if you want to become a K-pop Idol in the future you need to quit these 10 habits right now it might be hard to change your lifestyle overnight but if you can't do it you might as well give up on your dream the first thing you should stop doing is using social media such as Tik Tok Facebook Instagram or Twitter you might be wondering why since many K-pop Idols have their own accounts on these platforms even black pink and BTS have social media yes that's true but let me ask you this have you ever seen
their old social media accounts the ones they had before they joined the k pop industry no you haven't because they deleted them before signing the contract with their company to debut as Idols that's because some K-pop traines might have posted something controversial in the past like something racist toxic or political remember there are many K-pop Idols who debuted but got canceled later because some people from their High School accused them of being bullies they had solid evidence from their old social media accounts sometimes something that we post on social media in 2023 might not seem
controversial at all but who knows what will be considered defensive were unacceptable and 5 years later so stop using social media accounts I'm not asking you to completely cut off from the online world but don't post or share too much or to be safe you can create a ghost account without a profile picture and do whatever you want without worrying about your future the second thing that you should avoid before becoming a K-pop traine is getting surgery this might surprise you too because many K-pop Idols have had surgery but those are the oldfashioned or old
school K-pop Idol K-pop companies nowadays value natural beauty Beauty more and we can see that many new K-pop groups don't have any members who have had surgery moreover even if they do have surgery it's the K-pop company that has the right to decide whether you need it or not and if a K-pop Idol has surgery the company will keep it a secret and do as little as possible to avoid fans noticing that their favorite Idol has changed that's because when you sign the contract to become a K-pop trainee your body is no longer yours to
control the company is the one that controls your body from your weight your hair color your diet the clothes you wear to the places you can or can't go the third thing you should never do is being a sassing fan we all know that every K-pop Idol before they become a K-pop Idol they are also a K-pop fan like us but don't be a sassing fan a sassing fan is someone who is obsessed with a K-pop Idol or group and stalks them invades their privacy and sometimes even harms them this is not only creepy and
illegal but also very disrespectful and dangerous you might think you're showing your love and support but you're actually hurting them in yourself no K poop Idol wants to have a sassine fan and no entertainment company wants to sign one so if you're one of those people who follows your bias everywhere sends them creepy messages or tries to get their personal information stop it right now the fourth thing you should never ever do is don't give up on your education I know you might think that school is boring and useless and that you don't need it
if you want to be a K-pop Idol but trust me you do education is important for everyone especially for someone who wants to enter the entertainment industry you need to have basic knowledge and skills such as Reading Writing math history geography Etc you also need to learn foreign languages such as English Chinese Japanese Etc these will help you communicate with fans and staff from different countries and also expand your Market ability and opportunities plus having a good education will make you look more intelligent and respectable which are qualities that K-pop Idols should have so don't
neglect your studies and don't drop out of school you can balance your education and your training and you'll be glad you did the fifth thing you should never ever do is don't be overweight and stay fit this might sound hard but it's the truth K-pop Idols are expected to have slim and tone bodies and to maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle this is not only for aesthetic reasons but also for performance reasons you need to have stamina and endurance to dance and sing for hours on stage and to cope with the hectic schedules and activities
of an idol being overweight or unfit will affect your health and your abilities and also your image and reputation you might face criticism or discrimination from the public or the industry if you don't fit the standards of beauty and fitness that they have so don't let your yourself go and don't eat junk food or skip exercise take care of your body and your health and work hard to achieve your ideal shape and condition sixth thing you should never ever do is don't create enemies when you are in high school high school can be a tough
and stressful time for everyone and you might encounter some people who are mean rude or jealous of you you might be tempted to fight back to gossip to spread rumors or to bully them but don't do that don't stoop to their level and don't make enemies you never know who you might meet again in the future and how they might affect your career they might become your classmates your colleagues your rivals or even your fans they might have connections or influence in the industry and they might use them against you they might expose your past
or your secrets and they might ruin your reputation so don't burn Bridges and don't make enemies be nice be respectful and be mature you'll thank yourself later the seventh thing you should never ever do is don't openly date or have romantic relationships this might sound unfair and unrealistic but it's the reality of the K-pop industry dating is a taboo and a scandal for K-pop Idols especially for rookies and trainees it can cause a lot of problems and controversies such as fan backlash media attention company restrictions contract termination Etc can also distract you from your training
and your goals and make you lose focus and motivation you might think you're in love and that nothing else matters but trust me it does you have a dream to pursue and you have a responsibility to yourself and to your fans so don't date anyone and don't get involved in any romantic relationships keep your personal life private and keep your professional life professional you can date when you're older and more established but not now the eighth thing you should not do is don't neglect your skills you might think that you're already good enough and that
you don't need to practice or improve your skills but trust me you do the K-pop industry is very competitive and demanding and you need to have outstanding skills and talents to stand out and succeed you need to be able to sing dance rap act model ET you need to be versatile and adaptable and able to perform different genres and styles you need to be creative and original and able to express yourself and your personality so don't neglect your skills and don't stop learning and growing practice every day take lessons watch videos listen to music ET
a challenge yourself and push yourself to the limit you'll be amazed by how much you can improve and achieve the nineth thing you should not do is don't disrespect and don't ignore Korean culture you might be from a different country or background and you might have different values or beliefs but you need to respect and understand the culture of the country and the industry that you want to enter you need to learn the language the history the Customs the etiquette Etc you need to follow the rules the Norms the expectations Etc you need to appreciate
the art the music the food Etc don't be ignorant arrogant or rude don't offend or insult anyone or anything don't act like you know better or that you're above anyone or anything be humble be curious and be open-minded number 10 the final and most crucial thing you should steer clear of if you aspire to become a K-pop Idol is having a poor health condition I understand that this is not something you can always control some people might be unfortunate enough to be born with a chronic disease but if you are blessed with good health please
cherish it and maintain it because if a K-pop company discovers that you have a serious or long lasting illness you might be instantly rejected or dropped from the debut lineup and you might also struggle to endure the grueling training sessions that last for hours on end or the harsh diet that the company imposes on you one way to keep your health in check is to exercise regularly and get enough sleep exercise can help you improve your stamina strength and flexibility which are all essential for a K-pop Idol sleep can help you recover from fatigue stress
and illness and also boost your mood and creativity try to aim for at least 7 hours of sleep every night and avoid staying up late or pulling all nighters another thing you should avoid is smoking or drinking alcohol these habits can damage your vocal cords lungs liver and other organs and also affect your appearance and performance smoking can make your voice horse dry or raspy and also increase your risk of cancer drinking alcohol can make you gain weight dehydrate you and impair your judgment and coordination if you want to be a K-pop ID you should
prioritize your health and well-being over these temporary pleasures
