Have you ever imagined what a real remake of GTA San Andreas would look like with GTA V's next-gen graphics? Well, I not only imagined it, I made it happen. Inspired by ambitious projects like GTA Vice City Next Gen Edition (which has unfortunately already been banned by Take Twpo, by the way), I decided to recreate the entire GTA San Andreas universe inside my GTA V using an insane selection of mods.
If you're like me and have always dreamed of a GTA San Andreas remake, this video is for you! To start this experience I installed the famous GTA V essential mods Script Hook 5, Script Hook dot net and Packfile Limit Adjuster These mods are the basis for any heavier modification in the game They allow other mods to work correctly and still expand the limits of GTA V, facilitating the entire process and avoiding bugs and crashes And the first major modification I installed was San Fierro & Las Venturas 2. 0 This mod basically brings the city of San Fierro, Las Venturas, the Desert, Bayside and several classic villages from GTA San Andreas into GTA V And of course containing HD vegetation, NPC traffic and ambiance with cars Unfortunately this mod does not have the city of Los Santos and I even asked the creator of the mod for this but he preferred not to make it available to me What can you do, patience .
. . Looking at the bright side is that at least we can still explore practically the entire remaining map of the classic GTA San Andreas within our GTA V And to maintain the 90s atmosphere I installed the No More Modern Traffic mod, which prevents spawning of modern vehicles and increases the presence of classic cars circulating on the streets This mod includes several traffic options, and of course I wanted to install the 90s version After all, it doesn't make sense for you to be on the 1992 GTA San Andreas map and out of nowhere a Smart or another modern car appears It doesn't make sense!
Regarding the characters, I couldn't leave him out: CJ, 100% playable in GTA V thanks to the final CJ Replacement mod. It was undoubtedly the best mod I found because, in addition to changing Franklin's model and appearance to CJ's, it also adds all the classic GTA San Andreas clothes like shirts, pants, shoes, masks, and much more. And a very insane detail is that it also converts CJ's lines of dialogue.
So when interacting with an NPC on the map, instead of hearing Franklin's voices, you'll hear CJ's original lines straight from GTA San Andreas. And this certainly makes the experience much more authentic. And a curiosity is that this CJ used in the mod is actually Insanity CJ, which is that famous modification that leaves the character in HD there in GTA San Andreas , which I even showed in my last video.
And in my opinion, this high-definition look matches the style of GTA V much more than the game's original model, for example. And so that CJ doesn't feel lonely in this world, I installed mods that add characters from the history of GTA San Andreas to GTA V. So it will be possible to hang out with Sweet, Ryder, Big Smoke and even his girlfriend Catalina.
The villains of the story are also available, such as Tenpenny and Pulaski. Now we will be changing the interfaces and HUD. The main mod I used was the HUD San Andreas.
It basically brings the original HUD from 2004, being very well made and complete with life bar, money indicator and time , wanted stars and all available weapon icons. It certainly made a lot of difference . In addition, I installed mods that bring some extra features such as the GTA San Andreas intro screen, loading wallpaper with music and even a mod that brings a round radar, just like in the original GTA San Andreas.
Man, another thing that surprised me was being able to listen to the iconic San Andreas radios again inside my GTA V using an Addon . This Addon adds the best GTA San Andreas radios such as Radio Los Santos. K-DUST Bounce FM CSR 103 and many others All of them containing the legendary songs and their respective icons on the radio wheel For GTA San Andreas lovers like me, driving a car makes the experience much cooler!
Now talking about visuals, GTA V itself has very beautiful graphics to this day. But to make it even better and worthy of a true remake of GTA San Andreas, I decided to install QuantV. Quantv is simply the best graphics mod for GTA V for me.
Depending on the configuration you do, you can leave your GTA V with GTA 6 level graphics, just to give you an idea. But in order not to lose the essence so much, I only installed the basic configuration of the mod to improve the colors a little and enhance the basic effects of the game. It's not that great, but it simply makes my game more pleasant and beautiful to look at in my opinion.
And of course I couldn't leave the vehicles out. With that in mind, I installed several classic cars and motorcycles from GTA San Andreas on my GTA V: Infernus Buffalo Elegy Clover Savanna Comet Super GT NRG500, among many others that marked the game. In addition, I also used a mod that changes the city's service vehicles.
So you'll see taxis, police cars , SWAAT cars and even helicopters with a look directly inspired by GTA San Andreas. And here are some extra mods that I installed to make my game even more immersive. One of them is Gangstar Aim, which basically changes the animation when aiming with the pistol, making the character aim with just one hand in the gangster style.
This reminded me a lot of GTA San Andreas, where CJ did exactly this same animation when his skill was low. of weapons And I looked for GTA San Andreas weapon sound packs for GTA V, but unfortunately I didn't find any. I don't think there is any mod like that.
So why not install a mod that makes the weapon sounds even more realistic? and that's what I did And last but not least the Extended Camera Settings mod allows us to make more advanced settings for the game's camera I configured it to make it more similar to GTA San Andreas which was much more centralized compared to GTA V And I also looked for a mod that would bring GTA San Andreas missions to GTA V or at least something similar But unfortunately I didn't find anything Even so this mini pack certainly gives a taste of what could be perhaps the future remake of GTA San Andreas who knows one day right :) and that's it, I really enjoyed doing this experience within my GTA V and in the future I want to bring more mods for GTA 5, GTA 4 and other games And I wanted to thank jacketplaya, who helped me find several of the mods that I showed here in the video And in case you want to see the opposite, where I transform GTA San Andreas into GTA V using mods it will be appearing there on the screen for you to click and watch.
