and to do that we simply need to edit the videos and add some humor and originality first let's get a funny caption or subtitle for the first video to do this we are going to ask our dear friend chat GPT give us a humorous caption and to get a very good caption a trick that I use is that I describe the scenes in the video to chat GPT then ask it for funny and short captions I will leave the prompt I use in the video description all right so as you can see Chachi PT has

given us some captions here in less than 10 seconds you may ask why are we adding this caption you the adding the funny caption makes the video unique and original and it makes the video more humorous and interesting to watch viewers will imagine the caption as they watch this way it will encourage them to comment and also give a like all right so now that we've gotten our caption the next step is editing don't worry we are not going to do anything complicated all we're going to do is to add some uniqueness and put our

caption on it for this step we'll use capcut this is beginner friendly and it's free to use let's open capcut and start a new project by clicking this button next click on modify and set a name for your project once done with that please change the aspect ratio from original to 9x 16 which is the size for a short for Content then hit save now we need to import the video we downloaded I will click here to import the first video next we need to add video to the timeline you can do this by dragging

the video all the way here or just click on the plus icon here all right so we have our video on the track and ready for editing but as you can see this video has no caption therefore all we have to do is to remove the sound and add our own to avoid copyright strike and add the captions as well let's quickly remove the Sound by right clicking on the video then choose extract audio this will separate the audio from the video just click on the audio and hit delete on your keyboard now let's add

your own audio click on audio from the top menu then click here and select commercial next search for the music you want and add it to the track by clicking the plus [Music] icon as you can see the audio is longer than the video therefore we need to cut off the trim to make sure it's the same length as the video to do this just drag the playhead to the end of the video clip then click on the audio now hit W on your keyboard and you will get something like this next let's add the

caption I will go to chat GPT and copy one of the captions guys I like this this one so I will copy it and head back to capcode here drag the play head to where you want your caption to appear for me I want to see the caption from the start so I will drag the playhead to the beginning of the video now click on text from the top menu then click the plus icon and you get this on your right just paste or type in your caption here you can set the font style font

size change colors and if you scroll down you'll see some presets I will go ahead and make some adjustments really quick and show you the final result all right guy let's see the final [Music] result looks good right all right so to save it to your device just click the export from here now name your project if you haven't already then choose where you want to save the video and for the frame rate choose 60 FPS then hit export now let's edit the second video I am talking of the one with Chinese captions or subtitles

first import the video and add it to the timeline guys to translate these Chinese captions to English we need to grab all the text in the video and to do that we need to screenshot the first scene so that we can copy the Chinese text from the screenshot and translate it to English it's simpler than you think let me show you so I will screenshot this first scene since it has a text on it you can do that by clicking the Windows key and the print screen key together now open this tool the link is

in the video description next click here to upload the screenshot then click on the submit and extract button below guys as you can see it has extracted the text from the screenshot now we need to translate it to English and to do that you can use Google Translate or you can simply ask chat GPT translator for you let's use both tools and see the results I will search here Google translate then click on this first result next I will choose English from here and paste the Chinese caption in here as you can see we now

have the English version of the caption and it matches the video now let's use chat PT and see what we get I will ask it to translate these Chinese text to English then put a colon and paste the copy text let's see what comes up all right so I think it's the same but I will go for the one chat GPT gave us so let's copy that and head back to Cap Code but before we add the caption let's play the video first well as you can see it has a voice over therefore we need

to add a voice over as well this is very simple to do and we can do this in cap cut so don't worry all right click on text and add the new caption adjust it by selecting the right font size font style colors and make sure it is not too big on the screen now to remove the caption here we need to add a background to the new caption and you can do that by simply selecting from these presets just choose the one that meets your preference and adjust it to cover the old caption once

done let's add the voice over click on the text and on your right you see text to speech just click on it and you will get these voices to choose from choose the one you like and click on the start reading button when my cat was too afraid you can also use 11 Labs or clipchamp if you like next play the video again to see if there's another caption as you can see there's another caption right here so I will screenshot this caption and repeat the same steps to translate it to English guys let me
