what we're seeing on the runways what we're seeing online and really a taste of what is to come over the next 12 [Music] months well hello there and welcome back to my channel if you are new here my name is Kira and I share videos on shopping for the best Basics on the High Street how to build a capsule wardrobe and lots of other good stuff so if that sounds good to you then do hit subscribe because I would love to have you back for more videos so in today's video we are doing my big
2025 Trends Roundup video and this is one of my favorite videos to film it is so much fun talking about all of the new and upcoming Trends the ones that are sticking around the things that might be going away and I think that there is definitely a way that you can incorporate them in small ways into your wardrobe without overhauling your entire wardrobe for each of these Trends I have done a little edit of pieces that are very similar on the High Street so if there are any of these trends that really speak to you
maybe you have them in your own wardrobe already and you can start styling them or if you would like to pick up something from this trend I will have shopable edits for each of the trends Linked In My description below so without rambling on too much let's get into the trends that we are going to be seeing for 2025 first Trend we're going to talk about is a color Trend and it is baby pink Hues you might be someone who does not enjoy wearing baby pink I actually don't know if I have anything in my
wardrobe that is baby pink so this might be one of those trends that I will admire and enjoy from a far I'm May incorporate it in possibly some small ways into my wardrobe this trend is definitely encompassing the more natural neutral baby pink as opposed to the fuchsia pink that we saw last year potentially influenced by the release of the Barbie movie but this year it's more pastel think ballerina core think really fresh feminine soft pinks which actually are a lot easier to style in our wardrobes because when you look at a very pale blush
pink it's almost like a cream neutral in itself now speaking of color trends it was announced that the panone color of the year for 2025 is the shade Mocha Moose and it is a very neutral creamy light brown color now this is no surprise because Brown rained Supreme as one of the colors of the year for 2024 I think it was brown and burgundy were definitely the biggest colors that we saw filtered so much into fashion and fashion trends but this year we're going to see a more neutral muted version of it and this comes
under the next Trend that I'm going to talk about which is called the new neutrals colors like taes olives like muted Browns very earthy natural colors that we would see in nature as opposed to neutrals like your blacks and your whites we're seeing more again earthy tones and it's a really really easy one to style you probably already have these Shades in your wardrobe already I know for me I definitely wear a lot of black but I feel like in the last year I adopted so much more Brown into my wardrobe it's actually a very
versatile color to style the next big Trend we're going to be seeing in 2025 is polished boho and this Bohemian Trend was very much seen on the catwalks of the likes of Chloe with the oversized Ruffles the return of that kind of Bohemian Chic that we definitely saw in the early 2000s I'm thinking back to like the big floppy hats the big bell bottoms I definitely went through my face with that whereas now it is a more polished updated look on this Trend so think of things like oversized ruffle blouses exaggerated Silhouettes um you know
wideleg jeans that kind of slight 70s bell bottom style maybe with not as high of a waist but also things like waist coats that kind of suede detailing cordoy Fabrics it's all very Bohemian in nature and again this is not to say that you need to overhaul your wardrobe and Go full Bohemian it's more about taking nods of these Trends and incorporating it into your style maybe even by a different way of styling something or wearing something that you already have slightly differently and actually if you are coming to this video looking for inspiration on
how to revamp your wardrobe I would say you should go and look at my previous video which is how to reset your wardrobe for 2025 so if you're feeling a little bit lost with your personal style Trend videos are probably going to way over stimulate you I think you should look at the style reset rules that I live by every single year as opposed to jumping into Trend so moving on from polished bow oh ho the next Trend that I touched on previously is suede and corduroy Fabrics now it's no surprise to any fashion lovers
suede was massive for 2024 it was everywhere in accessories in bags in coats we saw a lot of Darker suedes a lot of Browns greens like deep Tans whereas for 2025 especially coming into spring summer we are seeing lighter Hues of sweat think of things like baby blues creams beiges I have the most beautiful clutch from a brand called flattered it's their clay suede clutch and it is a gorgeous like light creamy OE color and I wore it so much last spring summer and I will be taking it out again and wearing it just as
much this year I think it's a great way to incorporate the trend via an accessory without having to pick up a head to toe piece corduroy is another great one to look at because it is often a lot less expensive than suede so rather than picking up a full suede coat for example which can run very expensive Fabrics like corduroy still have that same texture to them they still have that textured kind of almost vintage style worn in look and I actually picked up a beautiful corduroy it's kind of like a shacket like an oversized
shirt jacket so I think keeping an eye out for corduroy jackets corduroy trousers I actually picked up a gorgeous pair of corduroy um kind of jeans or corduroy trousers we're going to be seeing a lot more of it and it's kind of like a less expensive cousin of suede but it still gives the same style nods as well the next render we're going to be seeing a lot of in 2025 I'm coining elevated a Leisure a Leisure wear always comes around as a trend because it is something that we wear so much of as people
I just feel like it's such a practical thing to wear and the fact that now trainers and you know your sports wear is actually seen as very cool and Chic and there are so many Brands doing it in a really cool chic way is fantastic because it means we can wear our comfies and still look stylish but this year what we were kind of looking at is again elevated atleisure so think of things like very kind of feminine atleisure where things like ballet and Pates have a lot of wrapped Cardigans and softer knits again you
can look at these in the baby pink Hues which I mentioned is going to be so popular um but it's just adding elements of these and again you probably have these in your wardrobe already if you're someone who goes to the gym or does any of these activities so maybe try and style them outside of the activity itself it's kind of a fun way to just give ideas for how to wear certain things in this elevated at leisure Trend we got to talk about trainers and there are always new trainers of the Season no prizes
for guessing what trainer reigned Supreme in 2024 it was the Adidas Samba you also had the Adidas gazelle and the Adidas spal very very similar shoe all very slim in their nature and I think it was the move from very chunky trainers to slim trainers that's really worth looking at because that is what we're going to be seeing for 2025 still slim trainers are still massive news they're really comfortable they're really practical if you want a few tips on what trainers I really think are going to be huge for 2025 look at the anuka Tigers
I mean they were massive in 2024 as well but they're definitely not as mainstream as sambas but I think they're heading in that direction so your on Asuka Tigers very very slim shoe come in a range of colors relatively affordable a little bit more than sambas depending on where you're shopping sometimes the rare ones can be more expensive but also the Puma speed cats these have been seen on so many celebrities and influencers and fashionable people and they're a very slim cool stylish shoe and they also come in a lot of suede finishes as well
so I have a pair of speed cats on my wish list there's a gorgeous like burgundy brown pair again I feel like they would style really really well with what I already have they're gorgeous I love them I would also love a pair of onisuka tigers looking at Adidas there's also the I think it's the s L's I'm going to put a picture of them here um but they're also a really really popular trainer that we are going to be seeing so much more of and again sambas are still so popular you do not need
to get rid of your sambas they're still gorgeous shoes I will be wearing mine I actually bought a new pair recently because I wear them so much so please do not watch these Trend videos and think that you need to get rid of anything it's just looking at what we're going to be seeing more of the next Trend we're going to talk about is kind of more of an aesthetic and it is coined Coastal Grandpa and I think this is so fun funny and we often see these like really funny quirky names for a type
of aesthetic that tends to come out as a trend and this year it's Coastal Grandpa it's kind of a Nautical Style Heritage vintagey inspired look but with a little bit of a Whimsical nautical twist so think of things like Stripes fisherman Stripes like boat neck long sleeve striped shirts things like Cardigans quirky knits in like prints and colors almost like that hair Heritage Ral luren aesthetic but a little bit more quirky and fun looking at people like Harry Styles and how he Styles his knitwear would be a perfect example of the coastal Grandpa it's kind
of like a quirky Heritage rather than a like old money clean girl Heritage if that makes sense these are things that you can dip in and out of but I'm just saying that this is something that we are going to be seeing more of and I think it's definitely very very fun to watch now following on from this we are going to be seeing the return of maximalism and this is definitely something that has been drip feeding in in the past probably 2 years it's almost like a subversion of the minimalist clean girl aesthetic that
definitely reigned Supreme especially during like the early kind of 2020s but now we're looking at the return of maximalism and I for one absolutely relish this I think it's so fun not everyone needs to dress in a maximalist way but it certainly makes the world a more interesting place when people really put their personality into how they dress really the more is more aesthetic it is print on print like clashing prints clashing colors printed tights on top of a printed skirt not just looking at prints and colors but looking at maximalism in accessories so things
like quirky brooches quirky buttons we're seeing a lot of people really cleverly switching out the buttons on their top and adding like custom brooches instead it gives this really incredible like scaparelli high-end look it's something I definitely need to try myself and it's just a really fun and playful look fashion in terms of not always feeling like you need to be matchy matchy and very understated it's people not being afraid to be loud with their outfits and again I think it's so fun so even if it's not for you it's super fun to watch and
maybe you can include nods and pieces of this in your personal style and I for one cannot wait to see more of this in 2025 so moving on from maximalism another Trend that we're going to be seeing a lot of which I kind of have touched on is the Heritage aesthetic now I did mention this in my previous Trend video and it's looking at things like traditional almost vintage inspired Aesthetics so Fabrics like Tweed boulay check print Heritage print things like Barber jackets wax jackets the old Countryside aesthetic or Countryside Chic something that is practical
in that for a lot of us living in Ireland in the UK our weather really calls for wax jackets Barber jackets like heavier Fabrics but it's also a trend in and of itself so so it's definitely something that I do buy into I love buying Fabrics like Tweed this is a men's blazer from RIS UMO I love the like mtled fabric on it it's so gorgeous even in my outerwear I love utility style trench coats wax jackets heavier jackets wax or the barber kind of style jacket I think they're also called Field Jackets was definitely
the jacket of the Autumn of 20124 it definitely was the most popular style people were looking for and these pieces can easily be found on the Vintage Market you can steal them from your boyfriend or your dad you know there's there's always ones lying around but it's definitely an aesthetic that isn't going anywhere and we're going to be seeing so much more of it in the next few winter months as we move into spring now another Trend that we're going to be seeing so much more of in 2025 is sheer details and again we've seen
nods to this in 2024 I think in terms of party wear we're seeing a lot of sheer details lace mesh and see-through pieces and like see-through midi skirts in that like fine sheer mesh it was definitely something I really enjoyed styling because the pieces that I picked up were really versatile and I could style them in lots of different ways so we're going to be seeing more of that coming into spring summer now of course it's going to be styled slightly differently for the warmer months things like mesh lace sheer panels and sheer cutouts in
outfits is going to be a big Trend but it's really up to you how you want to style this because I know for a lot of people sheer details in their clothing is is probably going to be little bit much whereas when you think of things like lace I do think lace and like creamy like more neutral colored lace is going to be really really big for the spring summer of 2025 wouldn't be a Trends video if I didn't touch on denim denim is not a trend it is a staple it is a forever forever
piece however just like fashion in general we will see Trends within denim that come and go the style of Jean that I really think is going to still be huge in 2025 is the bar leg or the kind of horseshoe leg Jean it was huge news for 2024 it came out as quite a new style in the last few years and I know in the beginning a lot of people kind of saw it as Marmite it's an either love it or hate it kind of thing but I actually find this style of denim incredibly Chic
and really really flattering it also looks beautiful paired with a really dainty shoe so you have this like kind of balloon style Jean or a barrel style and then it tapers in and you have this beautiful elegant shoe whether it's a slim loafer B flat or a Mary Jane it just looks so Chic definitely be wearing mine into 2025 I don't see them going anywhere what we're also going to be seeing with denim is again the continuation of the denim shirt again denim is as I said always reigning Supreme it's not a trend it is
a staple but really we saw so many denim shirts denim jackets and almost denim as outerwear in the last year and it's not going anywhere we're also going to still see so much matching denim sets things like your dark Indigo denims they're still really really popular which is great they're still super easy to style they're so so sheap but the slim Jean is back and it has been coming back for a while and I know a lot of people hate to hear this but it's not the spray on skinny jean that we lived in in
the early 2000s so do not worry it is more like a slim tapered Jean so think of a '90s kind of minimalist style Jean I picked up a pair of midrise straight leg jeans from abomi a few month ago and they very quickly became my most worn pair of jeans of 2024 I absolutely lived in them so much so that I bought them in other colors and I'm currently on the weight list to get them in another color that keeps going out of stock but they are slim and tapered at the leg so so if
you've been hearing about this and you're like oh my God what's going on it is coming back but it's in a different more wearable more Chic way than before another huge trend for 2025 is statement accessories and again we've seen so much of this in 2024 and it feeds into lots of different Trends but statement accessories so think of things like statement brooches almost vintage inspired that ties into the maximalism trend belts not so much for function but for accessorizing again this ties into the boho Trend adding double belts chunky belts belting your Blazers belting
your coats it's definitely something that we're seeing so so much of or like embellished belts like Western nods we're also seeing it in jewelry oversized jewelry very like quirky necklaces for such a long time dainty minimal jewelry was really the the main Trend whereas now we're seeing so many quirky pieces like real statement pendant necklaces and things like chunky Bangles stacked Bangles just jewelry that really makes a statement and again the more individual the better the last big Trend I'm going to talk about is one that we touched on in 2024 and it is of
course animal print but the update on animal print is that it's not just about leopard print for 2025 and definitely leopard print was the big print of 2024 but this year we are looking at all types of animal print so think snakes skin which is kind of I think leopard print's slightly Cher more neutral cousin but also things like cow hide print that kind of like horsehair cow hide looking at things like zebra if you're brave enough super super fun again this ties into maximalism and that quirkiness that we're seeing more in our style in
2025 so take all of these Trends really with a pinch of salt but it's just looking at what we're seeing on the runways what we're seeing online and really a taste of what is to come over the next 12 months that is a Roundup of some of the trends that we're going to be seeing for 2025 I would love to know which ones are you loving which ones are you hating are there any that you're going to be incorporating and of course as I mentioned if you would like to see some curated edits for any
of these Trends I have linked them all in the description below so if you want to check out what is on on the High Street for all of these Trends everything you need will be down below if you liked this video please do give me a thumbs up to let me know and if you have not already then be sure to subscribe to my channel I post new videos every single week and I would love to have you back for more thank you so much for watching and I'll see you my next one bye [Music]
