They begin a whole new era for the Mac. With the incredible features of Apple Intelligence, the Mac is more capable and versatile than ever. Combined with the power-efficient performance of Apple silicon, it's the best personal computing experience on the planet.

And when it comes to versatility, there's no other computer in the world like Mac mini. Mac mini puts incredible performance and connectivity into a compact form. In fact, you can find mini everywhere: in homes and offices, on concert tours, and in server farms.

And now, by redesigning it around Apple silicon, we've done something huge. Actually, we've done something mini. This is the new Mac mini.

Built for Apple Intelligence, it's got gigantic performance, but it's even more mini. To tell you more, here's Shloka. ♪ Epic music ♪ - The new Mac mini is smaller, yet even more powerful, so it's more versatile than ever.

Let's start with its design. The new mini is just five by five inches, so it takes up much less space on your desk compared to the previous generation. You get a wide array of ports on the back, and for the first time, ports on the front for more convenient access.

This new design is enabled by the incredible power efficiency of Apple silicon and an innovative thermal architecture. Air is guided to different levels of the system, and all of it flows through the foot. We use materials more efficiently, too.

The smaller enclosure is made with an impact extrusion process that reduces the amount of aluminum used by 85 percent. The new mini also contains over 50 percent recycled content, and it's manufactured with 100 percent renewable electricity. To reduce emissions from transportation, we prioritize nonair shipping.

This makes the new Mac mini the first carbon neutral Mac. Next, the new mini jumps from M2 all the way to M4. So you get a big boost in performance in an incredibly small design.

With M4 CPU, you get four performance cores and six efficiency cores. So mini delivers up to 1. 8x faster performance than with M1.

The 10-core GPU brings hardware-accelerated mesh shading and ray tracing to the mini for the first time, so graphics-intensive apps and games are up to 2. 2x faster. And the Neural Engine is over 3x faster on Mac mini with M4 than with M1.

With all this performance, Mac mini with M4 is a great system for PC users switching to a Mac. In fact, compared to the top-selling PC desktop in its price range, the new mini is one twentieth the size. And yet it's up to an astonishing 6x faster for workloads like video editing.

And if you're upgrading from an Intel-based Mac mini, performance is up to 13x faster with M4 for tasks like speech-to-text processing, so you can use AI to instantly apply video effects and generate captions for a ton of posts with the upcoming version of Final Cut Pro. And when you combine the power of M4 with the amazing features of Apple Intelligence, Mac mini is even more capable. Here's Allegra to tell you more.

Apple Intelligence also transforms system experiences that you rely on, like Siri, which can now answer thousands of questions about features on your Mac.

Don't know how to combine PDF files in Preview? Just ask Siri, and it'll give you a step-by-step guide. And when Siri gains the ability to tap into your personal context and take actions for you, it'll make so many tasks faster and easier.

Like when you're getting ready for a trip and need your passport number, you won't have to go searching through your photos, notes, and emails. Siri will be able to find the number and fill it in for you. That only scratches the surface of all of the ways that Apple Intelligence transforms the things you do every day on your Mac.
