Easy English 29 - Talking about the future

hello easy English Learners so we're here again on the streets of Oldtown Alexandria and today we're going to be asking people what their plans for the rest of the day are and if they have any plans for their future so follow us [Music] along uh so it's a simple question and that is what are your plans for today I'm glad my plans for today are to walk up the street yes we have we're going to go have lunch and then after that we're going to do some shopping I think we're going down to the water

to have a few drinks and have some girl time and fun girl time that means we're not invited no we not invited okay I'm going to take the metro back home and then I'm going to watch Netflix and chill yes my plans for the rest of the day I'm going back to work I work at a a shop it's actually a really interesting shop it's a sex shop okay yeah it is um so it's called Lotus blooms and we sell corsets and we sell sex toys and we're education based so I'm a sex educator not

just working at a shop and yeah it's really cool we we're going to continue on our walk and then we'll go home and um make dinner yeah and what do you plan to make pizza I think we're doing pizza tonight a homemade pizza yeah wa well we're from the Philadelphia area so we're going to be leaving here soon after we do a little more shopping go back to my daughter's house and then pack up and head back up to Philly my plans for the rest of the day enjoy it with these guys maybe go have

a few drinks get some good food and then go do some homework for school yeah um I'm going to ride my bike home and then walk my dog and then take a nap okay not true at all you don't have a dog you don't even have a dog no and I don't have a bike and you never sleep I'm definitely going to take a nap okay at least it's partially true today I will be fabulous like I always am and uh I will live my life to the fullest and continue to enjoy a traveler's view

which is my business same thing and sleep and sleep I was like um I'm going to take pictures and I don't have any other plans for today I'm going to do what she's doing and everybody else is doing and then I'm going to go home and probably sit on the [Music] couch watch easy English what are your plans for the future generally maybe a year 5 years from now uh hope to retire in about 5 years and be able to spend more time with my family with my boys right what do you guys hope to

do tomorrow what are you going to do tomorrow play play play what do you like to play Ninja Turtles Ninja Turtles who's your favorite riardo I see myself hopefully as an investment banker or a realtor uh primarily in the residential industry and um hopefully have a beautiful wife by my side if not you know still have the girlfriend I have and go from there I hope she doesn't see this video yeah me too I'm going to spend the winter traveling out west going wherever there's deep snow are you a skier snowboarder snowboarder ni I ski

oh that's too bad um actually I'm moving to North Dakota wow yeah I know that sounds crazy I'm moving to North Dakota and um I'm a singer is what I actually am what style um blues and soul um so I did American Idol did you did I was on season 13 um you can find me I had blue hair um yeah it was a lot of fun um but yeah it's we're I'm going to the West Coast with my fiance who's a woman so I'm a lesbian it's great yeah I'm so excited my nearest future

plan actually uh when I go home to Colorado is to uh sell the house and move into the mountains um I'll probably go back to grad school and get my Master's Degree um in speech therapy is any any of this truthful all this actually okay I'm getting married in March oh congratulations just enjoying every moment in life yeah and be happy that's yeah that's it okay easy English fans thanks again for coming along with us to learn uh we were here on the streets of Oldtown got some really good answers from everyone uh if you
