hi this is Alex from mindful wave studio you're listening to a guided meditation to overcome success barriers this practice will protect you from harmful self-sabotage we designed this to help you foster inner success self-love and positive motion towards your goals this meditation is a journey toward a better happier limitless you with each scene formulated to confront the negativity in the deep parts of your subconscious mind let's get started find a comfortable position it can be sitting standing or lying down over the next few minutes we're going to enter an advanced state of relaxation using a
progressive muscle relaxation technique this muscle relaxation technique uses deep muscle flexion to help quickly exhausts your muscles into relaxation by tensing the muscles in short bursts you'll be able to relax them even deeper it may seem counterintuitive but it's a proven way to calm your mind and body if you feel the urge to change positions to get more comfortable during this technique please do let's first focus on our breathing breathe in and fill your body with breath hold this breath continue to hold it now release and let whatever noise that's natural leave your mouth as
you exhale release the tension [Music] take another breath in just like the last one exhales slowly let the tension leave your body with the air [Music] slow down your breathing [Music] begin to breathe in the most gentle way breathe in hold exhale tension release breathe in hold exhale tension release you you [Music] now continue to breathe at your own relaxed pace more focus on the muscles of the body now start with the muscles in your legs flex all the muscles in your legs squeeze the muscles harder and now relax remember the harder you squeeze the
deeper the relaxation feel how tight the muscles in your legs are right now let all the tension yo feel the muscles in your legs relax let them get soft and supple [Music] enjoy this feeling of relaxation in your legs focus now on your breathing deep slow breaths breathe in positivity and breathe out tension in positivity and out tension [Music] continue to breathe at your own natural pace [Music] now let's focus on the muscles in your arms flex all the muscles of your arms ball your hands into tight fists squeeze the muscles and now relax let
all the tension go feel the muscles in your arms relax let them get soft and supple [Music] feel how relaxed the muscles are now enjoy this feeling of relaxation in your arms focus again on your breathing deep slow breaths breathe in positivity and breathe out tension you [Music] in positivity and our tension continue to breathe at your own natural pace let's focus on the muscles of your butt flex all of the muscles in your butt tighten your sitting muscles squeeze the muscles harder and now relax let all the tension go enjoy this feeling of relaxation
in your butt now you're back pull your shoulders back tense the spinal muscles arch your back squeeze them harder now relax your back enjoy the feeling of a relaxed back turn your focus to the muscles of your chest and stomach tighten and tense these muscles squeeze them tighter hold it now relax the muscles along the front side of your body feel your chest and stomach relax and lastly let's relax your face by tightening the muscles tighten your cheeks flex your chin and jaw wrinkle your nose squeeze your eyes tight hold this tension and relax release
all the tension [Music] feel the relaxation spread across your face [Music] really feel your body now feel how relaxed your muscles are after that period of flexing and hardness let the tension leave your body [Music] enjoy this drained feeling of relaxation your breath is calm your muscles are relaxed stay with this relaxation for a moment [Music] with this exercise you've allowed your body to feel an intense relaxation this will help the next phase of our meditation our our journey today is a journey toward overcoming all the negative influences inside your own mind after this meditation
you will feel connected to the following positive statements let these statements guide you today you may repeat these in your head to set your attention for what you hope to uncover today remember you don't need to become anything today you already are we just need to uncover your perfection within you are capable of accomplishing anything you love and accept yourself for who you are your whole being is in harmony with itself you are your own best friend and only do things that help you succeed you are 100% self loving and positive you believe in yourself
with these ideas at the forefront of our conscious mind we can build an incredible subconscious belief system take five deep breaths in on your fifth breath hold the breath for five seconds visualize yourself on a beach this is your private beach you are completely safe here only the most positive uplifting people are allowed to enter your beach it is your personal success sanctuary your safe place to succeed the sun's shining and the weather is perfect feel the heat on your body filling you up with love and energy let it soothe your body as it soothes
you it relaxes your even deeper you sit on the sand after seeing how comfortable it looks it pulls you into it as you sit down [Music] lay down on the soft sand [Music] continue to feel the warmth of the Sun soaking your muscles [Music] the same muscles we relaxed earlier every inch of you now let them become even more relaxed [Music] this is your time to reach a new level in your relaxation let the sounds of the scene soothe you gentle lapping of waves soft chirping of birds a soft breeze blowing through palm trees above
you the sounds repeat themselves making you feel even more relaxed with every sound you begin to drift deeper into a mental relaxation you feel outstanding [Music] allow the Sun to feel like melting liquid running down your body it's a warm invigorating liquid slowly it spreads all down your body taking you deeper into the pleasure state [Music] let it release any areas of tension you're still holding on to inside and out the sun's loving energy will work its way into every nook and cranny of your soul to shed light on any negative voices you've now entered
the deepest state of relaxation I want you to imagine a time when you succeeded at something it could be anything think of it now really picture it then feel how it felt [Music] let that feeling spread through your body [Music] recall this moment in detail with all of your five senses [Music] what words would you use to describe this moment think of them now words like pride happiness confidence joy exuberance limitlessness whatever you felt that moment let yourself return to that moment you you earned success you earned happiness you earned the accomplishment of the goal
because you earned it in the past means it's always with you now you are successful you are happy you accomplish all of your goals you will continue to achieve many great things you set your mind to focus now on the confidence and inner positivity you would feel as you accomplish the goals you are working on now [Music] let the confidence of achievement spread to every cell of your body [Music] you are limitless you are successful in every way your deep subconscious mind captures this feeling and makes it part of its identity success is who you
are again the call moments of your greatest success and let your subconscious mind absorb this new identity [Music] [Music] it is said that the greatest barrier to success is fear of failure but in this sacred space of relaxation and positivity all your fears have left without fear there is only positive motion towards success as you float there on the sand it's time to dive deeper into the most positive state of being from where you sit you can see the water gently overtaking the sand with every wave that laps at the shore just like your breath
it brings newness to the beach [Music] in and out in and out the water gets closer with the rising tide [Music] now the water kisses your toes every time a new wave rolls in the wave rolls in the wave retreats a few seconds later the wave rolls in the wave retreats [Music] the next time the wave retreats draw the number 10 in the sand with your finger let the wave wipe away your drawing the wave retreats picture this in your mind as you do it draw the number nine in the sand again let the wave
wipe the number away then the water disappears again leaving empty sand now draw a number eight in the sand let the next wave wipe away your number again and again continue to do this in your mind's eye until you reach zero [Music] when you reach zero you'll be ready to absorb all the positivity this guided meditation can give you with each wave that rolls in you go deeper and deeper once you reach zero let yourself float in this place of inner peace [Music] drift further into the positivity [Music] relax into the sounds and colors and
