do you think 2025 is like the right time for them to start content creation has become one of the leading career choices in the modern era I know this Creator she is minting 80 lakhs a month this is a world which exists content creation is very useful but how do I get started if you are a 18-year- old that is the niche camera recommendations for someone who wants to start zv E10 how do we speak to the camera I don't know why but I always hated cameras how do you guys deal with hate I don't
get much honestly bro the type of hate I'm getting is like multi-racial but I want to understand like how did you manage time when you were in college uh mainly it was so uh first things first welcome back to our I mean the same channel th speak Channel but this time with a different format of content and today we have a person who left his job to do content creation for fulltime and someone who left his college to you know create content fulltime so this podcast is going to be about how can someone probably 50
years old 16 years old 17 18 19 20 year old probably in school or probably in college how should they start content creation and should they even create content right so I think we'll first start with the introductions of each of them I don't think you need introduction bro like I'll probably introduce him like someone who makes 35 laks a month n n that's that's what chat GPD tells if you search who is isan Sharma but uh I am a Creator I make videos on personal development and business the idea is to help people make
a living doing what they love and on the side I a 25% marketing company we work with Brands and we have them grow on social media and that's basically it so bro who are you could you please introduce yourself to my audience okay my name is Sano uh I recently qu my job 6 months back I've been doing YouTube for quite some time mainly telling my own stories and uh recently also doing freelance gigs do for doing production and writing for other people as well I'd like to divide this into multiple parts first based upon
platforms like which platform do you think is like the best one to start so isan I think you are the one who's most active across all the you know platforms so probably I think you should start this yeah I think even before you think about what platform that you want to make content on the first question to ask is why do you want to make content okay and U you don't need to have a very big purpose the I want to change the world you don't have to worry about that just think about why would
making content help you in your life if someone who's like 16 17 watching this video a reason could be to improve your communication skills which was my reason a reason could be to help other students like yourself learn about things like I wanted to make stuff that my 18-year-old self can watch and learn from so have that reason first because that is going to be the Cornerstone around which you will be working every day so that's the first thing what platform to post is basically all about what type of content do you like to make
and who do you want to reach out to and every content bucket has a particular platform for it right if you are great at writing well you're probably going to be focusing on either LinkedIn or either Twitter if you are great at communicating effectively you would be out there on either Instagram or YouTube now between Instagram and YouTube it's just the question of do you want less friction or do you want most friction more people would want to get started they want to start and a foot in the door and for that creating a short
form content is better is easier we'll get them that initial traction that okay you can instantly see 100 views 200 views I think isan pointed out very well ke uh why is the biggest question because if they don't like what they're doing it's not going to go past like two weeks but if it's a choice between YouTube and Instagram at this point definitely Instagram content creation is very useful but how do I get started what's the first step towards creating your first YouTube video you I think the first step is to figuring out your Niche
and it does not have to be one box right if you're 18-year-old that is the niche an 18-year-old exploring his or her life I do agree that picking a very uh specified Niche will get you quicker growth MH uh because then it's easier for the algorithm to put you in a bucket that these people watch watch this this will watch this uh but uh as isan was also pointing out if you want to change people's lives I I think a personal brand is a better way to go so now the next question comes uh to
this like Shalo now I've decided the niche the niche is myself I'm going to talk about myself bro right you're just making it sound so cocky but I want to understand like how did you manage time when you were in college because you were in college for a part of yeah there was a time when I was a college student I was doing one video in a week but I think when I started creation creating content uh feruary May pandemic so I came back so I think me making content in college was probably just like
2 months then I came back um and then it was all remote like offline online classes and then when I went back for another 20 days and it dropped out so I think me my life in college uh doing content is probably 40 days at Max 40 45 50 days and realiz I realized by cont I'd be I'd be letting my content part down and that would be a disrespect to the last two years I have put in and as I said exponential growth all go down interesting yes sir how did you manage time I'll
tell you a secret guys zero social life is probably the one I I'm so sorry I'm interrupting you again uh I don't agree that you have zero social life though I'll tell you I'll tell you how it looks on camera to his private Instagram is that why you're saying that to his private life I would say oh okay kidding in college most people will be like going out every weekend and uh doing parties small vacations and all of that we were all like okay we'll not go out for like 2 three months and then go
on a big trip who is we me and my college friends okay yeah we shared that we will go on two three big trips a year and when people see that they're like oh bro these guys are enjoying so much but behind the scenes we are like working most of the time I did not follow a very strict schedule I would only study when I needed to uh one night before exam whenever there's an assignment you know how assignments are done uh every other time I will be uh mainly working on YouTube what is what
is fun time for you apart from work maybe but that comes up into the part of work right no not really so 16 Co I'm going to San Francisco for 2 days M then 18 you'll make a real about it yes or probably you'll share some experience about it but a real is not that intensive right you cannot separate both of them but I think like it ruins your mindset like once you become a Creator everywhere you look you'll see content like imagine being with your girl you're like having a good time and you're like
Rec so now let's go to the next part which is like the how do we actually present in a video present ourselves in a video like how do we speak to the camera my entire life I've never had friends so I don't know what what is it what how is it to like talk to like a group of people uh so I've been very like in my own world so it was easier for me to talk to the camera cuz it's like a non-living thing something which I'm used to and I've always been talking to
myself I don't know why why that is that's a great I I have like two voices in my head like in movies see I two wolves inside of you bro my I had very humble beginnings like at least you guys started on camera I was like for the first 6 months I never showed my face watching his videos so long and I thought by like bro is like problem I don't know why but I always hated cameras so yeah uh I think when school was ending that is the first time I realized okay this is
something significant that is ending in my life mhm and I barely have any memories any photos any videos out of it that is when I like okay I need to document okay because I want to remember some things right uh around that time I started making videos I was never um confident about my looks like even in real life I started in a boy school you can tell how much confident I would be in an all boy school till like 12th so I think at one point I had to take the conscious decision I made
a whole video okay I was editing it and at at I was editing at at night I feel like and then I like bro this is the time if I don't do do it now I'll never do it again time to to show my face oh okay and in a whole completed video I added a last 30 seconds Mark of the CTA I added like this is the time I show my face and I'm just doing it so that this this hurdle is taken care of so that I'm not uh so whenever I'm thinking of
putting off my face in a video I'm like okay I've already done it it's not something new so that's why that's when I got out of that uh jail of not showing my face but yeah I think uh communicating better uh one thing that helps is writing uh because to structure your thoughts without that you will be mumbling here and there and a lot of the things yeah coming back I think we came back a lot of times here inside the podcast writing also that's a good podcast man that's a good podcast you have to
come back a long time yeah uh so now going back to the next thing like uh do you have any camera recommendations for uh someone who wants to start like let's say some someone with zero budget then someone with around 20 30,000 budget someone with a like one lak budget and someone with like 5 lakh budget five who is starting what's a zero budget zero no I think I think if you're watching this video right now you are good enough you have the equipment to shoot yeah you at least have a good phone cuz pretty
much any uh you it could be a phone it could be a laptop your laptop would have a front webcam your phone would have a front camera and just you're good enough to get started with the the shooting of the video so get started don't worry about that it's okay to have bad video it's not okay to have bad audio in terms of cameras I was always recording videos on my phone so I had Moto G4 just front cameras I used to record my videos um and that was like I think the first one 2
years then I found a secondhand Sony Z V1 Z V1 Z V1 second no interchangeable lens normal one yeah the normal one um I focused on making videos from that then I upgraded to the zv E10 Sony zv e1010 used that for a long time upgrade the lens to the sigma 16 mm I wanted to make a oneliner here ke bro you don't need a good camera you don't need a good mic all you need is a good story to tell and you can be a great content creator very true obviously if you have the
budget then this is the best iPhone you can get for Content creation 16 Pro Max so what this does is that or 16 Pro as well the best part about it is that you can record the video in public and it has an option called audio mix yeah if you're getting an iPhone get a good one if you don't have a camera makes sense yeah I'm against both of you guys you have like a budget of 1 lakh rupees right what I'd actually do is probably get uh like a good mic for like 5,000 rupes
yeah right invest in Sony Z10 yes right a good light yeah probably couple of ring lights and also RGB lights if you want to yeah right and then also sl60 10 15 20 whatever it is now like 552 right 75 and then you still have 25,000 more to buy a phone M right so I'll get the entire video recording kit plus a phone why get just get a this is like if you outside recording a vlog or if you are outside video I think it's more about uh you make huh if you make curated content
you it's better to invest in a camera if you make more about your lifestyle like if you if you want a uh like uh your gym progression or something like a daily re you Cann do it with the camera you have to carry an iPhone shot in the gym while you're eating yeah so now we have spoken about U how to speak on the camera gear and all that stuff now comes to the biggest thing right like how much money did you start making from YouTube before you quit your job um double my job I
would say what's double your job I think uh because YouTube mostly was learning earning from Brand collabs right so it's not as consistent but upward of 2 lakhs I would say so that's the Baseline I go for every month what about you how much money did you start making on YouTube before you quit your college bro I tell the question I think it was uh March of 2022 when I dropped off College uh and that month I made 15 lakhs and that was I knew of no way in which I could continue my education in
my college get a placement which would pay me more than that number in a particular month in hand yeah you could make that in a year probably so I I knew of no way to optimize what I'm doing here in college so the only option was to leave college so that is when I realized what a level we've passed so how much do creators make when they have around 10,000 subscribers I think sponsorship but I was so paranoid about like doing a brand collab with with people on my Channel that I did not do any
I would be very paranoid audence I still do I that this is one of the major reasons why I think I did not take any brand collaboration just talking about it right or the past one year no brand collaborations 50,000 subscribers pay how much money did you make it was very less even then I think maybe 30 40 50,000 how much do you think graders make right now at 50,000 this is this is very weird to tell because I'll give you an example there's a guy who makes College reviews okay and he has a th
followers sub you can't even imagine but he made a collaboration video with lpu collabor college video on every some person who signs up I make rup or something uh every student I get he made that video College review it went viral uh and he made Lup from that thousand subscribers if you are talking about me particularly probably Wasing one or two brand collabs so making like 60 70,000 rupees maybe what about you s similar I think around 50,000 you can charge 30 35 40 for a Branda do you think 2025 is like the right time
for someone to start excellent time to be a Creator it's so crazy by like I know this Creator she is minting 80 lakhs a month what and all she does is Instagram Vlogs it's time of it's time bro she charges she charges 10 lakhs and her video is a is a real is a branded real she works with like the most Massy Brands out there and it blows my mind I think I'll just reply to that gambling platform it's not even gambling platform that she's promoting like genuine cadb promotion legit as a like very normal
companies which you would use 80 80 lakhs per month is actually insane bro it's so crazy how many followers does she has she has like a couple million and she's like minting this is generational wealth that you're talking about multigenerational wealth yeah like it's so insane talking about this I just heard it from a friend of mine and he was like Link in description bro it's so crazy organic like okay I'm I'm respecting it yeah yeah definitely I'm saying that this is a world which exists today and it's not even like she's showing her skin
or or something like genuinely creating content making people laugh that's hard yeah and I respect that and I just want to say this out loud because I want people to realize that this is a actual career right so all the people that you are dising on how do you guys deal with hate I don't get much honestly but yeah I would get like very dedicated haters who would spend what do you mean by dedicated they would write like three different paragraphs in my Instagram DMS telling me how all whatever you're doing is pointless you cannot
do the uh this does not make any sense and you are hurting children but this is like once in a while yeah once in a while and rest of the times you don't yeah as you said right 0.5% dislikes similar what about you how do you deal with hate BR the type of hate I'm getting is like multi-racial multi it it spans continents at this point how do you how do you do it yeah like how do you actually get out of that as I said right like I've never I think I'm so used to
it that it doesn't matter to me anymore it's just a very weird sense of if you cannot SP in anything good that I do I won't care about anything bad that you have to say MH and I think that's a beautiful line by Gary vaynerchuk which I think every Creator or someone who wants to become a Creator should know about uh and I'm operating in a very neutral State of Mind MH so I don't overhype the good comments which I get a lot and that's why I'm also not worried about the negative comments so it's
all like a Nirvana State uh I'm just focused on shipping but the only way to go through it is that you realize that people have just looked a very surface level version of who you are M and anything that they are saying has got nothing to do with you particularly so you have to distance yourself from the content and the person you the brand the Creator okay the faster you do that the better uh would be your mental health uh I've been getting that type of hate from like 202 itself from my college B brilliant
statement it's like you have to separate yourself from you to the Creator or the brand that you're building yeah that also solves half of our problems yeah I personally learned only one thing from this entire podcast uh it's separating you from the brand that you're creating on social media I think I'll take it very seriously after this so that was it uh that was the podcast that was the podcast uh first time we did it but uh yep anyways thank you for watching this video I'll see you again with the next the next podcast you
know I don't play right right I'll put up a good fight just give me the word uhhuh uhhuh
