[Music] [Music] it was a Saturday night and all I wanted to do was watch TV by myself in our cabin it was a small cabin in the countryside so there were no houses nearby on the other end my parents were out on a date and wouldn't be back until midnight and since all the roads were Jam because of the snowstorm it wasn't smart to order pizza but I did it anyway about an hour ago so when I start thinking about why it was taking so long I remember it was probably because of the icy roads

and then I realized I might not get the pizza at all so I sat on the couch and chose to watch a scary movie I was alone in the cabin about 5 minutes into the movie I got scared by a sudden sound at the doorbell then I thought it might be the pizza delivery person so I went to the front door but when I open it I was surprised by what I saw it was a dirty and Scruffy man maybe in his 40s he seemed like he might be homeless like he'd been living rough for

a while his hair was long and oily and he need to shave badly the only reason I didn't close the door right away was because he had a pizza box and was wearing a Domino's Pizza uniform although it looked like he put it on in a hurry the buttons on his uniform were all over the place and it seemed too small for him the name tag on his shirt said Michael Smith but it looked like it was barely hanging on he had a big grin on his face staring right at me without blinking once his

smile made me feel really nervous hi I'm Ted did you order a Big Cheese Pizza he still had that strange smile on his face I reached into my pocket trying to find the cash I had but I couldn't find it then I remember I must have left the money on the kitchen counter but before I went to the kitchen I didn't close the front door properly in the kitchen I grabbed my wallet and start looking for the $20 bill I had but then something stopped me we had a small TV that always show the news

and there was some text scrolling at the bottom of the screen when I read it my heart skipped a beat news flash Domino's delivery driver found unconscious in a ditch his clothes ripped off I suddenly remember the man at my door had a name tag saying Michael Smith but he told me his his name was Ted his clothes looked like they didn't fit right it gave me shivers as I connected the dots I turned around and practically sprinted to the front door as expected it was wide open and the pizza box was on the floor

by the stairs my heart raced as I realized something was wrong I reached for my phone but my pocket was empty Panic set in when I remembered I'd left it charging on my nightstand then I thought thought about what I could do I couldn't just run out into the snowstorm and go to the nearest house a mile away I couldn't hide and wait for my parents to come back that could take hours the only thing left was to go upstairs get my phone and call 911 my knees and hands were shaking as I crept up

the stairs trying not to make any noise when I reached the last step I could see my room the door was open I start getting ready in my mind for whatever might happen when I walk into that room I walk quietly to the side of the door making sure nobody could see me from inside then I Peak my head into the room there was nothing there actually the room looked exactly how I left it then I spot my phone on the nightstand across from my bed right next to the closet I walk in slowly and

reach over my bed I was almost there just a few inches from grabbing my phone and calling the police I moved forward cautiously ready for anything to happen when I finally got hold of my phone I took a big breath of relief and dial 911 in no time I heard the 911 operator's voice soon the lady on the line said 911 what's your emergency hi my name's Matthew and there's someone in my house I said it fast I've watched lots of Law and Order so I thought I knew how to make them send help quickly

then the operator told me to stay on the line then something grabbed my attention my closet I always kept it shut because I was scar of the dark inside and I hate not knowing what might be in there but until now there had never been anything in there the closet door was creeping open just enough for me to see two eyes staring back at me but the scariest part wasn't the eyes what still haunts me to this day is the huge smile he had on his face I scream there he was the man who claimed

to be Ted from the front door I ran faster than I ever had in my life I dash out of my room into the hallway but I could always hear footsteps just a few feet behind me I looked back and saw the man chasing me still smiling I rushed into the downstairs bathroom and locked the door but his laugh wasn't what I expected it wasn't deep and rough like I imagined he started banging his body against the door trying to get in every time I heard him hitting the door his childish laugh followed I knew

I didn't have much time before the door would give in but I also knew it would be a while before the police got here my eyes scanned the bathroom it was unfamiliar to me because I usually use the downstairs one as soon as I saw the bathroom window which I'd never noticed before I knew what to do after a few seconds of struggling I managed to get outside the cold snow felt refreshing On My Feet especially since I'd been sweating a lot I tried to stand up and run but the storm was too powerful it

was tough to move even a few steps away from the cabin I could still hear the man banging on the door and laughing like a maniac he was getting closer to breaking in just a couple more tries and he'd be inside I knew he'd see the open window and realize I was outside I could hear his footsteps moving away and I knew he had figured it out out I kept looking back and forth then I spotted him his head was poking over the side of the house revealing that creepy smile I screamed in fear once

more as the man still in that too tight Domino's uniform started tiptoeing toward me this really scared me making me realize how crazy the man truly was just then I heard a wonderful sound police sirens it was the perfect time for the police to arrive when the man heard the sirens he glanced at me one last time and managed to smile even wider he waved goodbye then dashed off into the woods when the cops finally arrived in the driveway I ran to them crying with relief and disbelief about what had happened I tried to tell

them the story but I could only manage to say a few sentences that hardly made any sense after they helped me calm down I told them everything that happened two more police officers arrived and started looking in the nearby Woods it was nearly completely dark by then I didn't sleep at all for the next several nights I couldn't stop thinking about his smile even long after that my home didn't feel safe anymore but I'm relieved to say that since then there haven't been any strange knocks at the door or anything like that it's been quiet

and I haven't seen that man [Music] again when I was almost done with high school I worked as a food delivery boy it paid pretty well because most people gave extra money and I really liked it one Friday night I had to deliver some food to a house on the far side of town it took me about 10 minutes to drive there when I got to the front door I saw a note stuck on it that said to go around to the back so I went around to the back door which was in the middle

of the house in front of a small backyard with a little patio I was just about to knock on the door when I noticed another note it said please bring food inside that made me feel a bit easy but I went in anyway when I opened the door I saw what looked like a kitchen it was mostly empty but there was a Bluetooth speaker playing music on the kitchen table near the door as I went to put the pizza down I noticed another note stuck there take Pizza downstairs and I'll tip you I glanced towards

the end of the kitchen and saw an open doorway with stairs going down into a really dark basement this is when I made up my mind I figured I'd have to miss out on the tip this time and I definitely wasn't going downstairs so I left the pizza on the table and began walking away to go but then the music stopped and a deep man's voice came through the speaker saying stop why don't you come downstairs I wasn't sticking around for that I hurriedly opened the door and got out of there as I left I

could hear the Deep man's voice laughing I ran back to my car and drove straight back to the restaurant a few weeks later when I was working I got another delivery as I started driving I realized it was the same weird house I really didn't want to go back there but it was my job and I didn't want to tell my boss I was scared so I kept on driving when I got there I took a good look at the house I saw another note on the door I sat in my car for a bit

trying to convince myself to go back to the house finally I got out and headed straight to the back but when I looked at the front door the sticky note had something new written on it I went up to the door and read it carefully it said come in through the front door this time with a smiling winking face I just left the pizza on the front step knocked twice and then left and thankfully nothing happened I don't know what his intention was but I really don't want to find [Music] out last month when I

turned 16 my family and I went on a trip to Toronto along with my friends Ashley and Sarah there we stay in a hotel went swimming and visited the mall so you can imagine it was a lot of fun the night after we got back from the mall we went to our hotel room took showers and just hung out there then around 11:00 p.m. when I was feeling very bored I knocked on the door that divided my friend's hotel room from my mom dad and brother's room I told my mom if me and my friends

could walk around Kensington Market it because we didn't have anything to do she agreed just as we were about to leave my little brother told if he could come too because he was also bored I said fine and my parents ended up coming too because they had to look after my brother my parents and brother are a little bit ahead of us while me and my friends are a little behind just laughing and talking I started to feel hungry so I told my parents we wanted to get some food we kept kept walking until we

found a big building with lots of restaurants and fast food places inside it had two floors in the middle there was a big escalator to go up to the second floor my parents went to McDonald's and sat at a table far away from us my friend Sarah wasn't very hungry so she found a table for us while Ashley and I went to the ice cream place to get something there while we were waiting we noticed a group of three guys sitting at a table near the ice cream place I saw them looking at us and

whispering to each other then two of them came up behind us to wait in line for ice cream too hey I've never been to this place before what kind of ice cream flavor do you suggest I get well the guy looked really creepy he was a tall Jamaican man who looked to be in his late 20s or early 30s dress in shabby clothes and randomly talking to my friend who was 15 at the time he was also screwing a lid onto some strange small bottle while my friend was talking to him my friend Ashley is

very friendly so she didn't really think much of it and was just being nice and talking to him then the other guy who was with him came up to me I had already felt really weird about his friend so I didn't want to talk to him he was wearing a white trench coat and a hat then he said to me wow you look really different what's your ethnicity I want to know I felt really uneasy about this but I just laugh and said thanks can I please get your number I told him right away no

but he kept begging for it saying he just wants to text and talk I told him I don't give my number out to people I don't know but as I kept saying no I no the third guy sitting at their table get up I was about to leave because this whole situation was really scaring me until the other guy who was talking to my friend Ashley came up to me and said um hey I got your friend Snapchat and I was wondering if I can get yours too no that I don't give my Snapchat to

strangers he kind of laughed and just said okay then this next question made me really scared so are you two here all alone I didn't know what to say at that moment my mind went blank and I froze but my friend spoke up for me saying that my parents were over by McDonald's and that our other friend was at a nearby table the two guys glance at our other friend and wave at her Sarah saw them do that then look at me but just as Sarah was about to approach us and get us out of

this situation my parents went up to her they said they they were heading back to the hotel room and that we could walk back since the hotel was only about a 10-minute walk away from where we were Sarah said okay and my parents and brother headed to the escalator Sarah then came up to us hey everything all right here yeah everything's fine Sarah Ashley and I walked back to our table I didn't want to stay there anymore and told the girls we should leave because I was feeling really uneasy so we start heading towards the

escalator but then we noticed those same two guys from the ice cream place were following us my parents were gone and it was just us 16-year-old girls in this empty building because it was so late I immediately told Ashley that those same two guys were following us she started to panic too we went down the escalator and they did the same there were only two other people on the escalator between us and those scary men then as we reached the bottom thankfully I saw my parents and brother waiting in line at Starbucks right next to

the exit my friends and I ran up to my mom to told her that those weird men were following us but just as I finished telling my mom what happened I think the men noticed my parents were still there as soon as as they got off the escalator they turned around and went back up again my mom said they were leaving to go back upstairs so we should just head back to the hotel room my parents and brother left the building first and then me and my friends followed them when we got outside my parents

were about a meter or two ahead of us I saw the same guy with the briefcase that I thought had left the building earlier standing right next to the exit door just staring at us this really creep me out because I thought he had left a long time ago he just kept staring at us the whole time as we walked past him but as we got farther away I looked back to make sure he wasn't following us I saw him walk up to a creepy all black car with really dark Windows a man in the

driver's seat rolled down the window and the man with the briefcase whispered something to him and the car drove away I don't even know what could have happened to us but it definitely wouldn't have been good we got back to our hotel rooms and my friend Ashley start crying because she realized what had just happened Sarah and I tried to calm her down did any of those guys ask for your number or SnapChat yeah I gave them my Snapchat because I was really scared to say no that's when she realized that she had her location

on for Snapchat I told her to go turn it off immediately but when when she went to turn it off it showed that one of the guy was right next to hers which meant that he was at or near our hotel right now she turned it off right after that and then blocked him nothing else happened that night but who knows what could have happened if we were alone so to everyone listening please be safe out there I drive for door Dash and this story happened only a few months ago it was a Thursday night

and I was working until 3:00 a.m. it was late almost finished when at about 1:30 in the morning I got a new order to pick up it was McDonald's and the order was a medium drink it seemed odd to me that someone would want just a drink delivered from there but I didn't think much of it I headed to McDonald's got the drink and then drove to where it needed to go it wasn't too far maybe 5 to 10 minutes away but as I got closer to the neighborhood I could tell it wasn't the safest

place around the houses were in bad shape old and falling apart most yards had really tall grass I turned onto a road that didn't go anywhere else and finally got to the address it was right at the end of the Dead End Street it was hard to see the house because it was so dark with lots of trees blocking the view the house was surrounded by woods and there were no street lights or lights on in the house I parked my car and stepped out slowly I walked to the end of the driveway of the

house and peered down it it was narrow and pretty long there were pine needles and sticks scattered around like nobody had been using it much I looked down and saw the house then started walking towards it I walked about 10 ft down the driveway when I heard the branches in a nearby tree rustle without thinking twice I put the drink down turned around and sprinted back to my car I could hear something moving behind me as I ran but I didn't dare stop to look I dashed back to my car and jumped in as soon

as I started the engine the lights lit up through my windshield I saw three men standing about 30 ft in front of my car they weren't chasing me anymore just standing at the end of the driveway staring at me then one of them turned and hurled the McDonald's drink at my car it smacked the ground about 5 ft ahead of me I reversed my car and drove off I really hope I don't have to deliver to that neighborhood again [Music]
