The RIGHT Way To Use Manychat In 2025 | Full Tutorial

Menat is by far the most powerful social media tool for 2025 but a lot of people are only using this in the most basic way sending out links when they could be collecting emails phone numbers and a bunch of different information from their leads even if you have nothing to sell you should be collecting all this information so I'm going to walk you through automations from basic to more advanced and even show you how you can bring in some make automations to really step up your mini check game for 2025 there will be different chapters

throughout this video let's get right into it I personally have collected over 10,000 emails from minichat and over 6,000 emails from a single automation it has single-handedly brought me in tens of thousands of dollars from the conversations I've started with leads and then ended up closing those on different products so starting off here you can see exactly where I was talking about I got over 6,000 emails from a single flow and I'm going to walk you through in this video how we can make a flow very similar to this and this is so people would

download a freeb from me and then I would collect their email in return I know all this might look a little complicated but I promise you once we walk through it it's going to be pretty simple something I want to mention right now is obviously you can watch this video and you can go through all the steps I'm going to walk you through it but me and my team do set up many chat automations from basic to Advanced for people like Realtors content creators coaches Consultants anything in between if you want to check that out

there is going to be a link in the description but again I'm going to walk through some ones you can Implement on your own in the video as well right now so we're going to start off by clicking new Automation and we're just going to start from scratch so a couple different ways you can do this you can go ahead start a new trigger and then we can say hey if some somebody comments on a post somebody replies your story if they send you a message comment on your live any of these different options we

can start it off with it doesn't really matter what you choose because it's going to be the same process regardless but let's just go with someone comments on your post now we are going to select if we want to be a specific reel all poster reels or the next poster reel I typically only do a specific reel or a next poster reel I don't like to do all poster reels because you never know what you're going to post in the future so you don't want somebody commenting a word that they might post on a future

video that they don't mean to trigger this automation we're just going to choose next for the time being we're going to say that the keyword is Superman because people aren't going to be commenting Superman on my videos so this won't turn anything on right now but you want to make this something that somebody is going to comment so if you see at the end of the video somebody saying hey comment the word guide and I'll send over my free guide they're going to set up their keyword as guide I'm going to click continue here and

then it'll give you some automated messages here that you will reply with you can make these whatever you want here or you can turn them off I'm just going to go ahead and turn it off for this video right now but I would suggest doing something there you could say hey did you see that hey make sure you're following so you can get the message or you can just say something along the lines of headed your way boom now that we've got that set up we can go through and do the most basic one so

let's say you say comment the word guide to get my free guide you can say here's the guide exclamation point and then you can go ahead and add a link here right so I'm just going to go test.com but you can send them to wherever you want to send it to this could be you know your website it could be a landing page it could be gumroad it could be it could be kits it could be whatever you want it to be right could be a YouTube video here right so think of the possibilities with

this you can send somebody to a booking page you can send somebody off platform to maybe a YouTube video that you're talking about that's something that I do consistent with my videos you could send them to a home listing if you're a realtor you could send them to a free workout plan if you're a fitness coach right the possibilities are endless with just this one basic automation but this is where a lot of people stop they don't do anything past this right they just have these butttons and that's all that they have right now something

you can do here now let's say you have multiple guides or you have let's say you're a fitness coach and you have you know an upper body freebie that you have and a lower body freebie well you can go in here add a tag and then you can say add tag and then you can say upperbody right boom we're going to just create that tag cuz obviously I don't have it and boom so now anybody who clicks this button you know is interested in the upper body freebie and the reason this is important is because

you can now go into to the live chat here and then you could filter it by a condition at a tag you could filter it by upper body so now obviously I don't have anyone who's messaged me that but you can now look at anyone who has interacted with that freebie and you can go follow up with them right this is especially powerful if you're sending somebody to a booking page or a paid product page because you can go follow up with them ask if they had any issues with the purchase ask if you want

to answer any questions before they go and buy something or just any general help that they need here so this is a really simple way to stay on top of the people clicking on these buttons here just this simple tagging mechanism is going to already put you ahead of a lot of people using Min chat because they're not using the tag system system at all they're just letting people come in here and they don't really have any way to keep track of them and they kind of get lost in the abyss so yes you can

send people directly to assets but if you're not actually tagging them properly they're going to just be lost in the sea of commenters and you're not really going to be able to interact with them as much as you'd like so now a bit more advanced here is something like this we're going to go ahead and delete this it's going to be the same exact thing right same exact trigger where they come with the word Superman but now what we're going to go in here and do is text and we're going to say are you here

for the guide okay they're going to click the button yes and then we're going to send them a new message after that right and this is super important so make sure you're paying attention right here you're going to click out of this because if you don't do this when you try and collect their email or their phone number or any information right now it's just going to store it as a message and it's not actually going to store it in the contact data so what you need to do is click on data collection you can

click on here and you're going to say that their reply is actually their email right so you're going to save it to the system field it's going to email optin and then boom we're good to go here you can put any message here I'm going to leave it as is right now before you continue please send your email so we can contact you later right you can send anything you want here right a typical message I might put in there is you know hey what's the best email for me to send over the free guide

to right they give that to you and now what we're going to be able to do is once they do that I send a message typically like this I just say sweet the email is headed over but here is the gu guide so you have it right and now you've collected their email but you want to make sure that they maybe don't you know fall off in the minute it's going to maybe take for email system to go send them that automated email so you can just go ahead and send them the link in here

as well so now you know you have it in the messages that they're going to see right away and later when they go to their email they're also going to be able to see it there so you kind of have two chances for them to actually open it and interact it right and again that's where you can go ahead and tag these people right you can tag them with upper body again here is what you could do okay so we go upper body if they don't respond we can go ahead and we can say okay

we're going to wait an hour cuz we don't want to bug them with a bunch of messages right away and then we're going to go ahead and we're going to create this same exact message again right so we're going to do that we're going to go email and then boom right if they do respond we can just link this back to here we don't have to create a new message and then we're not going to message them again if they don't respond after the second time because we just don't want to be bugging people here

right now the really really powerful part of this is if you're using you know something like I specifically am using kit right previously known as convert kit because it directly integrates with Min chat and what I mean by that is I can go on here I can add this action I can click convert kit and now I can add a tag to someone inside of convertkit right so when I collect this email let's say I want to just add them to you know the many chat tag so now not only am I going to be

able to send this person a link in the messages here and I'm going to have them tagged properly so I know that they actually care about the upper body stuff over on my EMS so convert kit AKA kit now they are going to see okay this person came in and they got the tag so I have their email and I have them tagged properly over there as well so these two systems are talking to each other I would go ahead and just add the same exact thing here for when I go ahead and we ask

the second time just in case they don't respond the first time right so we can go in here mini chat boom we're good to go here okay so really simple flow here right but is going to take it a step further right and keep in mind you can do phone numbers emails names you can add custom Fields so you could ask for somebody's you know address or maybe their body weight or how many times they work out a week right the possibilities are literally endless here and they don't have to go off platform right they

don't have to go to that weird Instagram browser where a lot of people typically fall off right you can ask some the questions in the chat and get really quick responses send all that information over to you know your EMS so convert kit or kit for me or you can send it over to your CRM using a make automation like I'll show you in a second here so again just a reminder you can do this if they comment on a post if they comment on a story if they send you a DM so let's say

for example in your bio on Instagram you say DM me the word guide for my free Instagram growth hacks guide you could set up an automation just like this and it'll work and it'll go ahead and you collect people's emails so without you even having to make a video or a story or anything like that you're now collecting that just from people going to your page and seeing that automation now we don't want to ask people for their email every single time once they've given it to us because that can become really annoying so we

can simply make a fix for that by doing this we're going to add a condition so we're going to say we're going to check and if the email is unknown we're going to send them through here because we don't have their email yet but if the email is known we're going to zoom out here and we're simply just going to send them straight to the link because we already have our email we don't need to go ahead and collect their email again right someone might go through two three four different flows of yours and if

they're having to give their email every single time it can get pretty annoying and they're probably thinking why does Clark need my email so many times I gave it to him 3 weeks ago this is the fourth time I've had to give it to them right so this way you can go ahead and actually add that filter to make it even easier for people dming you the last step I want to show you here is a little bit more in- depth and this is more the stuff that I'm doing with my clients right now again

if you are interested in something like this you can click the link in the description there but you can add a make automation so you can trigger make which make is basically like zap year or an automation system where basically it'll connect a bunch of different apps outside of Min chat right and what this looks like as you can see I'll show you an example for my my client here Muhammad is we go in here we look at his Automation and we're just collecting emails here right so you can see that we collect the email

for the freebie sweet what is that and then you say hey just sent the email over but here it is right and you can see that we're triggering make here and what this does is on make we actually have it set up he he uses monday.com so we go ahead and we you know this triggers that make web hook that I just talked about it looks for someone to trigger that then it waits for 2 minutes so we can make sure we collect any phone numbers emails any data it goes and grabs all that data

and then it sends it over directly to your CRM so it never falls through the cracks because you have it in mini chat you're going to properly tag those people in Mini chat you have it in your email system they're going to be properly tagged in there and now we have it in your CRM as well so it's going to be nearly impossible for you to get forget about this person who came into your DMs and asked you whatever question this is or got whatever freebies you're talking about here just to show you here what

it looks like I use a site account called the AI wizard most people will use a normal account that has a first and last name but you can see it brought over the lead Thee the AI wizard first name last name got my email here it added them to the contacts and then we mark them as a new lead and we can even click on this button now to go directly to the mini chat chat that we have opened up now I'm just an admin on his mini chat account because I set this stuff up

for him but normally you wouldn't have that insufficient rights you'd be able to go ahead and message right away here so this is how we can take it even a step further with many chat so with this walkthrough you now know how to set up a very basic automation where you're going to send them to a link and you know how to set up a more complex automation where you're going to collect any emails phone numbers or data along those lines along with setting up a condition so you're never asking people for that more than
