believe not how shall ye believe if I tell you of heavenly things and no man hath ascended up to heaven but he that came down from heaven even the son of man which is in heaven let's hear that again and no man hath ascended up to heaven now if Jesus is saying upon death we don't go to heaven then where do people actually go when they die well in this video we are going to discuss where exactly people go when they die now to truly understand the idea of whether people go to heaven after death
we need to First understand what exactly people Define as Heaven if you are like 99% of the population you once believed that right after you die if you have been a good person and followed all of God's commands ments you will go straight to heaven in fact many people still believe that heaven is a place they are going to end up when this life is over it is a place that people think about especially when someone they love is nearing the end of life or when they die for most people the thought of Heaven warms
the heart and brings Comfort to the soul views on the afterlife vary but the majority of adults say they believe in heaven popular ideas of Heaven picture it as a fanciful place where Spirits sit on clouds playing Harps or float around in nebulous space even the idea of dead relatives looking down and watching over you most people's words of comfort after passing is telling their loved ones that they are in a better place now but is that really true to discover if we really go to heaven and dwell with God right after we die we
must start from the begin beginning now in Genesis chap 2 God spoke about creating man there are two things God used to create man that we can comprehend one he used us to make the body the verse States and the Lord God formed man of the Dust of the ground and he placed within us his Spirit the verse States and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and Man became a living being to understand what happens to us when we die we must understand the fact that God specifically created the temple we use today
and gave us the Breath of Life with his breath we became a living Soul now I am not the one saying this the Bible States this in Genesis 2 and the Lord God formed man of the Dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and Man became a living being in fact the Book of James chapter 2 confirms this idea by stating for as the body without the spirit is dead so faith without works is dead also okay so now we know that the body and spirit are separate but God
made them become one in order for us to become a living being now the question is if we are no longer living what exactly happens to the body and the spirit do these two aspects separate once again or do they both go into heaven with us luckily Ecclesiastes 12 answers this question directly just so I don't place the whole verse I'll summarize it for you in Ecclesiastes Solomon advises young people to remember and honor God in their youth before the challenges of old age set in Solomon describes aging as a time when physical strength and
senses de diminish vision and hearing fail teeth are lost and Mobility decreases fear of falling and a general decline in Vigor are highlighted the text then metaphorically speaks of Life ending when it Compares death to a silver cord snapping a Golden Bowl breaking and a pitcher shattering symbolizing the fragility and inevitable conclusion of life now pay very close attention because this is the most important part of the chapter verse 6 States remember your creator before the silver cord is loosed or the Golden Bowl is broken or the pitcher shattered at the fountain or the wheel
broken at the well then the dust will return to the Earth as it was and the spirit will return to God who gave it did you catch that okay let rewind then the dust will return to the Earth as it was and the spirit will return turn to God who gave it so Solomon concludes that dust will return to dust and the spirit or the Breath of Life God gave us will return back to God Ecclesiastes chapter 3 also emphasizes on this idea when it discusses that there is a time for everything it states and
then I realized that God is letting the world go on its sinful way so that he can test Mankind and so that men themselves will will see that they are no better than Beasts for men and animals both breathe the same air and both die so mankind has no real advantage over the beasts what an absurdity all go to one place the dust from which they came and to which they must return okay let's hear the important part again all go to one place the dust from which they came and to which they must return
now does this remind you of a curse that God gave someone let's return to Genesis to see the curse that God placed upon man when Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of knowledge before God forbade them from the garden he cursed Adam and stated because you have heeded the voice of your wife and have eaten from the Tree of which I commanded you saying you shall not eat of it cursed is the ground for your sake in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life both thorns and thistles it shall
bring forth for you and you shall eat the herb of the field in the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground for out of it you were taken for dust you are and to dust you shall return honestly there is not much to explain because God himself stated to man for dust you are and to dust you shall return which means that there is no physical body in heaven right now the person you love dearly who has past their body is not looking down on you and watching you
sorry to be the bearer of bad news now we have learned that the dust will return to the Earth as it was and the spirit will return to God who gave it this happens because God created us from the dust of the ground and the Breath of Life came from him after we die these two separate so our body never enters Heaven it decays and returns to dust there is no physical body of anyone who is currently in heaven now we know where the body goes but where exactly does our spirit our soul that has
been holding our vessel go you might be thinking now this one must go to heaven the truth is it doesn't go to the heaven that most people think okay let me break this down for you pause do you want to read the book of Giants or the book of Adam and Eve maybe even the early life of Jesus lucky for you we have prepared a PDF file filled with thousands of apocryphos and helpful resources obviously you can do this research yourself but why work hard when we got you covered check the link in the description
also don't forget to subscribe let's return to the video okay so we know that according to the Bible the body that you have right now will never enter Heaven in fact it will Decay and return turned to dust which was its original form so what happens to the breath the spirit the soul that God has placed within us will that go to heaven to be with God and live in eternity if not then where exactly does your soul go before I give the answer let's dive deep into the scripture so you understand a bit more
now in Genesis 35 Jacob's second wife Rachel had her second child Benjamin her first child was Joseph the king of Egypt the Bible States this before Rachel died when she had Benjamin then they journeyed from bethl and when there was but a little distance to go to ephrath Rachel labored in childbirth and she had hard labor now it came to pass when she was in hard labor that the Midwife said to her do not fear you will have this son also and so it was as her soul was departing for she died that she called
his name benoni but his father called him Benjamin so Rachel died and was buried on the Way to Bethlehem and Jacob set a pillar on her grave which is the pillar of Rachel's grave to this day did that make sense let's hear it once more and so it was as her soul was departing for she died so Rachel died and was buried on the way to ephra so Rachel died her body was buried and her soul departed from her this is what happens to every single person when they die their body stays on Earth and
returns to dust while their Spirit departs from their body but let's follow this spirit and see exactly where it went to really understand where your spirit goes after you die let's move to the story that Jesus told about Lazarus and the rich man just stay with me this will all make sense soon now let's read part of Luke 16 it states there was a certain rich man who was splendidly clothed and lived each day in mirth and luxury one day Lazarus a diseased beggar was laid at his door as he lay there longing for scraps
from the rich man's table the dogs would come and lick his open sores finally the beggar died and was carried by the angels to be with Abra abam in the place of the righteous dead the rich man also died and was buried and his soul went into hell there in torment he saw Lazarus in the far distance with Abraham father Abraham he shouted have some pity send Lazarus over here to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue for I am in anguish in these Flames but Abraham said to him son
remember that during your lifetime you had everything you wanted and Lazarus had nothing so now he is here being comforted and you are in anguish besides there is a great Chasm separating us and anyone wanting to come to you from here is stopped at its Edge and no one over there can cross to Us Now That's The Story of Lazarus and the rich man right now you might be wondering why this story is important well there are three important points of this story that break down where you're Spirit actually goes once you die we know
straight from the story that both the rich man and Lazarus died from what we discussed prior both their souls had left their bodies lazarus's soul went to the place of the righteous while the rich man's soul went to hell now between the places that they both went was a Chasm separating them this is extremely important in order to know where our soul goes when we die soe please pay close attention first let's examine where Lazarus went most versions state that the beggar died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom Abraham's bosom is also
translated as Abraham's side next to Abraham with Abraham and the arms of Abraham since Abraham was a righteous man we know that his soul went to a good place this indicates that the soul of Lazarus also went to a good place but could this same place be the heaven of Eternity could it be the same Heaven that God had promised us in Revelation in John 3:13 Jesus stated no man hath ascended up to heaven the Book of Revelation makes it clear that The Souls of the righteous are not in heaven instead they are likely in
a place waiting for judgment Revelation 69 11 states when he opened the fifth seal I saw under the altar The Souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony they held and they cried with a loud voice saying how long O Lord holy and true until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth then a white robe was given to each of them and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer until both the number of their fellow servants
and their Brethren who would be killed as they were was completed so it seems that people like Lazarus who have done good on this Earth may not be in the heaven that most people think but their souls are in a place waiting for judgment waiting for the last day Jesus stated in John 6:40 for my father's will is that everyone who looks to the son and believes in him shall have eternal life and I will raise them up at the last day if we were sent directly to heaven when we die Jesus would not need
to say that he would raise us up again on the last day nor would there be Souls waiting for judgment to receive their Eternal bodies and be with God again in fact Revelation chap 21 describes the final days stating then I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth for the first Heaven and the first Earth had passed away and there was no longer any sea I saw the holy city the New Jerusalem M coming down out of Heaven from God prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband and I heard a loud voice
from the throne saying look God's dwelling place is now among the people and He will dwell with them they will be his people and God himself will be with them and be their God this indicates that the current heaven where the righteous souls are may not be the final dwelling place where God himself will dwell with his people the main idea here is that Lazarus went to a place where all righteous people who die go and the Bible makes it clear that even Abraham dwells in this place since no man has ascended to the heaven
where God dwells our assumption is that this place may not be the final Heaven that everyone thinks given that fact we know that it is not the heaven described in the Book of Revelation but the truth is we still have not answered the question of where exactly Lazarus soul went if it was not heaven don't worry we will get there but first let's cover where the rich man went the King James version of the Bible States the rich man also died and was buried and in hell he lift up his eyes being in torments however
many other versions use the word place of the dead or Hades for example the new King James version States the rich man also died and was buried and being in torments in Hades so the right word to use is Hades not hell you might be a bit confused but let me explain why the term Hades refers to the realm of the Dead the underworld or the grave in the New Testament Hades is often used to describe a place of temporary afterlife for the dead before the final judgment many people are confused by the term Hades
because they think of Hades as referring to hell that is not correct the word Hades actually refers to the dwelling place of the dead it's kind of a holding area for disembodied Spirits the good who die go to Hades the bad who die go to Hades still confused okay let's move to the Bible to prove this point now we are almost there guys stay with me we are going to move to when Jesus was nailed on the cross with the two thieves Luke 23 reads a signboard was nailed to the cross above him with these
words this is the king of the Jews one of the criminals hanging beside him scoffed so you're the Messiah are you prove it by Saving yourself and us too while you're at it but the other criminal protested don't you even fear God when you are dying we deserve to die for our evil Deeds but this man hasn't done one thing wrong then he said Jes Jesus Remember me when you come into your kingdom and Jesus replied truly I tell you today you will be with me in Paradise most people when they read this verse think
that it means Jesus went to heaven and so did the thief well not exactly according to acts chap 2 Jesus actually went to Hades after the disciples had seen proof of Jesus coming back to life Peter gave a sermon at Pentecost where he stated he for seeing this spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ that his soul was not left in Hades nor did his flesh see corruption this means that when Jesus died during the 3- day before he resurrect Jesus soul went to Hades but his soul was not left there however for most people
who die there Soul goes to Hades but stays there until judgment furthermore Jesus's body died and he was buried but his body never decayed like most most people another version of this verse States David saw what God was going to do in the future and so he spoke about the resurrection of the Messiah when he said he was not abandoned in the world of the Dead his body did not rot in the grave everyone when they die their soul goes to the world of the dead and their bodies decay in the grave but this did
not happen to Jesus instead Jesus Soul returned from Hades or the world of the dead and his body resurrected instead of decaying The Book of Revelation even emphasizes on this idea because in chapter 20 it states and the Sea gave up the Dead who were in it death and Hades gave up the Dead who were in them and they were judged each one of them according to what they had done this means not every single person in Hades committed bad Deeds some people were righteous While others others unrighteous and on Judgment Day when Jesus comes
again according to revelation everyone will be released and judged accordingly now hopefully this was able to prove the idea but for those who are still confused and not 1,000% sure if Hades holds the righteous and the unrighteous let's go back to the story of the rich man and Lazarus because there is an important point I still have not discussed the story States the rich man also died and was buried and being in torment in Hades he looked up and saw Abraham a long way way off with Lazarus at his side Father Abraham he called out
have mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue because I am in agony in this flame son Abraham said remember that during your life you received your good things just as Lazarus received bad things but now he is comforted here while you are in agony besides all this a great Chasm has been fixed between us and you so that those who want to pass over from here to you cannot neither can those from there cross over to us the King James version translates this to
Great Gulf which means that both terms describe an obstacle that is difficult to pass a great Chasm and a great Gulf would both stop you in your travels this Great Gulf or Chasm is fixed so that no one can pass from one side to the other once you are in Paradise you stay there until the day of judgment once you are in torment you stay there until the day of judgment this means every person who has ever died has entered Hades in this same Hades there is a section for paradise and a section for torment
the great Chasm separates the righteous Souls from the unrighteous even in Luke 23 as Jesus was about to die he said he was going to Paradise now when you understand that paradise is in Hades it all starts to make sense in fact Paradise is a compartment of Hades in Hades there is a place where the righteous go and there is a place where the wicked go they are all awaiting the day of judgment so there you have it when people die they do not go to heaven or hell immediately this will be decided after the
Judgment Day instead everyone ends up going to Hades or sh which pretty much means the same thing Hades is the Greek equivalent of the Hebrew word sh everyone Waits there for judgment day but now you might be wondering what is this so-called Hades World actually looks like well the Book of Enoch describes this perfectly in The Book of Enoch Enoch describes many Heavenly things that he had seen one of those places was shol as mentioned earlier Shel is the Hebrew word for Hades Hades is the Greek word for shil anyway Enoch visited shol and stated
then I went to another place and he showed me in the west another great and high mountain and of hard rock and there was in it four Hollow places deep and wide and very smooth how smooth are the hollow places and deep and dark to look at then Raphael answered one of the Holy Angels who was with me and said unto me these Hollow places have been created created for this very purpose that the spirits of The Souls of the Dead should assemble therein yay that all the souls of the children of men should assemble
here and these places have been made to receive them till the day of their judgment until their appointed period till the period appointed till the great judgment comes upon them I saw the spirits of the children of men who were dead and their voice went forth to heaven and made suit pause I just want everyone to note that according to Enoch this place that the spirit of the Dead go to wait for judgment is separate from heaven where God stays okay let's return to Enoch I saw the spirits of the children of men who were
dead and their voice went forth to heaven and made suit then I asked Raphael the angel who was with me and I said unto him this Spirit whose is it whose voice goeth forth and maketh suit and he answered me saying this is the spirit which went forth from Abel whom his brother Cain slew and he makes his suit against him till his seed is destroyed from the face of the Earth and his seed is annihilated from amongst the seed of men then I asked regarding it and regarding all the hollow places why is one
separated from the other and he he answered me and said unto me these three have been made that the spirits of the Dead might be separated and such a division has been made for the spirits of the righteous in which there is the bright spring of water and such has been made for Sinners when they die and are buried in the earth and judgment has not been executed on them in their lifetime here their Spirits shall be set apart in this great pain till the great day of judgment and Punishment and torment of those who
curse forever and retribution for their Spirits there he shall bind them forever and such a division has been made for the spirits of those who make their suit who make disclosures concerning their destruction when they were slain in the days of the Sinners such has been made for the spirits of men who were not righteous but Sinners who were complete in TR transgression and of the transgressors they shall be companions but their Spirits shall not be slain in the day of judgment nor shall they be raised from then in an easy to understand language this
is pretty much what Enoch saw and said an angel Raphael showed me a high mountain with four deep and smooth Hollow places these places were created for the spirits of The Souls of the Dead to gather until the day of their judgment I saw the spirits of dead humans including the spirit of Abel who was killed by his brother Cain Abel's Spirit Cries Out For Justice against Cain's descendants Raphael explained that the hollows separate the spirits of the righteous from those of the Sinners the righteous have a place with a bright spring of water while
the Sinners are in pain until the day of judgment there is also a division for those who were wrong and seek retribution the spirits of Sinners who were not righteous and fully transgressed will remain in their place without being raised on the day of judgment now I know that was a lot but I hope you guys understand now that when people die they don't actually go to heaven instead everyone ends up going to Hades or sh which is a place where everyone's Souls goes whether righteous or not everyone ends up here waiting for Judgment Day
on Judgment Day the decision will be made whether you will go to heaven or hell for eternity hopefully you guys learned something stay tuned for parts 2 and three where we will discuss where the idea of ascending to Heaven came from and when exactly we will be going to heaven [Music]
