look at the goals you wrote down at the start of 2024 did you even achieve any of them if the answer is no first of all what are you doing second of all that's okay because it is never too late to start and in this video I will be sharing with you exactly how you can transform your life in the last 30 days of 2024 and run into 2025 with a head start I'm ready but are you ready to take control and transform your life there is a common misconception that you can only start working hard after your goals at the start of the year which is simply an excuse to slack off and indulge in the last month of every year during the wondrous holiday season and then the New Year actually does roll around and you are very focused for a week or two but then you fall off again until the next year rolls around again but who says you can't start now start ahead of the start line on December 1st or whenever you see this video and get a head start just like how you have to preview the material in order to study effectively you can set yourself up for success by previewing your new routine before the new year actually starts so you can enter 2025 as your best self and that is the whole winter Arc Trend that has been so popular on social media recently during the coldest months of the year when everyone is slacking off and taking a break you refocus and stay consistent on your goals but if you miss the October 1st start to the winter Arc who said that it is too late no matter what day of the year you are seeing this video the best time to start is now so let's begin with how you are going to Rebrand yourself in this last final stretch of the Year number one is mindset shifts if you've watched any of my past videos you'll know that it always begins with the mindset if you don't have the correct mentality not only will it be very difficult to stay consistent but it's also impossible to change inherently so what is the correct mindset to have first you have to shift your perception of the holiday months everyone views November and December as the months of relaxation celebration and Indulgence which is definitely correct I'm not saying that the holiday months aren't a time to slow down and just enjoy yourself because they definitely are and trust me I am so excited to also take a break from schoolwork and studying and just take the time for myself and enjoy some good food and sleep however let's add a few more understandings on top of that December is also the month of finishing strong and staying disciplined in fact let's call it discipline December I love that so much this year we are going to be having a disciplined December yes you can have fun while staying disciplined and in routine they are not mutually exclusive and in fact they shouldn't be because or else it will be very hard to stay consistent you should always think of your goals as a marathon and not a Sprint not a new goal but a new lifestyle which leads me to my next mindset shift which is consistency why is is it important to start early because when you start on January 1st and you only stay consistent with your goals for one week no change actually happens no change ever happens without consistency but when you start in December even if the change is small it is so much easier when January 1st comes along because you have been consistent for so long already consistency is hard when the change is really drastic which is usually what happens during the New Years when you suddenly Implement 10 different habits at once so instead is important to take small steps and think in the long run always remember that this is a lifestyle shift not a short-term goal and the last mindset shift is to have to get mindset what does that mean I feel like when people think of New Year's goals or New Year's resolutions or any goal in general it is always I have to work out or I have to eat clean that is setting yourself up for failure what do you mean you have to remember you always have a choice when you go out to eat with your friends and you feel like you have to order the salad or when you wake up at 6:00 a. m. and you think you have to go to the gym you start to feel bad for yourself and that is what leads to binge eating or mental breakdowns stop feeling bad for yourself you are not a victim when you are staying disciplined you are choosing to go after your goals and that is a beautiful and privileged thing if you really want to change your goals you need to change your identity people ask me how I can wake up early and go work out at the gym every single morning and make it sound like it is some sort of torture and if it is that mentally taxing for you then of course you can't stay consistent I like and enjoy the feeling of working out in the morning before the rest of the world is awake and even when it is difficult at times when it is cold and dark outside I think to myself and remember how good I will feel after the workout and I want to get out of bed you need to get rid of the victim mentality because when it is emotionally or mentally draining for you to go after your goals then it is impossible to stay consistent you have to know that you are building the life you want for yourself s you are working towards that body that bank account that dream life that you want and that should be exciting and not sad tip number two is to find a focused friend okay this tip is one that differs from person to person because in all honestly I don't follow this tip but I know how helpful this tip can be for people who need motivation or companionship to stay consistent let me Begin by explaining why for me personally I don't like to have a focused friend when achieving my goals first of all I a very quick person which is one of my strengths and weaknesses and I get very impatient easily I love to stay in routine and get things done and frankly not everyone can keep up with me I like to get things done independently because then I can stay in line with my schedule and my desires I can end my gym session early when I want to or wake up 5 minutes earlier if I feel like it which is also why if you've watched my Vlogs you'll know that I personally enjoy studying alone more because I don't have to worry about socializing or talking or having to leave early when I'm not done with my work yet but if I have a focused friend that would definitely be a lot more difficult because I also have to be considerate of their needs and desires and I also have to respect their time and schedule which is totally valid but just doesn't align with my priorities and personality at the moment but of course a balance is always needed and that is not to say that I don't enjoy hanging out with friends I love going on study dates with friends and I always enjoy those moments when I'm hanging out with the people I love but it's just a balance and for me personally I prefer to do things alone so that is my perspective but at the same time I recognize the other side which is having a focused friend to help you stay consistent I think that this is perfect for people who have trouble staying disciplined or keeping promises to themselves I think there are two main types of people who would benefit from having a focused friend first is someone who likes socializing and just loves doing things with other people this is much more common and if you enjoy studying with someone else or going to the gym with another person to talk on the way then yes that is so valid and you should definitely find yourself a focused friend because that will make your goals so much more enjoyable and making it enjoyable is the key to staying consistent and the second type of person is the one who has trouble keeping promises to themselves and staying consistent because yes when you have someone else to wake up early and go to the gym with you then if you respect the other person's time then you will wake up early and show up for your friend but it is also so important to learn to respect your promises to yourself just as much as you respect your promises to to others I am okay without a focus friend because I've learned to trust myself when I tell myself that I will wake up early the next morning even if I don't feel like it I will pull myself out of bed because I promise that to myself why can you pull yourself out of bed when you've promised to meet someone else but not when you promise to meet yourself find a focus friend so you can build those habits out of respect for someone else's time but also learn to give that kind of treatment to yourself so you can also stay consistent when you are alone so this is definitely a tip that takes more consideration and can go both ways so find what works better for you and will help you stay the most consistent whether that is finding a focused friend or doing things alone number three is the power of momentum we are our daily habits and the longer you stay consistent with your daily habits the easier they become this is because of the power of momentum okay so what is momentum in life momentum is the energy that builds over time as you work towards your goal that makes it easier and keeps you going when you wake up early one day it is so hard but if you stay consistent and you wake up early for a week or a month it just gets easier and easier why because of momentum when you stay disciplined and keep that promise to yourself you get a feeling of fulfillment and accomplishment that keeps you going this is why discipline is so important trust me it will get easier so whenever you feel like giving up or find it hard to keep going come back and watch this part of the video don't lose your momentum trust me you will thank yourself later now that we have some overall shifts you need to make what are some actionable steps and winter Arc habits that you can incorporate and start today to transform your life and get ready for the new year note that your winter Arch habits might defer from mine or someone else's and you should always find the habits that work best for you in your schedule these are just some ideas to inspire you and that I plan to incorporate into my every day and you can too number one sleep early wake up early this is so important to me because not only does it help with my energy levels and productivity throughout the entire day but it also helps with your skin your immune Health everything I know it can be so hard especially in college but you can do it and I know that the Freshman flu is huge but I have not gotten sick once since coming to college and my theory is that it's because of my amazing sleep schedule but sleep early wake up early notice that I did not say to get 8 hours of sleep but specifically to sleep and wake up early why why is this important because nighttime is the prime time for your body to be repairing damage and for rebuilding cells and your brain is also resetting during those early hours of the night time from 10: to 12:00 a.
m. so if you aren't sleeping you aren't allowing your body to optimally reset and heal itself and that is also why your skin breaks out or you get sick when your sleep schedule gets messed up so you'd rather sleep from for example 11:00 p. m.
to 5:00 a. m. instead of 3:00 a.
m. to 9:00 a. m.
