is anxiety anxiety is wasting present energy on a future outcome that's undesirable to me hm said that too fast I'm going to say it again anxiety is wasting present energy on a future outcome that's undesirable to me what does that mean wasting present energy so I'm not using the energy because when I use energy I'm actually producing something I'm burning up energy to produce something when I'm worried I'm burning up energy

producing nothing do you know I can start my car and run it out of gas sitting in my driveway all I got to do is sit there and go and I'll do more than get on my neighbor neighbor's nerves I'll either blow the engine in the car or run it completely snap out slap out of gas and I didn't go anywhere that's what worry looks like worry looks like you sitting in the driveway a car turned on you sit there and like your neighbor comes over knocks on one dude what are you doing um I'm

I'm just thinking about going somewhere they would look at you like you lost your natural mind but that's what we we don't do that in our cars but we do that in our lives all the time we do that in our mind when I get all revved up and guess what happens when you have anxiety it produces a physical reaction in your body like strenuous physical activity you get short of breath like you're panting like you just ran a marathon and all you're doing is thinking about an unfavorable outcome in the future then your heart's

racing your head's sweating your hands are sweating and you are doing absolutely nothing except contemplating an unfavorable outcome in the future how many of y'all have ever heard the phrase worrying about something makes it happen how many ever heard that do you know why it makes it happen worrying about something makes it happen because when you're worried about something you're wasting all the energy that you could use to keep it from happening on worrying about it happening it's so crazy but we all do it sometimes I I I do it almost never I used to

do it a lot I literally I don't people people say to me don't worry my I got toover I say I never worry like my response I always respond verbally somebody says to me don't worry I say oh I never worry I say that out loud why because that is my self fulfilling prophecy I never worry why would I worry what's it going to do which by the way Jesus asked that question he said take notes off for tomorrow um verse 23 uh no verse 2 uh verse 25 therefore I said do you take no

thought for tomorrow take no thought for your life what you shall eat what you shall drink or for nor for your body what you shall put on is not the body more than meat and the uh is not the life more than meat and the body more than rment behold the fouls of the air for they s not neither do they reap nor gather into barns they don't plant they don't Harvest they don't store yet your heavenly father Feth them are ye not much better than they here's why we worry because we don't trust God

that's what that's saying God takes care of the birds they ain't worried why you worried you got a brain that'll outsmart any bird and you're worried you can create stuff from your imagination Birds can't do that and you're worried okay y'all tracking okay then he says verse 27 which of You by taking thought by worrying can add one cubit to his stature which one of you by worrying about how short you are can add 18 Ines to your height cuz cuz the reality is if you could do it we'd have done it already huh can

I get a witness so what you here's what the saying worrying about anything is as dumb as worrying about how short you are thinking it's going to make you taller that's how much of a waste it is like you're accomplishing absolutely nothing actually you're accomplishing less than nothing worse than nothing you're wearing yourself out and getting nothing for it but my you don't know what's going on in my life my this is that my that is this okay so God went on vacation while you're that was that and your this was this hey I'm going

to tell you something now you don't have to wonder whether or not God's going to do his part God always does his part in fact God has already done his part God has already set your tomorrow up exactly as it's supposed to be now it's your I'm just waiting on the Lord he just waiting on you and verse number 28 why take ye thought for Rond why do you worry about what you're going to wear consider the lies of the field how they grow they toil not neither Day spin the the lies of the field

don't have a lily manufacturing plant they tore not neither do they spin and yet I say unto you verse 29 that even Solomon in all his glory was not array or dressed like one of these wherefore if God so clothed the grass of the field which today is and tomorrow is cast into the oven shall we not much more clothe you oh you have little faith what are you worried about just go look at the grass and let it remind you of how God takes care of his own just go watch the birds fly through

the sky I talk saw two birds flying chasing each other in the air yesterday and it reminded me of like like fighter pilots and dog fights and birds just know how to do that that's they're like I F you out right it's like it's like they're just having fun being Birds I'd rather be me than a bird I mean they got two wings but they got no arms I'd rather have two arms than two Wings I'm just saying maybe you've never thought about that I think about it like I'm so glad I'm not a bird

they're walking around they they can't reach down pick up something off the ground with their hand they got to stick their mouth in the dirt anyway my brain not yours pray for me don't judge me okay so wherefor if God so clothe the grass of Hill day as tomorrow's cast into the oven shall he not much more clothe you all you a little faith therefore I therefore take no thought what you shall eat saying what you shall what shall we eat or what shall we drink or where all shall we be clothed for after all

these things do the Gentiles seek for your heavenly father knoweth that you have need of all these things why do the Gentiles seek those things because they don't know that God already has them covered as a follower of Christ you're supposed to know God's already got you covered what are you worried about what are you doing what is that you know why you're worrying CU you got lots of worry practice lots of worry practice and you have lots of worry examples that you've had in your life you watched Mama worry you watched daddy worry you

watch Grandmama worry you watch Uncle Rufus worry you w you watch a lot of folk worry in your life so you got that thing down to a science how many people have you watched in your life actually be at peace in the midst of a storm to the point where they're both calm and comfortable in the midst of the storm like Jesus was on the boat when the boat was full of water it says and he was on the hinder part of the ship asleep on a pillow in Mark chapter 4 I love the fact

that it didn't just say he was in the hinder part of the ship asleep it said he was asleep on the pillow showing that he's both calm and comfortable in the midst of the storm so I'm going to show you how to use your mind to create Faith or to not create Faith because you can't create Faith to insert faith into a space where doubt used to exist so that you can take in action in faith that you couldn't take in doubt do you understand what worry does it keeps you from growing it keeps you

from being fruitful and multiplying and replenishing the Earth and subduing it and having Dominion your worry is what's stopping you like the book that you wanted to write five years ago you haven't written because you were so worried about somebody judging you for what you wrote or you you writing the book and nobody buying it that you never did the work you're so worried about that sales presentation for those of you who are in business that you don't go talk to the client because you're worried that they're not going to say yes and so because

you're so worried about them saying no you don't go talk to him so it's talk to them so it's an automatic now you're so worried about if you're an entrepreneur and you create whatever maybe you're an inventor and you invent stuff or maybe you're a Creator and you create stuff and maybe you got a you got a great idea to teach people how you do this one thing that's so unique to you but you don't want to be judged by people so you won't create it because you're afraid it might not sell and even if

it does the people who buy it won't be happy with it and so you're so worried about an unfavorable outcome that you won't do the work that's why the title of this thumbnail is end worry but the title of the video is brainwash yourself cuz worry is like brain dirt brainwash your yourself into overcoming procrastination and taking action now are y'all ready to learn how to do it yes the Bible gives us so many illustrations of like if you would learn how to be at peace thou wil keep him in perfect peace whose mind is

stayed on thee see you're do you ever wonder how how these these groups of people in scripture face the same opposition but they had two totally different responses 12 Spies 12 men two spy and can and 10 were bad and two were good they didn't they think they saw in can and 10 were bad and two were good right so I don't know if yall remember that song or not but I no okay so 12 12 men went 12 men went to spy and can and 10 were bad and two were good what do you

the Giants they couldn't see God so therefore they got it here's what they had the opportunity to do wander in the wilderness for the next 40 years and die in the wilderness cuz y'all ain't going into the promised land but guess what two of those 12 men Joshua and Caleb said yeah we they got big giants but God's bigger than all those giants put together let's go now I'm going to show you how it works some of you have seen me talk about this before but doesn't matter if You' seen me talk about it if

see them or somebody calls you on the phone and tells you about them and as soon as you observe the facts the first thing you do you don't you don't even have to think you don't have to intentionally do this it happens automatically as soon as you observe the facts the first thing you do is you put a frame around those facts and that frame is in the form of the focus in your head so you have a focus in your head now when I say a focus in your head when you are when you

observe the facts the focus because of the law of polarity for every action there's an equal and opposite reaction for every negative is a positive every positive is a negative when you focus on the facts it is just who you are and how you are you're either going to focus on the positive aspect of the fact or the negative aspect of the fact very few people focus on both sides in fact you can how many you have ever tried to um do two things that were not connected at the same time it's just a total

waste of time like multitasking doesn't work okay well guess what multifocusing doesn't work either so when you're focus on the positive aspect of the fact it makes you happy when you focus on the negative aspect of the fact it made you sad regardless of which one you're focused on you think the fact made you happy or sad it didn't you made you happy or sad based on the aspect of the fact that you are focused on did I say that too faast you made you happy you make me so mad I can't make you mad

you can't make me mad you can be angry with me and if when you get angry with me I get angry with you I can say you made me mad but I got so focused on the fact that you were mad at me how dare you be mad at me who do you think you are to be mad at me like I care about you why would you ever be mad at me and I can focus on that or I can focus on the fact well you know humans just get mad at humans sometimes and

they're mad at me right now hopefully it won't last long let me I'm going just love them through the fact they mad at me right you get to decide okay now so when I'm F when I'm focused on the facts what happens when I'm focused on the positive aspect of the fact my mind is going to automatically conjure up a oh you know what I'm going to do my mind's going to conjure up you know those this is a thought right my mind's going to conjure up a two-sided coin a two-sided coin called belief now

here's what's amazing belief is a two-sided coin if I'm focused on the positive aspect of the fact the belief that my mind is going to conjure up is called Faith but if I'm focused on the negative aspect of the fact the belief that my mind is going to conure up is called doubt now here's what most people don't understand faith and doubt are both belief people erroneously think that faith is belief and doubt is the oppos doubt doubt is the absence of belief doubt is not the absence of belief doubt is belief in an unfavorable

outcome watch this faith is belief in the promise of the father doubt is belief in the threat of the enemy I know right and so so so like this automatically happens in Us by the way it happens because of our programming are y'all tracking so here's what I mean by our programming it happens because I have responded so many times in the past to the negative aspect of the fact when I see something I automatically look for the negative so I can focus on it I've I've responded I've focused on the positive aspect of the

fact so many times in the past that when I see a a fact I automatically am drawn to the positive aspect of the fact you say I'm just a negative person yes you're just a person who focuses on the negative aspect of all the positive of all the facts see the fact is neither negative nor positive it is always both it's impossible for any situation like and this is not coming from a person who's never gone through anything difficult it's impossible for anything you will ever go through to only be bad or to only be

good have you ever eaten a one side of piece of bread nope have you ever flipped a one side a pancake nope have you ever written on a one side a piece of paper nope have you ever flipped a one side a coin nope why not not because it doesn't exist but because it cannot exist it is impossible for anything to exist with only one side both sides are essential for existence are y'all tracking yes okay so guess what happens when my magical little mind conjures up I shouldn't call it magical my mysterious little mind

conjures up a belief whether it be Faith or doubt belief as a traveling salesperson do you understand that your beliefs this is so good I'm so glad I have time to just take my time and teach teach teach okay my beliefs create my be life what's that word everybody shout it out everybody shout it out belie can y'all not read belie believing okay cool that's good y'all got that one right write a different [Music] one okay what's that word belie believing you guys are good okay I got bet you won't get this one sneaky what's

that wordie let's read all three of them at the same time believing believing believing let's read them again believing believing believing now watch this do you understand that believing is a compound word a compound word is a word that contains more than one word okay so what other words this contains watch this you will be living what you're believing even though you be lying what does that mean anything you tell yourself about a future outcome you made it up this is going to be so terrible you you made that up this going to be so

hard you made that up I'll never Gulliver will never make it you made that up this is going to be the greatest thing ever I'm going to write this book and I'm going to be a bestseller you made that up yes I'm going to start a business it's going to be the most successful business in my town you made that up you say Mar what are you saying I'm saying we go through life making up stories about our lives and then we we will be living what we're believing even though we be lying your beliefs

become your be life watch this so what happens when we get this belief in our head belief can't sit still it's a traveling salesman so it jumps on the highway right jumps on the highway travels down to our heart and so the focus in our head causes us to manufacture a belief and the belief that we have travels down and creates a Feeling in our heart now this is so amazing because worry is not actually a feeling it just brings with it a feeling worry is always a focus and it's a focus that carries a

feeling and you know what worry feels like because you can't sleep because your mind races and your heart races and you and then if you you have it if you take it to a four you concentrate on so where you see it so clearly that you know it's you feel like it's already happening you have a panic attack can I get a witness yes the we get a it puts a so we have a focus in our head that manufactures a belief and this belief the more clearly we see this thing that we believe happening

the more it's going to produce a feeling in our heart now if I'm focused on the positive the negative aspect of the fact the feeling in my heart is called anxiety A K A worry now I said end worry that's the name of this video Right End worry but you're not going to end worry if you use worry to produce outcomes that you want more than you want to get rid of the worry like what if I'm worried then people will people will cuddle me if I'm worried all the time then people won't tell me

the truth if I'm always worried then people will I just hope it gets better for you and that's how we Garner attention sometimes sometimes we just worry because Mama worried and that's what we practiced because that's what we saw practice and grandama worried it's not healthy it's not only is it not healthy it's not helpful it it's there's not there nothing hey hey hey nothing good comes out of worry why worry when you can pray yeah but may why Pray when you can worry how that's one that's one way of looking at it if I'm

focused on the negative aspect of the fact it's going to cause me to manufacture so much doubt that the doubt keeps me from doing work but we're going to get that in a minute because this anxiety AKA worried manifest in our heart in the form of worry anxiety attack rapid heart rate shortness of breath sweaty palms sweaty head why here's here's what we're doing actually when we're worri we're we're we're beaming ourselves like Scotty beam me up Scotty from the start Trek we're beaming ourselves into the future and allowing ourselves to feel physically what we

think it's going to feel like in our imagination before we ever get there how many thousands of things do you think in your life you've worried about in the past that never happened at least several at least several thousand so what good did it do you you just wasted all that energy that you could have been using to do something powerful and positive but you wasted it because that's what you're used to doing because you don't have any practice and when you first start doing anything for the first time it feels hard I remember I

remember when I was in elementary school I hope this guitar is tuned I remember when I was in elementary school I saw somebody change chords on a guitar and I thought like how did they move their fingers that fast now that that didn't may not have seem like fast to you but if you tried it and you've never done it before it would seem like fast and then I saw people like change chords really fast really fast like how did they do that oh my goodness my fing then I go [Music] and so I'm thinking

I it's hard it's too hard guitar is too hard to learn how to play let me ask you a question do you not think it would be more helpful to never approach any new activity by first assigning a level of difficulty to it what if we just don't assign level of difficulty what if we just say this is instead of saying oh man I can learn but it's going to be so man I don't Hebrew is so hard oh Greek Is So guitar is so hard learning the language is so hard what if we just

said it is what it is I remember when my son used to come home from school and he'd say Dad math is so hard I'd say son everything's hard if you don't know how to do it walking was hard until you learned it now like why' I ever struggle with this just cuz I was two months old right so if you're focused on the positive aspect of the fact it's going to it's going to cause you to manufacture a belief insert a belief called faith and that faith is going to me cause your heart to

produce the feeling of anticipation you're making me wait okay can youall tell I used to watch a lot of C commercials back in the 70s okay anticipation now what's anticipation so anxiety is wasting present energy on a future outcome that's not desirable to me that's undesirable to me I'm wasting present energy on a future outcome that's undes but watch this anticipation is the energy I get in the present when the outcome I expect in the future is desirable to me when I believe something's going to work it energizes me to do the work oh this

is so Good by by the way I know y going find this hard to believe I got this I literally got this from Romans chapter uh Romans chapter six it's in the Bible I didn't make this up I'm not smart enough to make up stuff like this anticipation can energize you to all you what if what if all the stuff you you've been procrastinate people say I've got a procrastination problem there's not a human being alive who has ever been alive who has a procrastination problem procrastination is not the problem Pro procrastination is the symptom

of the problem what's the problem worry you're worried about it not working so you put it off until later cuz who want wants to work on something now that's probably not going to work anyway this this is starting to get a little bit too Crystal Clear ain't it um so anticipation is the energy I get in the present when I expect the outcome to be favorable in the future so all I got to do is learn how to focus I got to learn how to look for and become more aware of the positive aspect of

all the facts so that I can insert faith into the space where doubt used to live and take over my life and then I will have anticipation and guess what by the way human beings are singularly motivated what does that mean people do things for one reason and one reason only this is why willpower doesn't work people only have one real motivating mover people do what people do because they feel like doing it and people don't do what they don't do because they don't feel like doing it and see your whole life people well just

use your wheelpower man I mean you might as well use a wheelbarrow it'll work just as good as willpower I know one is wheel and one is will but that's what came to my head you say my why do you say willpower doesn't work because willpower is what we attempt to use to overcome what we actually feel like doing are youall tracking so instead of using willpower transform your mind and figure out a way to make yourself feel like doing the thing instead of attempting to make yourself do the thing be not conformed to this

world but be transformed how by the renewing of your mind what does renew me renewing of your mind that word renew means to renovate tearing out the old thoughts replacing them with new thoughts if you tear out old thoughts you replace them with new thoughts your body has to produce new actions are youall tracking and so like literally you can just decide I'm not going to worry anymore from now on when I worry when I feel myself tempted to worry here's what I'm going to do I'm going to ask myself hm what what's the positive

side of this thing that I'm worried about okay what if that happened and then ask yourself how can I make this happen how can I make this positive thing happen instead of this negative thing that I was tempted to worry about happen Okay what are the steps oh I could do this and then I could do that and then I could do this and then I could do that oo that would be so cool and so now your mind is working to figure out a solution instead of just replaying the disaster that is imminent because

you're not going to take action while you're worried about it so the focus in our head creates a feeling in our heart this is the driving force of humanity right here you got to learn how to make yourself feel like being healthy you got to learn how to make yourself feel like doing the work you got to learn how to make yourself feel like praying feel like reading the Bible feel like having communication with the people that you love you got to make yourself feel like it instead of trying to make yourself do it so

good and what happens is you write press so hard you lose the tip on your pen then you lost your other pen oh here it is and there's the tip okay found all of it okay so then the next thing that happens is the feeling in our heart produces a function in our hands what's the function in our hands well it depends what aspect of the fact are you focused on the positive or the negative if you're focused on the positive aspect of the fact then you're manufacturing a belief called faith and you are that

faith is traveling down to your heart and creating the feeling of anticipation know how excited you get like anticipation energizes you remember Christmas Eve when you were a kid and you knew you were getting something because you snuck into your parents room and you saw it and your parents sent you to bed early because they were sist like mine were and they made you go to bed early only on Christmas Eve and then you go up there and the only thing you and your siblings can't do is what go to sleep why because your expectation

of what was going to happen the next day was so energizing you couldn't sleep right that's what ant anticipation feels like what if you learned how to tell yourself a better story about the future of the work you're working on today it'll energize you to get the work done do you see why I call this biblical mind science okay watch this the fun if I'm focused on the positive aspect of the fact and I'm my getting the feeling of anticipation the function in my hand is called Power I now have the power to act I

can finally do something I can finally get off go but wait there's more what if what if Focus I'm focusing my head I'm focus on the negative aspect of the fact and the belief that I'm Conjuring up is doubt and then the feeling in my heart is anxiety Then the function in my hand is powerlessness powerlessness I'm so focused on what's not there that I can't see what's there and I have no power to act this thing right here the Bible tells us a lot about this thing right here if we understand this better we

can eliminate this better watch this Hebrews chapter 11 verse one now Faith is the substance of things hoped for we're going to come back to this the evidence of Things Not Seen so so what's the first word in that verse now not Faith now so what if from now on from the for the rest of your life what if when you read that verse you looked at now the word now now Faith you didn't look at it as just like telling you what time but you looked at it as an adjective to describe the kind

of Faith now Faith now now Faith is the kind of Faith Noah had to have in order to work on an ark in the desert for 120 years while everybody in the community was making fun of him he had now Faith now Faith is not procrastination doubt now Faith is now Faith now Faith is the kind of faith that David had when he ran towards the giant that everybody else ran from what kind of Faith now Faith now Faith is the kind of Faith Peter had when he got out of the boat and started walking

on the very waves that threatened to destroy his life had now Faith until it turned into what if this don't work doubt and by the way how did it turn into what if this don't work out because it says when he saw the wind so I have a question for you exactly what does the wind look like see here's one of the things that we know for a fact faith is created in the ears doubt is created in the eyes when he saw the wind boisterous he began to sink and said Lord save me as

long as he was focused on the savior he was fine but when he started focusing on the Wind he got his Focus off of come and started thinking about he realized something after he got out of the boat that i' have figured out before I got out of the [Laughter] boat Jesus said fear not it is I how do I know what you come on see my mind would have automatically gone to what if it ain't him right I'm just being honest like everything about this feels wrong right okay so now Faith is the substance

what does sub mean sub means under under so now Faith so faith is foundational it's something that's under me substance what stand mean to stand upon now Faith is the substance of things hope for hope that word hope is not the word wish it's a well-founded well-rounded expectation for the future oh so now I'm expecting do you realize that every action every action that you take or every action that you forsake is based on what you expect to happen by taking that action have you ever thought of that like if I if I say okay

I'm going to sit in this chair if I believe that one of these legs is too wobbly and it wouldn't hold me there's no universe in which I'm sitting in that chair like I don't know it seems kind of wobbly to me now I'll let somebody else sit in okay y'all saw the other side of me please don't sit in this chair it's got a wobbly leg okay so it's our expectation that creates our action that's why I always say expectation is a human being's greatest superpower but your problem is nobody ever taught you how

to empower your expectations you only know how to disempower your expectations you know how to expect things not working out and you're better at that than you are expecting things to work out why because you got you know here's what's amazing before you have an experience like before you have a really really great experience in your business in your relationships in your health whatever before you have a really great experience you don't really know what it feels like you have zero practice but you have so many memories of things that didn't turn out how you

thought they would and so what you do as a human being you take your past experiences you project them on the screen of your future you recreate the past and think you're living in the present and all you're doing is turning tomorrow into yesterday and you never get around to living because all you're doing is existing how many you on tracking wave at me if you're tracking so now faith is where I stand on the things I expect it's now now Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence what's the word evidence mean

proof so I'm proving something prove the things they cannot see okay so now this verse sounds so different what kind of faith is it again what kind of Faith now Faith okay now Faith now Faith you know how they do when you're when you're when you're putting a definition so now Faith what is now Faith now faith is where I stand on the things oops I get so ahead of myself when I'm writing sometimes now faith is where I stand on the things I expect while I prove the things I cannot see so now faith

is where I stand on the things I expect while I prove the things I cannot say that's so powerful so now Faith I'm going to do something now why because I'm standing on the things that aren't here yet but I expect them to be here so I'm going to take the next step and expect the step the place where I'm supposed to stand to show up after I take the step now Faith is where I stand on the things I expect while I prove the things I cannot see by the way this is so powerful

because right before no not right before right after right after the whole Hall of Faith so-called in Hebrews chapter 11 is Hebrew chap Hebrews chapter 12 and it literally shows us how to do exactly how to do everything we just talked about wait what so so let me let me make this sync I'm going to go back to this guy well no I'm not uh yeah I am I'm going to go back to this guy where's he at there he is that guy this is you this is how I can become a more powerful version

of this person where where I'm always staying where I'm always staying up here and up here and up here and up here and I can live here like I don't have to I don't have to I don't have to live down here visit up here every now and then that like that's how people think they're supposed to live like oh this is just normal I'm just a regular I'm just normal human no you're not you're not just a regular human being if you are if you are Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb you have

the spirit of God living inside of you and what that tell what the Bible tells me that means in Romans chapter 8 is if the spirit of him that raised up Christ from the dead dwell in you by the way I want you to think about that phrase if the spirit of him that raised up Christ from the dead dwell in you why is it saying that because there's never been an an event in human history that required more power than to take a man who was dead for three days and raise him up and

he raises himself up by his own Spirit never has there been more power shown demonstrated on planet Earth than that and here's what it's saying if the spirit of him that raised up Christ from the dead dwell in you then he which the spirit which raised ra Christ from the dead shall also Quicken make alive your mortal Your fleshly Body by his spirit that dwelleth in you now so many people think that's only talking about the resurrection but it's not if you read it in the context of Romans chapter 6 Romans chapter 7 Romans chapter

8 you will see that it's talking about the resurrection power of Christ empowering you to do the works that are contained in his word go read it I'm not making that up remember remember at the end of chapter 7 Romans chapter 7 it says um um oh Wretched Man that I am he said the things that I would do I do not and the things I would not do those I do so is no more I that do it but s that dwelleth in me and he gets down to the last verse in Romans chapter

7 he says oh Wretched Man that I am who shall deliver me from the body of this death oh that's the question wait for the answer I thank God that through are Lord in fact I got to read it now cuz I I got so excited about the next thing I forgot the verse I I got to read this to you cuz this is so so extremely this is God is giving us this so we can live our lives this way not so we can just have something to pontificate about on Sunday morning okay watch

this it says um oh yeah so so oh we're a Wretched Man that I am who shall deliver me from the body of this death there's therefore now no condemnation oh no wait there's another verse after that um oh it's in it's in chapter 7: 25 I thank God through our Lord Jesus Christ so that when that with the mind I serve the law of God but with the flesh I serve the law of sin there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus that's not the end of the sentence who

what walk not after the flesh but after the spirit so when the spirit speaks to me I go in that direction when the spirit speaks to me I go in that direction and I have this and I feel that and I do this so there's there no for now no condemnation then um walk uh in Christ Jesus walk not after the flesh but after the spirit for the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death so when you read if you if you don't

understand um Romans chapter 7 when you're reading Romans chapter 7 that when it refers to the law in Romans chapter 7 it's referring to three different laws there are three different laws that are talked that the Apostle Paul is writing about when he wrote to the church at Rome there are three different laws there's the law of the scripture which is from my master there are the law of sin which is in my members and there's the law of the spirit which is in my mind we have to understand what those three laws do in

order for us to be able to claim the stuff that's going on in chapter um 8 okay now remember I said in in in I I'm I'm I'm really getting ready to land a plane I promise we will be done no later than noon okay I'm just kidding so just want to see if you are paying attention Okay so Hebrews chapter 11 Hebrews chapter 11 names all these people by fath now now Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of Things Not Seen for by it the elders obtained to good report um

uh where am I looking for Hebrews okay sometimes I can talk and read at the same time other times not so much okay so says now Faith is the substance of things hope for the evidence of Things Not Seen for by the elders obtained a good report through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that things which are made were not made of things which do appear okay watch this this is this is this is this whole chapter illustrated by the way at the end of chapter 7 at

the end of chapter 11 it tells us that some people it ends like this but don't think that the Bible is a genie lamp and God's a genie and faith is your magic incantation okay just want to make sure we all on the same page okay it says um verse 32 and what shall I say more what shall I more say for the time would fail me to tell in other words I'm running that time to tell of Gideon of Barra and Samson of Jeff of David also and Samuel and of the prophets who through

faith subdued kingdoms wrought righteousness obtained the promises stopped the mouths of lions quench the violence of fire escaped the edge of the sword out of weakness were made strong now doesn't this make our stuff seem really infantes by comparison quench violence of fires escaped the edge of the sword out of weakness were made strong wax Valiant and fight turned to flight the armies of the alien when women received their dead raised to life again and others were tortured wait a minute is he talking about wait what happened and others were tortured wait we were having

all this Victory and now all of a sudden you're talking about torturing others were tortur tortured not accepting Deliverance that they might obtain a better Resurrection what does that mean um if you're faithful onto death he'll give you a Crown of Life and others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings yay moreover bonds and imprisonment they were stoned they were saw aunder they were tempted they were slain with a sword they wandered about in sheep skins and goat skins being destitute Afflicted and tormented that means literally the Romans would take people and sew them up

in sheep skins and goat skins and put them in the arena and let go of wild animals and let those wild animals come and eat these people because they believed in Christ that's what it's talking about so don't think of it as some magic potion is going to make everything turn out the way you like can you be okay if God God's ordained purpose for your life is that everything doesn't feel okay okay these all having obtained a good report oh wait wait I I skipped a verse verse 38 of whom the world was not

worthy they wandered in the deserts and mountains and dens and caves of Earth what were they doing they were hiding from those who persecuted them and wanted to kill them these all having obtained a good report through faith received not the promise can you have faith when you don't receive the promise we ain't heard sermon on that lately God having provided some better thing for us that they without us should not be made perfect then it says in chap 12:1 wherefore seeing we're compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses and I've heard so

many preachers say this is talking about people up in heaven they went on before us now they're watching us let me ask you a question you're in heaven are you watching Earth's Channel no I don't think so that's not what that's saying it's not talking about those people witnessing us it's talking about their testimony witnessing to us about the benefits of being faithful he said wherefore let see we are so comous about with a great a cloud of witnesses let us lay aside every weight that's every burden everything that weighs us down all the stuff

you're worried about lay it aside put it down stop carrying it around with you just because you're used to it and the sin that does which does so easily beset us and run with patience by the way the sin that does so easily beset us what's beset means stop hinder apprehend us what does it what is the sin that so easily beset us well the whole chapter is talking about faith so what's the sin that so easily besets us it's called doubt let us lace doubt aside like I'm not making any of this up it's

in the Bible we just have to read it little slower the sin does so easily Bes us and let us run with patience patience is persistent consistent endurance why do I need persistency I need persistency because the race is hard why do I need consistency I need consistency because the race is long there's run with patience the race that is set before us how do I do this though how do I do this this is where it gets good I'm I'm about to wind I'm about literally we're Circle in the plane put your tray tables

up in your seat backs in the upright position here's how we do it looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith he finished it when he authored it he authored it when he finished it he's not worried about what's going to happen because what's a moving picture to us is a still shot to God it's a completely finished production so worry is waste and the greater the worry the greater the waste here's what it says looking unto Jesus that's not saying go outside and listen to for the Angels going no looking under Jesus

means look at how he did what he did if you want to know how to do what you're supposed to do looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith who what for the joy that was set before him don't miss that you know what brings Joy anticipation brings Joy who this joy that was set before him endured the cross wait a minute wait a minute endured the cross the Roman cross the brutality of the torture and the scourging and the mocking and the pain he endured that how by setting the joy before him

that's what it says setting the joy looking on Jesus fin our faith who for the joy that was set before him did what endured he endured the cross he endured the difficulties of his assignment by focusing on the joy that he set before him the joy that he set before he was so focused on what was going to happen on the other side of the pain that it gave him the strength to endure you're so focused on the pain and the difficulty that you ignore what's on the other side of the pain and go back

to the circle of sameness and keep turning to Mar tomorrows into yesterdays looking unto Jesus the author and finish of our faith who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross despising the shame and sat down at the right hand of the Throne of God now what is it how do I set the joy before me here's what here's what I see this is saying and maybe you can if I'm wrong please let me know but I don't think I am Jesus endured the difficulty of his assignment which is the greatest Injustice

in world history how do I know that because he who is Holy harmless undefiled separate from Sinners who needed not daily as those High priests offer sacrifice first for his own sins then for the sins of the people he died on a cross with Sinners for Sinners as Sin there's never been a greater Injustice but he endured it and the scripture is telling me that if I want to endure the difficulties of my assignment I have to look at his example and do what he did who for the joy that was set before him so

he was so focused on what was going to happen after the pain was over it made the pain bearable this is so good what was he focused on what it says who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross despising the shame and is set down on the right hand of the Throne of God that was the joy set before him being Reed with the father wait there's more with us in him in Heavenly places what he's like when I'm done with this I get to redeem my people to myself myself and

I will get to bring them to the father with me in my father's house or many mansions if it were not so I would have told you and I go to prepare a place for you that where I am there you can be also what if you learned to discipline your mind in such a way that you were so focused on the intended outcome that you were able to Bear any pain to make it happen that's called thought replacement we have to learn how when we're in the moment when we are in the moment to

replace the anxious apprehension of the outcome we don't Desire with a joyful anticipation of the outcome we do desire in the moment when I am tempted to doubt the most that's when it's most important for me to replace everybody say replace repace for me to replace the anxious apprehension of the outcome I don't Desire with the joyful anticipation of the outcome I do desire desire and that's how I end worry and brainwash wash all that doubt dirt out of my mind myself to overcome procrastination and take action aren't you glad God put it in the
