Logos Subscription Pricing Announced!

hey guys Pastor Channer here coming at you with another logos video in this video prices for the upcoming subscription model are in I've got a review of Premium Pro Max and some of my recommendations for you now I want you guys to know that at the time you view this video These subscriptions may not be out quite yet but I wanted to get the information to you as soon as I could that way you could plan for your future purchases hey guys after we recorded and edited this video but before we went live with it

we actually got two more important details first early access to the log off subscription ends October 4th so if you were invited to the Early Access and you are on the fence make your decision soon second October 21st is going to be the launch date that is going to be the start date for the subscription model so if you've been looking forward to it we finally have a date it's going to be October 21st so first of all let's look at this breakdown and try to understand what the chart is communicating to us first of

all I want you to see that there is this section called segments and this is trying to determine which class you fall into when you are trying to subscribe first you can see four logos 10 owners who have subscribed at the bronze for premium level at the silver for pro level or at the gold for max level all of them will get the steepest discount so if you haven't bought your L10 feature set yet before the subscriptions go live if they're still available I would buy them if I were you so you could get that

steep discount next I want you to see that there's a breakdown in the pricing between whether you subscribe monthly annually or you can subscribe for 2 years in advance monthly of course just gives you that regular pricing annual gives you 12 months for the price of 10 so you just kind of subscribe by adding a zero on to the end and then finally if you subscribe for up to two years in advance you get 24 months for the price of 19 so they give you one extra on top of the annual all of this said

I think the 2-year upfront options are very attractive for three separate reasons first of all you lock in the lowest possible price for at least two years when I told you that you'd get the steepest discount if you already had an L10 feature set when you got your subscription a lot of people asked yes but how long will that discount be in play for the fact of the matter is we don't know I would like to think that log off would honor your subscription price no matter when you locked it in as long as you

stayed subscribed but maybe not and if that's the case paying two years upfront ensures that you lock in this steep discount for at least 2 years again got a couple of key clarifications before we posted this video live so I just wanted to insert them here first of all I said in the video that we're not really sure if you would keep your discount or for how long well logos has given me some information that you will keep your discount percentage even if the price goes up so let's say five years down the road they

bump up the price by $5 whatever percentage in terms of the discount you currently have on your subscription they will apply that percentage discount to your future subscription even if they increase prices across the board not only that of course you can see that you're getting 24 months for the price of 19 that's essentially 5 months free which is pretty nice and finally guys here's the kicker but remember last time we talked about the Legacy fallback license what the Legacy fallback license is is that if you are subscribed for at least 24 months logos will

allow you to keep any of the non-ai and non-cloud features that were produced during that 2-year cycle that's fantastic because what it means is you will lock in permanent features to your logos without having to be subscribed in perpetuity second point of clarification very important the Legacy fallback licenses are only for owners of previous logos feature sets now now I don't think which feature set you have even if it's pre- L10 actually matters instead this seems to me like a way that they are rewarding some of their earliest customers all of us who got in

before the subscription model was the way it was done so again even having eligibility for the Legacy fallback license is only going to be for those individuals who actually have a feature set pre- subscription model now logos has committed to that Legacy fallback license being available to those previous feature set users for 2 years so again they're trying to incentivize you to get in earlier with that they might do that longer but we're not really sure okay so given what we've seen here what are my recommendations well for those of you who are on the

fence that is you're not sure whether or not you want to subscribe I think getting the L10 feature set of bronze or better and then subscribing for 2 years at the premium level is a really really strong Choice what this means is that for one 3280 for two years you get the best two launch features in my opinion and you get all of the benefits that I just described if you are paying two years upfront to me that's a really strong choice and I think this is going to be a really good buy for many

users now my second thought is that for those of you who have L10 silver or L10 gold feature sets you may want to lock in your pro or your max level at this time in order to take advantage of your discount now this is especially true if you do a lot of preaching or teaching because you don't have access to the illust ation or application generators unless you get at least the pro level or higher again the 2-year level will ensure that you get the best price and you secure the Legacy fallback license however at

these levels you might also want to do monthly or maybe just the single annual and see if you get enough Advantage out of the pro or max level if you don't think you are getting Max Advantage you can drop down to premium and continue your subscription from there now the third thought I had has to do with Max at the max level we still haven't seen those groundbreaking features that to me make the Step Up worth it but frankly if the ex $3 a month doesn't bother you any then you might just want to go

for it and lock in that price however if you're still unsure what you'd be doing at that point is banking on some upcoming features to make it worth it however features might not be your only consideration the max Library actually offers a handful of resources that you don't get at Pro that might swing the decision in that favor in particularly for commentaries at the max level you get Kyle and delich you get the Cambridge Bible volumes and most importantly you get the Evangelical exegetical commentaries if you don't have these resources you might consider that the

$3 a month extra is worth it so that you can get these unlocked at least while you're subscribed not only that if you want the Cascadia or Anderson Forbes sentence diagrams if you want any of the discourse analysis materials both in Greek and in Hebrew or you're interested in the Hebrew intagent manuscript explorers this again might make Max worth it for you finally everyone I must emphasize that these best AI features are made even better by a large logos Library so now more than ever I am recommended you add on the largest Library you can

afford this is if you want to utilize your Logos Bible Software as Kindle on steroids as Google for biblical research because that larger library is just going to leverage those AI tools even more now the specific libraries that are coming out we are going to cover in a future video however let me just highlight what I have seen thus far first of all at launch the denominational packages are not going to be available so if you're used to buying Baptist or Anglican or Lutheran those are going to wait until 2025 however they are at launch

introducing three new sets of libraries that are consistent with the premium Pro and max level so they have leader libraries which go from starter to Gold they have preacher libraries which go from starter to Diamond and finally they have researcher libraries which go from starter to portfolio so like I said I think these roughly correspond to premium Pro and Max but I'll do a future video covering these libraries and what I think my Best Buy are of course I'm very excited that at launch they are offering all of the standard libraries this is going to
