[Music] There was a crow who felt extremely unhappy. He thought he was ugly, he didn't like the color of his feathers and he cried with sadness. Suddenly, a monk saw him crying and asked why he was crying.
The crow replied that his life was very bad with those black feathers. He said that no one liked the black man, no one liked him, no one wanted him as a pet, and that he spent most of his time scavenging because no one fed him. The monk asked what he would like to be if he had the chance to be born again.
The bird said he would like to be a white swan, with that beautiful color that symbolized peace. The monk agreed and transformed him into a swan, but before that, he recommended that he go and talk to the swan. When he found the swan, he exclaimed, "Wow, what a beautiful color God gave you!
You look amazing. You must be very happy! " The swan replied, "Who said I'm happy?
White is a horrible color, and it's not even a color. I'm not happy. " The two went to the monk, and the swan asked the monk to transform him into another bird.
When the monk asked what it would be, he replied that he would like to be a parrot, because of the green colors of his feathers and because he could talk. He said he would do it, but only after he went to talk to the parrot. It took a long time before they found the parrot in the woods.
When they found him, the swan admired the color of his feathers and commented on how happy he must be. However, the parrot said he wasn't happy, and that the problem was the green color of his feathers, the same as the color of the leaves on the trees, and he didn't stand out. The three went to the monk so that the parrot asked for a chance to change too.
He said he wanted to be a peacock again. The monk replied that he could transform him after he went to talk to the peacock. When they saw him, the three admired him with his colorful feathers, and the parrot mentioned that he should be very happy to have such colorful feathers and to be photographed by everyone who admired him.
The peacock said he was very unhappy because hunters killed them to sell the feathers, which were used in decorations. “Do you think this is life? ” he asked.
"If you could change, which bird would you be? Which one do you think would be happier? " The peacock said he would like to be a crow, and the crow was surprised.
"Have you ever heard of a crow sandwich? Have you ever seen a crow feather being sold for decoration? Is there a hunter trying to kill you?
If the answer is no to these questions, who do you think is living a happy life, me or you? ? It doesn't matter who you are, where you are, what you look like or what you have.
You are amazing being yourself. Never compare yourself to others. There is no one better than you.
You are unique, and for this reason, It's amazing who you are and what you do in your own way is your true power. " The story highlights the importance of being grateful for what we have instead of constantly wishing we were something we are not. The bird realized that by accepting and embracing its own characteristics, it could find happiness in the life it already had.
The lesson here is that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. We often wish we were someone or something different, thinking that this would bring us happiness and satisfaction. However, true happiness comes from accepting who we are and appreciating the good things we have in our lives.
Constantly comparing yourself to others can lead to dissatisfaction and ignore the unique blessings each person possesses. And so, we finish another story of tales and parables. I hope you enjoyed today's video, and if you are not yet subscribed to the channel, I invite you to subscribe right now.
