Fix Your Eyes on Jesus and Watch Everything Change | Morning Prayer

before we pray let's first take a moment to listen to God's word and then we'll pray together if you want to feel overwhelmed just look inside yourself you'll find endless thoughts swirling in your mind worries that won't rest questions without answers you'll see your own flaws your own limitations your own inability to control the things that matter most the deeper you look within the more you'll realize how much you lack strength wisdom certainty and if you keep looking inward you'll start to drown in the weight of your own insufficiency if you want to feel defeated

just look back at your past regret will creep in like a shadow reminding you of every mistake every wrong decision every moment you wish you could undo the enemy loves to drag you back to the places where you failed Whispering lies that you'll never change that you'll never be free from what's behind you and if you keep staring at your past you'll start to believe that your story is already written that your worst moments Define you that there's no way forward if you want to feel anxious just look ahead at an unknown future the wh

ifs will come rushing in what if you fail what if things don't go as planned what if you lose what you love the future is unpredictable and the more you try to grasp control over it the more anxious you will feel because the truth is you were never meant to carry the weight of tomorrow on your shoulders and if you keep trying to figure it all out on your own worry will consume you but if you want to be free if you want to be at peace if you want to be saved then look up

look up to Jesus lift your eyes Beyond yourself beyond your past beyond the noise of the world beyond the uncertainty of Tomorrow set your Gaze on the one who is greater the one who never changes the one who holds all things together life will press down on you with burdens you were never meant to carry you'll try to be strong but human strength is temporary you'll try to find Clarity but the world is full of confusion you'll try to seek security but nothing here lasts forever and if you dwell on your past you'll feel like

you'll never be good enough the enemy will remind you of your failures convincing you that you are Beyond Redemption but Jesus sees your past differently he doesn't see a list of disqualifications he sees a testimony in the making he sees how his grace can restore how his love can heal how his power can transform he is not ashamed of your past he is ready to redeem it that's why you must keep your eyes on Jesus because if you don't the world will distract you it will tempt you with temporary Pleasures things that promise Joy but

leave you empty it will keep you chasing after things that cannot fulfill the Deep hunger of your soul and if you fix your eyes on the future fear will take hold of you the unknown will feel terrifying the uncertainty will shake your faith and the weight of Tomorrow will crush you but when you fix your eyes on Jesus you don't have to fear the unknown because he holds the future in his hands so here is what I want you to remember no matter what happens keep your eyes on Jesus when you feel weak look to

Jesus for he is your strength when your past tries to haunt you look to Jesus for he has redeemed you when you don't know what tomorrow holds keep your eyes on Jesus for he is already there in every season in every moment through every storm fix your eyes on the one who never changes Jesus Christ the author and finisher of our faith the one who walks with you the one who holds you the one who saves look up and don't look away now let's join together in prayer King Jesus there is no one like you

you reign in power and Majesty clothed in glory seated high above all things your name is above every name and at your name every knee shall bow every tongue shall confess that you are Lord heaven declares your Splendor and creation testifies of your great yet despite your majesty you see me you call me by name you know my heart my thoughts my struggles and my weaknesses yet you love me with an everlasting love Holy Spirit help me to fix my eyes on Jesus help me to stay focused on him no matter what distractions come my

way the world is filled with noise with voice voices that try to drown out your truth but let your voice be the loudest in my heart teach me to recognize your Whispers to be sensitive to your leading to hunger for your presence more than anything else let me not be moved by what I see for the things of this world are temporary my emotions are fleeting circumstances are ever changing but your truth remains unshaken anchor my heart in your word Lord your word says in Psalm 16:8 I have set the lord always before me because

he is at my right hand I shall not be moved Lord I choose to place you before me in everything I do I Surrender my plans my dreams my desires I lay them at your feet I don't want to be led by my feelings or by the shifting tides of life I want to be led by you I want to walk in step with your spirit to go where you lead me to move when you say move and to wait when you say wait keep my heart steady Lord so that when the storms of life

come I will not be shaken When Trials arise I will stand firm because you are with me I have nothing to fear take the lead in my life Lord have your way in me break every chain that keeps me from fully following you tear down every Idol every distraction every weight that tries to pull my attention away I want you to be my first love my greatest desire my deepest longing father I confess that sometimes I try to handle things on my own I act as if I have the strength to carry my burdens alone

I lean on my own understanding trying to figure things out trying to control what is beyond me but today I lay it all down I Surrender my anxieties my uncertainties my fears I choose to trust you I choose to fix my eyes on Jesus my rock my Foundation my refuge in the storm Holy Spirit remind me when I start to drift away let your voice be clear calling me back whenever my heart starts to W if I become too caught up in the things of this world shake me wake me up bring me back to

my first love don't let me settle for temporary Pleasures for distractions that steal my focus convict me when I prioritize the wrong things stir my heart heart until I return to you Lord give me a steadfast Spirit unwavering and devoted if life is good let my eyes be on Jesus if life is hard let my eyes be on Jesus whether I stand in a season of abundance or a season of lack whether I walk through the valley or stand on the mountain let my eyes never leave Jesus your word says in Hebrews 12:2 fixing our

eyes on Jesus the Pioneer and perfector of faith for the joy set before him he endured the cross scorning its shame and sat down at the right hand of the Throne of God teach me Lord to examine my heart Daily Show me where my focus has drifted reveal the areas of my life where I have placed my trust TR in something other than you strip away anything that competes for my devotion because Jesus you are the one who saved me you are the one who gave your life for me if it wasn't for your mercy

where would I be oh Lord if you had not shed Your Precious Blood how could I ever be redeemed what hope would I have what Future Would I hold but because of your sacrifice I stand forgiven because of your grace I have been made new there is no one like you Jesus none as loving none as powerful none as faithful that is why I will fix my eyes on you you stretched out your arms on the cross and called me to repentance Your Love reached me when I was lost your mercy lifted me when I

was drowning in sin and because of you I Rejoice I lift my voice in Praise because I am saved I am Sanctified and I Am Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb right now in this moment I Praise You Lord I glorify your name I exalt you above everything in my life because if it wasn't for Jehovah jir who would provide for me if it wasn't for for El Shai who would sustain me if it wasn't for the lion of the tribe of Judah who would fight for me I worship you Lord because you are
