Hi, Vogue France. It's Hailey and I'm in Paris tonight getting ready to go to my Rhode party. I'm super excited.
So I'm going to walk you guys through how I prep my skin before I get my makeup done. So starting off, I always go in with Rhode Glazing Milk. You already know.
I like to do a pretty generous amount of this because it just soaks right into the skin and gets the skin really dewy and hydrated and glazed. And I feel like it really helps all of my other products sink in that I put on top of it. So starting with that.
Next I go in with the Peptide Glazing Fluid. I probably do, like, four pumps. These layer so nicely together and they're just really lovely prep for the skin.
Take it down all the way to the chest and neck. On top, Barrier Restore Cream. Always, it's a fresh bottle.
I always like to do a more rich cream when I'm going to get my makeup done. If you know, you know. I love the Weleda Skin Food.
And, it's so creamy and rich, so you really only need a tiny bit in the areas where I feel like I get a little bit more dry under my makeup. And for me, that's around the nose, that's under the eyes. My eyes are really sensitive, especially when I sleep.
They tear up and they get irritated so I feel like this actually really helps me a lot with that. It's so juicy and dewy. So one trick that I like to do sometimes is, I like to go over the top of all the skincare I just layered one more time with the Glazing Milk, but I like to take a really sheer, glowy highlighter or glow drops.
These are the Chanel ones, the. . .
Healthy Glow Highlighting Fluid. So what I do is, I take the Glazing Milk, put a couple drops in my hand, and then do, like, two pumps of the Healthy Glow, maybe one more drop, and then mix that up. I do this for my body as well.
Basically just. . .
work that into the skin and it gives such a healthy, natural. . .
See the difference? Because now you have the actual glow in there, from the highlight. So nice.
So nice. Can't forget about the lips. I'm going to grab.
. . Which flavours are these?
Peptide lip treatment. This one is in Salted Caramel. We just launched our tinted lip treatments today, so I'm really excited.
That is a big part of what we're celebrating tonight as well as launching here in France today. Got to make sure the lips are nice and juicy. Okay.
And last thing I like to do, because it just feels nice, is brush up my brows, get them ready for makeup. And there you have it. That is how I prep my skin for my makeup when I'm doing my own makeup and when I'm about to get my makeup done.
Usually if I had some more time and I wasn't rushing to get ready, I would probably do a mask and maybe an under eye mask to prep the skin. But this is my go-to, step-by-step skin prep. So I hope you enjoyed this.
Thank you for watching and I'll see you next time.
