and proudly displayed it amorus was skeptical taking the pipe and striking it with her mithril sword seeing that it remained undamaged amorus was stunned the pipe's quality surpassed her own mithril gear both amoris and Lily suspected that zero had stolen it from somewhere zero explained that an old man he had saved had crafted it and asked them to trust him a little amoris sought confirmation from grace who vouched for Zero's story and finally amoris believed him just then the little ones burst through the window reporting their findings to zero he devised a plan to send

the spirits on a reconnaissance mission exploiting the opponent's weakness since only he could see them the girls watched as zero seemingly conversed with himself again but Grace had an inkling about his behavior zero shared the Intel he had gathered about their enemy he informed the girls that there was only one path in the cave and that 15 lizard men were lounging inside Lily questioned The credibility of Zero's information worried that such baseless claims could jeopardize Grace's crucial Quest zero fabricated a story claiming he had spoken to some of the villagers amoris and Lily were doubtful

with embarrassment amoris on the other hand looked surprised Grace asked about her own safety but zero ignored her Amorous being an airhead took Zero's words as a friendly gesture while Lily thought otherwise Grace still protesting being left out fell silent as zero patted her head he thanked her for backing him up and his close sweaty face and nickname made Grace blush she exclaimed that she didn't like her nickname and amoris pointed out hers too zero told the sisters to shut up and asked them to continue planning the group soon returned to the cave entrance upon

had already fallen asleep the first part of their plan was to create a massive puddle using Lily's ice magic which would be melted by Grace's fire to lure out the monsters the second part involved using amaris's lightning magic to electrocute the lizard men as soon as they stepped on the puddle zero warned the girls not to step on the puddle by mistake the third part of the plan would involve zero and amoris with instructions for grace and Lily to shoot the lizard men with magic when they came close to the puddle amoris then suggested creating

an ice wall using Lily's magic to group the lizard men together allowing amoris and zero to focus on the melee fight while the other two remained at a safe distance zero was speechless not expecting amorus to come up with a decent plan with Lily's Final Touch the lizard men's subjugation Quest had begun seeing everyone in position made zero glad he announced that it was time to start zero created loud noises using a frying pan and an earth spirit's head amoris asked where the pan had even come from zero told them to focus and look as

the lizard men were emerging enraged Grace was taken aback and started firing Fireballs towards the monsters zero couldn't believe Grace had no self-control a fireball then flew towards zero and he deafly deflected it with his mithril pipe as if playing baseball the fireball then homered towards the lizard men and zero felt proud amorus called it Reckless but it was impressive that zero could deflect magic like that zero told her to shut up and instructed her that it was her turn amorus then pulled out her sword and stabbed it into the ground electricity crawled across the

area zero told her to control herself however amorus went overboard and everyone was left stunned as the whole place flashed a bright light in the middle of the night a minute later the aftermath revealed a dried up puddle and a serving of dozens of fried lizard men cooked to Perfection zero complained about amaris's actions but the princess pointed out that the monsters had been annihilated in the end zero then counted the dead lizard men and only came up with 10 of them Grace then told zero to watch out as a huge Fireball was flying toward

him Grace then pushed zero to the side and received a frontal attack recalling Grace's smile zero grabbed his mithil pipe and ran towards the cave amoris told him to stop since Grace was fine but zero didn't listen amorus then left Grace to Lily's care and chased after zero zero couldn't help but curse at Grace's actions thinking she should still receive the praise she wanted from her father he felt stupid and started cursing himself then the lizard men in front of him a huge lizard man tried to chop him down and zero barely dodged it he

claimed he didn't feel any pain and fought back however the lizard man still stood tall zero got pissed off and kicked it down looking down on the lizard man like a thug just then amorus told him to move aside and activated her lightning magic her face filled with anger zero tried to warn her about using such magic inside the cave but amorus didn't listen for the second time and Unleashed her magic attack zero couldn't do anything about it Lily heard the explosion that happened inside the cave inside amoris looked proud but zero was totally pissed

off by her recklessness he explained that using such an attack would make the cave collapse of course amorus didn't know that zero then started panicking as the cave began to crumble however he was distracted by the dead lizard man turning into an egg he picked it up and wondered what it was amorus asked what he was doing and told zero to run fortunately the two were able to escape the cave amoris claimed it hadn't collapsed at all and zero was only overthinking right after she said that the cave broke down and sealed the entrance worried

next time if she was planning to do something Reckless he then casually patted her head and genuinely thanked her amoris and Lily looked worried by this scene just then zero recall picking up something near the lizard man's corpse and asked what it was omus told him to stop holding it and slapped Zero's arm zero asked what her problem was amoris then asked if zero was not feeling well or something zero was fine though which made amorus confused Grace asked what the stone was and amorus asked her not to touch it angered and doubtful amoris asked

when he tried to say something zero started sweating and feeling nervous he then noticed Grace's worried face and amaris's hateful look he realized that he didn't want to be hated he was planning to tell amoris and Lily about his background so he could close the distance between them he laughed recalling how in his past life he was always putting up a tough front amoris asked why he was laughing zero then concluded that it would be dangerous to touch the stone however he confessed that he really didn't know what it was and it was only a

claimed one more time that he didn't have such thoughts moreover Grace pointed out how unskillful zero was Zero got pissed off by her words on top of that Lily and amaris gave him a teasing look what made it worse were the spirit's agreement since Grace had already said a lot of words amorus decided to trust zero in the meantime every one calmed down and zero asked what the stone was amaris confessed that she also didn't know much she had heard that there were people claiming that Spirits were higher life forms of their world and didn't

exist to be controlled by humans hence be liberated they believed that the use of spirits would bring chaos to the world the spirits looked proud for some reason zero asked what the black stone was and amoris exclaimed that it had some sort of connection to The Liberation troop and was a dangerous object that could suck up its holder's magical power looking worried Grace asked what happened to a person after their magical power got all sucked up amoris claimed they could be stuck in a coma and never wake up Lily then wondered why zero was still

spirit of Earth was from the East zero decided to go to the South where it was relatively close after a day in the Forest he considered home it was time for zero to set out again however along the way he heard a familiar scream he sensed a feeling of deja vu hearing someone ask for help yes it was Grace once again Grace noticed Zero's scary glare and called him a monster however she quickly recognized him and asked him not to give her that glare she hid behind him asking to be saved goblins then appeared and

zero couldn't help but recall how useless Grace was he scolded her knowing that she had already powered up her magic since Contracting a spirit Grace claimed she had had already burned most of them to dust but had ended up using most of her Mana pool she tried to make an excuse by acting cute but zero was not buying it Grace apologized in the end Grace then went back to the main concern and asked if they should run away zero refused saying he would happily beat down the Goblins Grace called him a muscle brain zero charged

toward the Goblins exclaiming that he didn't want to hear such words From Grace he grabbed the trusty Stone axe he had from the start and threw it at one of the Goblins the other goblins were distracted and zero used this chance to smack one of them with the mithil pipe one tried to crawl away but zero stepped on its leg zero wore a villainous face unlike his status as the main character of this story zero then instructed Grace to provide some support and lifted his bloodied mithril pipe he saw three more goblins left but their

also no idea where to go he was only told to head south by the great spirit of Earth Grace couldn't believe even zero didn't know zero then claimed they were looking for a forest since one of the great spirits was residing in a forest he assumed it would be the same case for the others however Grace pointed out that there were no forests in the South since it was full of volcanoes ores and mineral ferals zero was at his Wit's End as he didn't know where to go with no hints at all he then noticed

the little ones and realized they must know something he spread out his map and made the spirits check where they should go the spirits then happily pointed out on the map where to go next seeing Zero's finger pointing in a specific area Grace screamed in confusion zero was surprised and asked what was wrong with her grace exclaimed that the area was the fuse volcano a dangerous and forbidden Place zero understood and decided to go Grace claimed it was a dangerous place zero exclaimed it was fine and gave Grace a pat on the head he fully
