be merciful to me oh God be merciful to me for my soul trusts in you and in the shadow of your wings I will make my refuge until these calamities have passed by we sometimes take life for granted we take God's protection for granted but let me tell you that you are most vulnerable when you're comfortable the devil loves a comfortable Christian and God calls a comfortable Christian lukewarm and that's because you're neither hot nor cold you're neither here or there there's no urgency about you and there sure enough isn't any fire to your prayers

however I want to emphasize the importance of prayer we need the to watch over us and to protect us the Bible says in Mark 14: 38 Watch and Pray so that you will not fall into temptation the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak you see when you are comfortable and prayerless you are in your weakest State as a Believer and friends let me tell you something when you are prayerless you are vulnerable to spiritual attacks you need to understand that the forces of Darkness operate in darkness both spiritually and in the physical too

the devil is cunning and he certainly doesn't play fair he will wait until you've let your guard down and you are dull in your spiritual senses because of a lack of prayer that's when he will attack but today I want to encourage you and remind you of the protection we have in Jesus Christ the devil may try whatever he wants but we are guarded by Jesus Christ we are shielded by Jesus Christ the blood of Jesus Christ has formed a perimeter around our homes the angel of the Lord encamps at our residence when we call

on the name of the father I encourage you not to fear whatever comes your way because Jesus Christ is a mighty protector he is a savior Jesus Christ will cover you and block the enemy so each and every day I encourage you to pray for the Divine protection that comes only from the Son of God it's the kind of protection that rebukes the enemy and exposes his plans it gives no power to spiritual attacks David a man after God's Own Heart said in Psalm 119:62 at midnight I Rise to praise you because of your righteous

rules I don't know who needs to hear this but you may be thinking that you are all alone you may be feeling as though life has beat you up but I want you to know that you are defended by a God who neither sleeps nor Slumbers I want to remind you that you are guarded by the lion of the tribe of Judah you are shielded by the powerful blood of Jesus Christ I would like to read Psalm 121 it's a short chapter of only eight verses but it's a powerful reminder to all of us that

our help is in the Lord While others may run to different things or run to hide in man-made bunkers we can call on the name that is above every name the name of Jesus Christ now as I read this passage I pray that the spirit of the Lord would strengthen your faith and put your mind at ease I pray that there would be a quiet confidence within your heart even in the middle of any chaotic situation you may be facing Psalm 121 the Bible reads I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence

comes my help my help comes from the Lord who made Heaven and Earth he will not allow your foot to be moved he who keeps you will not slumber behold he who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep the Lord is your keeper the Lord is your shade at your right hand the sun shall not strike you by day nor the Moon by Night the Lord shall preserve you from all evil he shall preserve your soul the Lord shall preserve your going out and and you're coming in from this time forth and even forever more

I don't think as Christians we speak enough about the protection that we have as children of God the Bible tells us that the Lord is our keeper we are his possession we are under his care and I find it incredible that a god of such power and might would consider us so precious that he would watch over us as a child of God you are surrounded by Angels when you call on the name of Jesus for help rest easy be at peace with the full knowledge and assurance that there is power wonderwork power in the

Precious Blood of the Lamb the God who protects us is unconquerable he is Almighty he knows us individually he loves us us perfectly he provides for our every need and he most certainly protects us now let us pray I bless your name Lord Jesus you are worthy to be praised and lifted High you are worthy to be praised and exalted I come to you today asking for your help and intervention for everyone who is listening and in need move within our Circle ances Lord move within our situations father some people may Place their trust in

doctors and scientists in medicine and human knowledge but we place our trust in you King Jesus we understand that our help comes from you Lord you are all that we want and need Psalm 121: 3-4 says he will not allow your foot to be moved he who keeps you will not Slumber behold he who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep I thank you for this promise that you not let us your children stumble you Lord will keep us steady and unshaken by anything that life may bring you will keep us steady and unmoved when

the devil and his army Rises up against us your word has promised us that you will not allow us to be moved so I call on you Jehovah to Hold Us close I pray that you would place my hand in yours and show me the way lead me and guide me you are our keeper father you are so powerful and Limitless in your power that you neither sleep nor slumber in you we are confident and secure we are safe and at peace because the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob watches over us and our families

you Almighty father are the one who keeps us safe at night and protected during the day thank you for wrapping your loving arms around us thank you Lord for your blessing of protection that is upon Our Lives you keep us safe and sound from sun up to sun down we give you glory Lord because you Shield us from the attacks of the enemy and you block Every dart that comes our way some trust in chariots some trust in horses but as for me and my house as for me and every single person listening we declare

that we will trust in the the name of the Lord Our God I will trust in you Jesus because your word says in Psalm 20: 6 now I know that the Lord saves his anointed he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand today we confess victory over all of life's troubles we speak victory over all of our battles we are winners in Christ we are victorious in Christ we are more than conquerors because greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world I

Saints I would like to talk to you about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Jesus Christ is our savior he's a the Savior to the Lost Jesus Christ is the bread of life to those who hunger he is the Fountain of Living Water to those who thirst Jesus Christ is the Chief Cornerstone for every Godly home he is a strong Foundation when the enemy shakes your life Nahum 1 verse 7 says the Lord is good a stronghold in the day of trouble and he knows those who trust in him David put it this way in

Psalm 18 verse 2 the Lord is my rock my Fortress and My Savior My God Is My Rock in whom I find protection he is my shield the power that saves me and my place of safety dear friend in this day and age where there is a lot of talk about artificial intelligence future pandemics and turmoil all over the world Saints I want you to know that nothing and no one else can ever replace our Lord no one can ever make him irrelevant Jesus Christ is still needed as a savior to the Lost he is

still needed as a protector and a provider Jesus Christ is still a bridge over troubled Wat da he is still the way the truth and the life and no one can go to the father except through him and so I want to encourage you follow Jesus Christ live for Christ obbey him love him be committed to him the Bible is clear Jesus Christ died on a cross for your sins he rose from the grave on the third day and ascended to Heaven shortly after the Bible is clear that Jesus Christ is alive today and seated

on the right hand side of God the Father the Bible is clear that one day Jesus will return and when he returns every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord with all of the Breakthrough in science and technology in this day and age the Bible remains true when it tells us that there is no other way to heaven other than Jesus he is the way the truth and the life now I want you to pay attention to one particular passage of scripture in Philippians 3: 10 the Bible reads I want

to know Christ yes to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings becoming like him in his death now what does it mean to know the power of his resurrection I believe that when you know the power of his resurrection then you know that we serve a living God we serve a God who is alive the grave could not hold him and death could not contain him the Bible says in Revelation 1: 17-18 when I saw him I fell at his feet as if I were dead but he laid his right hand

on me and said don't be afraid I am the first and the last I am the living one I died but look I am alive forever and ever and I hold the keys of death and the grave the Lord said I am the living one all across the Earth there are people who worship other gods and idols but none of their gods can say what Jesus said here he said I am the living one I died but look I am alive forever and ever and I hold the keys of death and the grave the good

news that I have to give you today is that Jesus Christ is alive he still answers prayers today he still heals today he can still perform Miracles today today if today in your heart if you'll open your heart and believe in Jesus Christ here is the promise that we have in John 3: 14 and 15 just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness so the son of man must be lifted up that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him the Bible says everyone who believes everyone who believes in Jesus Christ will

have eternal life my question to you today is do you believe now with the understanding that the Bible is clear his promises are clear and so with the singleness of mind that Jesus Christ is all he is everything to us let us go to the throne of God with that determination in our hearts and with a praise on our lips Lord Jesus we want to take this time to praise you Hebrews 13:15 says therefore by him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God that is the fruit of our lips giving thanks to

his name May our lips thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify your name always Jesus you're the Lord of lords you are the king of kings you are the True Vine and apart from you Lord we are nothing you are the light of the world and apart from you Lord Jesus there is no hope Lord Jesus you are the resurrection and the life you are the only way to heaven and for us to obtain eternal life God we praise you because you are all knowing your ways are higher than our ways and what may be unknown

to us it is known to you you know what tomorrow holds you know my beginning from my end therefore I need you God you are Jehovah Elohim our Mighty and strong Creator you alone can speak and create you are Jehovah Gyra we look to you for provision you are Jehovah Rafa a God who heals I'm grateful because you not only heal physical wounds and diseases but you are a God who can heal emotional wounds you're a God who heals broken homes and who brings healing to to broken relationships and so we need you father we

need your peace in our lives you are wise in all your ways you are triumphant and you are Mighty I declare your word in 1 Corinthians 15:57 which says but thanks be to God who gives us the victory as conquerors through our Lord Jesus Christ I declare your word in Romans 8:37 no in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us as your children God we are indeed more than conquerors Lord Jesus you loved us enough to die for our sins and because of your precious sacrifice on the cross because

of the blood that you shed today we can say It is Well we have the victory because Jesus Christ has overcome sin has no hold over us death has no sting in Jesus we are more than conquerors the spirit of fear it is conquered in Jesus name anxiety is conquered in Your Name Lord restlessness a troubled heart depression they are all conquered in Jesus name the devil is conquered in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Psalm 19: 7-9 says the law of the Lord is perfect refreshing the soul the statutes of the Lord are trustworthy

making wise the simple the precepts of the Lord are right giving Joy to the heart the commands of the Lord are radiant giving light to the eyes your word is indeed perfect father may it refresh our souls daily may your word be a lamp to our feet dear Lord clearly marking Out The Way of the Lord from the ways of the world the Bible in Deuteronomy 6: 5 through 9 it says and you must love the Lord your God with all your heart all your soul and all your strength and you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly

to these commands that I am giving you today repeat them again and again to your children talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road when you are going to bed and when you are getting up tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders write them on the doorpost of your house and on your Gates when it comes to your precious word dear God help us to realize how important it is to us in this life father let there be a deep yearning and a

strong hunger for your word in our lives may your word be repeated over and over again in our homes I pray that your word Lord Jesus would so greatly impact our lives on a daily basis that we would be transformed when it comes to our character our speech and even our mindset in this day and age Lord we need to know the truth we need you God we need your word because nothing else clearly separates Holiness from Evil better than your word in this world that is full of deception and idolatry help us to keep

your word diligent gently so that all our ways are directed by you Lord you alone are our Strong Tower you are omnipotent and omnipresent there is nothing too difficult for you this is why I will set you always before me I keep my eyes always on you Lord Jesus because with you on my side I will not be shaken I will not be moved with you on my side I will not be overcome by the cares of the world Lord with you as my good shepherd I shall not want I shall not be in lack

I will not be lost or abandoned because you are the Good Shepherd my future is in your hands Lord my life is in your hands Lord I declare that surely your goodness and your mercy your unfailing love they shall follow us all the Days of Our Lives father we bless your holy name and master we thank you for hearing this prayer it's in Jesus mighty name that we pray amen too many people see Christianity as like going to the movies you pay a minimal price for a ticket you take all your snacks and drinks to

your seat you sit there as a film entertains you the movie does not ask anything from you then you walk away from the movie unchanged and return to regular life the truth is Christianity is more like the military when joining the military you're committing to laying down your life you trained so that you're ready to go to war your job now becomes your life and in the military you have basic physical training then you have specialized weapons training this is followed by tactical and field training and Christianity is very much like this your prayer life

and Christianity is very much like this your prayer life needs to be trained so that you develop and become stronger in prayer your faith needs to be tested you need to have a personal program centered around reading the word of God God you see Christianity is more than a mere call to sit in church on Sunday and be entertained it is a call to lay down your life in the end it cost everything JC riyle said here is the cost of being a true Christian it will cost you your self-righteousness it will cost you your

sins it will cost you your love of ease it will cost you the favor of the world world you see following Jesus will call you to lay down anything he requests on behalf of following after him in Luke 9 Jesus talks about the cost of following after him the Bible says in Luke 9: 57-58 Jesus is walking along the roadside as Jesus walks a man comes up to him and asks if he can follow Jesus Jesus lays out the cost he says Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests but the son of

man has nowhere to lay his head Jesus was a nomad he didn't have a home or a bed to sleep in for this man Jesus says it will cost you ease and comfort if you want to follow me you will no longer have a home Jesus approaches a second man and tells him to follow after this man says he would love to but first he has to bury his father Jesus says leave the dead to bury their own dead but as for you go and proclaim the kingdom of God that may sound a bit cruel

and insensitive of Jesus I mean let the poor guy go to his father's funeral however in that culture the burial process could last for months it may even be possible that the Man's father is not dead he could be waiting for his father to die to get his inheritance while we don't know know the exact circumstance what we do know is that Jesus is calling him to follow it may bring shame on him to leave before he buries his father yet the cost for this man to follow Jesus is favor from the world finally another

man comes to Jesus and says he will follow him however only after he goes home and says his goodbyes Jesus says no one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the the kingdom of God at the time of Jesus they didn't have computerized tractors to plow the land they used animals and plows for a farmer it's essential to plow a straight line if your line gets crooked that gives you less space to plant seeds with less space comes fewer crops so to keep a straight line as they plowed the

farmer would find a point directly across the way they were plowing by fixating on that point he would produce a straight line however if he looked back the plow would get off track and create a crooked line Jesus is telling this man that if you follow me there is no looking back if you follow me come and follow now it will cost you your closest relationships do you see how following after Jesus could cost you it will cost us our self-righteousness it will cost you your sin it will cost you a life of comfort and

ease in Matthew 16:4 in the Bible it says then Jesus said to his disciples whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me it can be easy to become desensitized to the idea of the Cross however the cross was the go-to route of execution by the Romans over centuries they had perfected this death tool to maximize as much pain as possible it would be like Jesus saying today take up your electric chair and Follow Me by Jesus saying this he is telling us to Bid Farewell to this

world and follow after him so what does it cost you to follow after Jesus the truth is whatever he calls you to give up for all of us it's our sin for all of us it's our self-righteousness for others it may be Comfort stability and yet for others it may be our very life Dietrich bonhof was a German Theologian during the time of Hitler's Reign he actually escaped Germany and came to America while in America he taught in a seminary after a while in America he felt a longing to go home and be with his

people as they suffered in in Germany since he often spoke out against Hitler and the other Nazis he was thrown in a concentration camp that is where he would spend the rest of his life until his eventual death many of us would hear this story and think he wasted his life as he could have stayed in America until the end of World War II however Bon Hofer had no reservations for what he did Dietrich Bon hoofer said in his book the cost of discipleship when Christ calls a man man he bids him come and die

he knew there was a cost to following Jesus and he was ready to pay it even if it meant his life so what is Jesus calling you to lay down on his behalf it may not be your life as is the case for boner however it may be your righteousness sin ease or favor whatever the cost is I promise it'll be worth it take up your cross and follow after him now as we pray each of us need to have a desire for the Lord to prepare our hearts for following Christ may we be committed

followers may we be loyal followers of Christ and may we be obedient even until the [Music] end dear Lord I pray that you would help us to live lives that please you as you continue to reveal your will to us through your word I pray that you would give us the grace to be obedient to your will father forgive us for our sins whether in thought or In Deed forgive us Lord if we have been living for self rather than living for you forgive us for all the times that we prioritize personal gain and selfish

Ambitions instead of doing things for your glory and for your honor Lord Jesus our prayer today is that you would help us to remain obedient to your word and to your will so that we would never be among those who say Lord Lord but your response is I never knew you depart from me I never knew you workers of iniquity father we don't want that to be us save us Lord we desire to have a real personal relationship with you help us to not be caught up in what we look like or what we have

but instead may we be focused on your word focused on your will and on really Living For You Lord I pray that we would be a people who speak the name of Jesus Christ boldly and we're able to speak it boldly because we have a close relationship with you when we praise you Lord and when we worship may it come from a deep place within our hearts and may it be genuine and heartfelt and connect with you father may we be so entrenched in your word that our lives will become living testimonies help us to

speak the gospel with conviction whenever we're given the opportunity may we live in obedience to your ways Lord and forsake the ways of our flesh your word in 1 John 2:17 says the world is passing away and with it it's lust the shameful Pursuits and ungodly longings but the one who does the will of God and carries out his purpose lives forever help us King Jesus so that we would not pursue the lust of the world keep our desires away from the shameful Pursuits keep us away from the ungodly things of this world in the

name of Jesus I pray that our minds would always be focused on the Heavenly things rather than anything here on this Earth your word in 1 Peter 2 veres 15-1 17 it is God's will that your honorable lives should silence those ignorant people who make foolish accusations against you for you are free yet you are God's slaves so don't use your freedom as an excuse to do evil respect everyone and love the family of Believers fear God and respect the king I pray that the way I live my life would be honorable before you Lord

may I be a person of integrity you've given me free will you've given me conscience you've given me the freedom to choose how I live my life and I pray that I would never take this freedom and willingly choose Evil By Your Grace father may I live a life of purpose A Life That's led by the fear of God a life that is led by faith father right now we say be praised and magnified you deserve all the glory and honor it's in Jesus name I pray amen with all that is happening around the world

tomorrow may look and feel very uncertain there are so many potential scenarios that are difficult for people to process are we literally moments away from the snatching away that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24: 43 through 41 where the Bible says then two men will be in the field one will be taken and the other left two women will be grinding at the Mill one will be taken and the other left our tensions Rising between countries and Nations so much so that a major war could start at any moment our living standards going to continue

to deteriorate and become even more difficult we are faced with with all of these possibilities and no one has a clear answer of what's Happening no one but God in heaven so then what are we to do does life just continue on as normal do we stop going to work and begin to fast and pray every day waiting for the Lord's return just what are we to do well I'd like to share with you some of the emails with questions that we've received recently the first one says I am looking at everything happening in the

world how can I overcome my fear about the times we live in another question read should Christians be concerned about the end times and one more question was should we be worried about what is happening and how close we are to Endtime Bible prophecy being fulfilled now these are just a few questions that we've received but I imagine there are many Christians out there in the world who are concerned uneasy anxious maybe or even tense when it comes to this present day and age but dear listener I'd like to tell you this in these uncertain

times you should not be worried because God's word has already told us the future we know what's to come we know how it all ends we don't have to worry because God's word tells us in Luke 21:28 when these things begin to take place stand up and lift up your heads because your Redemption is Drawing Near we don't have to worry because Matthew 6: 25 and 26 they say that is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life whether you have enough food and drink or enough clothes to wear isn't life more than

food and your body more than clothing look at the birds they don't plant or harvest or store food in barns for your heavenly father feeds them and aren't you far more valuable to him than they are and what should give you peace as a child of God is this God's track record it's perfect he has always defended his children he has always been faithful he has always rescued those who trust in him in the Book of Genesis when the whole world was filled with evil and wickedness God kept Noah and his family he protected the

one who trusted him when Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed God kept lot and his family he protected them in Exodus when the death angel passed through the land of Egypt God protected all those who trusted him and put Blood on the top and sides of their door frame and when the three Hebrew boys were cast into a fiery furnace God was right in there with them so my point is this the god that we serve Jehovah he has an extensive track record of keeping us protecting us preserving us therefore we have nothing to fear we

only have to trust in Jesus Christ the one who was the same yesterday today and forever more and so just as we took a moment and we look back at the things that God did in the lives of those Bible figures I want you to take a moment before we begin to pray and I want you to look back over your life and think about the things that God brought you through there were dark days there were maybe even scary days but you're still here God kept you everything may not have turned out the way

you wanted it to but he was faithful he's been God since before your first breath and he'll be God long after your last he is eternal and he is faithful you have to remember that he will never leave you nor will will he forsake you he'll be with you until the end dear friends this world if you're not careful this world will make you fearful news reports are constantly filled with stories that spell out fear people are fearful about the economy people are fearful about crime people are fearful about so many things but here's what

I'd like to tell tell you today if you're worried about something there's only one answer and that answer is the word of God if you're fearful the most potent remedy there is is the word of God if you're anxious about anything I mean anything at all the Cure is the word of God all in all as you get to know God's word you get to know God's voice and as you get to know God's voice you'll come to know that fear and worry are not from God now I'd like to share with you one of

my favorite passages of scripture I've read this portion in the Bible over and over again at different stages in my life and let me tell you it has strengthened me I pray that it will strengthen you today as well well Luke 12: 22-32 then turning to his disciples Jesus said that is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear for life is more than food and your body more than clothing look at the Ravens they don't plant or harvest or store food

in barns for God feeds them and you are far more valuable to him than any birds can all your worries add a single moment to your life and if worry can't accomplish a little thing like that what's the use of worrying over bigger things look at the lies and how they grow they don't work or make their clothing yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are and if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow he will certainly care for you why

do you have so little faith and don't be concerned about what to eat and what to drink don't worry about such things these things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers all over the world but your father already knows your needs seek the kingdom of God above all else and he will give you everything you need so Don't Be Afraid Little Flock for it gives your father great happiness to give you the Kingdom so you see friends our Lord has told us not to be anxious about our life this means that we should not allow the things

of this life to affect us to the point that we become fearful and filled with worry because we are in the care of an almighty God your word dear Lord says in Psalm 34 seven the angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them oh taste and see that the Lord is good blessed is the man who trusts in him Lord I Thank you for your promise of protection a Psalm that offers such a blessed hope today we're praying that your angels would encamp around us guard us in our homes

guard our families guard our coming in and going out May your presence surround us Lord give us the power we need to overcome the uncertainty that this world brings give us peace so that we will not allow fear and anxiety to hold us back we put our trust in you as we seek your blessings of divine protection today Lord we refuse to let anxiety or fear become our companion help us to trust in you help us not not to worry help us to put our trust in your ability to keep us safe and secure we

declare that we put our trust in you and we will rejoice always Because of You Psalm 3:8 says salvation Belongs to the Lord your blessing is upon your people sayaa your blessing is indeed Upon Our Lives and father we Rejoice because of this we give thanks to you in all our circumstances because your word says in Philippians 4: 6 and 7 it says do not be anxious about anything but in every situation by prayer and petition with Thanksgiving present your request to God and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts

and your minds in Christ Jes Jesus dear Master we trust that all our steps are ordered by you we have full confidence in your word that tells us to approach the throne of grace boldly and we have confidence that if we ask anything according to your will then we know that you will hear us Lord Jesus we thank you that you are our safe place you are the Chief Cornerstone of Our Lives you are our Strong Tower and we rely on you we trust you with our today and we trust you with our tomorrow you

Lord Jesus you're faithful we believe that you'll strengthen us we believe that you will protect us from the evil one and father right now I pray that you will bless us with peace I pray that you will bless us with a calm spirit bless us with a heart that is not troubled and Lord let it be so because we believe in you let it be so not only because you give us peace but because you are our peace Father be praised and be glorified Forever More in Jesus name amen are you a true believer of

Jesus Christ and let's just take a moment to define a believer of Jesus Christ now aside from the confession of faith that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose again to save them A True Believer in Jesus Christ is dead to self meaning that Galatians 5: 24 is a daily reality as the Bible says those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires this means life is no longer what you want life is no longer about what God can do for you or what others can do for you

A True Believer in Christ crucifies their flesh meaning they are at a place where they say to the Lord not my will but thy will be done I have a series of questions for you today questions that will and should get you to think and reflect on your own life dear Christian man or woman since you are a follower of Jesus Christ since you are a Believer are you striving to be more and more like Jesus Christ each and every day are you pursuing righteousness have you put to death the sinful ways which lead to

death James 1 verse 22-2 in the Amplified translation says but prove yourselves doers of the word actively and continually obeying God's precepts and not merely listeners who hear the word but fail to internalize its meanings deluding yourselves by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth for if anyone only listens to the word without obeying it he is like a man who looks very carefully at his natural face in a mirror for once he has looked at himself and gone away he immediately forgets what he looked like but he who looks carefully into the perfect law the

law of Liberty and Faithfully abides by it it not having become a careless listener who forgets but an active doer who obeys he will be blessed and favored by God in what he does in his life of obedience if you confess that you are saved does your life reflect that if you confess that you have faith in God do your actions reflect this dear Christian man or woman since you are a follower of Jesus Christ are you following the example that the Lord set while he was here on Earth are you praying often are you

forgiving are you taking yourself away from all of the noise and distractions of the world so that you can spend time alone with God are you living for the kingdom of God are you refusing to conform to this this world these are necessary and important questions for all of us to ask ourselves from time to time when was the last time you asked the question am I following the Ten Commandments Saints are we removing ourselves from the busyness of life so that we can pray are we turning off the distractions of the world so that

we can pray if the answer answer is no then I encourage you to start today start praying today start making your spiritual life a priority today start following the example that Jesus Christ set today begin to make a concentrated effort when it comes to how much time you're spending in God's word become consistent in your work with CHR Christ become Relentless as you search for a higher level of fellowship with God start today A True Believer in Christ is dedicated to serving serving the body of Christ serving the kingdom of God now we all know

that there are a lot of people in church but there aren't a lot of Godly men and women and this isn't a harsh statement but it's a reality it's a Biblical reality and let me show you what I mean Jesus in Matthew 7: 22 and 23 said many notice that this is the majority many will say to me on that day Lord Lord did we not prophesy in your name and drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles then I will tell them plainly I never knew you away from me you evildoers this

is the harsh reality you will find that there will be many people in the church but very few people are in Christ many people will profess the religion of Christianity but very few will practice the word of God many people will look holy and to the naked eye they will look like they have a first class ticket to heaven but beneath the surface beyond what the naked eye can see these people will not have Jesus Christ in their heart now to further explain this point of there being a lot of people in church but not

a lot of people in Christ the Bible in Matthew 7:13 and4 says enter through the narrow gate for wide is the gate and Broad is the road that leads to destruction and many enter through it but small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few will find it once again look at what the Bible says it says there are many who will enter by the broad road which leads to destruction once again this is the majority but only a few will find the narrow road that leads to life

and so my message for you today people of God is that we should be men and women who are truly followers of Jesus Christ and this starts with what we do in those private moments behind closed doors because when no one is looking that's when what you do counts God looks at the heart God is concerned with the heart now let us pray heavenly father I come to you seeking refuge and protection I come to you in recognition of your great might and power I worship your Holy Name Lord I Adore You Lord Jesus I

bow before you today I set my heart in your hands I humbly ask for your presence to walk with me you have said in Isa Isaiah 41:10 I will strengthen you and help you I will uphold you with my righteous right hand father I am seeking a double portion of Faith to sustain me along life's journey I acknowledge you Lord Jesus as my personal savior I acknowledge that you are the way the truth and the life I know that you are God I know that you are all powerful I know that you are in control

may your Holy Spirit continue to guide us and may your angels walk with us wherever we go may you strengthen us Lord with the power of your might dress us with your armor Lord so that we can stand firm against the schemes of the devil and as much as I am aware of the opposition that I will come up against as a Believer I also know the power that I have access to When I Call On the name that is above every other name the name of Jesus Christ I thank you Lord for your wonderful

sacrifice your precious blood has cleansed me of the filthy rags of sin and your mercy has clothed me me in a robe of righteousness a robe that covers me head to toe all because of the perfect work you completed on the cross I know that it is in you that I live it's in you that I move and have my existence I Surrender my life and my loved ones into your caring hands you are a God full of compassion I pray for your hand of protection to be upon me and my family Encompass us Lord

God Almighty with your wall of fire surround me and my family with your hedge of protection your blood Lord Jesus is living and it is powerful you are my shield and defense your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path do not let me stumble King Jesus I open my heart and my life to you so that you may take priority I pray that you would overthrow the plans and the plots of my enemies help me to overcome in the name of Jesus fight my battles Lord as you have promised

in your word you said in Exodus 14:14 that the Lord shall fight for you and you shall hold your peace I pray that you defend me and my family and let us hold our peace I pray that we are going to stand still to see the hand of God move in our lives in the name of Jesus Christ that we will stand and testify and say had it not been for the Lord we would have been consumed you are a God who moves mountains and regardless of the things happening around me regardless of the things

going on in this world you are our protector our keeper and Our Redeemer regardless of what may come you are still on your throne you are still a good God who will never leave me nor forsake me you are a God who brings peace in troubling times you Lord Jesus are faithful you are just and you are loving I trust and believe that you will strengthen me and protect me from the evil one father as your children we need to hear your voice speak to us father May the voice of your Holy Spirit be heard

in our hearts your word says in Exodus 15: 2 the Lord is my strength and my defense he has become my salvation he is my God and I will praise him my father's God and I will exalt him I thank you for your goodness and it's because you are good it's because you first loved me before I was ever formed in my mother's womb it's because you have proven Your Love time and time again it's because of all these reasons that I would rather dwell and abide in your presence than anywhere else in jesus' name
