we humans are social beings with an innate ability to form interpersonal connections but sometimes God places specific demands on us to be alone do you feel withdrawn from certain relationships lately have you wondered what God is trying to tell you by the unusual signs you have been experiencing Perhaps it is God trying to call your attention to his purpose in this video I will share five signs that God wants you to be alone you will understand what you are going through and I will help you interpret your current experiences so watch this video Until the

End before we continue if you are yet to like this video And subscribe please do so now throughout the scriptures God has called individuals to withdraw from the noisy environment and familiar terrain for aone time with him the Bible says that Jesus called 12 men from their profession and and usual life Endeavors so that they may be alone with him and that he may send them forth so when God wants you to be alone it's for a purpose so you need to recognize these signs so you can respond positively and maximize God's purpose for your

life what are these signs number one a desire for more of God for you to be called to be alone by God there has to be a reason behind the call God stirs this reason so you are not content with the status quo you will not see any reason to break your routine when you are content with the usual happenings if you do not see anything wrong in the system you will not find any reason to change it one of the most important ways God calls you to be alone is to put a desire to

know more about him he plants a desire in your heart to understand more of his ways team nudges a feeling in your heart to know something about him that you did not know before when this desire to unravel a mystery is stirred God calls you not to appear before him with a crowd of people but to come alone the desire to know more about God drove Paul to Arabia to know him he did not confer with men he went to seek God on his own and during those moments of solitude he built his convictions that

strengthened his faith which gave him stability throughout his ministry this desire for more usually go goes beyond the craving for just something normal it is an intense desire to know something you do not yet know it is a longing to understand the part of God you are unfamiliar with it is an invitation to come up hither you may have known some things about God but when he wants to reveal another part to you he calls you higher in Revelations 4 1 John says after this I looked and there before me was a door door standing

open in heaven and the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said come up here and I will show you what must take place after this he already had some Revelations earlier but had to come up to see more John had his Revelations when he was alone on the island of Patmos if you can sense a longing to know more about God rooted deep in your heart God is calling you to be alone with him number two perceived hate hatred from those around you most of the time your desire to be

social and among people is out of a desire for their approval this desire is an internal need that God can only satisfy but most people turn to people to give them that approval many human actions are motivated by the desire to be approved by some people even though they would not state it expressly males want to be liked by females the females want the males to keep their attention fixed on them this desire influences how you speak dress think and act but when God is interested in being with you alone he makes those around you

detest your presence such events are often misunderstood as spiritual attacks or the devil's hand work but if you pay close attention you will Discover it it has its roots in the Bible Moses in the Bible saw an Egyptian quarreling with an Israelite and killed the Egyptian so he could save the Israelites the next day he saw two Israelites disagreeing and he went to settle them as he tried bringing them together one of them quickly asked if he wanted to kill him like he killed the Egyptian it was at that point Moses feared for his life

he knew the news had gone round the painful truth was that Moses was rejected by the ones he helped he had to flee after he noticed the King was after him it was when he was alone tending the Sheep of Jethro that he had the burning bush encounter if his people hadn't rejected him he probably would remain there and not learn how to lead them in the 40 Years of Exile he learned how to lead as a Shepherd leading a sheep because he would later lead a nation to their Promised Land while he was alone

hiding from King Saul David had many encounters where he wrote some chapters of the book of Psalms before he was anointed king he was on the field tending his father's sheep alone he had grown to know God and experience him in ways no one could teach him David could slay Goliath because he had killed The Lion and the bear alone if he never had such an experience he would never have stood before Goliath Joseph the Prime Minister had a similar experience after he had told his family of his dream dreams his siblings sold him into

slavery he was in prison in P aar's house for standing for the truth and spent those years alone those were the periods when God could mold and make him into the perfect shape of a leader if his brothers had not hated him and his dreams they would not have sent him away but you must understand that the Fulfillment of his dream was tied to them sending him away when you notice that those around you you dislike your presence and Company for no reason perhaps God is giv you the sign that he wants you to be

alone you have tried to be interactive and courteous but they do not seem to cherish your presence it could be your family members or your close friends do not take hurt in them be like Joseph who said in Genesis 45 seven but God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a rem on Earth and to save your lives by a great Deliverance he never took offense to what they did because he understood it was part of God's divine plan when you notice that those around you do not accept you don't try to force

approval don't try to bend backward lowering your standards and breaking your convictions to have people accommodate you into their Circle God is instead telling you to be alone take this as a sign sign of being alone with God and not seeking human approval let's consider more signs number three a feeling of disconnection from others this feeling is not from others but flows from you it's a change in your perception of those around you this time they do not dislike you but you are also not intrigued by their presence if you realize that you have lost

connection with being with people and you desire to be alone or you have lost a desire for social media social connections and Gatherings it could be a strong pointer that God wants you to be alone man is a social being and one of man's greatest needs is the desire to feel included God can substitute this Desire with the desire to be alone this feeling makes you automatically shut your door and prefer being alone to being with people I know some people are introverts and personally love their space that is an added entage but this is

a more intense desire to be alone you lose every willingness to do anything social but being alone you must take advantage of this season and not just spend it watching movies playing games or sleeping at home every season has a beginning and an end in your life whether you utilize it it will surely pass this is is why I am trying to help you note the signs so you can take advantage of them the Israelites were prophesied to spend 400 years in slavery it extended to 430 years because Moses was not ready it was not

until Moses was prepared as a deliverer that they were liberated from slavery in Egypt God said 400 years but Moses made it 430 years now you see how important you are to God's agenda you can delay or hasten God's agenda by your willingness to separate yourself and learn from God when you lose a desire to be outside and in the spotlight God is calling you to be alone and with him do not take this disconnection lightly there are still more signs God can bring to your path to let you know he wants you to be

alone number four a desire for purpose and assignment this is perhaps one of the most notable signs when the desire to accomplish your purpose starts brooding on your heart and the burden of your assignment starts appearing more glaring to you God is inviting you to come and learn of him no one can fulfill their purpose on their strength no one can fulfill their god-given assignment just by venturing into it alone you have to be empowered by God this is what Jesus practiced and also taught his disciples after Jesus got baptized he went straight away to

the Wilderness top be tempted by the devil he was alone for 40 days and nights without food or water because he desired to fulfill his god-given assignment when you notice God is stirring a desire to fulfill your purpose you should not try to rush out rushing out is not the first step the first step is to be alone with God to get the details of the assignment and what God would want you to do no man has the details of your assignment except God and it is only by keeping a secret from him that you

will find these details when Jesus returned the Bible records that he returned in the power of the Holy Spirit he became Anointed with the Holy Ghost and power and went about doing good because God was with him the awareness of your purpose should draw you to be alone with God this was the same pattern Jesus recommended for his disciples acts 1:4 says on one occasion while he was eating with them he gave them this command do not leave Jerusalem but wait for the gift my father promised which you have heard me speak about he told

them to wait on the gift of the Holy Spirit the reason why you have to be alone is to be empowered by God many people think God is trying to limit them or to curb their dreams but God wants you to succeed he wants you to renew your strength he wants to ensure you never fail the principle is stated in Isaiah 4031 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength they will soar on wings like eagles they will run and not grow weary they will walk and not be faint to Hope in

the Lord also means to wait on him if you wait on him he will renew your strength if you jump out the fire you have will be quenched easily awareness of your purpose should draw you to the secret place with God not force you out number five circumstances and situations isolating you another sign God can use to speak to you about being alone is by using circumstances to orchestrate your being alone God is the master of everything and can wield it as he desires he can post you to another state instead of the one you

have planned with your friends you may have intended to serve in a particular state with two of your friends only for you to be transferred to a different state entirely he could arrange situations to take you away from people and places and leave you secluded maybe you planned to go to a retreat conference with your friend so you would have company and just a few hours to the convergence your friend tells you he won't be able to make it it would probably hurt your feelings but you must be wise enough to discern the voice and

hand of God even in that situation this is usually the last on the line for God if he has tried everything and it is not working he can cause the relationship to break God can cause a rift between you and your best friend and he can pull any string to make sure you are where he wants you to be after the encounter with Jesus that Paul had he went blind and remained in a room for 3 days because of his state that was God's means of getting him alone and retracing his steps back to himself

when you notice that everything is working out for you to be alone and your plans run out are being cancelled humble yourself and return to God's presence the meeting can be cancelled and the interview can be dismissed God does not mind twisting the twists and turns as long as it would get you to where he wants you to be he could even claim your gadgets there is no limit to what he can do to get your attention people have drawn closer to God after their phones developed a fault you must be ready to get alone

with God now that you know these signs do you even know why God wants you to be alone have you ever wondered why God calls you to be be with him alone is there something he is trying to do is he trying to protect you from something there are five vital reasons why God wants you to be alone I want you to listen attentively number one to teach you wisdom there are two types of knowledge there is generalized knowledge which is available to everyone and classified knowledge which is only available to a few people two

get a classified understanding you must be alone to break through the limits of general knowledge available to the public this classified knowledge is called Divine wisdom and you need it to excel in life you do not know the truth until it becomes your truth the only way a truth will become your truth is by being alone the Bible says in Proverbs 18 one through desire a man having separated himself intermetal with all wisdom Great Inventions discoveries and insights are birthed when you are alone wisdom and knowledge can only begotten when you are alone with God

the source of all wisdom God wants you to be wise so he calls you to himself God is not just trying to perform a ritual by calling you to himself he wants to teach you his ways and truths so you can always have his kind of results the Bible says says in Psalms 103 7 he made known his ways to Moses his deeds to the people of Israel Moses always found time to stay with God alone and seek his glory but the Israelites were never interested in God they only desired Miracles protection and provision they

never wanted to meet with God even when God invited them to himself they pushed Moses and told him to go alone they didn't desire to draw near to God God wants to teach you wisdom because wisdom is tied to great works you cannot accurately represent him if you have not learned from him the call to becoming a disciple of Jesus is to learn of him before he can send you the scripture says in Mark 3:14 he appointed 12 designating them Apostles that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach

his goal was that they should first be with him Jesus called the disciples to be with him before sending them out to preach because one is always greater than the other number two to preserve you the second reason God wants you to be alone with him is to preserve you he said in John 15 that he is the vine and we are the branches he said any branch that abides in him will bear much fruit you may be so concerned about the fruits that you forget get that you can only bear fruits by abiding in

the vine if any branch should jump out from the vine it will eventually dry up and lose its relevance you must understand that God desires to preserve you when he calls you to himself he also seeks to protect you from the things you can't see you are like a lion cub when you come to Christ a lion cub has the potential to become the lion that rules the jungle but at the moment it is still a cub if it tries to assume power and exposes itself unnecessarily as a cub it will get killed easily by

the hyena because it has not grown yet but when the Cub grows into a mature lion it can take up a group of hyenas and defeat them all it is the required process you need to go through to be strong when God preserves you he also preserves the generation after you this is why he is concerned about calling you to himself do not think you do not need to be alone with him if you leave sooner than expected you may not last as long as you should because you haven't developed fully number three to train

and Empower you the Bible says Jesus called his disciples close to be with him and learn his ways before sending them to serve when he left the Bible says the people noted them and said they had been with Jesus having trained them he also told them to stay in a secret place until they were endowed with the power of the Holy Spirit God can only train you when alone with him not in public the public is for display it is for you to try all you have learned from him and learn from your mistakes the

public is not for trial and error you are trained when you remain with him and he brings you out to manifest what he taught you but this happens in the fullness of time God is calling you to be alone so he can Empower you God does not anoint men in the public God does not anoint men in the presence of people he gives Grace to people when they are alone with him you can receive an impartation from a man of God in a meeting but if you want to maximize the grace you have received in

the meeting you will have to create time to be alone with God The Secret of relevance is in your ability to remain alone with God to be empowered by God you must be alone with him there must be a sharing together intercourse between man and the Holy Spirit for the union of the supernatural when the disciples waited for 10 days praying in expectation of the promise they received him and became empowered for the work ahead when alone with God God empowers you to do do great work it is also where you are trained as the

army of the Lord and given tailormade instructions regarding your purpose and assignment number four to cut off distractions the average believer is distracted by the happenings around him there are movies discussions to get involved in reals to watch and places to go the world is busier than it was a century ago everything is aimed towards upgrading to become more fast efficient and productive you cannot survive your walk with God in this atmosphere without crafting out to be alone with God being alone with God goes beyond a man trying to find God's direction towards a particular

thing being alone with God has more to do with understanding that necessity of cutting out distractions and focusing more on God a few minutes of rushed in devotionals will not go far in helping your walk with God quick brunch Bible reading can only go as far as putting crumbs in your mouth you need to have solid tangible encounters with God and the distractions noise alarms meetings and notifications must all be cut away to truly hear certain things you can't hear on the surface until you come up hither some things may remain unsaid these distractions can

run your life till you are old they box you in the circle and you keep following the order it has arranged for you you never come out until you choose to break the cycle God is calling you to be alone so you can focus on him alone number five to encounter God Jacob encountered the Lord and wrestled with the angel when he was alone when Moses was alone he could tell God Show Me Your Glory Glory it was when Daniel went to God in prayers that he could receive an interpretation of the dream from God

when John the Baptist was alone he was given the sign of who the Messiah would B God is everywhere but he cannot encounter you anywhere there are some things God can only say when he is alone with you for God to encounter you you must be alone with him to experience his glory and Power David knew how to get along with God to seek answers Jesus always took time to pray when he was with his disciples before they ever woke up he would depart from them to pray the only legitimate path to encountering God Is

by being alone with him when alone with him he can reveal things you will never hear outside that's where he can teach you that's where he can Empower train and guide you God's spoke in Psalms 32 8 I will guide you along the best pathway for your life I will advise you and watch over you God can only direct you when you are alone with him you can only receive guidance from him when you are alone with him you enjoy many benefits when you make it a habit to be alone with him you become a

carrier of his presence you are enveloped in his glory you are changed into his image when you see these signs remember the benefits and let them encourage you to spend time with God Alone beloved your belief about spending time with God Alone must change from a boring adventure to an activity where you are energized strengthened and empowered by his Spirit the mindset you have towards a thing also determines how you see it the devil has sold the idea that being alone with God is for losers but it is the only authentic way to victory over

the devil Abraham always built altars when he went to other places he did this to be able to constantly communicate with God respond immediately when you see the signs that God is calling you to be alone with him this call is usually for a season and it will pass so why not respond today when you start seeing these signs let's pray heavenly father thank you for the gracious word that came to me today thank you for the light and understanding you have granted me by your word thank you for the Simplicity of your words and

the message you have passed to me I am grateful for everything you have done for me take all glory dear Lord Lord I Thank you for opening my eyes to these signs I thank you because you are calling me to experience a deeper walk with you I thank you because you are calling me to preserve me thank you because you are calling me to be alone to teach me wisdom you want to protect and Advance me I thank you for your love for me I appreciate you because I understand that you have great intentions for

me I thank you because you truly want to encounter me that's why you are calling me to yourself I am humble to you and ready to answer your call I may have disobeyed in the past I may have hesitated during the call but I Repent today I choose to answer your call I pray for mercy in the seasons I have lost I pray for Mercy for every wrong I have done in ignorance Lord and I pray for Mercy to seek you Lord Jesus Jesus I ask for Grace to be thirsty for you just as the

psalmist said his heart pants after you make my heart pant after you I want to desire you more than life itself as I choose to stay with you alone Lord please help me find you help me encounter you I do not want to labor like a fool help me to have the right state of heart and to be able to access your throne of grace grant me ENT to your secret place grant me entrance to the place where you dwell and mold me shape me change me and work on my heart I don't want to

remain the same way I am even as I seek you touch me with your hand and heal me from every hurt heal my heart from every internal pain that circumstances have wrought in me keep me in you and help me to forever be steadfast I I pray that you help me to be a sign and a Wonder to my world I want to reflect your glory to the world Empower me and make me fit to be your representative thank you Lord for answering your prayers amen I am sure this video has inspired you kindly subscribe
